Finally, during the May Day holiday, the weather was a little cloudy in the early morning. The weather forecast said there would be showers. But we don't care. We still drove off and took National Highway 207, because the next journey would be what we dreamed of, and it would be full of unknowns and exciting. Although the weather is not beautiful, we are not familiar with the road...

Day 1: Dengzhou, Expressway, Zhangjiajie
The car was driving in Dengzhou on National Highway 207. Before it even left the border of Henan Province, heavy rain fell from the sky. I was a little nervous sitting in the co-driver's seat. There were only 2 lanes on this section of 207 and there was no center line of the road. There were some large trucks with trailers and some small agricultural vehicles driving on the road from time to time. The road was slippery on rainy days. My husband was a novice who had never traveled such a long distance. I was also a second-hand, and there were some branches on the road...

Although I was sitting in the passenger seat, I was even more tired than driving myself. My husband always said that he was not tired, and I think he must be comforting me.
The weather was bad, so I wanted to board the Erguang Expressway in Deng County, but I couldn't find the entrance to the expressway. I had to travel south along National Highway 207. This trip led to Xiangfan, Hubei Province. Xiangfan's place names are all very distinctive, including Huangji, Weiji, Yangji and many other places with "Ji". It was already 11 o'clock noon when we arrived in Xiangfan City, and it took us three hours to walk less than 200 kilometers. My husband's googlemap told us that when we walked south on Changhong Road in Xiangfan City, we could see the sign at the entrance of Xiangjing Expressway. We followed the map directions and finally found the Longzhong Toll Station of Xiangjing Expressway. We successfully got on the expressway. The weather was bad and there were very few vehicles on the expressway. As soon as my husband got on the train, he accelerated the speed to 140km/h. I was still very nervous. After all, this was no joke. Safety was a priority, so I kept telling him to slow down and be careful, and was afraid that he would fall asleep. I still kept giving him food, telling him jokes, and helping him check the road conditions and road signs in front of me... I was more worried than driving myself. As a result, I had only been on the highway for an hour, but the driver was not tired. I was so tired that my eyelids were fighting. At my request, the driver agreed to take a break and have lunch in the service area of Jingzhou City.

There was nothing new to eat in the restaurant in the service area, so we had to buy two buckets of instant noodles. Thanks to my mother, she filled me with some eggs when I left. The eggs were soaked in the instant noodles and the taste was quite good!
After filling our stomachs, we decided to sleep in the car for a while. Traffic rules stated that we must rest after driving continuously for 4 hours. In order to avoid fatigue driving and for our safety, the car is parked in the rain and we sleep in the car, which has a unique flavor.
It didn't matter if we slept. It was already 2 o'clock in the afternoon when we opened our eyes. We had planned to arrive in Zhangjiajie before evening came, but we have only walked a little more than one-third of the way now. Time is running out, so we will set off immediately.

(Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge in the Rain)

Not long after we left the service area, we drove onto the Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge. This was the first time I saw the Yangtze River and the bridge in the rain. The Yangtze River was foggy, and several boats were driving on the river. The scenery was very attractive. We simply parked the car at the emergency parking strip of the highway, opened the skylight, and enjoyed the vast beautiful scenery on both sides of the Yangtze River for a while. Unfortunately, the guardrails on the bridge were heavy, and the fog on the river was too heavy to enjoy it. The raindrops had soaked the seats through the skylight.

Walking on the highway was really fast. It was just after 3 o'clock and we arrived in Jingmen. Unfortunately, the highway also ended at Dongyue Temple, and we drove on National Highway 207. I became nervous again. The national highway was really difficult to walk on rainy days. There were often people and vehicles who did not abide by traffic rules. Sometimes a car or a person would suddenly pop out from the roadside. The car slowed down again. When we walked from National Highway 207 to Zhanggongmiao Town, Li County, Hunan Province, we faced another choice. One road was to continue along National Highway 207 to Changde, and from Changde to Changzhang Expressway. The other road was to go west along Provincial Highway 304 to Cili County. From Cili to Changzhang Expressway. The first road was easy to go, but the second road was close. After careful consideration, we chose the second road.

