The most surprising thing about walking in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area is probably meeting monkeys. In Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area, they are the real masters here and are not afraid of tourists at all.
Days of heavy rain have long extinguished the desire to go up the mountain, but the journey has been set, and we can only go up the mountain despite the rain. Unexpectedly, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area gave me the greatest gift. The sea of clouds churned after the rain and was as beautiful as a fairyland.
I have traveled many places and seen many scenery, such as the rising and setting of the sun, and the wind and snow, but I have never seen the true appearance of the sea of clouds. If it takes a little luck to watch the rising and setting of the sun, then it is as difficult to see the sea of clouds as seeing the crabapple blossoms.
"Climb the pavilion and lean on the railing, and keep the wine in the wind. Eyes close to the vast expanse of six directions, and roll the curtain to a beautiful scroll. Wrap the clear stream to make a belt, and decorate it with flowers and fruits to make a bracelet. Don't you see that three thousand strange peaks are chopping in chaos, and eight hundred beautiful rivers are breaking through rivers. Although the Lord of Heaven is unique, the standards of creation are new."-- Tianzige
The sky is clear, walking in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie, breathing the fresh air, a small animal will pop out of the jungle from time to time, causing tourists to gather together. Some tourists took out small pieces of bread and threw them over. The little squirrel tiptoed up the bread and began to eat it. The tourists would not have the slightest fear of it.
Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie is so magical, from pouring heavy rain to rolling clouds of clouds, to blue sky and white clouds. Here, it only took me eight hours to see natural landscapes that others might not be able to see in a month.
Take the Tianzishan cableway down the mountain. The total drop of the cableway is 692 meters. When the cableway moves from top to bottom, I look at the bottomless cliff below and involuntarily grab the armrest next to my seat. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the sea of clouds was there, and the cable car shuttled among the clouds. It was a wonderful experience.
There is nothing more charming than the green mountains after the rain. The whole mountain is full of green green. The fog that has not yet dissipated is like elegant silk, wrapped around its waist in strands. The breeze turns the raindrops on each leaf., they have become the most nourishing nourishment on the earth.
Wujiayu Ticket Station is one of the entrances to Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. The most eye-catching thing is a nine-story pagoda with its apex reaching into the sky and standing at the foot of Wulingyuan. Here, you can take the Jingjiao Bus to the place you want to go, such as Shili Gallery, Bailong Tiantian Station, Tianzishan Cableway Station...
If you come to Zhangjiajie and haven't seen monkeys, I don't think you have been to Jinbianxi. Along the Jinbian River, there will definitely be traces of monkeys. They will appear in unexpected ways, such as sitting on signs on the roadside, looking at the tourists coming and going, and seeing who their target is.
Jinbianxi is named after it passes through Jinbianyan, one of the "Top Ten Unique Scenes in Zhangjiajie". It is the most beautiful area in Wulingyuan along the route. There is a clear creek here. There are small fish roaming in the creek. There are lush trees next to the creek, and the sound of water can be heard throughout the valley. Walking along the shore, you will see beautiful scenery everywhere, just like swimming in a painting.
"If you don't go to Huangshi Village, you will go to Zhangjiajie in vain." If you come to Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie, go to Huangshi Village, see the amazing natural murals, and see the spectacular front garden. If you go, I think you will understand the meaning of that sentence very well as I do.
Huangshi Village, it is said that Zhang Liang's master Huangshi Gong once came here to refine pills, hence the name. In rainy weather, clouds fill thousands of valleys and thousands of peaks gather around the stockade platform; at sunrise in the morning, the mist flies, and the peaks are bright or dark, changing magically; at a quiet night, the moon is bright, the stars are vast, the peaks are elegant and dignified, and the background is deep and ethereal; it is covered with snow in winter, icicles hang below, and thousands of peaks and valleys are made of silver and jade; In the circle along the stockade, all the peaks are based on them, and you can see the wonders of everything far and near.
[Foreword]
There are some places and some scenery that everyone has to visit once, such as the sea, the desert, or the grassland. But not every place will make you linger, making you embark on a journey again without hesitation.
I have been on the road all the time, but there is hardly any place I can go to for a second time. Zhangjiajie is a special case. I am obsessed with the mountains and rivers of Wulingyuan. I miss the delicious food of Zhangjiajie. I know that every time I come to Zhangjiajie, I will have different gains, either intoxicating scenery or heart-warming touches. I always think that being away is more important than the scenery. It is a kind of touching touch from strangers.

