After three years, I finally traveled out of the province again. I wrote another long travel note after a long time. I hope everyone can read it patiently. It contains relatively comprehensive travel guides for Yangzhou. (I hope everyone can read the comments, give some opinions or suggestions, and talk about what you want to see)

The destination of this trip was Yangzhou. Fireworks went to Yangzhou in March. Originally, I planned to go to the end of March or early April, but for various reasons, I set off again on April 22. By this time, the flowering period of some flowers in Yangzhou had expired, which was a bit a pity, but the beautiful scenery of Yangzhou was still impressive.

This time, due to insufficient preliminary strategies, some of the scenic spots have to go back and forth. This time, I will write two plans in the route planning. Day1

Because Jieyang did not have direct tickets to Yangzhou, we decided to fly from Jieyang to Nanjing. After arriving at Nanjing Airport, we took the subway to Nanjing High-speed Railway Station and took the high-speed railway to Yangzhou Station.

After arriving in Yangzhou, we waited for a taxi directly outside the station and went to the hotel to check in. I really like chatting with the local driver while riding in a strange city, so that I can learn about the local customs, history, culture and scenic spots as quickly as possible. This time, the driver told us that the Cherry Blossom Avenue on Jianzhen Road is only available for two weeks during the Qingming Festival, and the flowering period is only about two weeks. We can't see it now. My first impression on Yangzhou along the way was that the roads were really clean and the greening was very good. This can give people an inexplicable impression of Yangzhou.

On the first day, we stayed at Slender West Lake Songcheng Resort Hotel. The interior environment of the hotel is good. On the first floor of the hotel, there is a branch of Quyuan Tea House on the innermost entrance. We will have breakfast here tomorrow. There is a back garden and gym. The corridor on the second floor passes through the antique. Our room can see the back garden of the hotel.

After resting at the hotel for a while, we were ready to continue to set out for the first stop in Yangzhou, Shikefa Mansion (Shigong Temple). The river water at the entrance of Shigong Temple was green and clean, and no debris was seen at all. After entering the Shigong Temple, there is a dry lacquer storage statue of Shi Kefa in the center of the banquet hall. There are jade belts, ivory seals, tracing maps and other materials displayed in the cabinets on both sides. The ancestral hall displays a chronology of Shi Kefa's life events and the calligraphy treasures of celebrities at home and abroad. Later, it is Meihualing, and the east of the ridge is Plum Blossom Hall. There is a Qingxue Pavilion in the north of the ridge. On the inner wall are engraved with handwritten letters from Shi Gong Fu Qing Dynasty King Duerqiu and home letters, also known as the Hall of Remains of Ink. Ancient trees and rocks were scattered in Shigong Temple. When we arrived, the flowering period in the back garden had basically passed away, and only pear blossoms were still in full bloom. To be honest, I didn't know Shi Kefa, a historical figure. I only began to understand it when I was preparing to travel to Yangzhou. This time, I learned more about this historical figure after coming to Shigong Temple, and I couldn't help but admire it.

After visiting Shigong Temple, our next attraction is Geyuan, which is only about 10 minutes 'walk away from Shigong Temple. Shigongci goes out of the door, turn left and go straight, cross Guangchumen Bridge and go straight and turn right. Opposite the Jade Bridge is the North Gate of Geyuan. The number of visitors to the park is obviously much more than that of Shigong Temple. After entering the park, I feel like it is a small park. The passage in the upper half of the area after entering the north gate is basically covered with bamboo forests of various varieties, and the orchid garden contains the world's largest bamboo. The middle department is the garden area, with four scenic spots in spring, summer, autumn and winter, fake mountains and forests, fish bones and stones, the sound of frogs in lotus ponds, bleak autumn wind, Xianren Cave, Fuyunting and other attractions. All buildings in the garden have fake stones with their own connotations. Near the south gate is a residential area, which is suitable for taking photos and checking in. If you have time to visit Geyuan, I suggest listening to the explanation. You can follow the tour group and use the tour guide for free. Only then can you fully understand the history and cultural heritage of Geyuan. After you understand it better, you can look at this garden again., you will sincerely admire the greatness of the designer.

Coming out from the south gate of Geyuan is the middle of Dongguan Street. I like the overall atmosphere of the building. The street is not wide and most of the buildings have a historical flavor. I don't know if they were newly built later. Dongguan Street is basically a food street, one of the check-in points for tourism. The middle of Dongguan Street is where Fuyuan is located. There are many small shops in the horizontal alleys of the street for washing feet, which are also characteristics of Yangzhou. After we came out of Geyuan, we walked in the direction of the city wall, so we didn't complete the entire journey of Dongguan Street.

