Thanks to the fact that my husband went to school in Xi'an, the car of his local classmate in Xi'an took us to the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum in Lintong in more than an hour. Because we arrived early, there were very few people at the beginning of the visit. There are some guides written online, and they all say that it is necessary to hire a commentator. After comparison, the official professional commentator service in the museum is still good. The price is clearly priced at 90 yuan and it is specially for our family of three.
The Terracotta Warriors were discovered by a farmer surnamed Yang while digging a well in 1974. It is said that Qin Shihuang began building it after he ascended the throne at the age of 13. It lasted for 39 years and involved more than 700,000 craftsmen. After building it, he was afraid that the secret would be leaked, so he buried everyone!
Most terracotta warriors looked like this when they were excavated. Our archaeologists carefully identified, classified, numbered, and pasted the pile of fragments... Such a terracotta warriors would take more than five months to complete it. How difficult it is. I suddenly feel awestruck by these people who can settle down and deal with monotonous pottery fragments for a lifetime!
The Terracotta Warriors are called the Eighth Wonder of the World, so when we visited, we saw many foreigners who also liked to come here. Some of them were fascinated by the Terracotta Warriors. The guide told us an interesting story. In 2006, a German tourist named Marin brought his homemade Qin terracotta warriors costume and came to the No. 1 pit restoration area in the morning. After dressing up, he dressed himself up as a Qin terracotta soldier before any tourists jumped out of the pit. Later, a tourist discovered that something was wrong and called the police. The police took him out after very difficult identification and investigation.
The commentator told us that every terracotta warrior had many bright colors when it was first excavated. However, due to technical problems, there was rapid oxidation when it was unearthed, and all the colors disappeared after a few minutes. What a pity.
Because Pit No. 2 was not damaged, this kneeling and shooting figure is the most completely preserved one
You see, the color of his clothes behind him was preserved using a special method.
The hair lines are clearly visible, just like the real one. It is said that every craftsman must leave his name under his feet after completing the work. If he finds that a certain part made by the terracotta warriors is not fine, he will cut off this part of the craftsman. As punishment, it shows the cruelty of the king at that time.
At that time, these weapons, war horses, and chariots were all made of bronze. After more than two thousand years, they are still well preserved!
I had actually seen Terracotta Warriors on TV before, but this time I stopped by because of its popularity. But when you actually come to them, you will find that the terracotta warriors are standing in line and neat. Each pottery figurine has a different face and expression. It is really called a thousand people with thousands of faces! Some of them have different postures. Some are kneeling and shooting, some are standing, and some are leading horses. But their eyes were firmly fixed ahead, ready for battle at any time. These terracotta warriors and horses are majestic and magnificent. They are not only a great treasure of the Chinese nation, but also the crystallization of the wisdom and civilization of the Chinese people. They symbolize the splendid culture of our ancient country. Looking at these terracotta warriors makes people feel excited and passionate. I am really proud that I am a Chinese.! No wonder the current French President Jacques Chirac, who loves Chinese historical relics, made a special trip to Xi'an to visit. He praised it as the eighth wonder of the world!
At noon, we returned to the very famous Hui Street in the city for a stroll, ready to finish lunch. At the entrance of Huimin Street, we saw the Xi'an Drum Tower. In ancient times, people chose to tell everyone the time by morning bells and evening drums. There was also a bell tower not far away.
Xi'an is rich in pomegranate, so the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice here is really sweet!
Sour plum soup and glutinous rice are sweet and sour, and are especially delicious.
The Internet commented that Jia San Tangbao was the most delicious. We went to try it. I think this bowl of eight-treasure porridge is the best!
Walking out of Huimin Street along the original road, we were going to take our son to ride a bicycle on the ancient city wall of Xi'an. Before walking far, we saw the Bell Tower facing the Drum Tower.
The ancient city wall of Xi'an was the city wall that enclosed the ancient city at that time. We originally planned to bring our son up here and enjoy the scenery inside and outside the city wall while riding a bicycle, but when we came up, we found that the bicycles here did not have seats for children at all, so we had to give up.