We can always see the shuttle bus from Li County to Cili County on the provincial highway, so we don't have to worry about taking the wrong road, but walking from Shimen County to Cili County S304, we are all dumbfounded. Where is this a provincial highway? Some road sections look like one-way streets, and I don't know what to do when encountering a car coming from the opposite side. Fortunately, I didn't encounter it. Moving forward, the road conditions are even more terrifying. The road is rugged and there is water everywhere. The water is very turbid. I don't know how deep the water is. There is no way. Now it's too late to turn back, so I have to grit my head and move forward. Such a road surface is a great test to the chassis of a car. We wish we were driving a jeep. The car is moving at a speed of 10km/h, and our hearts are always hanging in our throats.

This kind of road took us to walk for 2 hours. At 6 o'clock in the evening, when we saw the sign at the entrance of Changzhang Expressway in Cili County, we breathed a long sigh, parked the car on the roadside, stabilized our emotions, and then fell into the arms of Changzhang Expressway. He immediately decided that when he came back, he would rather walk more than try to get closer and take this fatal path.
Walking on the highway all the way to Zhangjiajie City is a relatively worry-free road. There are too few cars on the road. Although it keeps raining, it is still better than the previous road. More than 70 kilometers of highway were completed in a short time. Near 7 o'clock, we entered Zhangjiajie City.

When you get off the highway in Zhangjiajie, you can see many people receiving and consulting for self-driving tours. I saw on the Internet before that these people who call themselves tour guides cannot be trusted casually, so if someone knocks on the car window or shouts,"Do you need a tour guide?", we ignore them and move forward. After getting off the highway and walking straight along the road, you can reach the city center of Zhangjiajie City. This is a small mountainous city with noise and irregular traffic. This is not a good thing for a novice foreign driver. All we can do is be careful and careful again. When I arrived at the bus station in the city center, I contacted Chen Bin (called Xiao Chen), a local tour guide who had negotiated online in advance, and asked him to help us book a cheap hotel. Xiao Chen had been waiting at the bus station for a long time. He was a very simple looking Tujia young man. After we met, he took us to a forest hotel with a parking lot. The conditions were okay.

After putting our backpacks in the hotel, we couldn't wait to go out and find delicious food. I heard that there is a very famous "Master Hu Three Cooking" here on Ziwu Road, but the content is similar to Beijing's stewed cooking. I couldn't get used to it. Such things, so I didn't eat the so-called "famous food". About 200 meters west of the bus station, there is a "Jiuzi Spicy Crab" family. Because I was hungry, I had no choice but to enter. The spicy crabs here are okay. The crabs are very fresh, tender and taste very good! Moreover, the things are not very expensive. My husband and I spent less than 70 yuan on a full day.

Considering the rain, tour guide Chen Bin said that when going to Zhangjiajie Forest Park, the mountains are high, and the fog in the mountains may affect the view of the beautiful scenery. Jianyi, we played Phoenix first, so we temporarily changed our mind and went to Phoenix first the next day. When we come back from Phoenix, we will go to Zhangjiajie Forest Park. Anyway, we have to pass through Zhangjiajie City to return from Phoenix to Beijing.
After a day of driving, we were both very tired. We braved the rain and returned to the hotel to recharge as soon as possible to prepare for tomorrow's trip to Phoenix.
The journey was tiring and the journey was in a hurry, and the weather was not pleasant. It was raining lightly. On the first night after arriving in Zhangjiajie City, I had not yet appreciated the city and experienced the city's local customs and customs, so I went to a meeting with the Duke of Zhou.

