After visiting the ancient city of Fenghuang in western Hunan, go north from Jishou to Zhangjiajie, the last stop of this project. Worried about the trouble of buying tickets, we bought a ticket back to Shanghai on December 26 in Huaihua. Moreover, before coming out, I had contacted the local Tujia tour guide, Jin Fuying (13574416282), and arranged the itinerary for the next 72 hours. When we walked out of Zhangjiajie Railway Station at noon on December 23, we were greeted by various people calling themselves tour guides. Because I have long learned online that these are basically so-called "black directors", this is not to say that black directors are definitely bad. Now that we have been in contact, we don't bother with them anymore. The Jin tour guide who picked up the station had been waiting for him for a long time. She is a Tujia elder sister in her thirties. I found out that he lived in Zhangjiajie City. We just happened to put some luggage at his home that we didn't need to take up the mountain. We asked about the weather conditions in the past few days and found out that we were very lucky that it rained heavily in Zhangjiajie the past two days. The rain just stopped today.
I won't talk much gossip and leave it to Sister Jin for the next few days. I'm really worried. After all, it was the first time Jane, a Shanghai girl who accompanied her, had traveled so far away. Anyway, let's put a small bag on our back and set off. With Sister Jin leading the way, the two of us started our trip in Zhangjiajie.
According to the pre-set route, we entered the scenic spot from the gate of Zhangjiajie Forest Park and left our own fingerprints at the entrance. Will we leave a criminal record?! The first thing to enter is the gold medal attraction Jinbian River under the jurisdiction of Zhangjiajie. Although it rained in the past two days, the water flow in Jinbian River was not large. It may be due to winter. While viewing the Golden Whip Rock and other peak forests along the way. Pay close attention to the breath of this natural oxygen bar and feel refreshed. I saw a few macaques coming around. It seemed that these little guys were very clever and took the food and left. Since we entered the park in the afternoon, considering that it had just rained, the sky was getting darker, and the mountain road was slippery, we gave up the route of running on the slopes and followed the regular route to see the controversial "Hundred Dragons Ladder"(53 yuan up). There is a scenic spot sightseeing bus service. To be honest, when we stood under the 300-meter ladder on the cliff, it felt really weird, as if it was similar to the feeling of standing under Jinmao in Shanghai. But everything around us is so unfamiliar. Listening to the tour guide, due to doubts from the World Natural Heritage Agency, the ladder was suspended for a while, but finally it was again running driven by economic interests. A few minutes later, we reached the top of the cliff, still amazed at the wisdom and power of mankind.
Near the back garden, we settled down. Stayed in a family-style hotel run by local villagers. It was relatively clean, with a separate bathroom, color TV, and hot water. Maybe I was a little tired from rushing and went to bed early. The night in the mountains is very dark and silent.
When the sky turned white the next day, the golden rooster announced the dawn. We continued on the road. God was very aware and it cleared up completely. The itinerary for this period was relatively loose. We stopped and walked along the way to watch Houhuayuan, Ecstasy Terrace, the World's First Bridge, and several peak forest observation platforms. By noon we had arrived at Yangjiajie Scenic Area, where we stayed the next day. First of all, we went to the top of the mountain and saw the mountains. Haha, now we are deep into the hinterland of bandits. Joking Jane and saying to follow closely, otherwise she will be kidnapped and taken to serve as a gangster. I feel that the scenery of this Yangjia Boundary is even better. Among them, Tianbo Prefecture and Wulong Village are three levels. It will be a little difficult to pass if you pay attention to the larger ones. After swimming all the way, if you are tired, you can also buy some smoked sausage, fried potatoes, corn cob, cucumbers, white fungus and red dates soup at the resting pavilion. It tastes good. Back at my place, today's trip is over, and I'm very relaxed. Give Sister Jin a vacation. Walking up the winding mountain road with Jane, you can overlook the scenery of Huangshi Village and the countryside in the sky. However, pay attention to safety, there are many tourist buses shuttle back and forth. In this way, the two of them spent the leisurely afternoon unknowingly. Back at the accommodation, Sister Jin had already arranged dinner. I feel that everything I eat in the mountains smells good, really green food. That night, a bright moon rose from distant peaks and hung high in the starry night sky. This scene excited us, who have lived in a big city for a long time. Will there be a meteor shower? Jane leaned on my shoulder and asked.
A knock on the door disturbed a good night's sleep. I looked at my calendar. Time flies in the mountains. Today is the last 24 hours in Zhangjiajie. You should also hurry up and see more good mountains and rivers to be able to justify yourself. Today we went to Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area. We felt that Helong Park, Yubi Peak and other scenic spots were average, with too many traces of human beings. Maybe we were a little tired after seeing too much. After taking a few quick photos, he left and went down the mountain. At noon, we left the gate of Wulingyuan, called for a meeting and headed straight for Baofeng Lake. Baofeng Lake is the only lake in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Entering the scenic area, a waterfall flies down from the cliff on the left. It's beautiful. The beauty of Baofeng Waterfall deserves its reputation. Go along the plank road on the right, view Baofeng Temple and follow the stone steps upwards. After passing a pass, you will suddenly see the sky. The high mountain Pinghu and Baofeng Lake are presented in front of you. The lake water is green and slightly sparkling. Although it is not as colorful as Jiuzhai, it has a unique atmosphere. It turns out that the water in Zhangjiajie is also so charming. A sightseeing cruise ship traveled through the lake, and the folk songs were still echoing in my ears. The mountains, the water, the people and the singing brought the perfect end to the trip.
It should be said that our 72-hour trip in Zhangjiajie was hasty but very fulfilling. There was no noise from the past with large groups, and no tour guide holding a small flag and urging loudly. Walking between mountains and rivers wherever you go, I think this is what everyone who loves travel and nature yearns for.
