The word "Zhaoguan" is engraved on the east and west sides of the Shitataji, so it is called "Zhaoguan Stone Pagoda". Some people also call it Guanyin Cave Lama Pagoda or Bottle Pagoda.

You can't go to too many places on a one-day trip to Zhenjiang. If you choose these two scenic spots, they should be more representative.

At around 4 p.m., I drove for half an hour and checked into a hotel in Yangzhou.

Knowing that it was Qingming Festival and there would be a lot of people, I parked my car at the hotel.

I called a car to the scenic area and called at 8:30 in the morning... It took half an hour to shout and more than 30 people lined up before they could get a bus.

I arrived at the south gate before 9 a.m., and there was a traffic jam for more than 500 meters, so I was forced to get off the bus and walk to the scenic spot.

During holidays, the most suitable place to come to Slender West Lake is to share bicycles or walk.

Compared with the West Lake, which is moist with pearls and jade, the essence of Slender West Lake lies in its word "thin". Since its main part was originally a moat in the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was not until the Ming and Qing Dynasties that it was connected into a lake, so the lake surface is sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, and the trees on both sides are sparse.

The beauty of Slender West Lake lies in the fact that flowers, willows, pavilions and bridges complement each other. There are pavilions among the flowers and plants, and pavilions among the trees, complementing each other.

In 1988, it was listed as an established tourist attraction as a "National Key Scenic Area".

Tickets to Slender West Lake cost 100 yuan, and cruise ships and battery cars are charged separately.

Although the price is high and people follow the crowd during the holidays, it is still worth it.

Recommended tour routes:

There are a total of 4 gates in the park. There are You1 buses outside the North Gate, West Gate and East Gate.

It is recommended to enter from the south gate and walk the red route, which takes about 1-2 hours.

This part belongs to the South Park, and the key landscapes are concentrated in this area.

After walking to Bridge 24, you can choose to take a cruise ship to the North Gate.

Most of the area on the Blue Line is botanical gardens, with few pavilions, and you can see different scenery through cruise ships.

After exiting the north gate, you will be opposite Daming Temple. If you still have the strength, you can visit it.

The entire park takes 3-4 hours on foot.

Holiday Season TIPS：

It's best not to drive or take a bus and block it at the last few stops. My friend left at 10 o'clock, and the bus was blocked at the last two stops for nearly 40 minutes, so he couldn't get off the bus. It is recommended to take a bus nearby and come by a battery car or on foot.

One-way route tours are implemented in the park during the peak season, and viewing will be discounted. It is best to avoid holidays.

You 1 bus at the north gate in the peak season can still get on the bus despite being crowded. When you drive to the east gate, you can jump directly and no one can get on the bus because you can't get on...

I have swept more than 10 battery cars, but all of them have low battery power and can only run 2-5 kilometers. I suggest staying in a hotel near the garden during the peak season.

I didn't ask about the cost of the cruise ship because there were too many people in line for the cruise ship.

The shrimp wontons may be packed, but when eaten at the airport, the taste is very poor.

Regrets for this trip

The three attractions that I didn't visit were He Yuan, Daming Temple and Han Guangling King's Tomb Museum.

He Garden, which is a masterpiece of garden architecture in the late Qing Dynasty, is known as the "First Garden in the late Qing Dynasty". Recent film and television dramas such as "Dream of the Red Chamber" and the sequel to "Princess of the Pearl" have been filmed here. I really didn't have enough time to go.

Daming Temple is located to the north of Slender West Lake, where you can see its towering Spirit Pagoda. The fame of Daming Temple stems from Master Jianzhen. Jianzhen, who traveled east to Japan, was the abbot of Daming Temple before setting off. The Dengqi Pagoda could see Slender West Lake from the perspective of God.

The King's Tomb Museum of Guangling of the Han Dynasty is the tomb of Liu Xu, the first generation of Guangling King of the Western Han Dynasty. It is an imperial "Yellow Chang Tipu" wooden coffin tomb and has a history of more than 2,000 years. When you come here, you will know what the royal treatment of "yellow sausage questions" is.