Day 2: Furong Town, Fenghuang Ancient City
The early morning of May 2 was cloudy. At 7 o'clock in the morning, we got up and drove away from Zhangjiajie City without having breakfast and headed for Fenghuang in Xiangxi.
Zhangjiajie City after the rain reminds me of the West Lake after the rain. It is foggy. The trees and mountains and rivers are hidden in the mist. It has a romantic atmosphere, but it is inappropriate to compare it with the West Lake. Because there are very high mountains here, and there are clouds of fog like clouds between the peaks on the mountain. Some of the fog is like white smoke, and some of the fog is like dark clouds. At first glance, it is like a scene in Journey to the West. The white smoke looks like a fairy coming, and the dim dark clouds look like monsters. Growing up in the dry north, looking at this fairyland like place in front of you will give you the illusion of a dream.

From Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang, you go from Dayong Road in Zhangjiajie City to Provincial Highway 306 and then turn to Provincial Highway 229. From Dayong Road to Provincial Highway 306, we turned into a bay that looked like a U-turn. If we were not careful, we would make the wrong way. We just made the wrong way at that time, and then we came back. The entire construction of 306 was very smooth, but the mountain road was uneven and turned into many bays. We were new here and had never seen the fog in the mountains of the rain. We were so excited that we were overwhelmed. We stopped and stopped, and kept getting off the bus to take photos. The mountain road was winding, and every turn would bring us great surprises.

The beautiful scenery on the roadside made us almost miss our trip. The roads in the mountains are not easy to walk on. The road in front of every turn is unknown. The unknown may be dangerous. We still drive very seriously. Some mountain roads will be surrounded by falling rocks from the top of the mountain. Some mountain roads are surrounded by cliffs. There will be cars coming from the opposite side at any time when turning. In places where people are unfamiliar with the place, we are not sure whether the road we are taking is correct...

Because of this, this trip was full of excitement!
Walking along S229, there are not many branches on the road. Every time I encounter a minibus from Phoenix to Zhangjiajie driving across the road, I will comfort myself a little-it means that we are not on the wrong road! We planned to arrive in Fenghuang County before 12 noon, but we were too greedy for the beautiful scenery on the way and delayed some of our trip. In addition, we wanted to visit Furong Town, which we passed through (You know what happened in the movie "Furong Town" performed by Liu Xiaoqing and Jiang Wen? This is this ancient town in Xiangxi!) Stop for a moment, it seems that arriving at Phoenix at 12 o'clock will be a bit of a stretch! The reason why we didn't eat breakfast was that we wanted to try "Liu Xiaoqing's rice tofu" in Furong Town. Before we came here, we heard that there were many sellers selling Liu Xiaoqing's rice tofu on the streets of Furong Town.

I have been uneasy-are we on the right path? Because there are two roads leading to Phoenix, we are still worried about missing Furong Ancient Town. After a nervous journey, I finally saw a blue sign on the road sign above my head, which told us the way to Fenghuang and through Furong Town.
At 10 o'clock, we arrived in Furong Town. By this time, our hunger was already very strong. I was looking forward to arriving in the town as soon as possible and finding a shop selling rice and tofu to comfort my stomach that had been wronged all morning.
This is a remote and ordinary town. Because we had not prepared a map of Furong Town in advance, we didn't know where the ancient town was, so we drove towards a crowded street, but it looked like a newly developed place. The buildings were very new and there was new soil on the ground. Because I was hungry and didn't see rice tofu, I had to find a restaurant to eat some rice noodles. Rice noodles are also a specialty of Hunan!

After eating rice noodles, we also asked the owner of the store: What is the most interesting place in Furong Town? The boss's answer was unexpected: I don't think there's anything interesting here, nothing special. Telling us that the ancient town would move forward, we had to drive forward.
Turn right at a fork and move forward, and gradually discover the charm of the ancient town. But I think if you are familiar with Xiangxi, you will definitely not feel anything special about Furong Town. The buildings are the same as other towns in Xiangxi, crowded and noisy... It's really nothing special, maybe just because of the movie "Furong Town"...

After walking around in the downtown area for a while, he did not get off the bus and directly got onto the road leading to Phoenix.

