My heart is still in the ancient city of Fenghuang, but I am already on the bus to Zhangjiajie. To be honest, I always felt that Zhangjiajie's status was very embarrassing at first. Although it was famous, it was famous as Jiuzhaigou in Huangshan Mountain. Secondly, I heard netizens returning from Zhangjiajie saying nothing but shouting about it, which made me have some doubts about Zhangjiajie. Based on the suggestions of netizens and friends from all walks of life, my friend and I are going to participate in a free travel tour at a local travel agency in Phoenix. We will decide the route we want to go, and other matters will be arranged by the free travel tour guide. This is the most worry-saving way. It's over.

Ø Considering that tourists participating in large groups cannot visit the entire scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, and the time arrangements for large groups are relatively tight, the places to go between groups are the same, which will only have the consequences of watching people. However, large groups have an advantage of having cars to follow them, which saves tourists the trouble of climbing mountains with their luggage. We need both freedom and reduction of hard work to discount the fun of travel. My friends and I chose free travel for individual passengers for three days, at ¥ 580/person, including transportation expenses from Phoenix to Zhangjiajie, all transportation expenses in Zhangjiajie, accommodation expenses, food expenses, tour guide fees, tickets and train tickets purchased on behalf of us to avoid handling fees. Compared with other tourists later, this method was better.

Ø The drive from Fenghuang Ancient City to Zhangjiajie is 4 hours, and the fare is ¥ 40 if you take the car yourself.

When we arrived at the bus station in Zhangjiajie City, we saw a small sign with our names written on it. It was our free travel guide who came to pick us up. Our tour guide is Li Quan, Tujia. He has 6 or 7 years of tour guide experience. If you can't carry your luggage, he can still help you carry it. We first checked our luggage at the bus station, and then took the bus to the gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park for dinner.

Ø Tickets for Zhangjiajie are ¥ 245/person, using fingerprint recognition technology, and are valid for entering and leaving the park within two days

Ø Because you have to climb a mountain when visiting Zhangjiajie, it is recommended to only carry two days 'change of clothes, camera, umbrella, kettle and necessary finances. It is a backpack to go up the mountain. Other luggage will be stored at the bus station and picked up when leaving.

After the meal, we each carried a small backpack lightly up the mountain. As soon as we arrived at the entrance of the National Forest Park, we felt that we had made the right trip. The air was very good, strange peaks were piled up, and the view was wide, which made us feel refreshed.

Ø Our route is to go up the mountain along the Jinbian River, stay in Yuanjiajie at night, visit Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area the next day, and visit Yangjiajie and other scenic spots for the last half of the day instead of Huangshi Village. I heard from hikers and netizens who have been to Huangshi Village that the reason why Huangshi Village is so famous is that it is a must-pass for travel agencies and is hyped up. However, the scenery is actually very ordinary, so even if you see the slogan "If you don't reach Huangshi Village, you can ignore it."

Walking along the Jinji River, the plants on both sides of the stone road are of great origin. Those rare plants that can only be seen in textbooks can not only see with my own eyes, but also touch them here. I can't name the national second-class protected plants such as Davidia chinensis, which makes my friend who studies biology excited. Although she also calls many of them but can't name them, fortunately, our tour guide Li Quan knows these treasures of Zhangjiajie like a family treasure. He can name all the plants and insects he sees and name them, which fully satisfies our thirst for knowledge and curiosity, haha! We played in the Jinyan River for a while. The famous baby fish lived in this stream. We had never seen a baby fish, but we were very clever when we saw a small fish with a gold thread on its body. Although the sun was fierce outside, and the courtyard was sheltered by dense shade of trees, I didn't feel the heat at all. I only felt that every pore was breathing oxygen, and everything I saw was different levels of green. I really had to put down my glasses and let my eyes rest well. There are fewer tourists on the way up the mountain, and occasionally we can meet tourists who travel freely like us. Listening to the chirping of cicadas, we can experience the reclurer artistic conception of Niaosing Mountain.

Listening to the tour guide introducing the mountains of Zhangjiajie, which combines the dangers of Huashan Mountain, the beauty of Emei, and the changes in the clouds and mist of Huangshan Mountain, each weird mountain peak has become an interesting legend with the guide's instructions and a little imagination. Tour guide Li Quan is also very good at telling stories. It is very enjoyable to hear from the three major mysteries of Zhangjiajie to General He Long. A century of wind and clouds has given birth to the charm of the phoenix. The vicissitudes of 38,000 years have created the strange peaks and mountains of Zhangjiajie. Each person has a geography. Similarly, they all maintain a reserved nature and will not easily untie your veil. You need to read it slowly.

At 7:00 p.m., we arrived at the bus station and took a sightseeing bus to a state-owned villa in Yuanjiajie. This is the residence of Zhangjiajie staff and security personnel. The room has a good environment, with a hot shower, and we can also dry clothes in the yard. There is a powerful police dog here, which makes us feel safe. I heard other tourists who have been to Zhangjiajie say that the food only has shredded radish of different colors. When we saw the food on the table with one meat, one vegetable and one soup at dinner, my friends and I shouted that it was a good deal. The food was just picked from the vegetable field and it was so fresh.