The sky gradually cleared up in the afternoon, and the sun shone on my body and made it warm and comfortable! Since we couldn't ride a bike, we simply walked around the ancient city wall. Because our son, who didn't like taking pictures, kept posing in various poses for me to take photos of him because he was in a good mood. Just like this, we spent the entire afternoon walking slowly on the ancient city wall while watching and taking photos. How beautiful it is now in retrospect!
When my husband studied in Xi'an, he missed the big plate of chicken outside the school when he was in college most. It took us an hour to find a restaurant that made big plate chicken in the evening. The taste was still good. We didn't want to take pictures until we ate half of it;)
Day 3 (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Yuanjiajie-Yangjiajie-Tianzi Mountain)
We booked a three-day trip to Zhangjiajie from Blueberry Travel Agency online in advance. At 1199 yuan per person, a small group of five people is still very satisfied after three days. Whether it is food, accommodation or play, it is relatively exquisite, and there are no problems such as shopping, waiting for people, and time restriction for large groups.
On the first day, I stayed at the Left Hand and Right Hand Inn outside the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. It was a unique and clean inn.
Putting down my luggage, I followed Lu for five or six minutes to the scenic spot in Zhangjiajie.
Bailong Elevator-the highest outdoor elevator in the world. When the elevator passes higher and higher through the cave, the vision in front of you also opens up. Stalagmite-like peaks rise from the ground and stand tall in front of you.
As we walked, we found many people gathered here to take photos. Director Lu asked us to guess what the mountain peak in front of us looked like? Take a closer look, haha, you can immediately understand why so many people like to take photos here. Look, do the mountains on the right look like the four great men on the past 100-dollar bill?
Where Avatar was filmed
Director Lu told us while walking: "When you come back to Zhangjiajie Park tomorrow, you should be careful not to carry your food directly in plastic bags. You must put it in your bag. When taking your food from the bag, you should be careful to see if there are any monkeys around you. There are many monkeys here." We all said disapprovingly: "Haha, can monkeys still come and rob openly?!" Before she could finish her sentence, I heard the little southern girl traveling with her, and a black shadow flashed past her. By the time we saw clearly, a monkey had already taken the plastic bag in the little girl's hand to the guardrail. On the hillside, it was grabbing a biscuit and eating it without anyone else! The poor little girl, the monkey didn't know whether to laugh or cry, so she handed a big bag of food to the monkey in this way.
As we walked, we only heard another cry of "ow" in front of us. We ran over and saw a monkey sitting in the backpack on the back of a female tourist, rummaging through food! We all rushed to see if our backpacks were packed.
When we saw the monkeys again, we were all cautious. Look at their eyes. They were staring at the hands and backpacks of every tourist, as if they had passed a security check!
Although the behavior of these "little bandits" is very arrogant and rude, people are not tired of them at all, and even take out delicious food to feed these little guys. It turns out that their bad behaviors are all spoiled by tourists.
In the afternoon, I came to the Yangjiajie Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie and looked far into the distance. A giant landscape painting was presented in front of me, and nearby rocks formed sections of the natural Great Wall.
After leaving Yangjiajie, we went to Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area and admired the mountains here. You will understand why Zhangjiajie has the reputation of "expanding bonsai, shrinking immortal mountain".
In the evening, Director Lu took us to taste the special dishes here, among which the taste of the "three pots" was well received by everyone!
After dinner, we watched the "Charming Xiangxi" large-scale party. It was a shocking visual and auditory feast!
When the moon rises, Miao boys will gather in small groups below the girl they love, use their songs and dances to show their love, and choose by climbing stairs. This original love, as clear as a spring and as strong as wine, provides us with a truly pure emotional feast.
"Catching corpses" is a unique folk custom in western Hunan. This dance tells the true historical fact that General Luo Rongguang in western Hunan led his troops to resist the Eight-Power Allied Forces at the age of 67 and stained Dagu with blood. It integrates the legend of "Catching corpses" and demonstrates the loyalty and patriotism of the people of western Hunan., love for the land and family.
