This trip to Banna is a trip with my parents, which is quite rare, so the expectations are very high. Once people have high expectations, it is often difficult to get what they want. Except for the accommodation that satisfies us, other aspects are unsatisfactory. It is not that the attractions of Banna are not beautiful, but as a tourist city, it has dug too many "pits" for us, which seriously affects the experience. Let's go with me to take a look.

Banna Accommodation

We stayed in Banna for a total of four days. On the first day, we stayed in Jinghong City and had a so-so experience. For the other three days, we stayed at Yunmeiting Inn in Xishuangbanna, next to the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Mengle. My parents and I like this inn so much. It has a strong Dai style, full of tropical rainforest customs, and the surrounding environment is also very good. Compared with tickets to Banna attractions, this inn is the most cost-effective purchase. Moreover, the store's service is excellent. It served my parents so well. It was the most satisfying part of our trip to Banna. I must like it.

Banna attractions

Most of the attractions in Banna have the characteristics of virgin forests and tropical rainforests. Before going there, I looked for strategies online. Many friends said that the tropical rainforests in Banna have been replaced by rubber trees and no longer have the style of rainforests. I haven't been there before, and I don't know, but we went to rainforest areas such as Wangtianshu, Tropical Rainforest Valley and Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. I think it's okay. If there is not enough time, I suggest everyone go to Tropical Rainforest Valley and Botanical Garden.

Tropical rainforests are very primitive, more like the jungles we see in movies. The Botanical Garden is next to the Yunmeiting Inn where we stayed. There are seven parks in it. The scenery is really good and the air is better. It is my parents 'favorite. If you only choose one attraction in the tropical rainforest, go to the Botanical Garden.

The attractions we have visited in the four days in Banna include Primeval Forest Park, Jino Mountain Village, Manting Park, Xingguang Night Market and a day trip to the China-Myanmar border. There are peacocks in the virgin forest park, but not as many as expected. Fortunately, the air is good and the forest coverage rate is extremely high. Jino Shanzhai is the last certified ethnic minority in China. Every 20 people arrange a guide to introduce ethnic history, song and dance performances, snacks, fruits and specialties are also good.

What attracts me more in Manting Park is the bonfire party. Opposite is the Lancang River and Mekong River. It is quite romantic at night. A one-day trip to the China-Myanmar border was too stupid. Before I went, I still dreamed of stepping on the two countries. After I went, I could only look at the office buildings that entered and exited the country from afar. Moreover, I had to pay for the meal at my own expense. My mentality collapsed. Before this, everything was acceptable, but this day ruined all good impressions and seriously affected my mood.

Overall, the attractions and accommodation in Banna are still very satisfactory, but the consumption is really a bit expensive. Apart from these factors, the trip to Banna was okay. This "okay" is because my parents are relatively happy and have a lot more smiles. No matter what, it's good that they like it.