Dinner was eaten near Exit Dongguan Street. After eating, we went to Slender West Lake Resort to soak in the hot spring. The hotel gave us a voucher. Passing by Wenchang Pavilion, I didn't stop to take photos. Wenchang Pavilion is equivalent to a local landmark and there is no way to board it. Later, I would pass by Wenchang Pavilion when I went to many scenic spots.

Day2

When I woke up early in the morning, the weather cooled down again, and it started to rain outside. I was going to go to Slender West Lake this morning, but the plan needed to be changed. I decided to go to Shuangbo Museum and Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics first in the morning, and then go to Slender West Lake in the afternoon without rain.

Breakfast was eaten at Quyuan on the first floor of the hotel. The restaurant was not big, but it was not full. The waiter is very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to chat and say hello. The Yangchun noodles here are delicious and beautiful, with a thick soup base. They are definitely my favorite. The cold dishes are all very exquisite. The dried bean curd tastes good with seasoning, but it is a little salty. Breakfast costs about 50 yuan per person.

It just happened that there was no rain when I went out, so I was ready to go to the Shuangbo Museum. On the way, the driver chatted with the driver, who was also a very enthusiastic teacher and was very familiar with the local history of Yangzhou. He introduced us: Geyuan has a long history and has a story about its buildings; He Garden was built by warlords, and the warlords were not born before it was bought by the surname He; it is recommended to visit Wang Xiaoyuan; Songjia City is a newly built city wall; the north gate (moat) of Geyuan used to be a city wall along Geyuan. The square city was later demolished for some reasons. Geyuan is a standard Laocheng District; Slender West Lake is some knowledge about how to integrate the homes of dozens of families in the past.

The Double Expo Museum is actually the Yangzhou Museum and the Sculpture Museum, and the two museums are together. The first floor is a museum, which mainly displays cultural relics and textiles. The venue on one side of the second floor also displays cultural relics, and the sculpture museum on the other side. It mainly introduces the development and inheritance of woodblock printing, movable type printing, papermaking, and the spread of papermaking, as well as related historical stories. The third floor is an introduction to the Engraving Printing Hall and Hancheng, as well as an introduction to Guangling City, Tangcheng, Songdacheng, and Yangzhou New City. The Double Expo Museum can be said to have a preliminary understanding of the overall history of Yangzhou. Yangzhou's development process in different dynasties and Yangzhou's contribution to printing have given me a further understanding of Yangzhou.

After leaving the Double Expo Hall, I went to the Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics Memorial Hall. I actually didn't know about this venue at all before, and I didn't know which eight people the Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics were, so I still had some expectations for coming here. Arriving at the Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics Memorial Hall, we mainly talked about the introduction of the eight Eccentrics and their calligraphy works. There is an inscription corridor and the ruins of the former residence. What impressed me the most was the former residence. The room occupied a small area. There was a small courtyard in front of the door. There were big trees on the left and right sides of the room. The left and right sides of the room were the master bedroom and the study. In the middle was the living room. The room was not big, but it made people feel comfortable. I stood there and imagined looking at the trees outside the window. The sun shone through the leaves into the window. It was so peaceful, quiet and warm.

At noon we went to make soy sauce for lunch. The lotus root slices and osmanthus here have a strong flavor; the taro is also delicious and has a thick juice; and the tofu is so-so.

After lunch, we set off for Slender West Lake. We left our luggage at the hotel. We will come back and pick it up after visiting Slender West Lake. We will stay at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel for the other two nights. Because Songcheng Resort Hotel has a shuttle bus that can be delivered to the vicinity of the east entrance of Slender West Lake, but it only lasts until 6 p.m., so we plan to take the shuttle bus in the afternoon and take a taxi back to pick up our luggage after leaving Slender West Lake. Daytime tickets for Slender West Lake are open until 7:30 p.m. If you leave the park after this time, you will have to make up for the night ticket, which is equivalent to buying a joint ticket. The shuttle bus was taken to the entrance of Slender West Lake Hot Spring Hotel. We turned left again and walked about 300 meters to reach the entrance of Slender West Lake.

