I went to Changsha for business at the end of February and took advantage of the weekend to travel to Zhangjiajie. I have read N travel notes online before, and then I have concluded the transportation methods from Changsha to Zhangjiajie in "Answer Questions". These useful information made my entire trip very smooth. Here, I will also write an article about my trip, hoping to help friends who will go to play in the future.
In fact, Ctrip's travel notes have accompanied me to play many places, but this is the first time I have brought up a pen to take photos. The main reason is that I don't have time, and I am a little lazy: )
1) Transportation mode
The entire highway has been opened from Changsha to Zhangjiajie. The entire journey takes only 4 hours, and the bus is very comfortable. Departs are from Changsha West Passenger Station and Zhangjiajie Bus Station, and depart every hour from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day. There is no need to buy tickets in advance, and I guess there is no need to buy them in advance: )
Ticket price: Changsha-Zhangjiajie 109 yuan
Zhangjiajie-Changsha 92 yuan
2) Accommodation
I took the bus to Zhangjiajie at 3 p.m. on February 24 (Friday), and it arrived at around 7 p.m. that night. On the first night, I stayed at the Noble Hotel on Huilong Road in the city. I booked 190 yuan through Ctrip (I later heard from the tour guide I hired that if I booked through him, it would only cost 160 yuan. I didn't know in advance. In the future, friends can try to find a hotel that is satisfactory through Ctrip first, and then inquire about the price through the tour guide to compare the method that is beneficial to them).
I think this hotel is very good. First, it has a good location. Huilong Road should be a very lively road in Zhangjiajie. The street is full of shops and banks (this is very important to me, because the China Merchants Bank system was shut down the next day, which made me withdraw money late that day), and it is not far from the bus station. I drove on this road by car and remembered that the hotel I booked was also here. After a while, I saw the hotel sign and asked the driver to stop and enter. Ctrip said that the hotel also provides free pick-up and bus services at the airport and train station. Second, the facilities in the room are quite tasteful, unlike three-star hotels in ordinary small counties. Third, there is a large Hunan restaurant "Xiangli Family" next door. I had dinner there and there was a very delicious earthen simmered mushroom soup. There is a breakfast stall for rice noodles in the small alley next door, and the taste is not bad. Fourth, local calls there cost 5 yuan per night. Because I had to contact the tour guide, it was still more cost-effective than a mobile phone. Later, I found that I could also call 17909, so I held the phone and chatted with my husband for a long time: ) So maybe I didn't receive any harassing calls from my online friends, and the night passed peacefully and dreamless.
3) Tour guide
Everyone will see wisdom, but if your situation is similar to mine, I suggest you hire one: 1) a woman on the road, 2) the time is tight, I only have two days, 3) I don't want to walk a little bit of a wrong road, but I also want to see more special attractions that tour groups don't visit.
The tour guide I hired is Peng Xin 13974426310, and he is still a good Tujia young man (Online friends said that the tour guide here always claims that he is Tujia, which is very fake. In fact, I later learned that 80% of Zhangjiajie's population is Tujia, so it should be nothing unusual: ). I saw that his answers to the questions I asked in "Answer Any Questions" were very pertinent, so I decided to invite him. It turned out that my choice was correct. He was very familiar with the attractions, took many photos for me along the way, and also helped me carry my backpack (this made him laugh to some other tour guides: (In fact, I don't understand, all the girls on the Internet said that they would trouble the tour guide to help with my backpack). Moreover, the young man also looks like a cultured person, so the communication is smooth.
If you hire a tour guide, it is recommended to participate in their two-day or three-day all-inclusive package (including food, accommodation, transportation, and large tickets) at 470 yuan, which should be cost-effective. I didn't attend, but after calculating, the ticket I paid, plus the cost of meals, accommodation, transportation and tour guide, exceeded that amount. And it will be easy for him to make arrangements if it is handed over to the tour guide. However, I think I still have to clearly express my requirements for the place of accommodation and the content of food: )
4) Trip
I met the tour guide in the hotel lobby at 8:00 a.m. on February 25 (Saturday), and then walked 5 minutes to the bus station and took the CMB to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (8 yuan).
