"The spring breeze is green on the south bank of the Yangtze River, and the fireworks fall under Yangzhou in March." Since ancient times, it has been said that Yangzhou is the best and charming in March. The consequences of visiting this year are really worthy of their reputation. Yangzhou was called Guangling in ancient times and enjoyed the "No. 1 Canal in China." The reputation of the city "is particularly rich in ancient customs. I remember that at that time, the price for buying a ticket was less than 1000 yuan, which was about 700 to 800 yuan. It was off-season and the price was good. I originally planned to sign up for a tour, because there are many scenic spots in Yangzhou, and I was worried that I might not see them all. But later, a friend who works in Yangzhou heard that I was coming and wanted to be a tour guide for us. That was of course an excellent thing! So under his leadership, the journey began!

DAY1 Slender West Lake

Now it is included in the list of World Cultural Heritage. The local area has a subtropical monsoon climate. When I went there in March, the weather was not very warm. If I wanted to come at this time, I would still pay attention to keeping warm. Slender West Lake is a relatively wide river course outside Yangzhou, somewhat similar to a moat. I got on the boat and floated on the lake. From time to time, I would see a few young ladies and brothers dressed in ancient costumes. At that time, I really felt like I wanted to wear ancient costumes, which was really suitable for this scenery. Standing by the pavilion and looking into the distance, I can see all kinds of poetry and painting in my eyes.

Day2 Geyuan

In fact, this is a private garden. It was a garden in the Yangzhou salt merchants 'mansion in the Qing Dynasty. Compared with the owner here in ancient times, he would definitely be as rich as the world. The garden is mainly famous for being planted full of green bamboos everywhere. It is famous for its rockery in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It covers an area of 24000 square meters. I remember an ancient poem describing it as "the pool in the garden is quiet, the water and trees are clear, and thousands of bamboo poles are planted, so it is called Geyuan." This is perhaps the most complete and detailed description of Geyuan. What impressed me the most is the "Four Seasons Rockery". The four exquisite rockery areas are named after spring, summer, autumn and winter respectively. Yiyuxuan is the center, separating the four seasons and walking along the road. The scenery of the four seasons is panoramic. This may be a true portrayal of "going through spring, summer, autumn and winter"! I really admire the ingenious, unique and exquisite workmanship of the ancients!

DAY3 Dongguan Street Historical District

It is the most representative historical street in Yangzhou, where many people filming costume dramas will shoot. If I were asked to visit by myself, I might not have discovered this treasure place at all. Fortunately, I have friends with me! Along the Ancient Canal River, we went shopping in the mall in the morning and came here in the afternoon. At night, it was brightly lit and the tower was brightly lit. It was an old historical street with a total length of more than 1000 meters. There are also many shops around, with everything to eat, drink and play, many of which are local specialties.