The next day, we visited many scenic spots that no travel agency would go to on its boutique routes. Daguan Terrace, which is difficult to travel in one step, Xianren Bridge, Shentang Bay, Diandian Terrace, Shenji Pecking Food, and Tianzizuo. It's really confusing that travel agencies don't go to such a good scenic spot. We combined walking with the sightseeing bus and weren't very tired. We also tasted the freshly picked Zhangjiajie pear, which was sweet and delicious. When we arrived at Shentang Bay, it began to rain lightly. I heard tour guide Li Quan say that when Shentang Bay thunders and lightning, it would sound like training soldiers and horses. People say that it was the Xiangtu emperor who committed suicide on Tianzi Mountain in ancient times who was training soldiers. Finally, science confirmed that it was here. The magnetic field is quite special.

Ø Shentang Bay is one of the three major mysteries in Zhangjiajie

Ø Tourist buses in Zhangjiajie no longer load passengers when they are full, and the cars of residents in the scenic area are separate from special tourist buses and are very standardized.

After returning to the villa to rest at noon, we went to the Sky and the Sky Corridor. These two scenic spots are even less visited, but the scenery is extraordinary. It is really like seeing all the mountains at a glance. Watching the fog gradually rise from the foot of the mountain, you will have a feeling that is not real. Every moment of Zhangjiajie in the clouds and mist after the rain is different. The dark clouds gradually disperse, and the sky blue sky is exposed again. The white clouds are plated on the golden edge by the afterglow of the sunset. In an instant, the white clouds and black clouds burn and the clouds simultaneously render the blue sky. This big canvas, which painter has the ability to paint such a beautiful scenery?

D3:

Observing the beautiful scenery also requires patience and opportunity. When we were at Yubi Peak in Ho Long Park, a Korean delegation poked its head out of the dense fog as soon as it left Yubi Peak, making us feel sorry for these guests who came from afar. Wulong Village and Tianbo Prefecture are two attractions that cannot be missed. Wulong Village is a bandit mountain village. Understanding the bandit culture in Xiangxi is a window to understand the chivalrous complex of Xiangxi people. The terrain of Wulong Village is steep, which is amazing that people at that time could find such a precious land. The smoke waves in Tianbo Prefecture are vast and make people have no regrets. When we went to watch the boat, we happened to meet a Japanese camera crew. They were surprised that we had gone to this scenic spot where no tourist groups came. Even the camera crew visited the scene, which proved that we were right. We were very lucky. During our three-day journey, we saw Zhangjiajie in the clear sky, Zhangjiajie in the drizzle, and Zhangjiajie in the fog. Unfortunately, the beautiful shots discovered by our eyes couldn't be captured, so we had to save them on our hard drive, haha.

I began to go down the mountain after noon, from overlooking the mountains to looking up at the peaks. The further I went down, the more surprised I was that I had climbed so many mountain roads. When we were going down the mountain, we were introduced by tour guide Li Quan. We also happened to meet an old tour guide who was filming movies with Korean stars. We were so lucky. I am leaving Zhangjiajie. I turn back three times and take a deep breath. I want to deeply engrave these beautiful scenery in my mind. I will miss the days of breathing the purest air and drinking cold spring water every day.

The tour guide took us to the bus station to pick up our luggage, and went straight to the train station to take the 4:00 train. It was time to bid farewell to the embrace of nature and return to another forest.

Ø Tour groups do not visit many classic attractions in Zhangjiajie, but these attractions have clear instructions and standardized security measures. As long as the instructions are not violated, there will be no danger.

Ø The weather in Zhangjiajie changes rapidly. Everyone should bring good rain gear and wear a pair of comfortable and non-slip shoes.

Travel Tips:

◎ I met many tourists along the way. After comparison, I felt that the trip was more rushed and tired with the large group of tourists. The most important thing was that I missed many classic attractions, which was a pity;

There is also a type of tourists who travel completely freely. They do not ask a guide to lead the way and only take a map. I don't think the full free travel method is very suitable for Zhangjiajie. Zhangjiajie is a forest after all and there are many bifurcated paths. Free travel tourists like to walk on inaccessible roads and can easily get lost. Moreover, being unfamiliar with the road conditions may prevent them from being able to arrive at their residence before dark. Moreover, you have to carry heavy luggage throughout the entire journey freely, making the journey like suffering.

Personally, I think the best way is to hire a tour guide for semi-free travel. Not only can you save the trouble of finding accommodation and routes, but your luggage can also be properly arranged. Most importantly, you can hear many local legends and stories, which may not be available even if you spend money. Get it!

◎ Generally speaking, finding a good tour guide is the key to a happy trip to Zhangjiajie. I recommend Li Quan's tour guide to everyone.

Tour Guide: Li Quan Tujia has been a tour guide for 6 years and has rich experience. He grew up in Zhangjiajie and knows the local customs, customs, stories and legends of Zhangjiajie like the back of his hand. He is also very familiar with many old local tour guides and is very responsible. The three-day tour of Zhangjiajie is ¥ 460/person, including Zhangjiajie tickets, food expenses, transportation expenses, tour guide fees, and you can also buy train tickets on your behalf.
