Xishuangbanna Tourism Experience

I just came back from Xishuangbanna and wanted to write something. Because I took my 3-year-old child, I didn't go to Mengyuan Wonderland, Wangtian Tree, etc., but only went to some attractions. Therefore, there is no merit. In addition, everyone's hobbies are different and their feelings will be very different. I like to slowly experience the local cultural and natural environment, and I am particularly interested in plants. I am not interested in some particularly lively places, so I can only talk about my personal experience from the attractions I have visited personally.

1. The Tropical Botanical Garden is the most worthwhile attraction. It is recommended to spend a day visiting it. The inside is so big that you must take the Jingjiao bus. At night, you can stay at the Wanglian Hotel in the Botanical Garden. The surrounding environment is very good and very quiet. You can fully feel the unique beauty brought by tropical plants.

2. Although Dai gardens and Dai villages cannot be called original ecology, they are also full of life. It is recommended to go as early as possible. There are very few tourists who go early. Manchun Man Village is relatively the most original ecological area. Go around the village first, and then visit the Manchun Man Temple in the village. Compared with other temples, Manchun Man Temple is richer in content and has a more garden atmosphere. It is very quiet when you go early, but you can take a slow look and it is also very interesting. Because the temple is not big enough to wait for many tourists, I don't feel anything at all. Manzha Village has the most concentrated B & Bs and the most beautiful environment. You can taste Dai family rice here. Sitting in the courtyard of the Dai family, holding grilled fish, roasted pork, pineapple rice and so on, it still feels very good. Dai garden scenery delivery car is also a must-take. Another highlight is the Water-Splashing Festival performance. If you like it, you have to occupy a seat half an hour in advance, preferably on the second floor.

3. In Wild Elephant Valley, I saw 3 wild elephants, and I was lucky. I heard that most tourists can't see it. I just can't see the wild elephants, but it's still very pleasant to walk on the plank road, enjoy the rainforest scenery, and breathe the fresh air. Special reminder that it is still necessary to take the cableway. Also, enter from the north gate. There are few people there and convenient parking, so you don't have to squeeze with a tour group. As for elephant performances, some people like to watch and some people don't like them. Everyone likes different things. When eating in Wild Elephant Valley, it is recommended to eat at the cableway entrance near the south gate. There is a shop there that has instant noodles, and you can also let him cook rice noodles or stir fry vegetables. Don't go to the Elephant Restaurant in the South Gate to eat Dai rice. It's not delicious and has no feeling.

4. Manting Park, which is where everyone will go, let's not talk about it. The main Buddhist temple is at the exit. There are too many introductions here on the Internet, so there is no need to introduce them. Just to emphasize that Manting Park is not big and you don't need to take the Jingjiao bus.

5. Tropical flower garden. If you have been to the Tropical Botanical Garden, there is no need to go to the flower garden at all. Small in scale, similar, and mainly composed of woody plants. Don't take the Jingjiao Bus, just walk and have fun. It will take an hour to get it done.

6. Prajna Temple, you must go. The color of the pagoda is very beautiful. It is a white with a slight silvery shine. It is very beautiful against the blue sky.

7. Gaozhuang is a place where the dream of a princess is realized. Beautiful women are everywhere, princesses are everywhere, and travel photos are the most concentrated place. The Xingguang Night Market is very lively, and the things inside are not expensive. It is also the world where barbecue is eaten. It is lively until after 12 o'clock every day. You can stay near Gaozhuang for 2 days, but the accommodation price is about twice as expensive as on the other side of the river.

8. Eat, you can have Dai rice at the Dai Garden and have a Southeast Asian dinner at Princess Gaozhuangnan. The taste is still good and highly recommended. Manfeilong's roast chicken is okay, but the rest is unclear.

9. Stay here. I especially recommend Xindai Garden Hotel, an old hotel. Building B has not been renovated long ago, and others are still under renovation. From service to environment, it is first-class. There are nearly 150 acres of large yard with dozens of plants, tropical flowers and fruit trees, many of which are introduced with labels, just like a small botanical garden. Enough for 2 hours. The hotel also has 2 swimming pools, but unfortunately they are now closed. The road outside the hotel and street trees should be the most beautiful tropical landscape avenue in the country and can be used as check-in points. The surrounding healthy trails are no less than parks. Turn left out of the hotel and there is a restaurant called Jinglongyuan. The price is not high, the food is good, and you have to make a reservation for many people. There is a small supermarket in the community across the road, which makes it convenient to buy some things.

10. OK, if there are many people, you have to go to distant places, such as the Botanical Garden, Wild Elephant Valley, Dai Village, etc. It is still convenient to rent a car, but when renting a car with a lower price, don't expect driving recorders, reversing images, or reversing radars. In Manting Park, Forest Park, Prajna Temple, etc. in the urban area, taxis are still affordable. I have never chartered a car before. When I came back, I heard from the tourists on the plane that it would be 200 yuan a day. After the tour, I took it to Dai's home to buy silverware or something. It was up to my own discretion whether to chartered a car.
