Not long ago, I met a Taiwanese friend who loved to travel while visiting Changsha. He excitedly described to me that he had visited many cities, seen many rivers and rivers, and loved the scenery and humanities of the mainland very much. I asked him, have you been to Zhangjiajie in Hunan? The man shook his head, saying that he had heard of it but had never been there. I highly recommended him: "Then you must go. I just came back from Zhangjiajie"! Then I showed him some scenery photos taken in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie two days ago. After taking this Amway trip, my brother planned to leave immediately after visiting Changsha, but he was worried that he didn't have enough time, because the return time and ticket had been booked, so only three days could be reserved. I reminded him that if there was not enough time, he could only go to Wulingyuan. Wulingyuan Scenic Area is the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie.
Why do I highly recommend Wulingyuan?Maybe you have heard Tao Yuanming's Story of the Peach Blossom Garden, but you don't know that Li Bai, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, also wanted to "brush off his clothes and return to Wulingyuan after his achievements." Wang Anshi found a secluded place where he heard the barking of chickens. He also "returned to tell people that it was suspected of being Wulingyuan" but the ancients couldn't think of it. Now, we can easily go there.
When it comes to ways to go to Wulingyuan to enjoy the beautiful scenery, in addition to trains, planes, cars and other transportation, I have to mention the world's tallest outdoor sightseeing elevator "Hundred Dragons Ladder" in the core scenic area of Wulingyuan. The Hundred Dragons Ladder has truly solved the problem of transportation bottlenecks that have plagued the scenic area for many years, pushing peerless scenery such as Yuanjiajie, Jinbian River, World's First Bridge, Chizai Terrace, and Sky Pastoral from behind the scenes to the front desk, helping tourists save more time and energy. You can enjoy more beautiful scenery in a limited time.
In addition, looking at the ingenious integration of modern civilization and natural mountains and rivers from the Hundred Dragons Ladder, you will sigh that human creativity and capabilities have exceeded your imagination, and what else cannot be achieved by humans? It is worthy of pride that the Bailong Ladder is our own invention and creation. The world-class elevator companies are afraid of Shangao Shijian and refused to design and build it. The engineers of the Chinese Bailong Company finally solved the technical problems themselves and built it.
When you come to the core scenic area of Wulingyuan, you must make strategies in advance, so that you can avoid spending wasted money and save time and physical strength.
At the request of a Taiwanese friend and combined with my travel experience in Zhangjiajie, I formulated a three-day travel strategy for him.
D1:Wujiayu Ticket Station (sign gate) → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Bailong Tiantian up → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Yuanjiajie, the core scenic spot (2 hours tour) → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Yangjiajie (2 hours tour) → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Tianzi Mountain (2 hours tour) → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Downward Bailong Tiantian → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Wujiayu Ticket Station (sign gate)
D2 :Wujiayu Ticket Station (sign gate) → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Shili Gallery (2 hours tour) → Take an eco-friendly vehicle → Jinbianxi (3 hours tour) → Wujiayu Ticket Station (sign gate)
D3:Baofeng Lake (3 hours tour) → Huanglong Cave (3 hours tour)
The specific itinerary is as follows:
Day1 first stop: Wulingyuan Sign Gate (also known as Wujiayu Ticket Station)If you buy tickets online in advance, come to the ticket office of the sign gate and enter your fingerprint to collect the ticket card. Summer tickets are about 225 yuan. In winter, there are generally off-season fares, which are valid for four days. The fingerprint is bound, and each card is for one person. Tickets include all attractions in the scenic area and environmentally friendly sightseeing fares. The sightseeing bus can leave when full and ride at will, which is very cost-effective.
Second stop: Hundred Dragons LadderTake an eco-friendly car to Shuifeng Simen and take the Bailong Ladder up. It is recommended to buy a round-trip ticket directly. You will be tired after walking on the mountains. It saves time and effort to go up and down the Hundred Dragons Ladder.
Don't just think of the Hundred Dragons Ladder as a means of transportation. It pushes the beautiful scenery of the Yuan Family, the sky countryside, and the soldiers 'formation from behind the scenes to the stage. However, the Hundred Dragons Ladder has long surpassed its own value. It has become a landmark in Zhangjiajie. It has become an Internet celebrity tourist attraction where tourists compete to check in. When you come to Zhangjiajie, don't miss this artificial spectacle, otherwise how dare you brag to your friends!