The car takes about an hour to reach the park gate. After buying tickets (248 yuan), listening to the exquisite IC tickets, you have to check your fingerprints when you enter. I originally brought my graduate student ID card and wanted to fool me, but the ticket seller told me that there were only discount tickets for students in nine-year compulsory education: (
After entering, we walked along the tree-lined trees for a while and reached an open square. On the left, we went to Huangshi Village and in the middle.golden whip Creek, on the right, go to the newly developed Yaozi Village. We took the Jinbian River directly. There were many scenic spots along the way, and there were usually written explanations. However, there were too many mountains, and I still often couldn't find them. I still had to trouble the tour guide to show me clearly: ) There is a mountain road in the middle of the Jinbian River that you can climb. It takes more than an hour to go up the mountain directly to the back garden, but I don't think there is enough time, and I also want to concentrate my firepower on going to Yangjiajie in the afternoon, so I continued to walk the 15-mile Jinbian River.
Along the way, not only saw many monkeys, but also countless Koreans. I heard that Zhangjiajie and Seoul are tourist friendly cities, and 50% of Koreans have been to Zhangjiajie. The tour guide also told me how to judge whether a Korean woman is married and has children. If she has short curly hair, that is: ) Even if there are Koreans, stall vendors will not provoke Chinese people: )
Walking 15 miles was still very hard, so I came out and ate a delicious spicy tofu. arrivedWater surrounds the four doorsTake the shuttle busbailong ladderIt took more than 53 yuan and a minute to get to Yuanjiajie, and there was a car to Tianxia First Bridge Station. There are restaurants, family hostels, and it is quite lively.
I had lunch at First Bridge Restaurant. I wanted to have a buffet, but it wasn't because there was no one in the peak season, so I made a 30-yuan set meal with one meat, one vegetarian and one soup. The taste is okay. Later, dinner was eaten there to the same standard. Breakfast was rice noodles for 10 yuan. The accommodation was also in a nearby hostel owned by the restaurant owner. It was still clean but there was hot water, because the next day I heard some tourists living in Yangjiajie saying that there was no water there and they were very uncomfortable.
Because I decided to live near the First Bridge in the World at night, I took a bus there in the afternoon.yangjiajie, in case I don't have the car back too late, just go to see the famousSkywave Prefecture。It is a village owned by former bandits. It has to pass several checkpoints to enter and is very distinctive. There is a small hill at the end, and you can climb up the iron ladder on both hands and feet, but the scenery is really beautiful. You can see my favorite "ancient city wall" during this trip, which has a desolate and ancient charm. Climbing down and drinking a bowl of sweet wine at the gate of the village. It was so comfortable to blow in the mountain breeze. I returned the same way and bought myself a locally knitted apron near the station. Although I don't cook often, I still have to pretend to be a good wife occasionally: )
Then I took a bus back to Tianxia First Bridge Station to seeThe first bridge in the world, the Ecstasy Terrace, the back garden。There are many people near the world's No. 1 Bridge. In fact, there is nothing scary about this natural stone bridge built on a deep valley. However, when I look to the side, I still sigh at the power of nature. Next to the Ecstasy Platform is the Soul Collection Platform, which is said to want those confused people to come back quickly and recover their hearts. Because the sun was so good that day, I couldn't see the sea of clouds at all, but I heard from the staff at the Chizai Terrace that there were beautiful sea of clouds when it snowed the day before. Oh, I missed it. It is said that the location of the back garden is opposite Huangshi Village, so what you look over there is the front garden. There were some other small attractions along the way. I remember that there was a stall run by a Korean mother and daughter next to one of the attractions where the "Five Girls Go". It's amazing: )
It was late when I came back from the back garden, so I had dinner and rest.