It may be a two-hour drive from Furong Town to Fenghuang. It also passes through Jishou City. In my memory, it seems to pass through the gate of Jishou University. The mountain road is still winding, and there are more up-and-down slopes. I don't want to talk about driving anymore.
After 12 o'clock in the afternoon, I finally arrived at Phoenix. Entering Fenghuang County, I was not excited at all. Unlike when I went to Wuzhen before, I was very excited and didn't want to miss any scenery. I just feel that the style of the ancient city is nothing more than this. However, it is the three-day May Day holiday, and there are still many people who come to visit the ancient city. I think the characteristics of the ancient city of Fenghuang are concentrated on both sides of the Tuojiang River. It is full of tourists and an endless stream of tourists. It is very lively!

To the south of the Tuojiang River is the location of the ancient city of Fenghuang. However, except for the former residence of several famous people such as Shen Congwen, other places in the ancient city here are very similar to Yandai Xie Street in Houhai, Beijing. On both sides of the street are small shops selling tourist souvenirs, as well as ginger candy, kudzu root powder, dried kiwi fruit, etc. It really has nothing special. The street is full of Hanicized Miao and Tujia people, and occasionally you can see a few big sisters and aunts dressed in national costumes. It may only take two or three hours to visit the entire ancient city.

On both sides of the Tuojiang River at night, like Houhai or Sanlitun Bar Street at night, there are many bars, restaurants and inns along the river on both sides of the Tuojiang River. At seven or eight o'clock, the singers who sing in the bars all start working, and you can hear it everywhere. A familiar song. Eating at a restaurant in Linjiang is a great enjoyment, and you can see the beautiful scenery on the river.
There are many people selling river lanterns at night, most of whom are children. River lanterns floated across the river from time to time. The little girl in the photo below is a Hanicized Miao family sister. She came out to sell river lanterns at night, so we bought two.

Sitting by the river for dinner, I looked at the river lanterns floating on the river. Some of them burned completely or were wet by the water after floating for a short while; while some river lanterns floated tenaciously on the rapids and could walk very far; Some river lanterns always lean towards the shore after being released, unable to float forward smoothly, while some can float towards the center of the river while riding the wind and waves, and then move forward grandly... Seeing these, I suddenly feel that life is like these river lanterns. Some people can overcome obstacles and move forward freely on the road of life. Some people have superior conditions and many people help, but they are always overwhelmed by mud and mud. Some people are always hit, and some people always have a smooth journey...

There are many Miao villages in Fenghuang County. So far, many Miao villages have been developed into tourist attractions for tourists to visit. Visiting Miao villages means visiting the Miao people's villages, lifestyles, tasting Miao food, etc. Of course, there are also some Miao villages that have not been developed, and their lives have not been disturbed by tourists. I wonder what kind of place that would be.
According to Amei, the Miao family's tour guide, the Miao family is divided into raw seedlings and mature seedlings. Mature Miao people are members of the Miao family who have been sinicized and can speak Chinese and Miao language; Mature Miao people are original Miao people who cannot speak Chinese or understand Korean. It is said that the Miao people originally had their own writing, but with the changes of history and the destruction of accidents, today's Miao family has only language but no writing. This language may slowly disappear with the process of sinicization of the Miao people.