Sadness and joy are one of the most complex emotions in human beings. Miao and Tujia brides began to cry before getting married, and some cried for nearly a month. In fact, they cried because of the kindness of their parents. The "crying marriage" of the Miao and Tujia ethnic groups interprets this most complex emotion of mankind and makes the world and the gods cry!
The mystery of Xiangxi is a worldwide topic. The famous "Chasing the Corpse","Fang Gu","Chenzhou Fu", as well as "Dingji","Shang Dao Mountain Down the Sea of Fire", Flying Knife, and Hard Qigong are all displayed one by one.
The sword on Daoshan is indeed very sharp
This is a sea of fire. We have also felt this fire close by. It is real.
Day 4 (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Shili Gallery-Jinbian Creek-Xibu Street-Zhangjiajie Urban Area)
Sometimes I am a very emotional person. I often like a place because I like a name. At first, I liked the "Shili Gallery" scenic spot in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park for this reason, but she really didn't disappoint me! After breakfast, we entered Zhangjiajie Park again, and our first stop was "Shili Gallery". Sitting in the eco-friendly car in the scenic area, a foreigner smiled at us in a friendly manner. My husband naturally sat over and talked with him in fluent English for ten minutes. I only knew my husband had CET-6 and did a short-term translation. This was the first time I saw him speak eloquently with others in English, and I suddenly felt admiration!
In about twenty minutes, we arrived at the "Shili Gallery" scenic spot. At the suggestion of two southern girls traveling with us, we decided not to take the small train, but to stroll while enjoying the scenery! On both sides of this ten-mile-long valley, nature once again used his magical power to carve out hundreds of stone scenery shapes that resembled people, objects, birds and beasts on the rocks on the mountain. Some were like "peacocks opening their screens","herb pickers", some were like "longevity stars welcoming guests","tigers howling to the sky"... appreciating this huge picture scroll, walking, it seemed that we were also integrated into the painting!
Director Lu told us that this is the Three Sisters Peak, each of whom is holding or leading a child, but we think it is more like the supreme treasure in the movie "A Journey to the West" made by Stephen Chow.
Here, you can spread the wings of your imagination and name them!
Shouxing welcomes guests
Xiang Wang Guanshu
A large camel resting on the ground
Isn't this mountain more like a big camel?
Tengu Moon Moon
old herbal medicine harvester
candles
Love at dusk, you see the old man looking at the old woman affectionately.
The stone in the distance gave us a thumbs up
At noon, we continued to get on the eco-friendly car in the scenic area. A few minutes later, we arrived at the next scenic spot-Jinbian River. We followed the sound of the murmuring stream and walked over. A crystal clear stream appeared in front of us, shining under the sun. The sparkling water makes you dare not look at her. The stones large and small in the stream are covered with green moss, which also looks so vibrant and energetic! We threw stones by the stream, made boats out of leaves, and ran from one side to the other on the stones. We had a great time. At this moment, we forgot our age and identity, and enjoyed the gifts of nature to the fullest. I am already intoxicated! I think only people can meet their best self so easily and comfortably on the road!
When we passed the small square, a group of monkeys ran towards us, and our son jumped excitedly. In the morning, I bought some peanuts, biscuits and fruits in the supermarket to feed them to the monkeys, but I only saw one when I arrived at the Shili Gallery. Director Lu told us that we might not see it today. My son was very disappointed! I think it should be the happiest thing for a child to have close contact with small animals during his journey. Because of yesterday's experience, my father looked around. When the monkeys turned around without paying attention, he quickly put his hand into his clothes and quickly took out a few peanuts. For fear of being discovered by them, he went directly to his clothes. Grab it, haha, it looks like he's a thief.
However, after a while of contact, we found that the monkeys in Jinbian Creek were not as barbaric as the monkeys in Yuanjiajie. Although they were anxious, they would be very gentle and wait until you threw the food to them before eating it.
Everything in the bag was given to the monkey before he reluctantly left. Whenever I recall this trip, I close my eyes and often think of this afternoon, and my heart is always filled with warm things...
