It is said that Zhangjiajie is a "reduced wonderland, enlarged bonsai", so let's go to trace the magical Hallelujah Mountain in the movie "Avatar" and see what the Tianmen Cave, which can be climbed into an airplane, looks like? Experience how thrilling it is to experience the glass bridge that explodes the circle of friends again? It has been decided to start, but how should the route be arranged? What practical experience reference are there? Please read down.

Travel to Zhangjiajie is generally recommended for 3 to 4 days. If you have extra time, you can visit a few more scenic spots. Everyone still chooses as appropriate, but if you don't have much time, you can choose a few highlights to visit.

1. The main scenic spot of Zhangjiajie is generally two days away. It is a must-visit place to travel to Zhangjiajie (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park). Within the scenic spot: Jinbianxi, Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Shili Gallery, etc.).

2. It is the scenic spots around Zhangjiajie, such as: Baofeng Lake, Tianmen Mountain (Glass Plank Road), Huanglong Cave, Grand Canyon (Glass Bridge), Mengdong River Rafting, Jiutian Cave, Maoyan River Rafting, Tujia Style Garden, Furong Town, Fenghuang Ancient City, there are wonderful performances in the evening: Charming Xiangxi, Tianmen Fox Fairy, it is worth seeing. Depending on the time arrangement, the surrounding scenic spots will depend on your own interests. The specific ones to see will depend on your time!

The Zhangjiajie National Forest Park has a large scenic spot, many and complex forks, and scattered attractions. They are all playing in the mountains. Itinerary planning is very important, so you must be accompanied by a guide to introduce you to play better. If tourists play by themselves and can't control the time, they just bother to make strategies that seem good, but in reality, it's not that much. The scenic area is big, and taking the wrong road will disrupt the plan. Not to mention wasting time, it's tiring. It's also troublesome and laborious. There are many uncertain factors during the journey, and you will miss a lot of key attractions. Without a guide, you can easily be deceived. Food, accommodation, and tours will increase prices, which will cost more than group tours. For example, temporary accidents occur. It is also not convenient to handle quickly. For many tourists, it is basically blind people touching elephants.

Important note: Tianmen Mountain tickets are booked in advance under a real-name system, and a time-sharing policy is implemented. The ticket has a check-in time period written on it, and you can enter the scenic spot during that time period. Nowadays, there are online ticket purchases (closed during peak seasons or holidays, and no tickets are sold). Tickets can only be picked up for the fourth period (that is, tickets from 11:00 to 12:00, and priority tour groups in the morning). After 11:00, it means that no matter when you pick up your tickets, the tickets you get will be after 11:00. Tourists who are not in a hurry can get their tickets early in the morning and wait until after 11 o'clock before entering the mountains. There are only two ways to get in early in the morning: 1. Go directly to the Tianmen Mountain ticket office to buy tickets (it is recommended to go there after 5 o'clock and issue tickets to buy tickets to enter the mountains at 7 o'clock. Usually, the existing tickets in the scenic spot will be sold out around 7 o'clock);2. Participate in a day trip and get up early to get tickets and leave it to the tour guide. While someone picked up the ticket, the tourist bus rushed to various hotels to pick up people. During peak season: Take the cableway to the top of the mountain and go down the mountain, and queue up at different times to pick up the number. Note: Tianmen Mountain online tickets are limited daily and no refunds will be refunded on the same day. You must be cautious when booking tickets, book and cherish them

Tickets for the Grand Canyon + Glass Bridge are booked in advance under a real-name system and implement a time-sharing policy. The ticket has a check-in time period written on it, and you can enter the scenic spot during that time period. Tourists who purchase tickets will enter the scenic spot within the time period on the ticket with their ID card. They will bear the losses caused by being late and being unable to swipe their ID card to enter the park. Note: Online tickets are limited every day, and no penalty will be deducted after booking. No refund will be made on the same day. You must be cautious when booking, book and cherish it!

Warm reminder: Traveling in Zhangjiajie, from April to October, summer vacations and holidays are crowded with tourists. You must book in advance

Transport in Zhangjiajie

Airport: After getting off the plane, there is a No. 4 bus outside the airport to the city. It is 1 yuan per person. In the peak season, it is 2 yuan because the air conditioning is turned on, but the number is not many. (8:00-18:00) If you can't wait for the bus, it costs between 40 and 50 yuan to take a taxi to the city. If you want to be cheaper, it's best to turn right after leaving the airport and walk 600 meters to the airport gate. There will be many taxis outside the airport. They only cost 30 yuan. The ones in the airport are expensive because they have to pay parking fees.

