▲ Entrance of Baofeng Lake Scenic Area

It was already 16:30 when we arrived at the entrance of the scenic area, and the sun had not yet set. There are two ways to reach the lake after entering the scenic area. One is to take the scenic area's minibus (30 yuan/person round trip), and the other is to climb mountains. We chose to climb the mountain because we took the bus to the drop-off terminal of the cruise ship and had to take the same bus back. It took us 20 minutes to walk to the cruise ship terminal by the lake, and we spent 10 minutes climbing the mountain.

After waiting for a few minutes at the cruise ship terminal, more than a dozen individual passengers arrived and set sail. In addition to the captain of the ship, there is also a guide on board. The commentator is a little girl with a sharp tongue. She sometimes introduces attractions, sometimes something goes wrong, and sometimes tricks up the song.

In 1984, Baofeng Lake Scenic Area opened to the public. In 1992, Baofeng Lake was included in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List as part of Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

During the half hour on the boat, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Baofeng Lake, learned a Tujia greeting-"Yo--hey--", and enjoyed the Tujia Amei and the minority (Han) eldest brother. Touching love songs.

After getting off the boat, I took a picture on the dock and headed down the mountain. The road down the mountain is a man-built platform that spins down in the depression of the two mountains.

The waterfall at the entrance is the outlet of Baofeng Lake.

There are no buses after leaving the scenic area. There are a few tourist buses and I want to go over and ask if they can take us to the hotel. At this time, a taxi came and negotiated with the driver to deliver it to the hotel door for 12 yuan. However, the driver kept muttering that we had cut it too hard, and we were speechless. The driver was very happy when he arrived for 10 yuan. He even introduced us to Tong and left a phone call to pick us up. If it weren't for the fact that it was a little late and we just happened to bump into us, we wouldn't have taken the bus. Later, a few minutes away from the hotel, we discussed with us because it was difficult to turn around when the car entered and exited. We agreed to his request and got off the bus. First, we didn't want to listen to the driver's nagging, and second, we wanted to go shopping and find a restaurant.

When we arrived at the hotel and entered the restaurant, there were many people dining, most of whom were teams. They wanted to sit down and have a quiet dinner, but it was too noisy. The waiter recommended us to have a buffet for 30 yuan per person. At a glance, we could choose a few dishes from our choice, and the tour guides had almost taken them. So he decided to quit the restaurant and walk out of the hotel. I found a small local restaurant nearby. It cost more than a hundred yuan for one meat, one vegetable and one soup, and I ate it very well. I decided to come back tomorrow because there are local vegetarian dishes here and we don't have them in Shanghai. I come here to eat one or two of them every day.

After dinner, I bought some fruits, kiwis, and local grapefruit and returned to the hotel.
