In my impression, Yangzhou is an ancient city with a long history and rich culture. Not only are there many famous poems about Yangzhou, such as "Old people say goodbye to the Yellow Crane Tower in the west, fireworks set in Yangzhou in March", "The spring breeze is ten miles away from Yangzhou Road, rolling up the pearl curtain is not as good as it is", "The world is divided into three parts of a bright moon night, and two parts of a scoundrel is Yangzhou", etc., but also the Tang Dynasty had a glorious "Yang Yi Er".

I have visited Yangzhou twice in 2018 and 2019, mainly visiting tourist attractions such as Shouxi Lake, Songjiacheng, 486, and Daming Temple. The three aspects that left the deepest impression on me are the cuisine, folk intangible cultural heritage, and environment of Yangzhou;

First of all, let's talk about the food in Yangzhou. As a millennium old city, Yangzhou has a long history of food culture. It is the main birthplace of Huaiyang Cuisine cuisine, one of the four major cuisines in China. It has also been awarded the World Food Capital by the United Nations (in China, there are only Macao, Chengdu, Shunde, Yangzhou). Therefore, our trip in Yangzhou can almost be said to be a food trip. It is not only delicious, but also very delicate. It is refreshing and does not duplicate every day. In particular, the breakfast here is a unique Chinese food. It can not only be enjoyed in the Fun Garden, Fuchun, Yechun and other famous shops, but also be enjoyed under the Emperor Qianlong before As in state time, enjoy it on the cruise ship;

If we talk about the most memorable dish in Yangzhou, I think it should be Wensi Tofu. Not only is it delicious, but the chef can also cut the fragile tofu into fine, hair like lines, which is truly amazing. It can also be regarded as the best display of knife skills among the three knives in Yangzhou.

Next is the folk crafts of Yangzhou. I have visited Yangzhou twice, both times at the famous 486 Art Park, where I met many national, provincial, and municipal intangible cultural inheritors. Some of them made birdcages, embroidery, cursive flowers, lacquer paintings, gold and silver crafts, and inherited three knives

Each item is a remarkable intangible cultural heritage, a folk skill that has been passed down for thousands of years, which impresses us and makes us understand the true spirit of craftsmanship. We strive to do one thing in our lifetime and strive to achieve the ultimate craftsmanship. At the same time, the relevant departments in Yangzhou also attach great importance to this and have built a dedicated art park, providing great support. This is worth learning from all over the country.

Finally, I would like to say that the environment of Yangzhou is really beautiful. When we arrived in Yangzhou in March 2019, the whole city was like a big garden. Whether on both sides of the streets or in the community gardens, there were various flowers such as cherry blossoms and qionghua everywhere. Especially in the Shouxi Lake, it can be called a sea of flowers, plum blossoms, welcome flowers, magnolias, tulips, crabapples, lilacs, camellias, hydrangeas, dogwoods... It can be said that the garden is full of spring colors, making people feel relaxed and happy. No wonder Yangzhou ranked first on the list of the top ten livable cities in China for a year, which is well deserved and not inferior to Suzhou and Hangzhou, which are known as the paradise on earth.

Huaizuo is a famous capital, and Zhuxi is a great place! Yangzhou is a city with a long history and abundant resources. It has many titles such as World Heritage City, World Food Capital, World Canal Capital, etc. It is a livable and tourist friendly place, and a city that makes people want to stay and stay for a long time while traveling.
