In 2020, I stayed for a total of 20 nights while traveling to other provinces and cities, all of which were self driving trips. The year 2020 is very special. The COVID-19 came suddenly, which will have a significant impact on the global economy and social life. After the Spring Festival, China's tourism industry almost came to a halt and gradually recovered in the second half of the year. We only resumed self driving tours in late August. Although sporadic outbreaks occurred from time to time in the fourth quarter, we boldly went out, but we were unable to cross the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Due to the fact that all 9 self driving trips are short distance trips to Jiangsu and Zhejiang, the total mileage traveled throughout the year is only 4656 kilometers, which is significantly lower than the 8810 kilometers in 2019.
Our preferred travel destinations are mainly Buddhist national key temples, national key cultural relics protection units, Chinese historical and cultural famous towns, Chinese historical and cultural famous villages, and Chinese historical and cultural famous streets in Han areas. In addition, we are particularly fond of water features, especially sea views.

Out of the 20 nights of accommodation, 11 nights were spent in a five-star hotel listed. The most expensive accommodation is in Xilei Xiaozhuang on Mount Putuo, which is listed as a four-star hotel and costs 698 yuan (excluding breakfast). This is mainly because hotels on Putuo Mountain Island are generally more expensive.
The most satisfactory room facilities are the Sheraton Zhoushan Greentown Hotel, which is listed as a five-star hotel with a luxurious city view twin room priced at 549 yuan (double breakfast).
The view outside the balcony of the Sheraton Zhoushan Greentown Hotel is excellent.
The best hotel balcony is Daishan Kaiyuan Hotel, a deluxe twin room, priced at 486 yuan (double breakfast).
The hotel is located on a small island, with a corner of the fishing port visible in the distance.
The most satisfactory hotel for self-service breakfast is Zhejiang Shibo Hotel, which is listed as a five-star hotel with a luxurious and elegant twin room priced at 368 yuan (double breakfast). Breakfast is very rich, and there are many Chinese varieties, such as fried, Steamed dumplings, small Wonton, etc.
The most unforgettable aspect of a restaurant is its original flavor. Mainly engaged in seafood, with affordable prices, we have stores in Dinghai, Putuo Mountain, Daishan, Ningbo and other places. We are 'path dependent' and have dined at 'original flavor' chain stores for five consecutive nights.