Railway Station: At the exit of Zhangjiajie Railway Station, there will be many uniformed or ununiformed people holding loudspeakers who recommend a few days tour to you. At this time, you don't have to bother with them, because they are the so-called travel agency people hanging near the railway station, also known as "towing". The best way at this time is to go straight to the big square on the left outside the exit. There are buses in the square that go directly to the city. Bus No. 5 and No. 6 are both for 1 yuan per person and the air conditioner is 2 yuan per person (22:00---06: 00 is 2 yuan per person). To get to the Forest Park Scenic Area, the bus station is 50 meters to the left of the square of the train station. Take the BUS to the scenic area at the bus station. The bus to the Forest Park costs 12 yuan/person and 40 minutes. The bus to Wulingyuan costs 14 yuan, which runs every 10 minutes. After arriving at Wulingyuan, another taxi is 5 yuan. You can go to the sign gate (that is, the ticket station there) or take the Wulingyuan Bus No. 1 and 2 bus to the sign gate. The bus to the Tianzishan Ticket Station costs 18 yuan. The journey takes 1 and a half hours, and leaves every half an hour.

Bus Station: There is the bus station next to the train station. You can see the bus station when you exit the train station square. Go 50 meters to the left, and then change at the bus station to the scenic spot. The BUS to the Forest Park Ticket Station costs 12 yuan/person and 40 minutes to get there; The bus to Wulingyuan is 14 yuan, both of which run every 10 minutes. After arriving at Wulingyuan, it takes a taxi for 5 yuan. You can go to the sign gate (that is, the ticket station there) or take Wulingyuan Bus No. 1 and 2 to the sign gate; The bus to the Tianzishan Ticket Station costs 18 yuan.

If you haven't made a reservation online, you get off the plane, come to the train or bus station, and the blank expression will be written on your face. At this time, many people will come to you, saying that they are from a certain travel agency, or say that you are from a certain inn in the scenic area, or say that you are an experienced tour guide. Nowadays, in the Internet age, regular travel agencies and tour guides do not compete for customers at airports, bus stations, and railway stations. They all have their own fixed customer sources. These people all solicit customers for some travel agencies. The soliciting customers for a travel agency are commission on a per-person basis. The more people there are, the more they are raised. They are generally middle-aged and elderly people in their grades. If you negotiate with them or fail to negotiate, others cannot join in, and other tour guides cannot pick you up. Why don't you hire a tour guide for the rest? Why don't you play by yourself, otherwise they will follow you and haunt you all the way. As a tourist, no one wants such a thing to happen. When they come, they come in good spirits, but when they come back, they come back disappointed.

Self-driving: Since the opening of Changzhang Expressway in 2007, it has been very convenient to travel by car to Zhangjiajie. Basically, there are highways from all over the country to Changsha. Changsha to Zhangjiajie takes two hours to walk the Changchang Expressway, and then take the Changzhang Expressway. It takes two hours, a total of four hours to reach it.

Self-driving friends should note that the first thing those guests need to do is to get in your car before you reach the scenic spot (people have been watching you since you got on the highway from Changsha). At the exit of the Zhangjiajie Expressway, there are many fake traffic police, wearing uniforms, stopping cars. Please don't be deceived by fake traffic police. As long as you don't drive a police car, you can ignore them as long as you don't drive a police car and are fake traffic police. Ignore the pretty girls waving at you by the roadside or the rides given by the eldest sister. Most of them use the excuse of helping you arrange accommodation and tourist receptions. Now a new form has emerged: introducing you to star-rated hotels at a very low price, and they will discount the money to help you book a room (for example, a four-star hotel room costs at least 280 yuan, and they may buy it for you for 160 yuan. In this super affordable situation, you will definitely not be tempted), thereby giving you a sense of trust and setting yourself up step by step. If you don't want to cause trouble, you should refuse with confidence and never hit on you! Self-driving friends should know that no matter who it is, including traffic police or government personnel, beautiful A-Mei, if he asks to get in your car or asks you to help take someone to Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan, he will definitely change his identity and recruit you to join the gang.