The next day (Sunday, February 26), go for breakfast at 8 a.m. and take a bus around 8:30Shentangwan。There was no sun that day, and because the sky was very foggy and windy, the only two people who got off the bus were me and the tour guide. Walking down the stone steps along the roadside, the end is the place where you jump off the cliff towards the king. Surrounded by the mountains, you can imagine the tragic situation at that time. The explanation at the intersection of Shentangwan said that it was a mysterious canyon, and the tour guide also said that no one had gone down there. In the Ming Dynasty, some people died soon after they came back. I also heard that there was the screeching of war horses in a thunderstorm. Some said that the magnetic field here was very special, and others said that the shape of the valley here was very special. In short, I was very interested in this very mysterious thing: )
Go back to where you got off before, and walk forward for 3 to 5 minutes and you will go down the stone steps againdianjiangtai, the scenery is similar to Shentang Bay, but the scenery is open, but both are very dangerous. There, it really feels like the wind is blowing and the water is cold, and the strong man will never return when he leaves.
I heard that there used to be hotels in Shentang Bay, but they were later demolished due to planning. However, because the location is relatively remote and inconvenient, there are very few tourists. Along the way, you can also see many deserted street vendors. It is good to give tourists a pure natural environment, but these desolate ruins should not be left behind. Due to the gloomy weather that day, looking at several dilapidated black wood houses in the misty mountains in the cold wind, it really felt like taking pictures of Liaozhai: )
Then I took a ride and went toHelong Park, read itWest Seavarious attractions, and boardedTianzigeLooking around. There are many places to buy souvenirs under Tianzi Pavilion, most of which are similar to ordinary tourist attractions, but some things are still very special. There is a wood carving called "Sanbu Monkey", which depicts three monkeys covering their eyes, mouths and ears respectively, representing "not seeing, not saying, and not listening" respectively, which refers to a state of being a person: ) There is also a local specialty stone called "Tortoise Stone". There are many natural patterns like turtle shells on the stone. A famous local attraction "Stone Tortoise Going to Sea" is said to be made of this kind of stone, and the explanation boards in the scenic area are also carved with this kind of stone. The little turtles carved with this kind of stone are really lifelike: )
Then I went to build itTianzishan Cableway, 42 yuan down. In about 10 minutes, you can see countless strange peaks in Wulingyuan along the way. I heard from the tour guide that if you take Tianmen Mountain with a famous cave on the cableway, it takes 45 minutes each way.
Because I saved up and down time, I finally went to the foot of the mountain at noon and had lunch at a restaurant in Shili Gallery. It was still the same standard as before, but I could eat wild vegetables, which were really delicious.
After dinner, goShili gallery, I took a small train in (20 yuan each way), listened to the explanation, and then walked out, I could take photos next to my favorite attractions. Shili Gallery is very similar to Jinbian River, both looking from the bottom up, but unfortunately there is no longer a stream, but the good thing is that the view is wider.
After coming out, I took an eco-friendly car directly to the Wulingyuan ticket station and left the park. I saw a very beautiful reservoir along the way. After seeing the Two Tianshan Mountains, I suddenly saw such a large water area. I was really excited: )
Then he walked for another ten minutes to an intersection in Wulingyuan Town and took an express train back to Zhangjiajie City. This express train is fast and at the same price, but it takes more than 30 minutes to get back. However, the bus is very small, so it is not as comfortable as the bus when it arrived.
It was just after 3 o'clock when I arrived at Zhangjiajie Bus Station. I rushed over to buy a ticket, bought the last ticket, bid farewell to the guide, and set off back to Changsha without wasting any time: ), arrived after 7 o'clock. But I heard the tour guide tell me that after I left, heavy snow began to fall in Zhangjiajie. It's a pity that I missed it again.

6) Experience
- It wasn't very hard, because my friends who went there before complained a lot about the ups and downs, so I deliberately avoided them.
- Do your homework in advance and you can experience more while watching the scenery.
- In fact, Zhangjiajie is just looking at the mountains, and the mountains are all similar, so if you choose the key points, the difference between watching for two days and watching for three or four days should not be too big.
