In recent years, with the popularity of museums and bookstores, a large number of Internet celebrity museums, libraries and bookstores have emerged. However, if you come to Yangzhou and don't book the newly opened Grand Canal Museum in advance, it will be difficult to book.

Arriving at the Grand Canal Museum before 8 a.m., tourists had lined up hundreds of meters outside the Boat Museum, and this was the case every morning. A friend who was traveling with him wanted to visit again after visiting, but all bookings for the next five days were booked.

What is the charm of the Grand Canal Museum?

Not long after the Grand Canal Museum opened, it was already fully booked with tourists and became an Internet celebrity. My first feeling is that this is the highest-tech, most immersive experience, most interactive, most ancient, most second-dimensional, most diverse and most international museum. Not only in China, it is more cool than I have ever seen. Among the more than 50 countries I have visited, I have never seen a museum cooler than the Grand Canal Museum.

In fact, from the perspective of collections, although there are more than 10,000 exhibits, they are not outstanding, but their design sense is too good and it brings together the most popular elements nowadays. For example, in the exhibition hall on the first floor, tourists enter the ancient neighborhood from the "stern". It is completely ancient buildings, with small bridges and running water, and fish are wandering in the running water. Above the ancient alley is a ceiling LED screen similar to the one at the Venetian Macau Hotel that imitates the sky. However, it is obviously more high-tech here, with the changes from night to day and the four seasons. In addition, the ancient street paved with blue stone slabs and the wooden second-floor building on both sides gives people an immersive feeling, as if walking on the ancient street.

In the past, museums looked at cultural relics through glass, which would be of great interest to experts or enthusiasts. But this immersive experience, which seems to have traveled back to ancient times, makes ordinary people yearn for the glory of history and make it easier to accept.

In addition to personally experiencing the movie version of the scene streets, there are also various digital immersive experience exhibitions and multiple panoramic exhibition halls, among which "Love of the River" is the highlight. The colorful colors on the ring screen, petals on the ground, and fish wandering in the water. From the roof to the ground, to the surrounding areas, there are all naked-eye technology composed of LED screens. Being in it is a wonderful visual feast.

In terms of exhibits, as soon as Hall 1 entered, a huge cross-section of Kaifeng's six-story underground city was displayed in front of you. It was 35.7 meters long and 8 meters high, making it an imposing manner. Kaifeng City Tokyo, a country in the Song Dynasty, was the most prosperous era in Chinese history. Kaifeng City was flooded by the Yellow River burst many times in history, so the cities of one dynasty next to another were pressed down layer after layer. Therefore, when traveling to Kaifeng, local people all said that our history is not on the ground, but underground.

Among them, there is also an exhibition hall with a giant scroll. Many unfamiliar people exclaimed as soon as they entered the building. In fact, it was not the "Epic Picture of the Grand Canal". It was 135 meters long and 3 meters high. It was jointly completed by 15 top painters and painters in Jiangsu Province. The painting depicts the epic grandeur along the Grand Canal.

In the 11 independent exhibition halls, you can learn about the past and present life of the canal, and appreciate the wisdom of the canal's water conservancy, boat style, salt power of water transportation, trade and commerce, opera art, folk beliefs, food and customs, market life, and the natural state along the river.

Canal construction began as early as the Spring and Autumn Period of the Wu State. Of course, the most famous one in its history was Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty, and the last exhibition hall was Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty and Yangzhou. He was a controversial emperor in history. On the one hand, he was synonymous with arbitrary taxes and taxes, and on the other hand, he dug the Grand Canal to create a lasting legacy. Perhaps, too extreme, many things often present two aspects, and contradictions and opposites become more prominent.

If you experience it carefully, you will definitely not be able to finish it in one day. In addition to the 11 key halls, there are also interesting interactive experiences such as "Escape Room","Archaeology Institute","Small Theater", and "Tea House". You can also go to the outdoor garden on the top floor to browse. These are also considered a combination of current hot spots. In fact, there has been a lot of discussion about whether the museum is multi-functional or more unitary, but I think that as long as more people can experience and understand it in depth, it will be a bad thing.

Because I spent a long time watching it, I stayed until I got off work and didn't have time to go for a cup of coffee. You should know that one of the characteristics of many museums is a cafe. After I came out, I thought that museums are all free. Such a large free venue has high investment. It would be a pity if the catering industry would not be profitable. However, it is said that it is under construction and Yechun has already settled in underground. There is also an introduction on the Internet that in the future, a dock will be built next to the museum. Visitors can take a boat to the south to Guazhou along the Yangtze River, and to the north to Dongguan Street Pier, Tianning Temple Pier, etc., cruising like Kangxi and Qianlong. It sounds very attractive. This year is the centenary of the founding of the Party. The great achievements of the motherland are gratifying. It is also due to the efforts of these conditions that people can see today's magnificent and great museum. When visiting, my heart was full of pride and I didn't know if others had the same idea.

The Grand Canal Museum is located in Sanwan Park, which is also a super huge free park. Sometimes I think Yangzhou people are really happy to have so many good things guarding. Next to the museum, there is also a red bridge on the Internet. Don't forget to check in when you come here. It is said that Yangzhou is now one of the most popular online celebrity cities in China. There is really a reason for being popular.
