There is a small pavilion built on the edge of the platform. In the pavilion stands a stone tablet engraved with the three characters "Imperial Horse Head". It is obviously a dock for boarding boats, why do you write "Imperial Horse Head"?

It turns out that this Tianning Temple is not ordinary. It is a historic site built in the Jin Dynasty. It was also used as a palace for emperors during the Kang and Qian Dynasties of the Qing Dynasty. It can be said to be a state guesthouse at that time. It was from here that the two emperors of the Kang and Qian Dynasties traveled south to Yangzhou.

It is said that although Qianlong was a Manchu, he was passionate about Han culture. He learned everything in poetry, calligraphy and painting. Someone has done statistics that he wrote more than 40,000 poems in his life, and he liked to inscribe inscriptions. He left ink everywhere he went. Now that we travel, we can see his inscriptions and inscriptions in many scenic spots.

He was the one who wrote the three words "Royal Horse Head" here. After writing it, he also found that he had written it incorrectly, which made him a little embarrassed. However, flattery has been a necessary skill for officials since ancient times. Someone accompanying him came out to mediate the matter. He said that the writing was so good, so wonderful! It is said that the "stone" next to the code word is a stumbling block and must be removed! The emperor's writing "Imperial Horse Head" is simply too sage!

Qianlong was very happy after hearing this and wrote another poem: "The small boat is painted with light beams along the stream, the bell chimes in the deer garden have the lingering sound, and the area in front of the door is Hangou water, which often reflects the love of the past."