[About Food]
When you come to Zhangjiajie, you must try Tujia cuisine with the most ethnic characteristics. Tujia cuisine in Zhangjiajie not only maintains the ethnic flavor that has lasted for hundreds of years, but also incorporates the essence of Hunan cuisine. Such integration can't help but make people's appetites open and drool. In addition to the spicy taste of Hunan cuisine, Tujia people also particularly love cured, sour and pickled vegetables.
Speaking of Sanxia pot, everyone who has been to Zhangjiajie knows it. In fact, it is a very convenient dry pot. It is made of three main ingredients, most of which are fat sausage, pork belly, beef belly, mutton belly, pig's trotters or pig's head meat, etc. Select three or more of them and specially processed into a pot. The three-pot method is also divided into dry pot and soup pot. Dry pot has no soup and has a strong spicy flavor. People who cannot eat spicy food should choose carefully.
Xiangxi bacon has a spicy, salty taste, delicious taste and lingering fragrance on lips and teeth. The bacon in Xiangxi is smoked, so it doesn't look very good on the outside, but the unique wood-wood aroma makes people can't help but have another piece.
Spicy Fish, a classic Hunan dish, looks very spicy, but it is actually okay.
The farmhouses in the mountainous areas of Zhangjiajie are simple and enthusiastic, and a plate of farmhouse stir-fried meat shows the local Tujia style. Different from ordinary fried meat, the aroma of firewood and the unique pepper in Hunan give this dish a unique taste.
[About the hotel]
Xibu Street Inn is an inn full of lifestyle. The inn is located on Xibu Street at the foot of Wulingyuan Mountain in Zhangjiajie. There is everything to eat, drink and play next to the inn. If you have a heart of literature and art, then this is the best choice for you to come to Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan.
The staff of the inn are very dignified and tactful. Everyone is wearing a cheongsam or a long skirt. They are the most beautiful scenery in this inn. In addition, the inn also has a lot of green plants, from the stone staircase in front of the door, to the wooden corridors in the guest rooms, to the clean and elegant guest rooms, there are many kinds of green plants, from green bamboos to flowers and plants.
Changsha Baili Aishang Hotel
Because of the convenient transportation, I chose to transfer in Changsha. This hotel was recommended to me. As a subsidiary of the BTG Group that pursues a "stylish and charming" lifestyle, this hotel is fundamentally different from traditional home inns in terms of decoration and service from the inside out. Aishang Hotel Changsha Parley is located diagonally opposite Changsha Helong Stadium and adjacent to the subway entrance. It has convenient transportation and is also very convenient to Changsha's most famous Wuyi Square. It can be said to be a quiet place in the middle of the city.
Even with this location, the room prices of Parry Aishang Hotel are still very friendly to the people. The price for two to three hundred yuan is really very high. From the hotel door to the decoration of the hotel lobby, to the aisles and guest rooms, you can feel the romantic style. The overall warm gray space of the hotel is matched with light gold decorative elements and rich and diverse materials, which is filled with a strong and classical European charm.
Check-in is considerate and cordial, and there is also a welcome letter and fruit in the check-in room. This also continues the consistent warm service purpose of BTG Group. European-style rooms, wet and dry toilets, separate toilets in the living room and master bedroom, as well as thoughtful coffee machines, gym and bar, and all supporting facilities. You can enjoy the holiday experience of a star-rated hotel at the price of a business hotel.

DAY 1 Zhangjiajie, meet again in a year
I didn't sleep all night. I don't know if I drank too much coffee or I was excited to meet Zhangjiajie again. The morning flight at seven o'clock was just like last year. I just landed. Looking at the mountains outside the window, it was cloudy and I felt particularly comfortable. Sitting in the car and chatting with the driver about Zhangjiajie, the driver was surprised that I was here for the second time and said that it seems that you really like it here. Indeed, I like Zhangjiajie.
DAY 2 Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie: You say there is no scenery after rain, but I say it is more beautiful after rain
When the alarm clock rings, light penetrates through the curtains, and the curtains are pulled open. The rain outside the window becomes louder and louder. If it was a normal place, I would definitely sigh when encountering such weather... But I am going to Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, which is more beautiful after rain.
