Thanks to the high-speed rail, motor train and railway network extending in all directions, we can save us a lot of worries about day and night and travel. Two city-states thousands of miles away can realize spatial relocation in a few hours, from my city to Wuhan, then to Changsha, and finally to Zhangjiajie, the first stop of the Xiaoxiang tour, to explore the unique charm of this city surrounded by strange mountains.
There are many legendary stories in history about the name of the city of Zhangjiajie, and there are two mainstream accounts that have been passed down. One is that it is said that after Liu Bang, the Gaozu of the Han Dynasty, pacified the world, Zhang Liang, the founding hero, fled here to save his life, leaving behind a descendant of Zhang Shi, so it is called Zhangjiajie. Another way of saying is that during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Wancong, a general of the court, defended this place and awarded him the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park area as a fief. As a result, this generation became the hereditary land of the Zhang family, and people named it Zhangjiajie after their surname.

As a world natural heritage site certified by UNESCO, Zhangjiajie is well-known both at home and abroad, and one of the core areas of her natural scenery, Wulingyuan National Natural Forest Park, has also been known to future generations because of Tao Yuanming's article "The Story of Peach Blossom Spring". "During the Jin Dynasty and Taiyuan Dynasty, Wuling people used fishing as a business." This is the mainstream saying of the origin of the place names in Wulingyuan District today.
Due to the historical origin of surnames, Zhangjiajie's core scenic spots also include Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie, the most famous of which is Yuanjiajie. As the location of the blockbuster "Avatar" that once broke the box office record of "Titanic", the strange peaks in the Yuan Family's boundary stand tall. Coupled with the blessing of the Hundred Dragons Ladder, the world's highest outdoor mountain climbing elevator certified by the Guinness World Records, Yuanjiajie has become a must-visit place for Chinese and foreign tourists visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

It is approaching noon by taking the high-speed train from Changsha to Zhangjiajie. The half-day tour time makes us have to make a choice for this trip to Zhangjiajie. After all, it is too big and the mountains are high and the roads are long. Even if there are scenic spots, there is a shuttle bus that runs through various scenic spots, but it is impossible to tour the entire scenic spot in such a short time.

When epidemic prevention and control is completely liberalized, we can foresee the peak of tourists that will usher in during the May Day holiday. Fortunately, we entered the park at noon, and the traffic was not too much. When we entered the park and waves of travel teams walked around you, you could truly feel the pressure brought by the gathering of people.

From the Hundred Dragons Stairway upwards, we felt the rapid climb in 88 seconds. When we climbed to the top of the mountain, the dangerous peaks with different looks rose from the ground in front of us. The magical craftsmanship of nature and the gifts given by mankind have given these peaks suddenly become alive. Endless stories to tell and endless beautiful scenery to see. Thank you to the heavens for making Zhangjiajie, which was originally forecast for rain, still effective when we climbed the mountain. Otherwise, we would not see anything among the mountains and mist!
Returning from the Hundred Dragons Ladder, we went down to check in the Shili Gallery, took the Internet celebrity train, and looked up along the way to admire the vivid peaks and strange rocks that were endowed with various beautiful stories.
The first day of Zhangjiajie's trip was not just a sea of tourists from all over the country, but also the innocent monkeys that could be seen everywhere. They have long been accustomed to the appearance of humans, and if you don't pay attention, the delicious food will be exposed and you may become the target of their robbery. If these are trivial, those who take close photos and are "beaten" by monkeys are nothing new!

Scenery is everywhere. When the scenery is infused with some legendary stories, it becomes even more attractive. Zhangjiajie, a treasure land of feng shui and a natural beauty, coupled with the bizarre story of "The Peach Blossom Garden" written by Mr. Wu Liu, it will be even more mysterious in the Eastern world!