Only Zhangjiajie has special food

1. Tujia Sanxia Pot: The must-order special dishes for the first time in Zhangjiajie are made with walnut meat, fat sausage, pork belly, bacon, chicken, tripe or ribs as the main ingredients. They are usually chosen to match the three ingredients to make a dry pot or a soup pot; The dry pot has no soup, similar to a spicy fragrant pot, which is more spicy and has a strong flavor. People who cannot eat spicy food should inform the boss in advance to reduce the spicy food. The general portions are very practical and enough for three people. You can taste this dish in ordinary local restaurants for about 40-90 yuan/serving.

2. Zhangjiajie rice noodles: Zhangjiajie people's classic breakfast can be served with chicken offal, mutton offal, stir-fried pork, small fat intestines and other side dishes. The taste is simply too delicious.

3. Zhangjiajie Cold Noodles: A classic snack from Zhangjiajie people, special noodles, add salt, oil, sauce, vinegar, mountain pepper oil, a few cooked peanuts and other seasonings, and then stir to the finished product. The taste is fresh and spicy. In summer, there will be found in the streets of Zhangjiajie.

4. Tujia bacon: Bacon is a common table dish in Zhangjiajie. It is usually stir-fried with garlic sprouts, pepper, spring bamboo shoots, potato chips, etc. There is also bacon stir-fried jueba cake. The taste is particularly fragrant, and the meat is compact, fat but not greasy. The salty and fragrant taste is very good for the rice.

5. Kiwi fruit: Kiwi fruit is also a major specialty of Zhangjiajie. The fruits are tender, juicy and fragrant. The "kiwi juice" made with it is also sweet, sour and pleasant, extremely nutritious, can be bought in supermarkets, affordable and delicious.

Of course, there are many stone steps in the scenic area. Many tourists who are physically exhausted suggest taking the means of transportation in the scenic area. In order to save a little money, some tourists can walk almost twenty to thirty thousand steps a day. You can imagine the amount of physical energy consumed. In the end, the legs you walk don't belong to you. There are also some tourists wandering around the scenic spots without any clue, which is a waste of time, money and physical energy. There are not many scenic spots to visit, so it is better to book a local tour for a few days and be led by a tour guide to have a more organized and comfortable experience in a limited time. If you need to, you can contact the local tour guide to customize the DIY route. You are responsible for smiling and I am responsible for taking photos!

In fact, from the bottom of my mind, there are traps everywhere in life, not to mention that when you go to a place where people are unfamiliar with the land, there are no traps in any tourist area, and scammers can be found everywhere, not just Zhangjiajie. In fact, I want to say that many traps can be avoided. If you don't take small advantages, you won't have an unpleasant journey. If you don't prepare beforehand, you will regret it too late after the incident. If you book a local guide pick up online before you go out, you won't be fooled.

In addition, in the order of travel to Hunan, I personally recommend Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang scenic spots. Visit Zhangjiajie first and then Fenghuang, because Zhangjiajie requires climbing mountains, which is quite physically strenuous, and Fenghuang can just have a rest. After that, whether you take a train, fly or drive yourself, you won't feel tired. Changsha urban area can be placed before or after without problems.

precautions

The temperature difference between the scenic area and the urban area is about 5 degrees. The less luggage, the better and the lighter the better. It is best to bring umbrellas or rainproof underwear (you can also buy a raincoat locally for 3- 5 yuan per piece). Because the weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Be sure to bring good anti-mosquito water in summer. Prepare some simple medicines such as wet tissues, band-aids, anti-inflammatory tablets, and anti-leakage tablets (to prevent acclimatization) for disinfection; wear non-slip sneakers for shoes, and the mobile phone battery must be fully charged to avoid being unable to contact. Zhangjiajie is famous for its mountains, so it spends most of the time climbing, so everyone must choose flat shoes, preferably ones that have been worn through, so that they won't grind their feet. Neither inns nor hotels provide disposable toiletries, so it is best to bring them with you or buy them locally. Be sure to remember the phone number of the tour guide during the trip. There are many people in the scenic area. If you encounter any problems, it is convenient to contact the tour guide to solve the problem for you in time.

Zhangjiajie, which has always been known for its rich tourism resources, has very trivial matters to pay attention to. I will only combine my many years of experience living there to give you some practical information, hoping to help you on your travel; if there are any questions you don't understand, you can consult me.
