Xishuangbanna, which has seasons like summer all year round, forms the most stark contrast in climate with Diqing, which has seasons like winter all year round.

Diqing is a typical Tibetan area in my country and the only Tibetan area in Yunnan Province. Although there are Tibetans in other cities in Yunnan, they are not Tibetan areas. Shangri-La, where Diqing Prefecture is located, is full of Tibetan architectural characteristics and has a different architectural art beauty. Because Diqing belongs to Tibet, he believes in Tibetan Buddhism. In the ancient city of Dukezong in Shangri-La, there are shocking Tibetan Buddhist prayer drums and several representative Tibetan temples.

Xishuangbanna and Diqing are also different in architecture. Xishuangbanna is a Southeast Asian style and a representative of Dai architecture. Compared with Diqing Tibetan area, Dai buildings in Xishuangbanna also have different architectural art beauty. Both Tibetan buildings and Dai buildings are classics of Oriental aesthetics.

Xishuangbanna is an area where southern Buddhism is prevalent. Buddha statues are completely different from Tibetan Buddhism. Both Tibetan Buddhism and southern Buddhism are just incarnations of Buddha in different regions, which is in line with China's idea of "doing as the Romans do". Therefore, different people's customs form a specific culture, and the so-called culture is just the crystallization and inheritance of human thoughts.

Affected by altitude, latitude and longitude, Diqing is like winter all year round. You can see the snowy mountains that do not melt all year round on the snowy mountains in the Urban area.
