See Zhangjiajie again (Travel Essay)

I always thought that I was from Xiangxi because I had an inseparable Xiangxi complex.

When I was young, I went to Zhijiang to build the Hunan-Guizhou Railway. When I was a literary and artistic soldier, I passed by Phoenix. When I traveled to Wangcun and Zhangjiajie, I always felt cordial and familiar, and I felt familiar.

But it was really my first time going there. This is strange. Could it be that he really came here in his previous life?

I love reading Pu Songling's "Strange Stories from a Strange Story from a Lonely Studio". There are many articles in the old man's chapter on fairy fox and ghosts that write about someone who can remember events from a previous life. Looking straight at it makes me stand on end.

But when you think about it, it's not surprising.

My mother is from Changde, and I was born in Changde. After my father went south, he suppressed bandits in Xiangxi, and Changde belongs to Xiangxi in the concept of Greater Xiangxi, so naturally I am also from Xiangxi.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, my family and I came on a "go-go" trip, and the destination was Zhangjiajie.

In the Expressway Hot Market Service Area, there is a consultation desk that introduces tourist accommodation in scenic spots. I asked about Huangshizhai and other place names. The little girl said you must have been here.

I said, too many. You were definitely not born when you first came here. That was in the mid-1980s.

The little girl was speechless when she heard this, saying that things were very different now.

We stayed in Wulingyuan Scenic Area. There was still some time in the afternoon, so I went to visit Shili Gallery first.

Affected by the epidemic, there are not too many people in the scenic area, and there is no need to queue for tickets and buses, giving people a feeling of relaxation.

It is worth mentioning that people over the age of 65 can get free, and young people can also get half the ticket. This can save a lot of money, and it also shows that the scenic spot is not easy.

The sudden outbreak in the scenic spot in July this year hit Zhangjiajie so hard that many travel enthusiasts shouted affectionately: "Zhangjiajie, I owe you a ticket!"

Now that the epidemic has eased, Zhangjiajie is also calling affectionately: "My friend, I finally hope to see you!"

The house we stayed in was in good condition and not expensive. When you get up in the morning, you can overlook the peaks of Wulingyuan.

After entering the scenic spot again the next day, our route was to walk through Jinbian River from Shuiguan to Simen, to Dayang Bar Square, then to Huangshizhai Cableway Station, to Huangshizhai, and then to Huangshizhai. After taking a big circle around Huangshizhai, we went to the Forest Park. Take a bus at the South Gate Exit and return to the entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

This gurgling stream is the famous Golden Whip Creek. We actually found a small red carp in the stream. Maybe someone released it.

The stream is clear and smooth, and cold to the skin. When you hold up a pool of clear water in your hand, there is no impurities. It is really good water.

I think it's okay to drink it directly.

It rained a few times on the road, but it suddenly stopped, making the air cooler. Take a few deep breaths of fresh air filled with negative oxygen ions, and make it feel more comfortable.

Along the Jinbian River, it is picturesque. The stone is as solid as a plate, and the strange peaks are as high as a foot.

(This article is posted while walking)

There are so many monkeys in Zhangjiajie, and it feels like the mountains and plains are full of sages.

Each of the tourists coming towards him was holding a branch in his hand, and some even paddled while walking. When I asked, I said it was for monkey-proof.

No wonder Boss Lu of the Tree and Flower Hotel advised us not to bring snacks when we went out to avoid attracting monkeys.

He said that no one feeds the monkeys in Zhangjiajie. They all rely on tourists to feed or snatch tourists 'food. All of them have quick eyes, quick hands, and are fierce and arrogant.

It seems that Boss Lu did not lie to us.

On the road to Jinbian River, a Henan couple in front of them were sorting out the plastic bags in their hands while walking. Several monkeys rushed towards them. They were so scared that they quickly threw away the plastic bag.

The fruit biscuits and instant noodles in the plastic bag were instantly robbed by four or five monkeys of different sizes.

I said, why did you throw it all away? The middle-aged Henan man said with a silly smile, just give it all to them. I don't think I can win them.

The monkeys in Zhangjiajie belong to the wild Chinese macaques and are extremely precious. It may be that they are well nourished by an endless stream of tourists, all of whom are fat and strong, and their coat color is bright. Much more beautiful than the monkeys in zoos and circuses.

As we walked, it finally started to rain heavily, and we didn't bring rain gear.

Fortunately, I didn't walk far before I passed the resting area of Zizhuang Pond in the middle of Huangshi Village. We can only take shelter from the rain and clear up.