It takes more than 5 hours to play the entire Slender West Lake, but some check-in attractions are concentrated in the southern area. I suggest entering from the north gate of Slender West Lake, so that you can visit the entire Slender West Lake by the way, and put the best scenery behind, so that even if you are a little tired from walking there and seeing the beautiful scenery, most of the fatigue will be eliminated. Slender West Lake Scenic Area is divided into Four Bridge Yanyu Scenic Area, Twenty-Four Bridge Scenic Area, Shijinquan Huayu Scenic Area and Newly Opened Scenic Area. There are Dahongqiao, Changdi Chunliu, Chuitai, Wuting Bridge, Xiaojinshan, Fuzhuang, Wangchun Tower, Xichun Terrace, Baita, Yueguan, Xuyuan, Wanhuayuan and other attractions.

It is recommended to visit Slender West Lake by foot and then by boat. There are several places to take a cruise ship, including one when entering the gate of the scenic area, but it is not recommended to take it at the beginning! Stroll to the thatched cottage on the lake and take a rocking boat for 50 yuan per person. If you have enough people to sail the boat! The beautiful women will introduce the beautiful scenery and historical allusions on both sides of Slender West Lake. Diaoyutai, Wuting Bridge, White Pagoda, and pavilions on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. You can also park the boat for tourists to take photos. Sometimes you will also try Yangzhou Xiaoqu. It is very interesting. Finally, I got off the boat near the 24th Bridge, and the whole journey is about half an hour. It is worth it!

The impression Slender West Lake gave me was one word: beauty! In fact, its lake water is not as clear and gorgeous as Jiuzhaigou or Qixiaokao. It is a kind of green that is highly integrated with the surrounding buildings and environment. It gives people the feeling that the green is natural and complete, with various gardens intertwined, and various lakes. The scenery is beautiful. It is no exaggeration to say that in Slender West Lake, 360° is beautiful. I am looking forward to what the snowy Slender West Lake will look like. I will definitely come again in winter if I have the opportunity in the future.

Depart from the South Gate to the hotel to pick up your luggage and go to the Doubletree Hilton Hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 7th floor. On the 7th floor, there is a lobby on one side and a restaurant on the other. The decoration is gorgeous. Doubletree Hilton has always given me a good impression, whether it is the decoration of the public space, the layout and cleanliness of the rooms, etc. I am quite satisfied. After checking into the hotel, it started to rain outside, which was a bit inappropriate for a cruise tonight, so we chose to order takeout in our room.

Day3

In the morning, go to Fuchun Tea House near Wenchang Pavilion for breakfast. It's already a working day, and it's a little congested to the city. The road here only has two to three lanes in one direction. Looking at the pedestrians on the street, the pace of life here is also slow, and I also prefer a slow-paced life. We passed by Wenchang Pavilion again. In fact, Wenchang Pavilion is like a landmark building and there is nothing to play.

Fuchun Tea House is hidden in an old street. On both sides of the alley are shops selling lacquerware, scissors and other sundries. It should be a section of the road in the Laocheng District. After entering the tea house, there were very many people inside. The first floor was full, so I had to go to the second floor. I waited for ten to twenty minutes for the food to be served. Maybe there were too many people in the tea house. Soup dumplings should be the specialty breakfast here, but I think they are too salty, but they have a strong crab flavor. The tofu soup is very smooth and should be a light dish, but I still think it is a little salty, but I think it is suitable for children. 48 guest points are a set meal. Crab yellow dumplings are full of meat and juice, so they are worth recommending. The plum blossom cake is very sweet and better than the plum blossom cake at the hotel for breakfast. The meat bun is simply amazing. I have never eaten such a solid meat bun before. The meat in the whole meat bun accounts for one-half, and the meat is full.

After breakfast, we walked to Heyuan, because it was only ten minutes away and we had to wait for a taxi. We also wanted to stop by to buy some fruits. We walked to the East Gate of Heyuan, and at the entrance we saw Taihu Rock Wall Rockery. The whole garden of Heyuan is divided into four parts: East Garden, West Garden, Garden Residence Courtyard, and Pianshi Mountain House. The Pianshi Mountain House is located in the south of East Garden, and the Garden Residence Courtyard is surrounded by East Garden, West Garden and Pianshi Mountain House. The two-story building and compound corridor in the garden are integrated with the houses in front. If you go further in, you will see a complex corridor that runs through the entire park. It is more than 1500 meters long and is known as the prototype of China's overpass. It is divided into two floors, upper and lower, connecting the East Garden, West Garden, and residential courtyards. There are assorted hole windows and water mill leakage windows on the walls on the southeast side of the corridor. At the end of the corridor, you will reach the residential area of the He family. The residential area is a revolving building divided into two floors. It incorporates Western architectural techniques, such as French louvered doors and windows, Japanese-style sliding doors, French fireplaces, wrought iron beds, etc. Further inside, there are backyards, ancestral halls, schools and other buildings. Looking at the introduction that He's family still lived here during the Republic of China, He Garden generally gives me the feeling of a garden with a flavor of life. Compared with Geyuan, He Garden feels closer to us.

