Zhangjiajie is a tourist destination in my country. It is a world natural heritage site, a national AAAAA tourist attraction, a world geological park, and my country's first national forest park. It is the location of Avatar and a place that many people dream of. However, Zhangjiajie is very big. When Yu Fan was in Zhangjiajie, he met some friends who had a group to visit Zhangjiajie. After seeing the pictures I took, he suspected that he had gone to a fake Zhangjiajie because they didn't even go to Wulingyuan. In view of this, Yu Fan made some recommendations for everyone based on his experience in many trips. These points must be visited:

1. Visit a core scenic spot-Wulingyuan Scenic Area

Wulingyuan is the core scenic spot in Zhangjiajie. It is known as the labyrinth of nature, the museum of geology, the kingdom of forests, the garden of plants, and the paradise of wild animals. It was included in the "World Natural Heritage" in 1992, listed as the first batch of "World Geoparks" in 2004, and awarded the first batch of national AAAAA tourist attractions in 2007.

Wulingyuan is composed of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Zhangjiajie City, Suoxiyu Nature Reserve in Cili County and Tianzishan Nature Reserve in Sangzhi County. Later, the Yangjiajie New Scenic Area was discovered. It has an area of 369 square kilometers and has more than 3000 strange mountains and peaks, of which 243 are above a thousand meters above sea level. It is an exterior shooting site for many film and television works such as "Avatar" and "Journey to the West".

2. Take the world's most elevator-the Hundred Dragons Ladder

The Hundred Dragon Ladder is located in Wulingyuan and is not included in the tickets for Wulingyuan. It is an option for tourists, but in Yu Fan's view, the Hundred Dragon Ladder is a must-play event for us. Why? There are several main reasons. First of all, riding the Hundred Dragons Ladder can save time and physical strength. The main landscape of Zhangjiajie is on the mountains. If we don't ride the Hundred Dragons Ladder, we can only climb mountains on foot or take cableways. The cableways are not cheap, and they are found in many places, and the time is far less fast than the Hundred Dragons Ladder. If you choose to climb the mountain on foot, it takes almost 3 hours to get from the foot of the mountain to the mountain, and it is very physical.

Second, the Bailong Ladder itself is a landscape project and has many of the world's best. It is the world's tallest outdoor elevator, the tallest double-decker sightseeing elevator, the largest load and fastest sightseeing elevator. It has also been included in the Guinness World Record. It can rise 5.25 meters per second, and it only takes 66 seconds to reach a height of 335 meters. Traveling, time is money, and 66 seconds can save hours of climbing mountains, saving time and physical strength. You can see more scenery and play more projects, and it is suitable for all ages.

In addition, the Hundred Dragons Ladder is not affected by the weather and can be operated regardless of wind or rain. The Hundred Dragons Ladder itself is also a beautiful scenery. Sitting in the ladder is also a mobile viewing platform, because the Hundred Dragons Ladder is made of fully transparent glass on three sides. During the rapid rise, you can appreciate the iconic landscape of Wulingyuan, a gathering of magic weapons from different perspectives. Forty-eight stone peaks rise from the ground opposite it, standing in the canyon, majestic. Most of these stone pillars are in the shape of needles, cones, clubs and mallets. They are thin and tall, like a group of soldiers standing in line. They are extremely spectacular.

3. Watch a performance "Charming Xiangxi"

When traveling to a place, we must not only appreciate the local scenery, but also understand the local culture. Compared with the boredom of reading books and visiting museums,"Charming Xiangxi" is different. It uses songs and dances in a way that people like to see, acrobatics, witchcraft, and sketches allow us to unknowingly understand the local history and culture.

"Charming Xiangxi" takes Xiangxi culture as its soul. Although Zhangjiajie does not belong to Xiangxi Prefecture, it is a truly large area of Xiangxi. This is a vast and magical land where Han, Tujia, Miao, Dong, Yao, Bai, Gelao and other dozen ethnic minorities live. They coexist harmoniously and use their outstanding wisdom and tenacious will to create a rich, mysterious and legendary local culture in Xiangxi. Now most of it exists in the form of national intangible cultural heritage."Charming Xiangxi" systematically combs these cultures and makes their unique charm shine.

4. Strolling an old street-Xibu Old Street

Watching the scenery is a matter during the day, and it is impossible to watch "Charming Xiangxi" every day at night. Tickets to Zhangjiajie can be played for four days, so after coming out of the scenic spot during the day, you naturally have to give yourself and your friends a good place to entertain. Yufan recommends everyone to go to Xibu Old Street, an old street not far from the Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

Xibu Old Street is not old, but it is an antique pedestrian street that integrates the localization of Zhangjiajie. It is said to be the only water bar street in the country. It has everything to eat, play, drink and buy. You can sit down and drink some wine and listen to some songs. You can also find a gourmet restaurant to taste the local specialties or buy some meaningful souvenirs.

5. Take a walk around the earliest and most exciting glass bridge in the country-the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is also known as Yuntiandu. The naming of "Yuntiandu" is interpreted as a person who unites the overpass to cross the world. Between the clouds and clouds, the bridge is like a thousand-foot white silk looming in it. As soon as you step on the bridge, it suddenly transcends from the mountains and rivers. "Crossing" not only brings tourists across the canyon, but also brings the hearts of those traveling with them closer together.

When you go to the Glass Bridge, you naturally have to go to the Grand Canyon, because they are originally a scenic spot with good environment and scenery, but the experience they bring to Yufan is not good. From the bottom of my heart, I don't want to recommend it to everyone. Why? This wonderful scenic spot is not allowed to bring many things, not even cameras. What is annoying is that after registering the camera at the entrance, the exit and entrance of the scenic spot are not together. After coming out, you have to go to the entrance to pick up your camera bag.

6. Try local cuisine

There are two delicacies you must try when visiting Zhangjiajie. The first thing Yu Fan recommended is the baby fish in Zhangjiajie. The baby fish is also called giant salamander and belongs to the national second-class aquatic protected animal. Zhangjiajie is the main origin of giant salamanders in China and has the first giant salamander national nature reserve. Zhangjiajie giant salamander has unique and precious value. It can improve human immune function, enhance disease resistance, and delay aging. It integrates health care, medicinal, cosmetic and edible values. It is praised by experts as "ginseng in the water" and "soft gold".

Zhangjiajie Sanxia Pot is also known as Tujia Sanxia Pot. It was originally stewed bacon, tofu, and radish in one pot to make a "mixed dish", which tasted refreshing. Later, people called this dish "Sanxia Pot". Nowadays, Sanxia pot is no longer cooked in one pot of bacon, tofu, and radish. There are also fat intestines, pork tripe, beef tripe, mutton tripe, pig's trotters or pig's head meat. Perhaps due to the mixing, the taste of Sanxia pot is indeed very special and has endless aftertaste, so Yu Fan specially recommends it!

In addition, Zhangjiajie is a multi-ethnic area. There are 33 ethnic minorities here, mainly Tujia, Bai and Miao. Each ethnic group has its own culture. We should not just focus on the scenery. In fact, the local ethnic culture is also worth experiencing. For example, you can experience the Miao people's toast method-high mountains and flowing water.