Taking advantage of this break from the rain, I can write some words.

In fact, the first time I came to Zhangjiajie was in the mid-1980s.

Zhangjiajie was in the initial stage of tourism development at that time. The roads had just been sorted out as a main road leading to the gate of the scenic spot. The small roads in the scenic spot were either there or no, and they were simple and rough.

The hotel we stayed in was right at the gate of the core scenic area. I remember that there was not even food and drink at that time. I came back late at night and didn't even have hot water to take a bath.

But when we climbed to Huangshi Village and Yaozi Village, we were still deeply shocked by the charming scenery. Everyone shouted, Wow, we really saw a fairyland and came to the fairy mountain!

I remember that after visiting Huangshi Village and Yaozi Village, it was already dusk. Several regiment cadres relied on their youth and strength to go to another scenic spot called Shuiaosimen.

Even the local people kindly advised us not to go. The road is not easy to walk, and it is getting dark, and you will not be able to get out.

But we set out anyway.

In order to seize time with God, we ran and jumped on the rugged mountain paths at almost crazy speeds, flying up and down.

A female regiment was miserable, her face was pale, her breathing was rapid, and she fainted. These people quickly pinched people and fanned the cool breeze. Fortunately, there was no danger.

When they arrived at Shuiwaosisimen, everyone was immediately dumbfounded: Where is the water? Where is the door again?

If I had known that this was the case, I might as well not have come!

At that time, it was indeed in a pristine state. If it were like this now, we would not have cried out for being deceived.

The rain stopped and the instant rice was finished. After picking up the garbage, we set off again.

There is an environmentally friendly car when you reach the Big Oxygen Bar Square. We got on the car and headed straight for Huangshi Village.

The conditions are really much better now. Now that there is a cableway to Huangshi Village, tourists no longer have to work hard to climb up it.

People are strange animals. With labor-saving means of transportation, they no longer want to work hard.

It is said that no tourists want to climb mountains anymore.

After exiting the cableway station and climbing onto the observation deck, all the tourists were depressed.

It turned out that it was because the heavy rain had just passed and the fog was steaming among the mountains. There was only a vast expanse of whiteness in front of us, and we couldn't see anything.

We could only listen to the chatter of the tour group's tour guide.

A tour guide said that this attraction was called "Double Door Welcome", which was named after Jiang Zemin.

Jiang came to Zhangjiajie in 1995. At that time, there were no cableways here, but Lao Jiang simply climbed up.

Looking at the clouds and clouds in the valley, I was also a little anxious. If the clouds didn't open, I would have suffered a huge loss.

Several tour guides were loudly announcing the gathering time.

After calculating, the tour guide left them only more than 40 minutes.

Forty minutes later, even if the weather conditions were still the same, they would have to take the cableway down the mountain.

Finally, God opened his eyes. Half an hour later, the clouds cleared and the fog cleared.

I quickly seized this rare opportunity to take several photos with clear visibility.

It is estimated that those who took the cable car will also cry out that they were deceived. Either he suffered a loss from God or he was on a tour guide and randomly arranged the time to go up the mountain

Returning to the comfortable hotel at night, a comfortable hot bath washed away all the tiredness. Start tomorrow's trip.

Tomorrow we will go to Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain.

By the way, the three-day itinerary was arranged for us by Boss Lu, who has a tree and a flower. It saved time reasonably and allowed us to see the most beautiful scenery in the limited time. We are indeed satisfied.

The hotel we stayed in was in good condition, clean and comfortable, with reasonable charges, and the owner was kind and loyal. Top floor garden terrace, free breakfast in the morning and free karaoke in the evening.

On the third day, we went to Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. The route is to take a bus from the East Gate to Bailong Tianti, then take a bus from Tianti Station to Yuanjiajie Quizitai Station. After seeing the No. 1 Bridge in the World, go to Yangjiajie and transfer to Tianzi Mountain. After seeing the attractions near Helong Park, take the cableway back to the East Gate.

It has long been known that in addition to Zhangjiajie, the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area also has Yangjiajie and Yuanjiajie. It is said that the scenery is more beautiful than Zhangjiajie.

So I was looking forward to it.

I walked a long way yesterday. I didn't feel anything when I was intoxicated by the beautiful scenery. After I came back, I felt pain everywhere.

I came back and looked at my mobile phone. Wow, it's almost 30,000 steps! I didn't expect traveling to be quite exercise.

