Dongguan Street is located in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is the most representative historical old street in Yangzhou City. The Huaju Street next to Geyuan has been renovated and will soon open. Through the newly restored buildings in Huaju Street, you can be plugged into Dongguan Street. This is the longest street I have ever seen. Most of the buildings along the street have been renovated and rebuilt. Behind them are existing residential buildings. Just like Dazhalan in Beijing, the corridors are very narrow, and in some places only one person can pass. The rooms in the courtyard are next to the rooms. During the Qing Dynasty, Yangzhou salt merchants, one of the four major salt merchants in China, even regarded Dongguan Street as their first choice to live. Dongguan Street has a relatively complete Ming and Qing architectural complex and a "fishbone" street system, maintaining and inheriting the traditional features of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are more than 50 important historical relics such as former residences of celebrities, salt merchant mansions, temple gardens, ancient trees and wells in the street. This diverse and vibrant "river (canal), city (gate), street (Dongguan Street)" The spatial pattern reflects the unique charm of Jiangnan Canal City, which shows the long historical relics and rich cultural heritage of Dongguan Street.

Looking back, I can see the old craftsmen sitting quietly on the roadside, some dough kneading people, some autumn weaving insects, and some sugar blowing people. Even time cannot steal their calmness, as if they are holding something in their hands. That old time that cannot be returned...

Dongguan Street is also a must-see place for foreign tourists who want to taste Yangzhou snacks. Most of Yangzhou's snacks are concentrated on this street. You can eat all over Yangzhou on one street.

Another old street adjacent to Dongguan Street is called Dongquanmen. Now the two streets are also known as Shuangdong Historical District and have become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Yangzhou. The night view here is also very beautiful.
