I originally thought of going to Fuchun Tea House, but in the end I went to "Quyuan". This may be the fun of traveling. Even if you make the guide in advance and read other people's comments, you will still follow your own pace when choosing. The hotel I stayed in was near Xuningmen Bridge. Because I had gone to Dongguan Street the night before, I got up a little late the next day. I didn't leave until around 10 o'clock when I packed up. It only took me more than 10-20 minutes to get to Quyuan by taxi. At that time, I was worried that business would be closed before 12 o'clock. As a result, I saw many people queuing up for meals, so I felt much more relieved (what a pity if I couldn't get authentic morning tea when I came to Yangzhou!)
You don't need to worry about boredom at all when queuing up for dinner in Quyuan, because not only does it provide guests with tables and chairs to rest on, but the scenery around it is also quite good. It's really comfortable to chat with friends and take photos. After a while, the service staff started calling my number. Because I was dining alone, a small table was arranged. Maybe I like to eat soy food, anyway, love. As for the thousand-layer oil cake and emerald roasted cakes known as the "Yangzhou Double Juice", I must definitely taste them well. I also carefully counted how many layers of the thousand-layer oil cake there are. Before I could finish counting, I couldn't wait to take a bite. In front of delicious food, my patience has long been exhausted. Personally, I think that emerald roasted cakes are better than pine nut roasted cakes. As for what the dishes are wrapped in, I have never tasted them. Are they green vegetables only available in Yangzhou?
I am still quite interested in steamed buns because there is meat in them. But in Yangzhou, steamed buns are not just steamed buns. Every bite is like opening a blind box. You never know what the next bite will taste like. Because in addition to pork, there are also seasonal ingredients such as mushrooms and shrimp.
Finally, I wanted to praise this Jingang navel Soaked Beijing Fruit Powder. I thought it would be a mushy lotus root starch type dessert.
