I used to come here as a child, and I originally wanted to go to the popular photo spot of Green Ocean Wetland to check in. But now that I am a mother and bring Doreen to play, I couldn't go. However, the three-day and two night trip was still fully arranged.

DAY 1 Nantong Yangzhou (hotel stay+Dongguan Street+Yechun)

The two-hour journey from Nantong to Yangzhou was delayed due to our work on the first day. By the time we arrived in Yangzhou, it was already late in the evening. A friend had booked a hotel with good value for money and was in the city. We packed our luggage and took a short break.

I checked on the map and found that it's very close to Dongguan Street. I was afraid it would be difficult to park here, so I took a taxi over. To be honest, we have seen many ancient streets like this since we were young in Jiangsu. There's nothing special about them, they are all selling tourism products and snacks.

There is a Yechun restaurant in Dongguan Street, and we had dinner here. It has to be said that starting from here, I feel that the service attitude of Yangzhou people is really great.

The dishes are also light and healthy. This Yangzhou fried rice is really unique. Anyone who comes here must order it. The river shrimp is also fresh.

Nowadays, it's summer and more people come out for walks at night. There are also many local aunties dancing square dances, which are particularly lively.

DAY 2 Yangzhou (Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort Hotel+Fun Garden Tea House+Dream City)

The next morning, we switched to a Skinny West Lake Hot Spring Resort Hotel, which had a great environment. Compared to other star rated hotels, this one provided excellent service.

We booked a big bed room with a balcony. The service attitude from the welcoming uncle to the cleaning lady in the room is really unforgettable. They are very patient on a hot day. They told me about the layout of the room and the hotel, and all the drinks in the refrigerator are free to use. When bringing a baby, there is also a small gift box, children's slippers, and child care gifts. The details will determine if I will recommend them to my friends next time.

After checking in, we had lunch at the Fun Garden Tea House, which is one of the internet famous restaurants I read about on Little Red Book, so I decided to come and check in.

Listening to music and ordering food at the same time is quite romantic.

Although the quantity of each dish is not large, the taste and service are considered good. For those with elegant flavors, you can take photos outside. In the summer, it's too hot and I didn't take outdoor shots with my child. I also ordered a portion of Yangchun noodles when I came to Yangzhou. Different tea houses have different tastes.

Come on, let's talk about the top priority of visiting Yangzhou this time. The most impressive thing for me from childhood to adulthood is the Wuting Bridge in Shouxi Lake. And this time, we are heading to a newly opened amusement park, which is the City of Dreams. It has a superior geographical location, making it easy to find and park by self driving. As the park has just opened, it is currently free of charge for entrance and play projects. Many friends from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai have read my posts on social media and are planning to bring their children to play.

There are rental scooters available at different locations in the park, which are very suitable for those of us who are taking care of our babies. Renting one for a long time is not expensive, but of course, if you don't rent a car, it is recommended to bring a baby stroller. This way, if the baby gets tired, they can rest, and parents can easily take turns playing with the park's activities. It's like taking a child to play without any problems.

Even in the hot summer, there are still many people coming here to play, including parents and children, friends and brothers, and company team building. Some experience projects may even last for one or two hours. At this time, you can take a map from the service center, study the routes first, and understand the performance time of each venue. If you only need to walk, it will take about 45 minutes to walk around the park.

Our first destination is of course Dorian's favorite children's playground.

There is a puppet show called "Pinocchio Adventure" in the Children's Fun Park. The puppetry park perfectly integrates national intangible cultural heritage and modern technology. Here, you can feel the long history of the Chinese nation. It is necessary to take children to see and understand the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. After watching, there are time trains, small firefighters, and chance encounters with wooden horses to play at the entrance. Playing in a stop and go style like this, taking care of the child is not tiring at all, hahaha.

My baby is relatively young, and she is very excited to see the carousel and the small train. There are many people queuing up here in an orderly manner.

I remember the carousel we played in Anji last month was a single deck, but this time it's a double deck and we can still enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park. If you come with your best friend, you can take many fresh photos. Suddenly recalling the time before becoming a mother, you can't help but feel that time flies.

