After seeing the magical mountains and rocks in the Yuan family's realm, water must be the source of agility of this landscape gallery. In the mountains and canyons, there is a clear stream winding between the peaks, under the dense forest, like a ribbon, bringing Zhangjiajie alive and giving the majestic peak forest aura.

Entering from the Wujiayu Ticket Station in Zhangjiajie, the eco-friendly vehicle arrives at the "Shuihuan Simen" Station, and you will find the entrance of Jinbian River. It is surrounded by mountains and shrouded in clouds and mist. It is a depression in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area and the exit of the stream. Jinbian River is very long, with two ends: Zhangjiajie Forest Park Ticket Station and Wulingyuan Ticket Station. As long as you buy a ticket for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, you can freely enter and exit Wulingyuan Scenic Area, including Jinbian River, within the 4-day validity period.

The Jinbian River is the most beautiful scenery in Wulingyuan. The core part is about 7.5 kilometers long. It originates from Tudiya in Zhangjiajie. It twists and turns from south to north, moves with the mountains, and winds between the peaks and valleys. Finally, it gathers with Longwei River, Yuyu River and Kandong River in the water. The general tour time is about two and a half to three hours. Along the way, there are Guimen Rock, Guanyin Sending Children, Pig Bajie Carrying Daughter-in-law, Drunken Arhat, Shenying Whip, Golden Whip Rock, Splitting Mountain to Save Mother, Candle Peak, Changshou Spring, Wenxing Rock, Zizukitan, Qianli Meeting, Nanmuping, Camel Peak and other scenic spots. I went upstream from the water around the four gates.

A stone road cuts through the dense forest and twists and turns in the direction of the stream. There are strange peaks on both sides. Playing birds and animals, ancient trees, leisurely fish, and the scenery looks very quiet. Walking through the peaks and valleys is better than swimming in a painting. No wonder the famous litterateur Mr. Shen Congwen praised her as "a girl from Zhangjiajie".

Along the way, there are many senior brothers hanging on the treetops in the woods, shouting through the hollow valley, which reminds people of Huaguo Mountain in "Journey to the West". On the other end of this walking path, there are indeed "Huaguo Mountain" and "Shuilian Cave". In the early TV series "Journey to the West" used it as the location of Huaguo Mountain.

There is also the Golden Whip Rock, where the name "Golden Whip Creek" originated. It is like an eagle protecting its young. It is majestic and protects the "Golden Whip" day and night. It was just that the rain was too heavy that day and it didn't end. Take a picture of this stele as a souvenir.

There is a thin layer of fog on the Jinbian River Canyon in the rain, and the green stream is more poetic, like an ink painting. In summer, the temperature here is about 10 degrees different from that outside the mountains, making it one of the coolest hiking routes in summer.

Interested people observed the stream carefully. It is said that this high-quality stream maintains a kind of "baby fish" that sounds like a child crying. Anyone who discoveres it can report to the scenic spot and will be sent to another scenic spot,"Baofeng Lake". There is a state-invested giant salamander rescue center, known as the "Hometown of Baby Fish.

Among the evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved forests in the Jinbianxi area, there are the most diverse species of nanmu. There are 16 species of nanmu in Zhangjiajie, including Xiangnan, Lichuan Runnan, Hongye, Photinia glabrifera, Photinia glabrifera, Photinia tomifolia, Photinia tomenii, etc., especially Xiangnan is the most precious. There is also a strange-shaped flower everywhere along the Jinbian River. Its shape is very similar to a lobster. It is called a lobster flower. When it is ripe, it will fly away.

The flowers and plants along the stream are delicious, birds sing and orioles sing, and shallow stone beaches. It is also a favorite place for girls to play.

Zhangjiajie has "three thousand strange peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters". The Jinbian River brings into full play the mountains and rivers of Zhangjiajie to the fullest. Mr. Wu Guanzhong, the famous painter and propagandist of Zhangjiajie at that time, once praised it as "a fairytale world" here.
