The ancients said,"Fireworks go to Yangzhou in March". Nowadays, people can go to Yangzhou for a few months, mainly depending on personal time. The March mentioned by the ancients is March in the lunar calendar, which is around the end of April. Generally, people who go to work at this time, go to school, how can they have time to go to work and go to school? We can only leave no matter how many months you want. May Day and National Day are not recommended for everyone to travel. There are people, people, and people everywhere. The ancient city of Yangzhou has been built for more than 2500 years. It was called "Yangzhou" in ancient times and was later renamed "Yangzhou" and has been passed down to this day. Yangzhou has many other nicknames, such as Guangling, Jiangdu, etc.; it is also a world heritage city and a national historical and cultural city.

Let me share this family's travel itinerary with you, hoping to provide some reference for friends who want to go to Yangzhou, or you can follow the road and try to avoid walking in pits.

Our family of three is from Heilongjiang in Northeast China, which is the northernmost part of the motherland. Because it is located in the north, it is not cheap to travel anywhere in the south, but the air tickets here are particularly friendly to Yangzhou. It seems that all air tickets across the country take great care of this ancient city.

the first day

Starting from a small city in Northeast China to Harbin to catch a night flight (not to see the night view ~ the night ticket price is very attractive).

④ Arrive at Harbin Railway Station, the largest in Northeast China, at 14:30 on the same day, walk for 10 minutes, and follow the signs to find the airport bus stop. Harbin Railway Station to Harbin Taiping International Airport (the bus ticket price is 10 yuan, no discount for children).

④ 15:00 Take the airport bus from Harbin Station and arrive at Harbin Taiping Airport at 17:00 (remind everyone not to have excess baggage checked in)

④ The plane takes off at 19:50 (Because it was already after 22 p.m. when we arrived at Taizhou Airport, there was no bus after landing and we had to take a taxi to the hotel. We need to contact the scheduled pick-up driver before taking off. I have booked a special car to pick up the plane in advance. It's better to be safe when going out and out, but it's not good for a family of three to stay at the airport overnight in the middle of the night).

④ Arrived at Yangzhou Taizhou Airport at 22:20 (pick up checked baggage and contact the pick-up master), and checked into Wenchang Pavilion Hotel at Orange Crystal Dongguan Street at 23:30.

the next day

Get up early today to start my trip to Jiangnan

Get up at 7 o'clock in the morning, wash up and leave at 8 o'clock to have local morning tea at Fuchun Tea House next to the hotel. (You can have one crab yellow soup bun for each person, three Ding buns, shepherd's purse buns, and boiled vermicelli dumplings.)

Morning Daming Temple Slender West Lake (The two places are just one stop away from each other.) There is a calligraphy exhibition by Su Dongpo and Ouyang Xiu in Daming Temple. The former residence of Prefect Xuanyu is very large. Several small gardens can be strolled from left to right. Don't mess around. There are fish and mandarin ducks in the pond that are very photogenic. Slender West Lake is very large. If you are in a hurry, you can take a battery car in the scenic area to reach the vicinity of Bridge 24. Most of the beautiful attractions are concentrated here. Time is rich. It is also recommended that you can see the scenery of the entire garden by walking.

I originally planned to go to Geyuan after I got out (I was so tired that I took a taxi directly back to the hotel (the online taxi booking here is very convenient, so if you don't want to walk, just book a taxi directly).

Note: You can burn incense in Daming Temple. Remember to bring some change to put it in the merit box. There are also many open bracelets here.

After taking a break in the afternoon, we will depart for Dongguan Street (various snacks) in the evening. Dongguan Street is a very ancient pedestrian street (with various snacks), similar to Nanluogu Lane in Beijing. It ends at the Dongmen Ruins and the Ancient Pier Grand Canal (you can take a boat to tour the canal at night), take photos, eat, check in and go back to the hotel to take a bath and rest.

the third day

Grand Canal Museum (free admission, advance reservation is required), the museum comes out of Sanwan Park, which can be arranged according to one day. Go to Pishi Street in the evening and see the famous Internet celebrity street. There are very delicious sugar water shops here. Don't miss them. It's worth waiting in line.

the fourth day

In the morning, we have morning tea next to the hotel, take a bus online to Heyuan (the first garden in the late Qing Dynasty), and go to the noodle restaurant opposite the hotel for dinner (try the local small restaurant with local flavor). After dinner, we go back to the hotel to pack up and check out and go to the railway station. The second stop is Nanjing. The 50-minute train from Yangzhou to Nanjing is 37.5 (half price for children).

