This time I went to Yangzhou and stayed at Yangzhou Shouxihu Hot Spring Resort. Next to the hotel is Yangzhou Banquet Restaurant. Compared to traditional Yangzhou morning tea, here, not only can you taste the traditional Yangzhou morning tea's five ding bao, hot dried silk, double yolk eggs, flavored cakes, crab shell roe, thousand layer cake, jade shaomai, crab roe soup dumplings, etc., but also incorporate Cantonese morning tea, achieving two meals per table.

This may be the best hotel in Yangzhou, without a doubt. Staying at the hotel allows unlimited free hot spring baths, which is really comfortable. Yangzhou Shouxi Lake Hot Spring Resort is located at the east gate of Shouxi Lake. Walking out of the hotel, passing through the tree lined avenue, is the Shouxi Lake ticket checkpoint. Next to the hotel is Yangzhou Banquet Restaurant. The ancient Yangzhou water system surrounds the resort, and every room in the hotel is equipped with a private butler. The hot spring villas in the resort are designed to continue the simplicity and antiquity that the resort has inherited, with details incorporating elements of Yangzhou gardens.

The soft cushions on the long rows of marble seats make the sitting experience more comfortable. Behind the sofa, which was originally plain and unremarkable, the embellishment of a flower window added an elegant and antique atmosphere to a pink wall. This thoughtful arrangement that balances design and experience can be seen everywhere in the guest room. There is a hot spring pool in the villa courtyard, which is filled with natural hot spring water from over 2000 meters below the surface. The design of the courtyard also follows the method of garden landscaping, with landscape bamboo and low shrubs planted between the high walls and the soaking pool, and lake stones and courtyard stone lamps embellished between the lush greenery, creating a refined and elegant atmosphere that is not inferior to the Japanese style. Indulging in such a private space and relaxing, this may be a rare vacation experience. On one side of the courtyard, two lounge chairs are placed side by side, with a streamlined design that maximizes the fit of the human back curve. An open white umbrella is a great choice for both rain and shade, and it exudes a strong sense of vacation.

The Slender West Lake, located across the street from the resort, is a symbol of Yangzhou and a must visit for those who are new to the city. The lake surface is sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, with sparse trees on both sides and quaint and colorful garden architecture. Strolling along the shore of Shouxi Lake, one can fully appreciate its poetic and picturesque charm. There are many bridges on Shouxi Lake, and the most famous one is undoubtedly Hongqiao. After visiting Shouxi Lake, the Qing Dynasty poet Fei Xuan once left the poem "Yangzhou is good, the first is Hongqiao, with willows green and three feet of rain, cherry red breaking a flute, and orchids living everywhere".

It's great to go cycling or taking a walk at the Songjiacheng Historical Site Park. The most important thing is that the environment is so good and free. No wonder the locals also love to come here for walks and runs. The various sports facilities here are very comprehensive. Why is it called Songjiacheng? In the Song Dynasty, there was a saying in Yangzhou that "one place, three cities" were called Song Dacheng, Song Jiacheng, and Baoyou City. Songjia City is located between Baoyou City and Songda City, and the current Songjia City was rebuilt and developed on the original site. One of the characteristics of the Songjiacheng Historical Site Park is the colorful ring of "red, blue, and green". The "three roads" are waterways, fitness trails, and bike lanes. Cycling through the Songjiacheng Archaeological Site Park, you can experience the scenery in minutes. Not far from cycling, you can see the boardwalk by the pond, and further ahead you will reach the Dayun River. From a distance, you can see the Buddha Pagoda of Daming Temple, a natural oxygen bar, and a beautiful environment. It's really worth recommending!

In the west gate of Songjia City in Yangzhou, there is a hidden "Songcheng Bookstore", which many locals in Yangzhou do not know. This is a bookstore in the style of the Song Dynasty. The overwhelming fragrance of books, mixed with the wood fragrance of wooden bookshelves, instantly soothes the mind. Various types of paper books are displayed on the bookshelves, and the bookshelves, tables, and chairs are all made of high-quality elm wood. The store's structure is tailored to local conditions, seamlessly integrated with the city tower, and accompanied by several paintings and calligraphy, which is very elegant

The private rooms for playing the piano and reading can burn incense, and books are divided into two parts: free reading and paid reading. In the quiet ruins park, you can encounter such a fresh and elegant library, and even if you don't do anything, you will feel particularly relaxed.