Day 3: Miao Village, Fenghuang Ancient City
There are many Miao villages that have been developed into tourist attractions. I heard of Gouliang Miao Village in Phoenix, Shenlong Valley Miao Village, and Gudong Miao Village, and some of them I can't remember their names. Because time was tight, we were not very familiar with this place, so we listened to the introduction of Yingzi, a tour guide in Zhangjiajie, and chose the Shenlong Valley Miao Village. She said that the Shenlong Valley Miao Village is a Miao village that has not yet been connected to a highway. To get there, we have to take half an hour's bus, a 40-minute boat ride, and a half an hour's mountain road to get there. As soon as I heard that I had to take the water, I went without even thinking about it!
On the way to Miao Village, our tour guide was a sister who knew Miao people well. She wore Miao clothes and spoke Mandarin with a southern accent. The sister of the Miao family was enthusiastic and generous, which surprised me. It is true that the Miao family loves singing. Amei not only sang for us on the bus, but also taught us how to sing. The atmosphere was very lively along the way.
After traveling on the winding and rugged mountain road for half an hour, the car finally arrived at the cruise ship terminal.
The cruise ship is very dilapidated. I don't know what kind of ship it is called. It's not a hand-cranked one. It makes the sound of a tractor when it walks. On the cruise ship, Amei, the tour guide, has been singing or telling riddles for everyone to guess, which is very atmosphere.

I ran to the bow of the ship and enjoyed the May breeze and sunshine. Among the green mountains and clear waters, the original air was fresh and pleasant, and the winding waterway constantly surprised people. On the hillside in the distance, there were people plowing water buffaloes. There were Miao children doing something on the hillside, and there were also looming Miao buildings. The 40-minute waterway was too short. I had not enjoyed enough of the beautiful scenery on both sides of the strait, but I had already arrived at the dock. The dock was still half an hour away from Miao Village on the mountain road, but we met several Miao children selling things. Some carried a basket of sweet potatoes, some carried cucumbers, and some had wreaths on their arms, shouting to someone that these children were very young, maybe under ten years old. I wonder if they had studied.

Narrow mountain roads are very dangerous. In many places, only one person can pass through. I wonder how the Miao villagers can travel when it rains. There are such mountain springs everywhere along the way. The spring water is Dingdong, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, and the water is beautiful like the sister of the Miao family, lively, jumping and agile!
The mountain road lasts for half an hour, winding and steep, and some places are still very dangerous. If people are old and have difficulty moving around, they may never be able to leave this water-surrounded village. The tour guide said that the children who were standing at the dock selling sweet potatoes, wreaths and cucumbers came from Miao Village. I said how hard it was for them to run through the mountain road for half an hour, but the tour guide said that it was not hard for them at all. They were all jogging all the way, and they have been used to running on this road since childhood...
In places where the mountain road is relatively flat, you can occasionally meet the eldest sister of the Miao family who sits on a small stool next to the mountain path that is only one step wide. She has a small basket next to her, with needle and thread in the basket. The eldest sister is sitting there embroidering and selling her works to tourists while embroidering.
The Miao village we went to was called Shenlong Valley Miao Village. The reason why it was called Shenlong Valley Miao Village was because there was a cave on the mountain road leading to Miao Village. The cave was not very deep. A clear mountain spring flowed out from the depths of the cave. There was a huge rock on the roof of the cave, which looked like a dragon sticking its head out to drink water. This was Shenlong Valley. The spring water was clear. The tour guide said that the Miao family usually used spring water to eat and drink, so I filled a bottle with the mineral water bottle in my hand and tasted it. It was sweet, clear, and as if it was iced.

As we all know, the Miao family is good at duet songs and is hospitable. Therefore, when entering Miao Village, you have to sing against the Miao family's eldest sister before you can enter. In the Miao family's duet song, only four sentences can be counted as a song. If there are less than four sentences, it cannot be called a song. After singing, you have to add "Yo roar ~~~" at the end to show that I have finished singing. Amei, the tour guide on the road, has already taught us folk songs. The lyrics are like this:

Sing well and sing well

Singing peach blossoms blooming

Nine of ten peach blossoms bloom

There is another flower waiting for you to come, waiting for you to come ~~~ Ho ~~~

It's a simple song, and we passed it smoothly!

After singing the folk song, the eldest sister of the Miao family poured a bowl of Miao family glutinous rice wine in order to moisten our throats. Unexpectedly, this glutinous rice wine was fragrant, sweet, moist and cool. I don't know what strange method they used in this strange place to brew such a delicious glutinous rice wine.
After entering the Miao Village, there were not many activities, and I didn't see the Miao family's songs and dances. After eating a Miao family meal, I moved freely and then returned.

