Wulingyuan has a lot of customs. I love her science fiction mystery and street fireworks!
I used to be a person who couldn't even tell Zhangjiajie, Zhangjiakou, and Zhangjiagang apart. Many years ago, I knew about Zhangjiajie because of the movie "Avatar". The floating mountain in the movie was full of mystery. Later, I learned that its prototype was the Qiankun Pillar of Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. I haven't had the chance to meet him for many years, but this time I had an opportunity to go to Hunan. The first thing I thought of was to see this wonderful "Avatar World".
I was heading towards the floating mountain, but I actually saw another spectacular artificial landscape here-the Hundred Dragons Ladder. With some unknown power, it naturally integrated into this 380-million-year-old Wuling Qifeng, without any abrupt, like a mysterious ladder leading to the outer planet world. In fact, it is the best way to the Yuanjia Realm, the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan.
Next, I will focus on taking stock of the most worthwhile landscapes during this trip.
1. Zhangjiajie Hundred Dragons Ladder
The first place is the Hundred Dragons Stairway we just mentioned. The Bailong Ladder is magnificent, with a vertical height difference of 335 meters and a running height of 326 meters. It consists of a 154-meter solid well in the mountain body and a 172-meter steel structure derrick attached to the mountain. It uses three double-layer fully exposed sightseeing elevators to operate in parallel and in separate units. The running speed is 5.25 meters/second. Therefore, it is known as "the highest, fastest and largest elevator in the world" and recorded in the Guinness World Records, but these records have not been surpassed so far. What is the significance of this means of transportation? First of all, it pushed the peerless scenery of Yuanjiajie, the No. 1 Bridge in the world, the Quizhuang Terrace, the Sky Hanging White Lian, Wulong Village, Yangjiajie and other unparalleled scenery from behind the scenes to the stage.
The gathering of divine weapons seen from the Hundred Dragons Stairway is so spectacular that people worship!
Secondly, it would be a pity if you still regard it as just a means of transportation. It has long become an Internet celebrity building that has to check in when coming to Zhangjiajie. It is a magical landscape in itself!
Hanging on the wall of the mountain, it is so beautiful!
2. the yuanjiajie
After taking the Hundred Dragons Stairway out, you will reach Yuanjiajie for a short walk. Standing on the observation deck of Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, you can have a panoramic view of the Three Thousand Strange Peak, which is majestic and dangerous, and has different looks.
The air in Yuanjiajie is very fresh (I heard that the number of negative oxygen ions per cubic meter of air in some areas of Yuanjiajie is nearly 100,000 times higher than the usual environment. No wonder it is so comfortable). It is recommended to go out early. Not only can you see the sunrise, but you can also breathe the freshest air and feel the beauty of the world in minutes. It's worth it!
Eccentricity Terrace
It is said that when tourists arrive at the Quizhuang Terrace, they are all obsessed with their souls and do not know where they live, so they have the reputation of Quizhuang Terrace. Stand at the Weizhuo Terrace Observation Deck and you can have a panoramic view of thousands of scenes. The mountain peaks and stone pillars are like tables, chairs, buildings, and pavilions. Their shapes are strange and beyond words.
Ecstasy Terrace is one of the best viewing platforms in Wulingyuan. Standing here, you can look around the world and inspect the peaks. Your soul can easily be attracted by the beautiful scenery in front of you! Magic really cannot be ignored!
qiankunzhu
Finally, I have arrived in the science fiction world that I have been longing for! The Qiankun Pillar in front of me seems to be different from the impression of it in my mind. It is top-heavy but has stood for thousands of years without falling down. The traces of each blade and axe on its body give it a bit more profound feeling of tempering between heaven and earth. I can imagine how it swayed the green pine trees above my head and played with the wind and rain. It understands life more clearly than we do.
Some people say that maybe it is too close to the observation deck, and even the slightest folds can be seen clearly, but the world only sees its skin, and few people go to understand its soul. In short, it has not let me down.
5. the first bridge in the world
This lush forest hides this natural stone slab about two to three meters wide, five meters thick, and about 20 meters across. There is no doubt that this is the masterpiece of the creator. It waved its big hand and paved a smooth road between the two peaks for people to pass through. Its relative height is nearly 400 meters. Standing on the bridge and looking under the bridge, people who are afraid of heights will tremble, and those who are bold will feel like discovering the New World.
The mountain at the other end of the bridge is called Suoshan. Here you can pray and make wishes. Couples can buy a lover's place, lock the lock symbolizing love on the iron net, and pray for long-term and happy love.
The scenic spots in Yuanjiajie are relatively concentrated. Starting from the back garden, they are the back garden-Chizhuo Terrace-Qiankun Pearl-The First Bridge in the World. If there are signs, just follow the signs. The No. 1 Bridge in the world is the station for the mountaintop bus. Take an environmentally friendly vehicle here.
6. yangjiajie
Yangjiajie is a rising star in Wulingyuan. The scenery is beautiful, but the road is really difficult to walk. The scenic spots in Yangjiajie Scenic Area are scattered. The route is not circular. It is roughly a "Y" shape. It is divided into 2 lines, one on the left and one on the right. The left line goes to the Sky and the Sky Corridor, and the right line goes to Wulong Village and Tianbo Mansion. Time is tight, and those with poor physical strength can only go to Wulong Village and Tianbo Prefecture on the right. Those with better physical strength can finish Tianbo Prefecture and return to the branching point the same way to go to the One-Step Sky and the Sky Corridor on the left.