After leaving He Garden, we went to Qionghua Temple. Qionghua Temple was built in the Han Dynasty, and most of the buildings seen now are renovated in modern times. The three words "Fanli Temple" are written on the archway at the entrance of the Taoist temple. When you step into the mountain gate behind the archway, you can see the main hall, Sanqing Hall. In front of Sanqing Hall, ginkgo, dragon claw locust, Qionghua, and old elm trees are planted. The garden behind Sanqing Hall is small and exquisite. The Qionghua Terrace inside is related to the down-and-down story of Wu Jingzi, author of "The Confucian Forest Outer History" in his later years. There is an inscription on the story of Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty and Yangzhou on the corridor in the backyard. The pavilion standing originated from Ouyang Xiu built next to the Qionghua. There is also a ginkgo tree in the backyard. It should be very beautiful when it blooms, but unfortunately, the flowering period was already over when we went, and we had hardly seen a blooming tree. Maybe there were no flowers due to the season, but when I asked the conductor, she told me there were still flowers. I would really thank you.

I went to the Tuesday Miss's food for lunch. The taste was quite good, and the decoration style of the store was also very unique.

After lunch, go to Daming Temple. On the way, I chatted with the driver again. The driver said that in autumn, the moon could be seen from the Wuting Bridge in Slender West Lake, and the Slender West Lake with snowy scenery in winter was more beautiful. The government around Slender West Lake has restrictions on building heights to ensure the overall appearance of ancient buildings. Another enthusiastic driver.

To reach the foot of Daming Temple, you need to walk up a flight of stairs. Many elderly people are selling incense on the road. After entering Daming Temple, my first impression was that the main hall was majestic and shocking. Especially the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva on the back. The embossed characters and background on it are lifelike. All the Buddha statues look down and look down on all living beings. Because taking pictures of Buddha statues was prohibited, I only photographed the surrounding buildings. Further inside, there is an ancestral hall dedicated to Master Jianzhen. There is a tree-lined path down to the left, suitable for walking. Walking in the direction of the exit, you can reach the Qiling Tower. This is also the place where you can see the panoramic view of Slender West Lake. We arrived here in the afternoon and we didn't climb to the top of the tower. On the right side of the Qiling Tower are the Drum Tower and Bell Tower. Visitors can enter and ring the bells on the second floor of the Bell Tower. When visiting Daming Temple, I suggest listening to electronic explanations or asking a tour guide, because some of the buildings inside are related to some historical figures or historical events. In this place with a strong historical and cultural atmosphere, if you really want to experience it deeply, you need to take your time and understand it little by little., and then integrate.

After leaving Daming Temple, go to Fuyuan. Because we weren't careful enough in the early stage to make sure that Fuyuan was on Dongguan Street, we had to walk into Dongguan Street again. Fuyuan is generally small and exquisite, but the taste of the small courtyard after entering the door is very strong. You can listen to small songs in the hall. Tickets are 120 yuan each. The backyard of Fuyuan is now a display area for the production of fragrant powder. It was over quickly.

Prepare to walk Pishishi Street and pass through Majia Lane. You will pass Wang's Garden. There is a building on the back covered with creeper trees. The alley has a sense of age. The Wang-style courtyard is hidden in the alley. Go straight and turn left. It is almost between Pishi Street and Dongguan Street. One entrance to Pishi Street is next to Yangzhou Tianjiabing Experimental Middle School. Pishi Street is full of youth and is a modern petty bourgeoisie style commercial street. After dinner, we had dinner at the Ge's house in Sansheng Square next to the hotel. The tableware here was very exquisite and the taste was the best for our taste.

After dinner, we set off for the Ancient Canal Cruise Terminal, which is also the Bianyimen Pier. Take a boat here to visit the night view on both sides of the Grand Canal and experience the Grand Canal up close. The boat trip time is 40 minutes long. Compared with the night view of the cruise ship in Chongqing, the night view is not that amazing. Some sections of the road even have no lights on one side, so I am actually a little disappointed. I think it would be better to come for the cruise ship during the day, but those who like the night view can also come at night. Feel it.