This place is actually a very poor place. People's faces are tanned. Many parts of the village still smell of smelly pig manure and cow dung. The houses are very dilapidated and have no furniture or electrical appliances. Many Miao families still don't allow photos, but they have to collect money to take photos. It may be because inconvenient transportation has hindered the development of this place. However, if transportation was convenient, we might not see a lifestyle that is so close to the original ecology, and maybe they have been sinicized long ago.

After moving freely around Miao Village for a while, we embarked on our return journey, still taking the mountain road first, then the water road, and then the highway. The dock where I took the boat when I returned was not the dock where I got off the boat when I came, so the road was relatively shorter, but it was more dangerous than the previous road. It was a mountain road that no one had built. It was just a winding path, and there were no protective measures. If you were not careful, it was normal for you to fall and break your bones.
After getting on the boat, I returned to the green mountains and beautiful waters that made me feel relaxed and relaxed. I was once again immersed in joy. However, some people on the boat may have been too tired from the journey, but they actually met the Duke of Zhou among the green mountains and above the green waters.

I walked onto the bow again and took a camera to take pictures. I want to record every mountain and every wave that makes me so excited.

This is really a very original land. People live in nature so calmly. In fact, he is very far away from our ship. I adjusted the focus of the camera to the limit to take this picture. In the afternoon by the riverside, there are many similar people bathing in shallow water. Miao Village is close to both sides of the river. This river may be the home of their life. In the afternoon, there are girls washing clothes and children playing in the river.

Arriving in Fenghuang County, it was already past 3 o'clock in the afternoon. We rushed to start the car and drove towards Zhangjiajie again.

Phoenix and I, the shops along the street, the cafes by the Tuojiang River, the open-air food stalls by the Hongqiao Bridge in the evening, the wandering singers under the city wall at night, and the bars under the night, remain in my memory, deeply engraved and lingering.
It's much easier to go back the same way. We have already traveled the distance once, and we will no longer be unfamiliar again. This time, I didn't stop on the road and drove to Zhangjiajie in one go. The sun was shining outside the car window. I was thinking that the mountains in Zhangjiajie should be very bright. It should be good weather to visit Zhangjiajie Forest Park tomorrow.
After nearly 4 hours 'journey, we quickly arrived in Zhangjiajie City and checked into the hotel booked for us by our guide Chen Bin.
I have to sigh again. The consumption here is much lower than that in Beijing. The standard room in the hotel usually costs 80 yuan! Park the car, check into the hotel, and then go to the street to see if there is anything delicious! The downtown area is very small, just like a small county, but although the sparrow is small, it has everything and can buy anything.

Day 4: Wulingyuan Core Scenic Area, Tianzi Mountain, Yangjiajie, Wulongzhai
On the morning of the 4th, we only started visiting the main scenic spot of this trip-the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie.
Following the suggestion of guide Chen, we left the car at the hotel because we had to go back to the scenic spot. We had no concept of it before we arrived. After arriving, we realized that Zhangjiajie Forest Park was really big. If we wanted to visit the entire scenic spot, we needed to stay in the mountains for 5 days. I had read a lot of information about Zhangjiajie tourism on the Internet before and found that many individual tourists came here. In order to avoid getting lost in the mountains and improve tourism efficiency, they would hire a local guide. So we also found a local tour guide online in advance, and had already negotiated the price before. After arriving in Zhangjiajie, we contacted him directly.

