In fact, it's not too late to get up and go to Yangzhou in April. I booked my train ticket, hotel, packed my luggage, and withdrew from the complicated life, embarking on a journey to Yangzhou.

When we arrived in Yangzhou, night had already fallen and a hazy new moon hung in the night sky, shy and timid like a young girl. The dazzling stars dotted the moon, so beautiful that people slowly stopped and looked up for a long time, admiring this painting of nature. The warm breeze came slowly, and I looked for a long time before stopping a taxi to go to the Super 8 Hotel located on Yangzijiang North Road in Shouxi Lake.

Not long after, I arrived at the hotel. There were two hotel receptionists in the lobby welcoming guests. I walked up with my suitcase in hand, and they smiled and helped me check in. They led me to my room before leaving. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable, which relieved my fatigue along the way. After looking at the room, I couldn't help but lie down on the soft big bed. After a while, I got up to take a shower, dried my hair, covered myself with a blanket, and fell asleep.

When I woke up, I opened the curtains of my room. Indeed, spring is the best time in Yangzhou. After washing up, I read the Yangzhou travel guide prepared by the hotel in advance, and I couldn't wait to go out and see more beautiful scenery. My first stop was Shouxi Lake.

After tidying up, I walked out of the hotel and got off at the bus stop. I took bus No. 50 and arrived at the west gate of Shouxi Lake in about twenty minutes. After entering from the west gate of Shouxi Lake, what catches the eye is the long embankment of spring willows along the way, with willows leaning against each other on both sides and lush flowers and trees. There are endless views along the lake in a week. Plants and trees support the Su, and the Azure Dragon is lush green. The elegant and graceful classical garden buildings on the lakeside are awe inspiring. Pink walls and black tiles, pavilions and towers, blending the south and the north into one, unique and beautiful, hidden among the green trees.

In the later period of enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Slender West Lake, my stomach began to be hungry, so I came out from the East Gate to Yangzhou to feast on the coveted Yangzhou food, fresh and delicious drunk crabs, well-defined Yangzhou fried rice, soft, glutinous and smooth lion's head Full of happiness after eating.

Subsequently, we walked to the nearby Daming Temple and followed the tour guide to learn about the life story of Master Jianzhen, the allusions of each scenic spot, and the mysteries of worshiping Buddha. Later, I went to Pingshan Hall to experience the friendship between Ouyang Xiu and Su Shi. I recorded that on Pingshan Hall, I lay my head in the misty rain of Jiangnan, and there was no lonely swan in the distance. Recognize the language of the drunken man, whether the mountain scenery is beautiful or not.

At night, I returned to the hotel with beautiful scenery and delicious food. After taking a warm bath and recording the beauty of the day, I lay on the hotel bed and fell into a deep sleep.

The next day was a day of shopping while eating. I punched many Yangzhou morning tea delicacies, such as sweet but not greasy bean paste sesame balls, a mouthful of juicy Steamed dumplings filled with soup, crispy and refreshing shredded radish, delicious glutinous rice, and genuine crab roe soup dumplings

Yangzhou is a city that is suitable for calming down and slowly walking and experiencing. Unfortunately, I won't be able to fully enjoy the beauty of Yangzhou during this trip. Let's schedule another time. When leaving Yangzhou, it started to rain lightly in the sky, with wisps of blue smoke and gentle drizzle lingering together. The weeping willows on the bank of the embankment complemented the blooming flowers, like a painted ink painting, unforgettable.
