I still remember that day, when I stood on the observation deck of Yuanjiajie, Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie, and had a panoramic view of the Three Thousand Strange Peak. Deep in the valley, there were thousands of stone peaks and stone pillars standing out.

Looking at this scene quietly, it feels like entering a movie of "Avatar". The vast Wulingyuan is independent between heaven and earth. The extraordinary craftsmanship of nature has created the spectacular quartz sandstone peak forest landscape here.

When the movie "Avatar" was released, I went to the cinema to see it three times. One early morning premiere, one giant screen IMAX, and one high-definition dual-machine projection. That was the first time I experienced 3D special effects, and it was extremely shocking.

Later, I heard that the suspended mountain location in the movie "Avatar" was located in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, so I always wanted to see the real version in person.

Wherever you want to go, you will one day reach it.

If you don't stand there in person, you really can't feel the shock Zhangjiajie brings to you. The 100,000 mountains in Zhangjiajie are the result of hundreds of millions of years of geological structure.

Wulingyuan Scenic Area is worthy of being Zhangjiajie's "golden printing business card".

This scenic spot has successively won honors such as China's first national forest park, China's first batch of world natural heritage sites, China's first batch of world geological parks, China's first batch of 5A-level tourist areas, National Civilized Scenic Area, and "Zhangjiajie Landform" Naming Site.

But you may not know that Wulingyuan Scenic Area is the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie, and Yuanjiajie is the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan.

The Yuanjia boundary is separated by a strip of water from the Jinbian River, the most beautiful canyon in the world. It is connected to Suoxi Valley in the east, Yaozi Village in the south, Huangshi Village in the west, and Tianzi Mountain in the north.

On that day, a person flew directly from Shanghai to Zhangjiajie. It only took two and a half hours to meet with several friends at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport, and then took a taxi to Wulingyuan District. The next day, we began our trip to Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie.

The ticket price for Wulingyuan Scenic Area is 225 yuan, and one ticket can be played for four days. The main scenic spots include Yuanjiajie, Jinbianxi, Huangshizhai, Tianzi Mountain, Yangjiajie, etc.

The Hundred Dragons Stairway you are about to ride is not simple.

It is not only the best way to Zhangjiajie's core scenic spot, but also the most representative man-made spectacle. It is currently recorded in the Guinness World Records with the honor of "World's Highest Outdoor Sightseeing Elevator".

With a vertical height difference of 335 meters and 66 seconds, this elevator can reach Yuanjiajie, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie.

The single ladder can stand 64 people. Since its opening, it has safely transported nearly 35 million tourists, and no safety incident has ever occurred. What a huge number this is.

After an aerial photo, you can see the Hundred Dragons Ladder climbing on the cliff. How was this built in the first place? I couldn't help but ask.

It is recommended to buy a round-trip ticket when taking the Bailong Stairway, which saves time, and you can directly take the VIP channel to enter the elevator without having to queue. In fact, 66 seconds is really a blink of an eye. Sitting on the Hundred Dragons Ladder and looking at the mountains is another angle.

The opposite side of the Hundred Dragons Ladder is called the "General's Formation" and consists of 48 independent mountain pillars. Viewed from the Hundred Dragons Ladder in motion, the generals 'formation is more majestic and majestic. It can be said that the Hundred Dragons Ladder is an excellent "viewing platform in motion."

When we reached the top of the mountain, we walked through a forest path and found an unknown viewing platform where we could view the Hundred Dragons Ladder up close.

I played on this quiet observation platform for a long time with my friends, watching the Hundred Dragons Ladder go up and down.

You don't need to queue for a long time to ride the Hundred Dragons Stairway. Because of the large capacity and fast speed, no matter how many tourists can digest it quickly.

There was no elevator at the beginning, and climbing the mountain took 2 to 3 hours, making the mountain road difficult to walk. Moreover, many elderly people and children are not suitable for long-term mountain climbing. Transportation such as cableways and environmentally friendly vehicles will be very dangerous and may even be stopped in heavy snow and heavy rain.

Sitting on the Hundred Dragons Stairway is really fast, stable and safe.

Walking along the way, because of the Hundred Dragons Ladder, the No. 1 Bridge in the World, Hallelujah Mountain, Ecstasy Terrace, Back Garden, etc. in Yuanjiajie Scenic Area are no longer far away.

The Ecstasy Platform is a spot that must not be missed:

Hallelujah Mountain is one of the "Three Thousand Wonders" in Zhangjiajie. It has a vertical height of about 150 meters. It stands tall in Zhangjiajie like a knife cut by an axe. It has the power of being indomitable, so it is also known as the Qiankun Pillar.

Along the boardwalk, you can appreciate the prototype of the floating mountain in the movie "Avatar" from multiple angles.

Crossing a hollow iron bridge, we went to the first bridge in the world.

The No. 1 Bridge in the World is a key scenic spot in Zhangjiajie.

A natural stone slab about 5 meters thick is "erected" on the two peaks across the sky, connecting the east and west peaks. The bridge is 350 meters high and is the highest stone bridge in Zhangjiajie. The height, span and thrills are rare in the world, so it is called the "first bridge in the world".

The railings of the world's first bridge were tied with red ribbons for praying, and we walked from this end of the bridge to that end.

Take the scenic shuttle bus from the World's First Bridge, return to the Hundred Dragons Ladder, and return to the foot of the mountain in 66 seconds. Then continue to take the bus and go to Jinbian River. Let's go play in the water!

Jinbian River is a winding and deep canyon that runs through the peaks and valleys. The stream is clear and clear. It is known as "one of the most beautiful canyons in the world."

Many people seem to have returned to childhood, playing until their bodies are soaked. This place is very suitable for parents and children, under the shade of the trees and above the spring water.

I returned to the gate of Wulingyuan Scenic Area from Jinbian River and played all day long. Let's go have a cup of coffee before going back. So I found a Uno Cafe at the entrance of the scenic area to sit down.

Order a cup of iced coffee, sit here with a few friends, admiring the photos they took. We discussed whether to go to Huangshi Village or Tianzi Mountain tomorrow... Because the tickets can still be used for three days.