We entered from the Wulingyuan Ticket Station. The mountain area is too large and there are not many scenic spots. Therefore, there are environmentally friendly vehicles like minibuses that travel between the various scenic spots. As soon as we entered the scenic area, we got on an eco-friendly car. According to Xiao Chen's arrangement, the first stop was Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area. Because half of the morning was spent on the road, when we arrived at Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area, we visited Helong Park and Shentang Bay. It was already lunch time.
I really don't know how to describe the feelings these two places make me feel apart from lamenting the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature. The West Sea Stone Forest, Fairy Dispersion Flowers, and Tianzi Pavilion stand firm in the sun and exude a strange light. This is a sight I have never seen before. The peaks stand like giant trees in the valley. The valley is so deep that you don't know how deep it is. Every mountain peak has the appearance of each mountain peak. The peaks of the Fairy Dispersion Flower Scenic Spot are all flat, and the flat peaks look like blooming flowers when viewed from above., like being held by a person. That's why they call them fairy flowers spreading!
Lunch was at Tujia Lvyou Inn, where we lived. The two of us had ordinary two dishes and one soup. After lunch, we took a short rest and started our afternoon sightseeing. The target attractions in the afternoon are Wulong Village and Climbing to the Sky. At first, I was thinking: How much time it would be to only visit two places in half a day! But later I realized how exhausting it was to visit these two places!

I went to Wulong Village first. Along the way to Wulong Village, there are golden rooster to announce the dawn, and three gates are closed-the first pass is difficult, the second pass dares not to bow, and the third pass is a line of sky. When you arrive at Wulong Village, you can walk one hill ahead. Tianbo Mansion. The road to Wulong Village is really dangerous. If there were no guardrails, I think only outlaws would dare to walk here. There was only a one-step-wide rock wall and it tilted towards the cliff. If you were not careful, you would fall off the cliff and be crushed to pieces; The hurdle of who dares not to bow his head is even more exaggerated. A protruding rock blocks the way. If you want to go up the mountain, you must bow your waist. This is "who dares not to bow your head". The line of sky is also called the Thin Man Valley. It is a very narrow seam. Only thin people can squeeze through, and fat people need to take a detour.

It is not easy to enter the gate of Wulong Stronghold. There is a great test ahead. This shows how difficult it was for the Eighth Route Army to suppress bandits back then!

The attractions here are too scattered, and the distance between each attraction is too far, so that the time between running and the attractions is much longer than the time between the attractions, so traveling here is a very tiring thing.

After watching it, I returned to my residence. Since I had never walked so much, I had dinner when I arrived at my residence and rested early.

Day 5: Yuanjiajie, Back Garden, Jinbianxi, Zhangjiajie, Changsha.
Since we didn't have much time, we could only spend two days in Zhangjiajie. On the second day of our visit to Zhangjiajie, it was cloudy and showered. We started our journey down the mountain. It took us half a day from the back garden to Jinbian River. It has begun to rain in the mountains. Guide Xiao Chen said that after the rain, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and clouds, and the mountains are submerged in clouds of clouds, leaving only the top of the mountain, as if we have entered a fairyland. Unfortunately, we are running out of time and can't stay here and wait for the beautiful scenery.

When I was about to walk out of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, I suddenly looked back and saw that the mountains were already shrouded in smoke. So I took a few more photos of the smoke-entangled mountains to deepen my memory of this beautiful place.

This is a place where the Miao and Tujia people live mixed. When I arrive here, I will truly feel that my brother is the mountain and my sister is the water. The mountain stands quietly there, silent and determined, and silence is better than sound, just like an elder brother, working silently; the water is gently entangled in the mountains, sometimes calm, rippling blue waves, sometimes ding-dong, cheering, just like a sister, smart life. The sisters of the Tujia and Miao families have a special aura, perhaps because they were born with such an aura of mountains and rivers.