After coming back and thinking about it, there are a few points that need to be summarized, which can be regarded as strategies.

I didn't understand what "strategies" were before, but later I learned that it was something that gave me some tips for traveling and going out.

Later, I thought of downloading one online, and it was almost all small advertisements.

After a half-hour environmentally friendly drive, we arrived at the Hundred Dragons Ladder.

The Hundred Dragons Stairway is known as the "Stairway", which is indeed thrilling and exciting.

But you have to climb a very high step before climbing the ladder, which is definitely a test of the physical strength of the elderly!

It's just that it's picturesque.

There is a long passage to go through.

Finally entered the ladder.

(Part of this elevator runs in caves and part is for sightseeing. This picture was taken in the elevator)

It only took about a minute to reach the top of the mountain.

Take some pictures of the top of the mountain.

It's easy to have some time to wait for the bus, so I still need to return to the so-called strategy.

When tourists come to Zhangjiajie, the first priority is to pay attention to preventing monkeys.

Yesterday I wanted to make this the third topic, but now it seems that it must be the first topic.

Because he had just left the Hundred Dragons Stairway and arrived at the top of the Yuanjiajie Mountain, his wife was robbed by the evil monkey again.

Including this time, this was the third time she had been attacked by a monkey.

Yesterday at the Oxygen Bar Square in Nandaemun, I was busy taking photos when I heard my wife scream. I turned my head and saw a big monkey with a tall ox and a strong body snatching the bag from my wife's hand!

I was quite surprised. The bag contained important items such as wallet, mobile phone, ID card, etc. If the monkey snatched it away, it would be over.

I used the strength of a desperate fight and rushed forward to beat it with an umbrella. The children also shouted and cheered. Fortunately, my wife grabbed the bag and refused to let go, so she snatched it back.

It feels like Zhangjiajie is full of monkeys now.

As soon as we stepped out of the ladder, monkeys lined up to welcome us. Pairs of sneaky monkey eyes peeped at the pedestrians, hoping for a show.

Pedestrians must be highly vigilant, nervous, and dare not put down their bags to rest when they are tired. Someone must guard the bags when they go to take photos.

I didn't dare to flip through my bags to eat snacks on the road, and maybe I would stick out a fluffy little hand from somewhere.

I feel that Brother Monkey has become a public hazard now and urgently needs standardized management of the scenic spot.

The second is that it is best to prepare rain gear when you enter mountainous areas. Mountainous areas have a mountainous microclimate, and you may not know when it will be poured on your face.

When we were hiding from the heavy rain, the boss outside the mountain said that the county was clear and clear.

The third is to prepare and study the map before departure, especially remember the location of the toilet and the distance between the two toilets. Otherwise, you will be caught blind when you are in urgent need.

Fourth, if there are conditions, try not to follow a tour group. Zhangjiajie is so big that it is impossible to "see all Chang 'an flowers in one day." Stay for a few more days, walk slowly, and take a closer look.

Many groups in Huangshi Village only saw dense fog, and the same was true for the location where Journey to the West was filmed.

The tour guide told the story of Journey to the West and said, Have you seen the stone pillar shaped peak? That was the mountain peak where Sun Wukong smashed down with his golden cudgel and emitted a puff of white smoke. All right, we'll meet in 15 minutes.

The Yuan family's realm is indeed beautiful. It feels more majestic and dangerous than Zhangjiajie.

Looking around, tourists are walking and sightseeing on the edge of the cliff with a high cliff.

Looking down, the valley was so deep that it was bottomless and the cold air was blowing. I couldn't help but shudder and quickly retracted my head.

The main attractions here include Tiantian Scenic Spot, Diandian Terrace, Back Garden, Eccentric Terrace, and the No. 1 Bridge in the World. There is also the location shooting location of the world-famous movie "Avatar".

In the science fiction movie that has attracted the attention of the audience, Avatar rides a dragon and flies around the floating strange mountains at lightning speed, shocking all the audience into a cold sweat.

There is a "back garden" on this side of Yuanjiajie, which is known as the most beautiful place in Zhangjiajie.

In short, the scenic spots here are more dangerous and scary than those in Zhangjiajie. Cowardly people don't dare to look out.

After touring Yuanjiajie, take an environmentally friendly car and transfer through Yangjiajie to Tianzi Mountain.

Tianzi Mountain originally belonged to Sangzhi County and was the hometown of He Long, a proletarian revolutionary of the older generation.