Ø The formation of generals seen on the central platform of the Hundred Dragons Ladder
Third stop: Yuanjiajie
Yuanjiajie is the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie Forest Park. It is relatively well developed, all facilities are complete, there are many and representative scenic spots, and the scenery also very representative of Zhangjiajie's unique quartz sandstone landform. It includes scenic spots such as the prototype of the suspended mountain in the movie "Avatar"-Hallelujah Mountain, the No. 1 Bridge in the World, the Jiutian Mysterious Ladder, the Lianxin Bridge, the China-South Korea Friendship Pavilion, the Divine Turtle Wentian, and the Ecstasy Terrace.
Ø Ecstasy Platform
Ecstasy Terrace is named after its beauty is enough to charm the soul. It is a viewing point for the sunrise of one of the four wonders of Zhangjiajie (sunrise, peak forest, winter snow, and fog sea). It is a pity that I didn't have the opportunity to see the sunrise during this trip. I will come to Zhangjiajie next time to make up for my regrets.
Ø Hallelujah Mountains
The prototype of the suspended mountain in the movie "Avatar"-Mount Hallelujah, formerly known as the Qiankun Pillar, is shaped like a brush hanging upside down. The brush stands thousands of feet and stands still for thousands of years. It is really amazing!
Ø The first bridge in the world
The first bridge in the world is a natural stone bridge, with a natural stone slab about 5 meters long sandwiched between two mountain peaks. The bridge is about 350 meters high. It is high and dangerous. I think it is more spectacular from a distance. The stones are very fragile and I still feel a little scared to walk on. It is truly the first bridge in the world
Third stop: YangjiajieYangjiajie went to Tianbo Prefecture and the Natural Great Wall. The scenery here is different from that of the Yuan Family Realm. The continuous peak walls are simply a natural Great Wall. However, compared with the Yuan Family Realm, it lacks the feeling of one man dominating the pass. It only has momentum but lacks courage.
Fourth stop: Tianzi MountainAfter sightseeing in Yangjiajie for 2 hours, I took an eco-friendly car to Tianzi Mountain. The scenery of Tianzi Mountain is quite inconsistent with that of Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie. Like the Qiankun Pillar, Yubi Peak is also in the form of a stalagmite, but it is much smaller. The stone peaks stand upright one by one, shaped like penshafts. Looking at each peak individually, they appear delicate and graceful, and are less imposing than the Qiankun Pillar.
After swimming, it was too nice to go down the mountain by not taking the cableway. I always felt that this means of transportation was unsafe. People like me, who are so famous for being able to take trains rather than cars, decisively took an environmentally friendly car to the Bailong Ladder and took the elevator down.
Day2 first stop: Shili GalleryThe next day was more relaxed. I first went to Shili Gallery from the Wujiayu Ticket Station.
Shili Gallery is the location of the movies "Monster Hunt" and "Monster Hunt 2". On both sides of this ten-mile-long valley, there are rich natural landscapes, and the walking between them seems to be in a painting. Dai Feng stands next to the ditch. The rocks on the mountain form more than 200 stone scenery shapes that look like people, objects, birds and beasts. Among them,"Peacock opens the screen","Old Man Picking Medicine","Longevity Star welcomes guests","Tiger Roars the Sky", etc. are the most famous.
Guess what the names of the peaks in this landscape are?
Second stop: Jinbianxi
It has a total length of 7.5 kilometers and a general tour time of about two and a half to three hours. It is named after it passes through one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Scenes in Zhangjiajie"-the Golden Whip Rock where the Shenying Whip is protected. The Jinbian River is the most beautiful scenery in Wulingyuan. After entering from the entrance of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, walk forward about 300 meters to the entrance of Jinbian River. Walking through the peaks and valleys, the stream is clear and colorful, with small fish swimming in it. The flowers and plants along the stream are delicious, and birds sing and orioles sing. People walking along the clear stream is better than swimming in a painting. It is known as "one of the most beautiful canyons in the world."