Our tour guide Chen Bin kept joking with us, explaining the stories of scenic spots, and telling the local customs and customs. He was really impressed and the trip was worthwhile! Friends who want to go to Zhangjiajie in western Hunan can ask him to be a guide!
After coming out of the scenic spot, we went to the city, picked up our car and headed for Changsha. By the time we checked into the hotel we booked, it was already past 8 o'clock. We put down our luggage and renovated it a little... Maybe we live on the busiest pedestrian street. Changsha gave me the first feeling that "the sense of modernity is no less than Shanghai." The flashing neon lights at night are accompanied by the dynamic rock music of the street shops, and the well-dressed Xiangmei can be seen everywhere. This Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street named after the famous revolutionary hero Huang Xing is as popular as Hunan Satellite TV's program. In the middle of the pedestrian street is Pozi Street, and not far through it is the legendary "Fire Palace". The "Huo Palace" used to be a temple dedicated to the fire god, also known as the "Qianyuan Palace", and was built during the Qianlong period. This place is known as the source of Xiangfeng snacks and the main representative of Hunan cuisine. It has a far-reaching historical origin. It's crowded!

After dinner, we were lucky enough to catch the last Hunan opera performance at the ancient stage... Play late at night before returning to the hotel to rest!

Day 6: Changsha Pedestrian Street, Yuelu Academy, Juzizhou Head, Aiwan Pavilion, return journey, Huangxing Road in the morning is particularly deserted compared to night.

The weather improved, and after breakfast, we headed straight to the famous "Orange Island Head". Juzhou Island is a small island in the middle of the river on the Xiangjiang River. It is long and narrow, about five kilometers. It was formed during the reign of Emperor Hui of the Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,600 years. Mao Zedong once asked here,"Who rules the ups and downs on the vast earth?" Tianwen. I thought it was just a small island overlooking the river, but I didn't expect that now a comprehensive ecological park integrating fountains, green spaces, memorial halls and other landscapes has been built. Coupled with the fresh air and blue skies and white clouds in Changsha, this place really makes my eyes light up. Walking along Orange Island, looking at the surging river flowing north, and gazing at the famous Jiangxin Tower on the other side, you will have a feeling of "independent cold autumn"! We also heard that this place originally charged 100 yuan for tickets, but it was stopped due to opposition from Changsha citizens. Hehe! We were lucky again. Unfortunately, under the scorching sun, we could not reach the so-called "head of the continent" on foot. After reading Chairman Mao's inscription, we hurried to the next attraction,"Yuelu Academy". "Yuelu Academy" was one of the four famous academies in the Song Dynasty and was founded in the Northern Song Dynasty. At that time, Zhu Xi gave lectures here and wrote the four characters "Loyalty, Filial Piety, Integrity, and Integrity" in calligraphy, which were carved into stones and embedded in the two walls of the lecture hall in the courtyard. Documents and historical records also mention the Yuelu Academy and the Confucius Lecture Office together, as "Xiaoxiang Zhusi", which was changed to Hunan University before liberation. Walking into the courtyard, the profound cultural connotation of Huxiang is undoubtedly revealed, and the extremely elegant and simple architectural style makes people linger. Across the academy is Yuelu Mountain, and not far along the stream are the four famous pavilions-"Aiwan Pavilion". "Aiwan Pavilion" was originally known as "Aiye Pavilion", and was later named after Du Mu of the Tang Dynasty."Parking and sitting in the maple forest at night, the frost leaves are redder than February flowers." The artistic conception in the poem has been renamed to this day. During the reconstruction, Chairman Mao even personally inscribed the three words "Love Wan Pavilion", which makes people intoxicated...!

Unconsciously, it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon again. Time passed so quickly that we arrived at the pre-booked restaurant with the No. 1 flavor in Changsha-"Haoshishang". I heard that it was improved Hunan cuisine, so we ordered a full table according to the characteristics. Our bellies were already empty, and we each ate a big meal. Perhaps I was so hungry at the time that I could almost exaggerate it as swallowing dates. Now, the only things I can recall are "Thunder Duck" and "Pig Neck Meat". Anyway, this is the highest realm! Hehe! I drove back after the meal! Arrived home safely at night, ending our trip to Hunan!
I was born and raised in the north. I have been accustomed to the rough and direct nature of the north since I was a child. When I arrived in the south, I suddenly saw the beautiful and graceful mountains and rivers. Apart from lamenting the miraculous craftsmanship of nature, there is really no other more suitable language to sigh.
