Every year when the flowers bloom, I plan to go to Yangzhou. Every year, I miss the cherry blossom season. This year, it was finally implemented and I took my family to Yangzhou for a happy weekend. Share my lazy people's comfortable Yangzhou playways.

DAY 1

Shanghai will depart Yangzhou at 9:00 a.m. on April 1 and arrive at Hampton Inn Yangzhou East High-Speed Railway at 12:30 noon. The journey takes 3 and a half hours. March and April are both peak seasons in Yangzhou, and prices for hotels with better quality are around 1000 yuan. The main reason why I chose Hilton was to stay clean and relaxing with my family. The hotel took the initiative to upgrade the room in a high-rise building with a beautiful environment; it was extremely quiet and there was also dining around.

Arrived at the Yangzhou Hilton at noon and took a short rest. There was a skewer nearby, so we went to Chengdu skewer. Lunch leaves for Geyuan at 2:00. We parked the car at the hotel and took a taxi. It is recommended to take a taxi. Parking near Geyuan is difficult and it takes time to find a parking place. Geyuan is a very beautiful garden full of books. The flowers in early spring are in full bloom, competing for fragrance and beauty, which is pleasing to the eye. A special feature of the Geyuan is that there are patches of bamboo forest for everyone to enjoy. The study room in the garden is hidden behind a rockery. Ancient literati studied here, which reminds people of elegance: the book mountain has frequent roads.

After visiting Geyuan, we were recommended by our local friends in Yangzhou, so we went to the Garden Tea House (Huanggong Lane Store) and ordered a table full of Yangzhou snacks. Yangzhou steamed dumplings, flower cakes, and wontons are particularly recommended, which are extremely cost-effective.

DAY 2

Day 2: Yangzhou Slender West Lake

We got up at 8:00 and had breakfast at the hotel at 9:00. We drove to Cuxi Lake and parked our car to find a place near Cuxi Lake Rainbow Collection. Parking was free and there was a parking space. Five minutes walk to the entrance of Sou West Lake. It is recommended to book tickets one day in advance. Tickets are free for 70-year-olds and children under 1.4 meters.

The scenery of Slender West Lake is really beautiful. It is full of beautiful gardens, there are swans by the lake, purple flowers on the grass are covered under the woods, like a big purple carpet, and the Bonsai Museum is in various shapes that attract people to forget to forget.

Stroll by the lake,

Sit on a chair and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Walk to Pavilion 24 and take a tour bus back to the South Gate.

At 2:30 p.m., leave the park. A ten-minute walk to eat Pingshantang (Yechun) and ate authentic Yangzhou fried rice, sweet and sour pork ribs, and fish ball soup. The restaurant has an elegant environment, and you can enjoy the green West Lake view outside the glass.

Return to Shanghai at 5:00, rest at the station and have dinner on the way, and arrive in Shanghai at 9:00. A happy end to my weekend trip to Yangzhou!