In 1935, the Second Front Army of the Red Army, composed of the 26th Army Corps under the commander-in-chief, sounded the passionate clarion call of the 25,000-mile Long March north to resist Japan at Liujiaping, Sangzhi.

There used to be a folk song in western Hunan,"Masang Shu 'er Build a Lantern Stand", which sang the love story of the Red Army brother going north to resist Japan, and the Tujia sister waiting for her lover at home.

The song is euphemistic and affectionate, as if crying. Hearing it makes people's eyes turn moist.

In fact, this song has a true prototype, which is the story of He Long's cousin He Jinzhai and his newly married wife.

As a commander of the Second Red Army, He Jinzhai was only 27 years old when he died. His wife Dai Guixiang had been newly married to him for four months, but she had been waiting for him for 68 years.

This is really a love that is dry and rotten.

After the death of Marshal He Long, his soul returned to his hometown.

On the top of Tianzi Mountain, beside the picturesque Yubi Peak, there is the tomb and bronze statue of the Marshal.

When I was young, I watched the opera "Honghu Red Guards". The family that knew Marshal He Long also sacrificed their lives for the Chinese revolution.

When I arrived at the Marshal's tomb today, I couldn't help but feel solemn and my nose ached a little.

I couldn't help but secretly swear in my heart that I would inherit the legacy of the martyrs and carry out the unfinished cause of the older generation of revolutionaries to the end!

Stay in Zhangjiajie City at night.

Zhangjiajie City was formerly Dayong City. After the city was established based on tourism, Zhangjiajie was named as the city.

We stayed at the Blue Bay Borg Hotel, and each room only cost 160.

When I came out to eat, I found a long, beautifully decorated restaurant full of doors, and the waiters were playing cards at the door.

After choosing a store, the owner was very happy and enthusiastically arranged it. I guess business has been quite sluggish this time.

When I asked, it was true.

An epidemic broke out in Zhangjiajie the morning before, and they were quarantined for a whole month. There were drones in the sky and special police on the ground. If you don't do it properly, you will be arrested and quarantined for half a month at your own expense.

I lament that it is not easy for the country, but it is even more difficult for the people. If China's tourism industry goes bankrupt, how many families will have no food to eat!

Call on everyone to come out and support the Chinese people's own tourism industry while ensuring safety! I bow to you here!

I went to visit Tianmen Mountain today, and after I finished, I went back to my house. A few days of Mid-Autumn Festival holiday will end perfectly.

Tianmen Mountain is only 8 kilometers away from the urban area and more than 1,500 meters high. It is named because there is a hole more than 130 meters high on the main peak.

It is said that the name of Tianmen Mountain was given by Sun Xiu, the emperor of the Three Kingdoms and Wu States.

He also specially set up Tianmen County for this purpose (the predecessor of Zhangjiajie City).

During the Three Kingdoms, this place belonged to Wu and was governed by Jingzhou.

Later, it became famous around the world for holding many world-class wingsuit flight competitions.

The cableway to Tianmen Mountain is divided into two lines A and B.

Tianmen Mountain's cableway is said to be the world's largest, entering from the city and passing through the city.

There are indeed too many tourists nowadays. We have been waiting in the Quguai Corridor for about 15 minutes.

I am very pleased to see the bustling crowd of tourists.

After all, people cannot resist the temptation of beautiful scenery.

Moreover, China is also the safest country in the world, so people don't need to worry too much.

The cableway station in Zhangjiajie City is the largest cableway station I have ever seen, and the A Clue Road is also the longest cableway I have ever taken, with a total length of 7455 meters.

He even flew over downtown streets and walked among high-rise buildings.

This cableway is also the scariest cableway I have ever taken.

Especially in the last 2,000 meters, the altitude suddenly increases to more than 1,400 meters. Under the sedan box is a bottomless canyon, and timid people will be scared to doubt life.

If the cableway is just scary, then the suspended plank road on the top of the mountain is fatal.

There are also several sections of glass plank roads. Under the completely transparent glass are cliffs with an altitude of more than 1,400 meters, and the cliffs are recessed inward.

Screams could be heard from time to time on the glass plank road. Someone said, It's so scary, I won't come again even if I beat myself to death!

He knew it was safe, but he still couldn't avoid a huge sense of fear. There was no choice. The glass under his feet was as transparent as if it didn't exist.

Someone seemed to be walking calmly, but he was actually looking at his phone and didn't even look down.

This has to be understood. Someone is standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows of a 20-story building about 50 meters long and still has his legs trembling. This height is more than 1400 meters!