For general tours, two or three days are the best time to visit Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie. Our itinerary plan for this trip is two days, eliminating some of the attractions we have visited. Today's tours are mainly Suoxiyu Scenic Area, Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. The routes are: Wujiayu Ticket Station-Shili Gallery-Yuanjiajie (environmentally friendly vehicle) 100 Dragon Tianti-1 suspended mountain prototype-Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area-Helong Park-Yubi Peak-Tianzi Pavilion-Shentang Bay-Tianzi Mountain Cableway-Wujiayu Ticket Station.
Ticket entry from Wujiayu to enter the scenic area, and take the scenic area eco-friendly vehicle to Shili Gallery. There are two ways to visit Shili Gallery. If you are physically strong, you can try to walk the entire journey. If you are afraid of getting tired, you can take the sightseeing tram to visit. There will be audio explanations on the sightseeing tram. Of course, there is a compromise way. That is, one-way walk, one-way tram tour.
Shili Gallery is located in Suoxiyu Scenic Area. On both sides of this ten-mile-long valley, there are rich natural landscapes, and the walking between them seems to be in a painting. Dai Peak stands next to the ditch, and the rocks on the mountain form more than 200 stone scenery shapes that resemble people, objects, birds and beasts. Attractions you can see along the way include: peacocks opening their screens, elderly people picking herbs, longevity stars welcoming guests, tigers roaring into the sky, turning attics, fairies worshiping Guanyin, and viewing books from Wang.
After visiting the Shili Gallery, you can start climbing directly along the stairs without returning. This is also a route. Due to the rain, we chose the Hundred Dragon Ladder to go up the mountain. Last time, we took the Hundred Dragon Ladder to go down the mountain.
Bailong Sightseeing ElevatorLocated in the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan World Natural Heritage in Zhangjiajie, it ranks first in the world with the three titles of "the world's highest, largest load capacity and fastest fully exposed outdoor sightseeing elevator". The operating altitude is 326 meters and the operating time is 1 minute and 58 seconds. When going down inside, the speed is still very fast, but I can only go sightseeing for a while. The rest is underground. When descending, tinnitus is normal, and you can open your mouth to relieve the symptoms.
The ticket price is 72 for one way, and the student ID card is 43
In Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area, the most popular ticket is the scenic bus. On average, each person has to take the scenic bus no less than ten times, and the cost of the scenic bus is included in the ticket. It can be seen that the tickets for the scenic spot are really cheap.
Yuanjiajie is located in the north of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is a pearl inlaid in the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie. Behind it, it is surrounded by the mountains and mountains, facing the secluded valleys and peaks, extending from east to west. Standing on the observation deck of Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, you can have a panoramic view of the Three Thousand Strange Peak, which is majestic and dangerous, and has different looks.
Yuan Jiajie became famous in the past few years because of "Avatar". The movie was once filmed here. The thrilling scenery here and the cliffs here attract a large number of tourists from home and abroad to visit and stop here. The core attractions of the Yuanjiajie are the Ecstasy Platform, the Avatar Scene, the Qiankun Pillar, and the World's First Bridge. Each has its own characteristics, but they are all enough to shock people.
Along the way, I met several monkeys. Their fur was wet by the heavy rain, or they sat on branches, or jumped left and right to play and chase. However, their real purpose was the snacks on tourists. If you hadn't let them see it, it's okay. If you didn't let them see it, they would definitely snatch it away at lightning speed.
The world's first bridge, a naturally formed stone arch bridge. When you think of the abyss under the bridge, will you be nervous?! I think so. You can't help but stay away from this bridge.
After visiting Yuanjiajie, we took an eco-friendly car to Helong Park in Tianzi Mountain. When riding, pay attention to telling the controller where you are going, because different places are different cars, and there are no signs on the car. Only then can the controller know which car is going where.
Yubi Peak is located in the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. It is one of the best attractions in the Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area. It is more than 100 meters high and several peaks are staggered side by side. It is said to be the peak formed by the imperial pen abandoned by Emperor Xiang when he was defeated. Dozens of well-arranged beautiful peaks protrude out in the valley, shooting into the blue sky. The stone peaks on the right are like royal pens inserted upside down, and the stone peaks on the left are like "mountains and rivers" on which the pen is closed. The scene has changed in a thousand ways. The sun shines brightly, the clouds and clouds surge and appear sometimes, the spring moon penetrates through the flowers, and the five layers of peaks overlap each other.