Halfway up the mountain, the house with a black roof is Wulong Village, and below is the abyss. Friends with poor physical strength and timid really don't recommend coming.
The real attraction of the Yangjiajie lies in its overwhelming peaks and walls!
Peak walls are lined up one after another in an orderly manner, forming a natural Great Wall, which is amazing!
7. tianzishan
Tianzi Mountain is also unique. It is famous for its stone forest wonders. Countless stone peaks are like swords and halberds, standing among them, and they seem to be surrounded by thousands of troops, with an unparalleled momentum.
For me, this mountain is sharper. I prefer the round and thick mountain of the Yuan Family Realm. It is the wisdom formed by that mountain over hundreds of millions of years. It is like an adult who has swallowed up grievances and can support the world.
golden whip Creek
Be sure to rush early when you come to Jinbian River. Get up early the next day and enter the scenic spot from the sign gate, and start visiting Jinbian River at the four gates of the water. It has a total length of 5.7KM and is the best place to walk in the morning, listen to the birds, see the swimming fish, and breathe the fresh air in the morning. It is very pleasant.
You see, Jinbianxi is like a graceful girl, quietly waiting for tourists to come to her. Her quiet and gentle appearance is like her first love, and everything is heart-warming.
Xibu Street
Fortunately, I wisely lived near Xibu Street in Wulingyuan. Not only was it within walking distance to the Wulingyuan Sign Gate, but the commerce here was also very prosperous.
The sun sprinkled gold on the stone road, and the wooden buildings were more vivid under the embellishment of red lanterns.
The sky is clear and clear, and the waterwheel, the landmark building of Xibu Street, rotates gently in the soft wind.
The streets dotted with neon are so romantic, but there is no one at my hand...
Have some wine to comfort a single dog. When you come to Zhangjiajie next year, I hope you can join hands with someone.

It is said that the fireworks in the world soothe the hearts of ordinary people. All my bad moods have been cured here.
Wulingyuan has a lot of customs. I love her science fiction mystery and street fireworks! I will come again. By then, I hope I will be an interesting young man, holding the girl I like in my right hand ~

Transportation and accommodation Tips:
1. How to get to Zhangjiajie?
Plane: The plane can arrive in Zhangjiajie in about 1 hour and 10 minutes, but it depends on the specific date. The flight schedule is not fixed, booked in advance, and prices often fluctuate.
Train: Generally about 5 hours, hard seat price is 54.5-83.5 (the specific price depends on the number of trains)
Car: It takes about 4 hours by bus from Changsha West Bus Station/East Station to Zhangjiajie, and the price is 119 yuan.
For safety reasons, it is recommended to choose a train when going out. After the opening of the Guizhou-Zhangjiakou-Changzhou high-speed railway at the end of this year, you can choose a high-speed railway. It only takes 3 hours to reach Zhangjiajie.
2. How can I get to Wulingyuan when I arrive in Zhangjiajie?
Aircraft: There is only one airport in Zhangjiajie. Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport is a 4D civil transportation airport. It is the second largest international airport in Hunan Province and one of the airports with the most beautiful natural scenery in China. The whole journey from the airport to Wulingyuan is about 39.1 kilometers, which is not far. You can take a taxi and the cost is more than 100 yuan.
Train: Zhangjiajie Station is located in Guanliping, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province. It is the largest railway station in northwest Hunan, Hunan Province. After getting off the train, you can take a taxi for 10 yuan or take the No. 6 bus to the urban bus station. At the urban bus station, there is a minibus from Zhangjiajie to Wulingyuan. It costs 10 yuan/person and takes about 40 minutes.
If you take a taxi directly after getting off the train, the cost is expected to be around 120 yuan!
Self-driving: You don't need to go to the urban area by driving by yourself from Changzhang Expressway. You can reach Wuling Yuancheng District shortly after going directly from the intersection of Yanghe Expressway.
Note: After leaving the station or airport, don't trust black cars that solicit passengers. It's best to take a bus or get a taxi yourself.
3. Where is the most convenient place to live when you arrive in Wulingyuan?
Accommodation can go to Wuling Yuancheng District, which is very close to the Wujiayu Ticket Station. It takes a few minutes by taxi. Basically all B & Bs in the scenic area are closed.
Notes on playing:
1. Buy a 225-yuan Wulingyuan ticket and you can spend four days in Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Off-season fares will be implemented in the off-season. Elevator tickets for the Bailong Stairway in the scenic area are not included and need to be purchased separately. It is recommended to purchase online in advance for holidays.
It is best to buy some ham sausage, bread and water outside before entering the scenic area.
3. Don't mess with monkeys! You will meet many monkeys in Wulingyuan. When you see a monkey, it is best to put your food into your bag. Don't let the monkey see it, it will really snatch it from you!
4. Be careful when traveling outside. Don't trust some black cars and black tourists. There is no free lunch in the world. Choose regular transportation when traveling.
5. Bring more clothes. Huanglong Cave is a bit cold. Friends who love to take photos bring an extra battery and an extra memory card for their cameras.