The staff of the scenic area who were calm and composed on the glass plank road smiled and said to us that the planks we walked several kilometers behind were actually suspended plank roads. Just because the ground is made of opaque cement boards, people are not so afraid.

We turned to Tianmen Mountain Iron Chain Bridge and looked at the plank road we had just walked over, making our spine feel cold.

On the top of the mountain there is Tianmen Temple and Yunmeng Immortal Top. (Tianmen Mountain was originally named Yunmeng Mountain)

Tianmen Temple is resplendent, large and beautiful.

On the temple's bulletin board, I was surprised to see a photo of Li Na becoming a monk.

Her beautiful song "Qinghai-Tibet Plateau" is still echoing in my ears. I don't know why she suddenly saw through the world of mortals.

Jiang Kun once asked her, why do you want to become a monk now that you are in a big fire? Li Na smiled faintly and said, I am not a monk, I am going home.

But at Yunmeng Xianding, I saw another sign stating: Li Na Villa is here.

It can be seen that the fairy nun and monk ni can't stand the lonely shadow of the green lamp.

But later, after passing by the cableway station on the top of the mountain, I heard a tour guide pointing to a two-story half-moon-shaped house and saying that the house was Li Na Villa, but she had already donated it to Zhangjiajie.

The person next to him said that no matter how beautiful the house is, it is still a possession outside of the world. Why would a monk need so much money?

I couldn't help but interject, that was also someone else's awareness.

He asked the tour guide again, could Li Na be at Tianmen Temple? The tour guide answered reluctantly, no, he only lived here for a few years, and then went to Wutai Mountain.

Take the sightseeing cable car from Tianmen Temple to Yunmeng Xianding. The distance is only more than 3,000 meters, but it takes at least an hour to climb the mountain.

Passing through two unfathomable canyons is shocking.

There is a tourist elevator directly down the cableway station on the sightseeing platform of Shending.

Because it is in a vertical cave, you can't see anything, but judging from the speed and time of the elevator's ascent and descent, the height should be equivalent to a thirty to forty story building.

Exit the cableway station and follow the east line, go down hundreds of steps of Yunzhong Plank Road, and you will reach the top of Tianmen.

Looking down, tourists are only the size of small ants.

Then you have to change to an escalator at a section of the cave.

This escalator is also the most powerful escalator I have ever seen. There are eight sections in total, each section being 60 meters long. It takes more than twenty minutes just to take the elevator.

When you get off the elevator, you will find the cave on the famous Tianmen Mountain

There is also an elevator that leads directly to the foot of the mountain. But almost no one took it. Without exception, they chose to walk down the mountain.

After walking through the dangerous and steep steps of 999, which symbolize eternal life, we finally arrived at the ground that made people breathe a sigh of relief.

Zhangjiajie is really a miracle of nature and a treasure of mankind. She is beautiful, strange, heroic, dangerous and beautiful. It's really a place to check in once in a lifetime.

The discovery, development, promotion and promotion of Zhangjiajie are inseparable from one person. This person is Wu Guanzhong, a world-class famous painter.

When he created the large-scale painting "Shaoshan" in Beijing in 1979, he suffered from lack of good background materials.

Some people say, why don't you visit my hometown, which is a place called Zhangjiajie. I guarantee that you will be amazed and unforgettable after reading it.

Master Wu really went. It didn't matter if he saw it, but the master was so shocked that he couldn't close his mouth for a long time. He said, I have worked so hard to travel to so many famous mountains, such as Wuyi Yandang and Qingcheng Stone Forest, I can't compare to this place. She is really raised in a boudoir before anyone knows her!

As soon as the master's article was published, it caused a sensation across the country.

In addition, his good friend Huang Yongyu invited world-famous photographer Chen Fuli to lead a group of the world's top photographers to take crazy photos and immediately hold a film exhibition back to Hong Kong. Zhangjiajie was immediately famous around the world!

It can be said that Wu Guanzhong has taken great credit for today's popularity and tourism benefits.

Zhangjiajie people value emotion and righteousness. In the second year after the master's death, a bronze statue was cast for him.

The bronze statue stands at the South Gate, the earliest gate of the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

Let the great painter Wu Guanzhong always accompany the magical Zhangjiajie, and let the people of Zhangjiajie always remember Master Wu.

Zhangjiajie, beautiful and magical Zhangjiajie! I wish you more charming and handsome, coexist with heaven and earth, and shine with the sun and moon!