Tianzi Mountain is located in the northwest of Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie. Most tour groups will not come here, so compared to the crowded Yuanjia boundary, Tianzi Mountain is much quieter. I vaguely remember the beautiful scenery of Shentang Bay when I came last year, so we took the Jingjiao bus and got off at Shentang Bay.
Shentang Bay, located in Tianzishan Nature Reserve, is a major "restricted area" in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. According to the "Cili County Annals" compiled during the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty, its original name was "Shentangzhai". It is located in the west of Suoxi Valley and is a semicircular deep valley depression full of mystery. Shentang Bay is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, but there is only a gap on the mountain on one side that allows you to overlook the bottom of the bay. You will have a sense of mystery. The bay is so deep that it is mysterious and unpredictable. Sometimes it is full of lights and the auspicious atmosphere is warm. Sometimes it is windy and foggy. What is even more surprising is that as long as one approaches the bay, the sound of gongs and drums and people shouting and horses will be vaguely heard in their ears, as if there are thousands of troops and horses fighting fiercely.
For dinner, we had dinner at Xibu Street Inn at the foot of Wulingyuan Mountain in Zhangjiajie. The owner of the inn cooked it herself. It was all local specialties, both in terms of materials and methods. In order to ensure the quality of the ingredients, the inn itself has a vegetable garden.
Sauteed pork liver
Wild mushroom soup, a unique local yellow mushroom, tastes delicious.
Old duck pot, local duck raised by local farmers.
Day 3 does not arrive at Huangshi Village, but it is a waste to go to Zhangjiajie
The main routes we visited the next day were: Wujiayu Ticket Station-Shuihuan Simen-Jinbianxi-Dayan Bar Square-Huangshizhai Cableway-Circular Tour-Forest Park Ticket Station. The overall trip was a little faster. Both Jinbianxi and Huangshizhai require more than two hours on foot, so they are relatively labor-intensive.
Walking closer to Jinbian River, you can see green everywhere, and even your clothes are reflected in a faint green. The flowing water is gurgling, and in the crystal clear and spotless clear water, fish are swimming happily, and red, green and white pebbles are shining in the water. Sunlight shines through the gaps in the forest and casts mottled shadows on the water, giving people a sense of tranquility and beauty of nature. The valley has lush vegetation, and the stream is clear all year round. It is called the "Landscape Gallery" and the "Wonderland on Earth".
If you come to Zhangjiajie and haven't seen monkeys, I don't think you have been to Jinbianxi. Along the Jinbian River, there will definitely be traces of monkeys. They will appear in unexpected ways, such as sitting on signs on the roadside, looking at the tourists coming and going, and watching who is the target of robbery.
Due to the rainy season, the water in Jinbian River is particularly abundant than usual, and the gurgling water will become surging even when encountering sharp turns. Walking along the Jinbian River and in the forest, the dense woods make you not feel that it is raining at this time, only see the ripples on the water.
You will also see many small attractions along the way, such as Pig Bajie carrying his daughter-in-law, cutting mountains to save his mother... Looking at these scenery, they are all three-part similar and seven-part imaginary, so if you look at it and think it doesn't look like it, it can only show that your imagination is not enough.
"Look horizontally at the ridge and turn into a peak", look at the mountain peak you can see on the star-picking platform from another angle. Five of the stone peaks are lined up, shaped like fingers are five stone pillars parallel to each other. They are uneven in length and spaced apart, much like five fingers stretched out. Locals say this is the finger of Rulai Buddha, and they are called the Five Finger Peak.
When we approached the extreme top of Huangshi Village, we looked back and looked into the distance, but saw that water stains and flowing traces on the cliff of Yaozi Village formed a natural mural full of Tujia customs: a typical Tujia penthouse is hidden among green trees, and children accompanying cattle follow the stone path. Walking towards the wooden layer, I can see a small bridge and flowing water, and the ancient road in the setting sun, hidden and appearing in the bamboo forest...
The Front Garden is located east of Huangshi Village, in a vast valley with dozens of small stone peaks distributed in it. The valley is lush with flowers and trees, the flowing water is gurgling, and hundreds of birds are singing, making it clear and elegant. The two oblique round doors of the "Garden" are formed by the collapse of huge stone walls, with round double arches, very similar to the moon doors.
