9.30 In the evening, the train from Shanghai West Railway Station to Zhangjiajie started another self-service journey with two young donkeys. Although the train was more than three hours late, the two little donkeys were really excited about the journey they had been looking forward to for half a year.
I have long heard that there were crowds of passengers at the entrance of Zhangjiajie Railway Station. I got off the train at 11 p.m. and left the station. There were three or four floors of people standing on both sides of the stairs. Fortunately, the police maintained order, otherwise it would have been difficult for the two women to leave the station. I stayed in a small hotel at the train station for one night. After just five hours, I took a bus to the bus station with sleepy eyes, and then transferred to Zhangjiajie. When we arrived at the entrance of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, we were shocked by the towering stone peaks.
After listening to many opinions, we gave up the plan to visit Huangshi Village. During the next two days of our trip, we heard from other tourists that the scenery of Huangshi Village was not as good as the back garden. In the morning, we went up the mountain along the Jinbian River and listened to the introductions of other tour guides along the way, leisurely. Accompanied by the pattering light rain, walk in nature's natural oxygen bar and indulge in the charming mountains and rivers. Perhaps most people went to Huangshi Village, but there were not many tourists in Jinbian River, so the journey was quite smooth.
Walking to the back garden and the Ecstasy Terrace, the mountain peaks we had looked up at immediately appeared under our eyes. The rows of stone forest peaks were majestic. Each mountain peak had a different posture from a different perspective. The inspiration of imagination was like a spring, sighing with the magic craftsmanship of nature, coupled with the fog in the distance, it was as if you were in a fairyland. The scene in front of me is really worthy of being called "ecstasy".
There were many more tourists on the world's first bridge. The banisters on the side were covered with locks engraved with blessings. They filled their stomachs along the way and arrived at the farmhouse they had made an appointment in advance at noon. There are not many places to live in the mountains of Zhangjiajie, and the Golden Week is simply a house grab battle. In the evening, I shared a small attic with my donkey companion, an older sister from the farm and a tour guide. The most depressing thing was that after listening to other residents arguing with the boss at night, the older sister in the room actually talked on the phone for an hour in the middle of the night. Our trip to Zhangjiajie was shrouded in haze by Zhangjiajie people.
In the afternoon, I took an eco-friendly car to Yangjiajie and visited Wulong Village and Tianbo Prefecture. The three ghost gates of Wulong Village are indeed very distinctive and very thrilling. They are steep steps, sharp rocks above their heads, and gaps that can only be passed by the side... Yangjiajie made a rough turn, which took about two and a half hours.
I got up early the next day. It was very cold. I packed my bags and took an environmentally friendly car to the Daguantai, which was so-called difficult to find without a guide. When we came to Daguan Terrace alone and visited Xianren Bridge, Difficult Step and Divine Chicken pecking, we suddenly felt that courage was often something we had to give ourselves, and there was also something to persist... Two and a half hours later, when I took the eco-friendly car to Helong Park again, the fog was very thick and everything in the mountains became foggy. Yubi Peak and fairy scattered flowers are covered by thick fog. Occasionally, the fog dissipates, revealing clues. People on the platform cheered and quickly snapped. Tianzi Mountain in the fog is particularly enchanting, and the bare stone peaks are surrounded by small water droplets in the air. The original firmness is lost, as if lying quietly in the boundary. The journey down Tianzi Mountain is a bit hard, and the five steps up and down are very strenuous. Looking at the people climbing the mountain from Tianzi Mountain, they suddenly feel that coming in from Suoxi Valley is too exhausting. After going down the mountain and walking in the flat Shili Gallery, there are endless peaks in front of me, and large areas of plants like ears of wheat look very beautiful. After walking the Shili Gallery, it marked the end of the trip to Zhangjiajie. With my tired legs, I drove to the city by car and stayed at a hotel near the train station.
The two-day trip is very short, and some scenic spots can only pass by due to time. The trip to Zhangjiajie without a guide is also quite exciting. The karst landform of Zhangjiajie is indeed majestic and magnificent, but I can't say anything. I don't know how to use flat language to describe such a vivid and three-dimensional beauty of nature. However, the management of the scenic spot added some regrets to the journey. The weather for both days was a little cloudy. Coupled with some feelings for Zhangjiajie people, it was not biased to add the word gray to the title. Except for people, Zhangjiajie is very beautiful...