Day4

Depart at 8:55 a.m. for the Grand Canal Museum. The Grand Canal Museum requires an appointment more than one day in advance. You cannot enter the museum on the same day without a reservation. This museum is one of the attractions that I am most looking forward to. I originally planned to leave Yangzhou on the morning flight, but changed my reservation to an afternoon flight in order to come to the Grand Canal Museum. However, we still took our luggage with us, which can be stored at the front desk, and went directly to Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport after we finished shopping.

At around 9:15, a long queue formed outside the museum, estimated to be thousands of people. The queue lined up from the museum's check-in entrance (at the south gate) to the north gate entrance. It took about 40 minutes to enter the venue. Many tourists enter from the south gate and have to walk back to the north gate to queue up at the end of the line. It takes about 8 minutes to walk from the north gate to the south gate. I suggest you come back to visit after 10 o'clock. The peak period for admission to the museum during this time period should have passed, so there is no need to wait in long lines.

After entering the museum, you need to go through security. The selfie stick cannot be brought in and must be placed at the front desk. If friends have a tight schedule and have time to slowly visit the museum, I suggest renting an audio guide so that they can provide a detailed introduction before visiting a venue or exhibition, so that you can have a clearer understanding of the history and culture behind this item, rather than just taking a glance. However, if there is a time limit, you don't need to buy it, because the venue is very large and normally takes more than 3 hours to visit it. If there is a time limit, you can't finish visiting the entire museum while listening. Many people rent guided tours when they first enter the security check. In fact, there is no need to rent them there. There are few robots inside, so you can walk an extra 50 meters. It is recommended to rent them inside. There are also more machines at 20 yuan each.

The entire museum has three floors and a total of 12 exhibition halls. I think the most essential exhibition halls are gathered on the first and second floors, with more on the first floor. Here I will introduce the general situation of my favorite exhibition halls.

Hall 1 is divided into five parts, which should be the largest exhibition hall. It mainly tells the history and development process of the Grand Canal, some cultural relics exhibitions in the areas along the Grand Canal, the social role of the Grand Canal from ancient times to the present, and the economy of the Grand Canal. Culture, etc., I think the most amazing thing is the fifth part: 5G+VR, 720° view of the Grand Canal. Standing in the middle of the exhibition hall, you can fully and truly experience the development of the Grand Canal from ancient times to the present. However, this place is not large to watch the movie. Generally, many people gather here. If it is not a holiday, the movie viewing effect should be better.

Hall 2 mainly displays models of building ships, trough ships, cargo ships, passenger ships, etc. from the Spring and Autumn Period to modern times. You can experience the hull of a sand spacecraft on the second floor. The ship felt a little swaying. The scene on both sides of the strait during ancient driving was played through the screen outside the window. The most amazing thing was the snow scenery at the stern. Standing at the stern made people feel as if they were really standing on a real boat.

The most amazing one is Hall 3. As soon as you enter the door, you feel like you are in an ancient town. This exhibition hall mainly truly restores the urban conditions of the Tang, Song, Yuan, and Qing Dynasties through lighting and buildings. There are many streets and shops, as well as archways, pawnshops and other buildings. At the end of Hall 3, you can also see the alternation of day and night and feel the changes in the town at 12 hours a day. Hall 3 is my favorite hall.

Hall 4 should be the smallest exhibition hall. It introduces foreign canals, with some models, wall-mounted text introductions, and some famous paintings. Hall 4 is actually ordinary. If you are not interested in foreign canals, you should be able to walk in 5 minutes. However, if you want to understand the situation of foreign canals, you can come here and have a look, and it won't take much time.

Hall 6 is suitable for bringing children to the wetland. This hall talks about exploring the fun of canal wetlands. There are also some small animal displays inside. Maybe children are more interested in it.

When you are tired from shopping, you can also go to the rooftop garden to rest. It is very empty and you can see the scenery around the museum. There is also the fact that the Universiade Tower cannot be entered, so you can only walk around the periphery. I originally wanted to climb to the top of the tower to take photos, but when I walked to the door, I found that it was closed. It is recommended that the duration of the visit to the Grand Canal Museum be more than 3 hours, and it may be longer if you bring children. We left the museum at 11:23. When we left, there weren't many people queuing outside. Due to the flight, we couldn't visit all the exhibition hall. It was a pity.

After leaving the museum, we set off for Taizhou International Airport and prepared to fly to Shenzhen Airport, thus ending our trip to Yangzhou.