It is recommended to travel the entire journey lightly when coming to Jinbianxi. For people who have exercise habits, they can run 7.5 kilometers in about 50 minutes. Coming to this natural oxygen bar, it is suitable to forget their troubles and walk slowly.
Day3 first stop: Baofeng LakeStrange mountains must have strange waters. If you come to Zhangjiajie to see the mountains and rivers without looking at the water, you cannot fully appreciate the classics of Zhangjiajie's mountains and rivers. After walking in the mountains for two days, I specially arranged for a morning to go boating on the lake. Baofeng Lake Scenic Area integrates mountains and rivers and integrates folk customs. It is especially famous for its unique scenery of Gaoxia Pinghu, Baofeng waterfall that "flies down three thousand feet", and mysterious ancient temples in the mountains. It is known as "World Lake Classic" and "Human Jade Pool".
The scenery of Baofeng Lake is very beautiful. Although there are many tourists, there are relatively few boats on the lake, so there will be no traffic congestion.
Second stop: Huanglong CaveAfter lunch in the afternoon, we took a bus to Huanglong Cave.
Huanglong Cave, a world-renowned wonder, belongs to a karst landform. Let me first give you a list of the honors it has won." China's Best Cave Cave "," World Wonders of Karst Cave "," China's Karst Cave All-round Champion "," World's No. 1 Strange Cave "," Underground Pearl "," Underground Magic Palace "...
Remind all tourists, especially women, that the cave is very cold, even a little cold! It's better for frail friends to bring a long-sleeved coat.
Don't touch these stalactites, or you may lose your fortune. However, there are often some small stalactites in the middle of the road, just as high as a bench on which children sit. You can touch those. They are cool and slippery and quite comfortable.
Finally, I will give you a wave of tips, remember to collect and put them in your pockets ~1. How to get to Zhangjiajie from Changsha?
It is very convenient to come to Zhangjiajie from Changsha. The plane costs only about 200 yuan, but the flights are relatively few. There are also trains and cars. After the opening of the Guizhou-Zhangjiakou-Changzhou high-speed railway, there will be a high-speed railway connecting Changsha directly to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station.
Ø Plane: The plane can arrive in Zhangjiajie in about 1 hour and 10 minutes, but it depends on the specific date. The flight schedule is not fixed, booked in advance, and the price often fluctuates.
Ø Train: Generally, it takes about 5 hours, and the hard seat price is 54.5-83.5 (the specific price depends on the number of trains)
Ø Car: It takes about 4 hours to take a bus from Changsha West Bus Station/East Station to Zhangjiajie, and the price is 119 yuan.
For safety reasons, it is recommended to choose a train when going out. After the opening of the Guizhou-Zhangjiakou-Changzhou high-speed railway at the end of this year, you can choose a high-speed railway. It only takes 3 hours to reach Zhangjiajie.
2. How can I get to Wulingyuan when I arrive in Zhangjiajie?
Ø Aircraft: There is only one airport in Zhangjiajie. Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport is a 4D civil transportation airport. It is the second largest international airport in Hunan Province and one of the airports with the most beautiful natural scenery in China. The whole journey from the airport to Wulingyuan is about 39.1 kilometers, which is not far. You can take a taxi and the cost is more than 100 yuan.
Ø Train: Zhangjiajie Station is located in Guanliping, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province. It is the largest railway station in northwest Hunan, Hunan Province. After getting off the train, you can take a taxi for 10 yuan or take the No. 6 bus to the urban bus station. At the urban bus station, there is a minibus from Zhangjiajie to Wulingyuan. It costs 10 yuan/person and takes about 40 minutes.
If you take a taxi directly after getting off the train, the cost is expected to be around 120 yuan!
Ø Self-driving: You don't need to go to the urban area by driving by yourself from Changzhang Expressway. You can reach Wuling Yuancheng District shortly after going directly from the intersection of Yanghe Expressway.
Note: After leaving the station or airport, don't trust black cars that solicit passengers. It's best to take a bus or get a taxi yourself.
3. Where is the most convenient place to live when you arrive in Wulingyuan?
Ø Accommodation can go to Wuling Yuancheng District, which is very close to the Wujiayu Ticket Station. It can be reached in a few minutes by taxi. Basically all B & Bs in the scenic area are closed.