There are two types of bumper cars here. The older children can play with the ordinary one, and the other is the candy bumper car that allows little kids like us to sit with our parents. Accompanied by beautiful music, the time spent playing with children is always simple, relaxed, and happy.

In the Children's Fun Park, there are cute pets to feed, with food priced at 10 yuan per serving. There are sheep, rabbits, hamsters, and they can also be purchased. Dorian likes it very much and has bought several servings to feed, enjoying it endlessly. But to experience this, you must come earlier, otherwise in the evening, the pets will be fed up and lazily lying down to sleep, unwilling to interact with people.

At noon, you can take a break after lunch at a restaurant in the park. There are many delicious foods here, including Yangcheng style, and the prices are relatively reasonable compared to other amusement parks I have visited.

There are more activities suitable for adults to play in the park, such as spinning flying chairs, canal drifting, Guangling Ghost Market, etc. These are all popular projects in the park and relatively exciting. It has to be said that the new park has indeed invested a lot in equipment, visual effects, and experience, making the experience more interesting.

Perhaps people are really over 30 years old. As an old lady, I have seen many student groups playing hurricane swings and knight roller coasters, and I cannot help but admire their courage. Just watching from the side feels super exciting.

If you bring your parents here, you can go and see the "Xun Qin Ji" in Guangyin Huajing. It usually takes half an hour every day, with holographic projection and unique time travel performances. The content of the play is really rich.

Dreamy Ice Valley is perfect for summer play, with winter scenery inside. You have to wear a cotton jacket when you go in to play. The changes of the two seasons make you feel cool and uplifted. On a hot day, you just want to stay inside and enjoy the coolness of the ice and snow, without going out to bask in the sun.

After 6pm, more and more tourists come to visit the amusement park at night, which is actually more comfortable. After all, there is no scorching sun, and many people have bought evening tickets to bring their children to play. The slides here are still suitable for older children, full of exploration and thinking, but parents should always take care of them.

I ordered some light meals in the Hudun small kitchen, took a break after finishing them, and also selected and purchased some souvenirs to give to friends at the market. We took Dorian around the park again, and when various lights were turned on, there was another beautiful scenery. Paired with beautiful music, it was very pleasing to the eye.

At night, there is a magical light and shadow show in the canal sky, where light and shadow intertwine with fountains, and music and dance blend together, creating a very beautiful atmosphere. I also took a few night photos, which were really beautiful. Later, I saw them in a video posted by a friend, which was even more stunning and charming. This kind of light show is definitely wonderful and not to be missed. Playing at night with the cool breeze, people's mood becomes quieter. Looking at the beautiful lights in the garden, they are really intoxicated. The little baby is blowing bubbles with children from all over the world coming to play on the square, which is very happy!

After playing for a day, the most profound feeling for me is that this is a playground where both adults and children can play to their hearts' content. Dorian loves the Children's Fun Park very much. She stays here for a whole day without getting tired. Many parents bring their children here to play. Sometimes when playing, I often think that taking my child to an early childhood education class is better than taking them out to play. This way, I can learn more! DAY 3 Yangzhou (Skinny West Lake+Lion Tower+Yangzhou Science and Technology Museum) - Nantong

I arranged the third itinerary relatively relaxed, starting after taking a big lazy nap in the morning and having a meal at the hotel.

The lobby of Shouxihu Hot Spring Resort Hotel faces the east gate of Shouxihu Scenic Area. There is a shuttle bus in the hotel that directly takes you to the entrance of the lobby, and then you can walk across a road to get there.

When the kids were hot, I was also hot. There weren't many tourists in the non weekend scenic area. I took them to see what Wuting Bridge and White Pagoda were, and then we went out to enjoy lunch.

I ordered a 100 yuan lion head at the Lion Tower in Yangzhou University, which was genuine and worth the price. I felt like ordering just one dish would fill me up, and seeing it made me feel satisfied.

In the afternoon, when you come to Yangzhou Science and Technology Museum, you need to make an appointment on the WeChat official account in advance to enter the museum for free. Those with children can come here to play.

There are many interesting projects in the museum. Take a leisurely afternoon and learn a lot of popular science knowledge that can guide parenting.
