From my circle of friends, I saw that others were taking their children to experience tea picking. They looked cute with a small basket and a headscarf on their backs. I thought about taking my children to have fun. When I asked about it, it was Nashan Geopark, not far from Yangzhou. So, I took advantage of the rest day to drive by myself and play.

It took about an hour to drive to our destination. After purchasing the ticket, the staff issued us a basket apron and a headscarf. After putting them on, they took us to the tea field and told us how to pick tea, reminding us that we can go to the tea making workshop after picking tea. Take a look at the tea-making process. The tea you pick can replace a small tea bag.

When I went to the tea field, I met a team of students picking tea inside, so I had a good time to explain it. According to the tour guide, Nashan Geopark is an ancient shield-shaped volcano formed by volcanic eruptions over 10 million years. Nashan camellia trees are rooted in fertile volcanic ash soil. In the volcanic ash soil, volcanic ash is rich in a variety of trace elements beneficial to human health, so it is known as "volcanic tea". Moreover, Nashan tea does not spray germinating hormones, and the tea quality is excellent.

Taking photos while picking tea (the focus is taking photos). When it was almost time, we went to the tea making workshop. Someone was frying tea by hand. After watching for a while, the staff reminded us that the boiler temperature reached 180°, so don't get close to it to prevent burns. I am sorry that it is not easy to fry tea.

Fortunately, we were ready to enter the park after we were equipped, because the staff introduced that Nashan Mountain is six kilometers long and it takes two to three hours to walk. Considering that it was too tiring to climb the mountain with children, we chose to take a car.

Nashan is divided into east and west lines. The East Line Museum has an immersive science film, which is said to be very shocking. Because the broadcast time is close to 11 o'clock, we took the bus directly to the museum. This immersive experience hall uses holographic images and laser projection technology that combines sound, light and electricity. The 720-degree fully immersive experience allows people to "experience" the explosion of the universe and the evolution of the earth, especially the spectacular scene where volcanic eruptions directly form the Nashan basalt stone pillars. My son shouted excitedly, especially when the dinosaurs came out, he was so excited.

After watching the movie, we had a brief meal in the museum restaurant and continued to tour. While waiting for the car to pick it up, we also enjoyed the scenery of the large stone pillars. The large stone pillars here are geometric basalt stone pillars formed when basalt magma cools rapidly during volcanic eruption.

After the bus arrived, we went directly to the Bangshipo on the western line and got off. The stone pillars here were more distinctive. Just like their name, they were tied together like sleepers. Standing under the stone pillars and seeing these naturally formed various stone pillars, I couldn't help but sigh with the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature.

Walking upward along the balashipo you will reach the Guolao River. There is a cable bridge and waterfall here. It is said that it was named because Zhang Guolao rested here. Tourists on both sides walked on the cable bridge, and some people deliberately shook it and looked at it. It is also interesting to see how everyone is happy or scared.

Overall, this was a pleasant trip. I not only appreciated the scenery of Nashan, but also learned about volcanic relics and other knowledge through the museum's popular science films and introductions to various points. Look, there are also barbecue camping places on the route, so come back for a barbecue if you have the opportunity.