Not far from Wanglang Peak, there is a towering stone wall across the green valley. If you look carefully, it seems that there are countless pavilions, pavilions, houses and courtyards, hidden among the green pines and cypresses. Whenever clouds and fog surround, the pavilions appear and disappear, just like the mythical "Nine Immortal Pavilion".
Walking along the quiet corridor to the room, he gently pushed open the door, and the unique fragrance of wood came to his nostrils. The furniture in the room is made of solid wood, and the original state of the solid wood is kept as much as possible to show the ecology and nature. The background wall of the TV cabinet and the pillows are all decorated with Xiangxi characteristics. When you come to the balcony, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Xibu Street.
After dinner, we came to the Charming Xiangxi Theater."Charming Xiangxi" was directed by Feng Xiaogang and the music production was produced by Liu Huan and Lao Zai. Every night, the theater would be crowded with people, which shows its unique charm.
The performance is divided into two stages: inside and outside, mainly in the inside. There are ten acts in the infield performance. The first act is inspired by the Miao people and inspired by the Miao people in Xiangxi. It is the most unique dance art in the Miao area of my country. It spreads in Jishou City, Fenghuang County, Luxi County, Baojing County, Huayuan County, Guzhang County, etc. in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Hunan Province
The second act is the border city. Based on Shen Congwen's story of Cuicui in the border city, it depicts the love affair between Cuicui, Tianbao and Nuo Sang. The scene aesthetically reflects the feelings of the children of Xiangxi.
The third act is climbing a building."Climbing a building" is a unique marriage and love custom of the Yao people in Chashan, Jinxiu, Guangxi. The Yao people have always had a tradition of marrying women to men and having freedom in love. The houses he lives in are all wooden structures and dry fences. When the girl in charge was old enough to fall in love, her parents arranged for her to live in a penthouse so that she could have a door-to-door meeting with young men. Whenever night falls, his girl waits for her lover in the penthouse.
The fourth act is the Maogus dance, which originated from the Tujia sacrificial ceremony and is recorded in various county annals and hall annals in the area. It is mainly spread in Longshan County, Yongshun County, Baojing County, Guzhang County and other places in Xiangxi Prefecture. Every first month, Tujia villagers make straw as clothing to play stories such as fishing, hunting and farming of the primitive people. They use them to worship their ancestors 'merits in entrepreneurship and pray for the prosperity of people and livestock and a bumper harvest of grain. Maogus has characters, dialogue, simple storyline, and a certain performance formula. It is held in turn by village or surname and lasts for five to nine days. It is all sung in ancient Tujia, so that some local languages cannot be translated by modern people. The plays preserved to this day include "Making Yangchun","Catching Meat"(i.e. hunting),"Fishing","Bridal Robbing","Torch Swing", etc.
The ninth act, Xiangxi chasing corpses."Charming Xiangxi" put it on the stage. The fundamental purpose is to satisfy the audience's curiosity and explore psychology and let everyone experience the unique geographical and humanistic corner of Xiangxi. Because the live music is scary and the scene is gloomy, you must be mentally prepared.
After watching the wonderful performance, get a good sleep.
DAY 4 Mountains and rivers meet again
The best trip in life is when you find a long-lost touch in a strange place.
The rain that had been falling for a long time finally stopped. The long-lost sunshine shone into the room through the glass. The flowers on the table were blooming neither arrogant nor impatient. Looking at the people coming and going outside the window, you smiled brightly.
Walking out of the inn, the air after the rain was particularly refreshing, making people unable to help but take a few deep breaths. There are not many tourists on Xibu Street. Walking slowly on the clean streets, you can enjoy the rare tranquility.
Xibu Street is not big, and it doesn't take much time to walk around. Back at the inn, we went to the third floor of the inn. The third floor was the hotel's teahouse. There were two teahouses. The two rooms were completely different in style. One was elegant and the other was warm. However, every table and chair in the teahouse were placed. It was particularly exquisite, making people reluctant to get up after sitting down.
There is a saying that is particularly suitable for leaving Zhangjiajie. There is "The green mountains will not change, the water will flow forever, and we will meet again soon."
I look forward to meeting different beauty and touching next time in Zhangjiajie.
