The hotel is very close to the ancient city of Fenghuang. It takes a taxi for 10 yuan (using the meter). It is called Fenghuang Ambassador International Hotel. I heard that we usually receive government staff, so the hotel facilities are very partisan. It seems to be the largest hotel around Fenghuang Ancient Town. The official compared the nearby ones and found that there are indeed many other small inns along the Tuojiang River.

Hongshilin-Furong Town-Zhangjiajie

I got up at 6 o'clock the next day and took more than an hour to arrive at the first scenic spot: Hongshi Forest. I heard that it was the filming location of the film and television series "Slowching"?? But I haven't seen it and don't know. The scenic area is relatively small and you can visit it in about an hour. It is the kind of stone forest where the limestone is washed away by rain. Red, should be rich in iron??

We saw specialties that we had never eaten in the park! August Fruit, I heard that it is a fruit that ripens in August and cracks when it matures. Furong town

From a distance, you can see the ancient town above a waterfall, which is very beautiful. The ancient town is not very big, with many shops, inns, and craft shops. Passing through the streets of the town, I saw many large snails with half a palm! I heard that it was also a local specialty, so I wanted to eat it, but I was afraid that the meat would be too old, so I didn't buy it. Rice tofu is also one of the specialties ~

Suggestion:1. There is no need to buy the handicrafts of the ancient town. Most of them are Yiwu products;

2. Many people on the roadside sell bandit cigarettes, which are basically made of poor tobacco. It is not very good. I suggest you not buy them.

Zhangjiajie-Xibu Street

Furong Town came out and headed straight to Zhangjiajie. The first stop was Xibu Street, which was a retro commercial street. However, due to the epidemic, 90% of the stores had closed down and there was nothing to shop around (in 2020).

I went to a tea house and bought Anhua's specialty Jinhua Fu tea and tea bricks (remember to check the date!!! When I bought the one with a long year, the official just didn't look carefully. I got two cakes with a one-year T-T, but there were not many golden flowers).

There is also a tea called Berry Tea. There is a layer of white frost on the tea, which is also one of Zhangjiajie's specialties. It tastes clear and light, but after drinking white water, you will feel sweet again. It is very sweet! It's amazing! But the price was too expensive, so I didn't start. (You can buy it online, it's cheap)

Zhangjiajie-Qianggu Qing Scenic Area

I didn't have much hope for the performances of these scenic spots, but this scenic spot really subverts my opinion. The scenic spot belongs to Songcheng Group. The park is very large, divided into an amusement area and a movie viewing area. The amusement area has amusement parks, food and drink places, handicrafts, clothing stores, haunted houses with no themes...

Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie-Morong Miao Village-Fenghuang Ancient City

Get up at 5:30 in the morning and drive to Zhangjiajie in about 2 hours. If you are free to travel, you must! Absolutely! Absolutely! To catch up early, we arrived at the entrance of the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area Tourist Center in Zhangjiajie around 7 o'clock, and had already begun to queue up. After waiting in line for more than ten minutes, we got on the minibus that went up the mountain. There were many minibuses, and we set off immediately when they were full.

(2) Take the cable car

After getting off the bus, follow the crowd for a while to reach a place where you can take the cable car.

!!! Remember that if you see a lot of people in line, find a friend to buy a lift ticket first, otherwise you will not get out of the line until you are halfway in line!!!

(3) Take the escalator

The cable car can carry more than ten or twenty people directly to the foot of Tianmen Cave.

At this point, you can choose two ways to continue to reach the top of the mountain.First, take the escalator; second, climb the 999 level.We went to the top of the mountain and took the escalator. Although it is an escalator, it is really long and steep, divided into many sections. I sat for at least 10 minutes, and I was tired from standing haha ~

When I reached the top of the mountain, it was 10 degrees lower than the foot of the mountain (probably because of the rain). I walked around the top of the mountain and walked on the glass plank road. However, because of the fog, I couldn't see anything, which blocked Tianmen Cave. The glass plank road walked on like flat ground, not exciting at all. What a pity!!!! I didn't get the photo either, wuwu ~

(4) Take the cable car down the mountain

It was around 11 o'clock when we went down the mountain, and there were already many people. Fortunately, we went a little early. We had to shake the number to ride the cable car to go down the mountain later. It was too difficult. The cable car this time is relatively small. It is a cable car that can be directly taken to the tourist center (ps: the tourist center is still a long distance from the entrance of the scenic area). It takes about 40 minutes.

1. Everyone must watch the weather!!!! When we went there, it was raining continuously in Zhangjiajie during this period of time. Not only was it cold, but the focus was also the fog T-T. If you encounter rainy and foggy days like an official, you will really have no experience!!!

2. If the weather is bad, I suggest you buy raincoats and shoe covers online in advance. I bought shoe covers in the scenic spot, which is not too expensive for 10 yuan a pair.

Morong Miao Village

On the way to Fenghuang Ancient City, I stopped by Morong Miao Village, but because it was too late, I took a quick look around the scenery and didn't see many special exquisiteness. It was very dark and there were no street lights. I heard that this is one of the rare Miao villagers currently born. Born Miao means not marrying Han people and maintaining all the living customs of the Miao people.

There is a very strange place that is the toilet in this scenic area. Please don't go there!!! Because the toilet has no door! Moreover, the walls around them are very short, 50 centimeters at most! So embarrassing!!! Don't go if you're not in a particularly urgent hurry, it makes you really sick.

On the second day after arriving in Fenghuang Ancient City, I went to the shopping mall after an hour of sightseeing.