In the afternoon, go to Nanjing to stay at a B & B near Xinjiekou. After check-in, you will have a short rest, and then start your tour of Nanjing. The first stop is to check in Jiangnan Gongyuan, Confucius Temple, and Qinhuai River Scenic Area. Then go to Laodongmen Pedestrian Street to eat the famous duck blood vermicelli and beef patties. Go back to the B & B to rest in the evening.

Because the family still liked to stay in hotels and were not used to B & Bs, they checked out early in the morning, changed to a new hotel, chose Fenghuangtai Hotel to check in, and then went to Zhongshan Scenic Area (Ming Xiaoling-Meiling Palace-Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum-Music Station), originally scheduled to go to Nanjing Museum, but in the end, they were too tired to do it.

④ When you come out of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, you can go to the music stage next to you to feed the pigeons. After you come out, you can make a scenic area battery cart to the Meiling Palace. When you come out, you will find the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum diagonally opposite you. It is very big and requires walking slowly. There are ancient buildings and VR experience halls, as well as lotus flowers and cafes.

◆ There is a scenic area battery car at the entrance of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. 10 yuan per person is responsible for delivering it to the gate near the subway station. It takes a 5-minute walk to the Alfalfa Garden subway station. You can go back to your place or go to other attractions from here.

◆ Go to the Qinhuai Scenic Belt of Confucius Temple at night. There are the famous Jiangnan Gongyuan and various specialty snacks, giving people the feeling of walking through the ancient city. The night view is very good. I recommend taking a cruise at night.

At ten o'clock in the evening, I took a car online and returned to the hotel to take a bath and sleep.

Day 6: Ancient Jiming Temple-Ancient City Wall-Xinjiekou-1912 Block

◆ Get up at 7 a.m., leave at 8 a.m. and take an online taxi to Jiming Temple. You can also take Metro Line 3 to Jiming Temple Station. Exit 1. After you come out, walk for about five minutes to Jiming Temple. At the door are the super popular Jiming Cicha and Jiming Vegetarian Tea. The tea costs 20 a cup, roasted wheat, 6 yuan for four. Jiming Temple's ticket sales are divided into Alipay window and cash window. The recommended cash window allows you to hold a paper ticket as a souvenir. After exiting Jiming Temple, we went to the ancient city wall. Because we were too tired, we walked for 15 minutes and got down. At noon, we booked a taxi online to Xinjiekou and went shopping and eating. After a hard day, I went back to the hotel to rest. In the evening, I took Xiao Gongju and her mother to the 1912 block to visit the night view of the Republic of China. Don't miss it when it's very exciting.

Day 7:

Nanjing Museum (free and advance reservation is required) is located at the southern foot of Zijin Mountain and the north side of Zhongshanmen. Here, you can see ancient cultural relics such as gold silk clothes in "Tomb Robbing Notes", appreciate the art of calligraphy and painting, and even walk around the old streets of the Republic of China and take a journey through it; but the Republic of China Museum was not open on the day I went. It's a pity.

Day 8:

Niushou Mountain Scenic Area (the most people are at ten o'clock in the morning in four hours, and the subway is needed to transfer buses). Because it got up too early in the morning and the small public event was still confused, I chose to take a car online, which cost a total of 45 yuan. When you arrive at Niushou Mountain, you need to take a scenic bus to the mountain for 10 yuan per person (you can choose to walk up it for special forces tourism). Just go up to the third floor of the tower on the mountain to have a look. Not only does it take time to climb to the top floor, the key is that you are approaching the top floor. There is a high probability that you will see "top-level maintenance tourists stop". Foding Palace is very imposing. It is necessary to check in and taking photos is very exciting. If you have time and physical strength allows, I recommend visiting surrounding attractions, which are also very good. On the return journey, buses are commuted to subway. There are very few buses in Nanjing and all of them are air-conditioned.

◆ It is recommended to bring water. There are places to buy water but the price is very expensive. There are also places to eat mainly vegetarian food and the taste is OK. There is KFC but there are many people.

Day 9:

Get up in the morning, go nearby for morning tea, then take an online taxi to the Presidential Palace, go out from behind the Presidential Palace at noon and stroll around the 1912 block and have lunch. After dinner, take a taxi back to the hotel to check out, and take the subway to Nanjing Airport to return home!
