It has been famous for the Internet for a long time. It has been raining for a few days since I arrived in Zhangjiajie, so I put it on the days when I waited for the sunny weather. I thought I wouldn't slip while walking on the bridge, and I wanted to see how transparent the glass is and how deep it is under the bridge. Or, go bungee jumping or something. After all, there are still many places I haven't been to and it is impossible to come many times.

The sun under the mountains of Zhangjiajie was very hot and sunny when it came out. I took a break at noon and thought of starting from Wujiayu's B & B when it cooled down. After all, there was no shade on the bridge. Unexpectedly, I almost missed the 4 o'clock entry deadline, so there was definitely no time to enter the Grand Canyon from the glass bridge.

After putting on non-slip shoes, we enter the scenic area. There is a round red stage at the entrance of the glass bridge, facing the long bridge. It is probably used for performances during festivals. Many people are walking back. Are they like me? Can't go to the Grand Canyon? We can only take the glass bridge.

This glass bridge is built on the peaks on both sides of the Grand Canyon. It is the world's tallest and longest span glass bridge. The deck is all paved with transparent glass. In May 2015, tests on glass pressure damage, guardrail tension, wind tunnel and other tests began. Later, it was renamed Yuntiandu, opened in August 2016, and became a popular tourist attraction in Zhangjiajie. It seems that I came a little late. But it seems that no one knows about "Yuntiandu". They are all called "Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge".

Below the glass bridge is the valley bottom of more than 400 meters long. There are many streams and springs in the Grand Canyon, which are full of flying flows, integrating mountains, water, caves and lakes. It is known as the "Museum of Zhangjiajie Landforms", but it takes more than 2 hours to walk. The canyon is narrow and the walking time is long, which requires good physical strength.

It looks like this from the glass bridge.

Walking on the bridge, the blue sky and white clouds reflect down, as if walking in the clouds. From a different angle, you can see the abyss and canyon under your feet. There will always be people who are worried about the endurance of the glass, and many people are just like me. Height, legs go soft in an instant. Many friends come here just to experience this thrilling moment!

As long as you don't look into the distance and under your feet for a while, if you focus on the bridge for a while, take a few more steps, or sit down and rest for a while like her, your fear of heights will slowly disappear. I was also afraid at first, but when I walked back, I held my head high and sang.

If it really doesn't work, walk in a place where the sides are not glass. There are also volunteer safety officers on the bridge who will tell you how to eliminate your fear of heights and come to take care of you when you break down.

There are two bungee jumping points with the highest drop in the world under the center of the bridge. There are 4 jumping points, which can accommodate 30 people at the same time. After taking off, it touches the bottom for the first time in an average of 9 seconds, and then bounces and falls repeatedly. Short Video Most of the heart-breaking screams come from here. Unfortunately, I was late. The bungee jumping time was over, and there was only the whistling wind in the canyon. Make an appointment!

The glass bridge restricts traffic to 8000 people every day. In case of extreme weather such as major storms, the glass bridge may be closed. Except for wallets and mobile phones with mobile phone cases, no other items are allowed to be taken onto the bridge, and no one is allowed to be taken onto the bridge even if you are unwell or wearing high heels.

traffic information

1. There is a bus starting from Wulingyuan (Wulingyuan to Cili); if you depart from Zhangjiajie, you can take a bus (from urban area to Wulingyuan) and then transfer to Cili's line bus; in front of Guanghe Shopping Center in Zhangjiajie City, there is a line bus from urban area to Jiangya Hot Spring.

2. Driving by car from the Wujiayu sign gate for about 40 minutes. When you are approaching the scenic spot, someone on the roadside tells you not to stop.

3. I heard that it costs 80 yuan to take a taxi from Wujiayu.
