Pu 'er, Xishuangbanna Tourism and Essays on the Times of Standing Teams

Visiting relatives abroad seems hopeless, and global customs clearance is probably far away. However, people's impulse to wander seems to have a kind of inertia. Every golden autumn period, including the word golden autumn, has the motivation to activate people to go out for a walk. The first trip during the epidemic unknowingly led to Yunnan during a conversation with the travel agency customer service. The first stop to Yunnan is the border city of Pu 'er City in Yunnan.

At the T2 terminal of Baiyun Airport, leading to the customs checkpoint, about an hour before the plane took off, an old friend sent a tweet talking about "standing in line". When people endure all kinds of closures for the COVID-19 epidemic, if you don't want to close it, you have to endure all kinds of repeated inspections and testing, just like you unknowingly moved from Guangzhou to Yunnan, at this juncture today, Perhaps all people around the world are unknowingly moving towards a new era. This era, as our old friend WeChat said, is probably called the "era of standing in line".

The famous Hamlet question: To be or not to be ,that is the problem. I really had a shallow experience in the past. However, travel always gives people an opportunity to inspire. This tweet happened to be received just when we were out of isolation. It is simply an announcement of a certain opportunity and destiny. Every individual person is constantly facing the node of choosing one or more of the two. From daily necessities, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea, to stopping, resting or moving forward on the way of life, to Hamlet's question of life and death.

Is it Yunnan or Guizhou? I chose Yunnan, where to go to Yunnan, and also chose Xishuangbanna, a border landscape area in Yunnan.

Before the epidemic, this society had various behaviors due to different values. But these different behaviors do not seem to require people to take sides, and people can probably get along peacefully. Most Chinese people in a cultural circle can still abide by the ancient Chinese motto,"Do not neglect to do a good deed just because it seems small, and do not commit an evil act just because it seems small."

However, the epidemic seems to have accelerated the disintegration of people with different values and taken sides in the era, because this hateful epidemic seems to have arrived in this troubled world ahead of schedule. The entire earth seems to be upgrading and warming as global temperatures increase. The voices of demeanor, magnanimity, moderation, and peace seem to be getting smaller by the day, while the voices of violence, blackmail, threats, and fighting are getting louder by the day.

It seems that everyone has to bet in this era, and it seems that in the next few decades, there will always be an ending where you lose and I win. In the era of standing in line, to put it more bluntly, it is the era of tense tensions. In the twilight of my life, I have the honor to once again see an upgraded version of the era that is full of blood. I wonder if it is luck, confusion or disappointment? However, such a historical necessity can arouse people's endless thinking. In the past century of mankind, some historians have summarized the story of fascism, the story of GCism and the story of ZY. This century of the 21st century will probably write another human story in the new century because of this era of standing in line after the epidemic.

How should we team? This is a question as grand as Hamlet's question. This small article will only mention it for the time being and leave it to be carefully understood later. However, the author thinks that this is probably not a question of right or wrong, a question of an ethnic group, nor a question of true or false. If we insist on making a distinction, it is probably just a question about wise and foolish, about values, and about life experience. I'd better jump out of this question and leave the text to Pu 'er City, where I just arrived.

The first two days of stops in Pu 'er were dedicated to the wetland park in the city center. When I stayed at the Lanmeishan Business Hotel, one is the Ancient Tea Horse Road in the east and west directions, and the other is the Ancient Tea Horse City. The distance is a little further, but it is actually only 3 kilometers away, but it is nearly dusk, so I am afraid there is no time to visit. Less than 500 meters away from Lanmeishan Hotel is the Wetland Park in Pu 'er City, which is divided into two parts: the northern wetland and the southern wetland. Taking advantage of the sunset and dusk, I walked around the wetland for a long time, and it was still a little interesting. It is a bit regrettable that such a good wetland is surrounded by towering buildings? Does the population of this area have to build such high-rise buildings to meet the living needs of local people? However, this sense of facing the high-rise wetland still couldn't block the beautiful scenery of the wetland, so I left a few photos of the wetland, just to think about traveling.

On the way back, I had lunch at the Damapang Hotel and left a photo of the hotel.

Let's stop here for the time being for Pu 'er. We have to get up after 5 o'clock the next day. We should leave the hotel at 7 o'clock and go to Xishuangbanna, the main scenic spot of this tour. There, it seemed that something was inspiring me again, so I could probably make an essay similar to this one.
