1. At present, most scenic spots in Zhangjiajie adopt the real-name ticket reservation model. If you want to go and play, you must arrange tickets in advance, especially the Tianmen Mountain and Glass Bridge scenic spots. These two scenic spots have limited daily reception and often meet tickets.

2. Accommodation will be tight during May Day, but Zhangjiajie scenic spots are relatively scattered, so you cannot book hotels blindly. Otherwise, I booked the wrong hotel and itinerary, and I may have to go back. It is recommended to plan in advance. If you come to Zhangjiajie and don't know how to plan your trip, you can make it up.

3. The most interesting and essential attraction in Zhangjiajie is the Forest Park Scenic Area. It will be relatively large. It is recommended that you also play for two days. If you have two days, you can go directly to the Forest Park. If you have three days, you can visit the "Grand Canyon, Glass Bridge" and "Tianmen Mountain, Glass Plank Road". You can visit these two attractions for one day, but there is no need to visit them all. You can choose one. If you have four days, you can go to Phoenix to play.

4. The diet in the scenic spot is relatively expensive, so it is recommended to bring some meat snacks to satisfy your cravings.

5. On the journey to Zhangjiajie, whether you are driving yourself or taking a train, you may encounter people who take the initiative to introduce the situation in Zhangjiajie. For example, some fake traffic police ask you to take friends or relatives back to Zhangjiajie, or tell you which four-star and five-star hotels to book. On the train, there may be people from some hotels or tourist service centers who are said to provide you with travel advice. There is also a taxi at the exit that someone said that it can take you to the scenic spot for ten yuan. Don't pay attention to these, these are all scams.

6. Hotels in Zhangjiajie do not provide toiletries, so you must prepare them yourself.

7. Zhangjiajie has many winding roads in the mountainous area of western Hunan, and the urban planning is not very complete. There will be few parking spaces. Therefore, it is recommended that you not drive to the scenic spots by yourself. You can park your car in the city and take a car there

8. It is best to have as few luggage as possible. Remember to bring umbrellas or rainproof underwear, or you can buy disposable raincoats locally. The weather in mountainous areas is unpredictable. In summer, remember to bring sunscreen and anti-mosquito water, and prepare some disinfection. Use wet tissue, band-aids, anti-inflammatory tablets, anti-leakage tablets (to prevent acclimatization) and other simple medicines, and it is best to prepare non-slip sneakers for shoes.

9. It is best to have several people traveling together, so that the cost of renting a car can be shared and each other can take care of.

10. Remember to bring your ID card when you go out. Tickets for Zhangjiajie Scenic Area require ID cards to collect tickets. Friends who buy discounted tickets remember to bring relevant certificates.

11. There are many cable cars in Tianmen Mountain, Glass Bridge and Forest Park scenic spots. When riding, pay attention to heart disease. Tourists with high blood pressure or tourists with excessive pins cannot ride. Do not extend any part of your body out of the car after getting on the bus. If the cable car is stopped urgently due to power failure, unstable voltage, mechanical failure of the cable car or thunder during operation, pay attention to remain calm and wait for the staff to take measures.

12. Don't miss the detailed food. The local area is mainly hot and sour, and you should pay attention to those who cannot eat spicy food.

13. Most of the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area has mountain views. Except for designated places, smoking is not allowed in other places in the scenic area. If you are discovered, you will be fined 200 yuan.

14. There will be many monkey groups in the forest park. Don't tease them at will. Avoid scratching the scenic spot and try not to carry plastic bags. Monkeys may come and grab them.

15. Zhangjiajie's urban development is relatively late, and hotel standards are far behind those in large cities. At present, Zhangjiajie hotels that have responded to the National Environmental Protection Code no longer provide free toiletries, and everyone makes preparations in advance.

Zhangjiajie has no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer. It is like spring all year round. The best time to travel to Zhangjiajie is from April to October every year, especially the two months of April and October. At this time, Zhangjiajie has the most beautiful scenery in spring. You can visit Huanglong Cave at Youshili Gallery. Autumn is the time when kiwis, tangerine and other fruits mature.

There are frequent showers in Zhangjiajie in July every year. When it rains, the mountain roads will be slippery and fog will appear in the mountains. Therefore, when climbing mountains, you must pay attention to the best time to travel in Zhangjiajie after an hour or two after the rain. At this time, you can see the smoke lingering around, like a fairyland. If the sun shines out of the fog, you can also see the looming mountains amidst the clouds. It sometimes snows in Zhangjiajie in winter, but the infrastructure construction of the scenic area is relatively complete, so the mountains will not be closed. However, the mountain altitude in Zhangjiajie is generally more than 1000 meters, so the climate on the mountain is relatively cold after snowing. If you travel at this time, you should remember to keep warm.

During the tourist time in Zhangjiajie, the Spring Festival, May Day summer vacation, and National Day are the peak tourist seasons every year.