After leaving Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, we took a double-decker bus and came to "Xibu Street". The child who took the double-decker bus for the first time felt an uncontrollable excitement!
Back in the city of Zhangjiajie in the evening, Lu Dao arranged the hotel on the Lishui River, which was also a very tasteful hotel.
I don't remember the name of this pot of fish, but I only remember that it tastes delicious and spicy. It is a delicacy I have never tasted before!
Lishui River at night
Day 5 (Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie-Ancient City of Fenghuang)
The reason why I always wanted to come here comes from a poem I like very much: The Tianmen interrupted the Chu River and opened, and the clear water flowed eastward and returned here. Green mountains on both sides of the strait face each other, and lone sails come from the sun. But when I really came here, I found that this "Tianmen Mountain" was not the other "Tianmen Mountain"! But after one day, we were all conquered by this magical Tianmen Mountain!
If it is magical, then the first "wonder" is reflected in the cable car that goes up the mountain. Cable cars in other places start at the foot of the mountain, but the cable car in Tianmen Mountain starts in the urban area of Zhangjiajie. The cable car is 7455 meters long. After queuing for nearly two hours, we took an all-glass cable car and passed through parks, railways, lakes, and finally arrived at the foot of Tianmen Mountain. The horrific moment has arrived. The higher the cable car goes, the steeper the cableway becomes. Later, it feels like it is rising vertically. We look down through the glass and see that there is an abyss at our feet! We all held our breath, and no one dared to move, for fear that they would fall if they moved even slightly.
The second "wonder" is reflected in the formation of a natural Tianmen Cave on the mountain. This Tianmen Cave attracts adventurous people from all over the world.
The 2016 Wingsuit Flying World Championships was held here
Arriving at the top of the mountain, looking at this wing-suit flying platform, my legs were already weak. Thinking about how dare they jump from here, I am really impressed and worried!
The third "wonder": the mountain road leading down the mountain. Don't underestimate this road. Its design is unprecedented. There are ninety-nine bends on the entire road, and each bend is what we commonly call an elbow bend. We sat in the car and walked around on this road, but you don't have to worry, the driver's standard is very high.
In the afternoon, we took a four-hour bus ride from Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang. It was already past 7 o'clock in the evening when we arrived in the ancient city of Fenghuang. It was just in time for the lights to be on in the ancient city. It was ancient and ancient, and we were all drunk.
The shrimps freshly fished from the Tuojiang River are fried and eaten directly, fresh and crispy.
Day 6 (Ancient City of Phoenix-Changsha)
The ancient city is quiet and peaceful in the morning.
In Hunan, whether it is a big restaurant or a small restaurant, the waiter will bring a basin and a pot of boiling water before eating, and iron the tableware themselves and disinfect it to make people eat with peace and comfort. We should really learn from this here. At noon, we tasted the special dish here-bloody cake duck in the ancient city. Maybe we are not used to this taste, and it is really not as delicious as the legendary one.
We visited the market in the ancient city for a while. The fire ginseng fruit is extremely bad, but I heard that it can cool down and quench my thirst. Although the red heart kiwi fruit is a bit expensive, it tastes very good, and the bacon is very famous.
In four days, we visited the natural scenery of Zhangjiajie and Phoenix, and also learned a lot about the folk customs of this generation in Xiangxi. We like it more and more.
Day 7 (Changsha Yuelu Mountain-Juzizhou-Pozi Street)
Standing in the Yuelu Academy, what comes to mind is the scenes of ancient people in class in TV dramas
"Love Evening Pavilion", the name comes from "Parking and Sitting in Love Maple Forest Evening" in Du Mu's "Mountain Journey".
Yuelu Mountain Ancient Temple
We bought snacks at noon on Duotuo Street at the foot of Yuelu Mountain. Since you come to Changsha, you must try its specialty snack-stinky tofu. I waited in line for more than half an hour to buy it. It was crispy and spicy in my mouth, and it tasted great. Only then did I realize that the stinky tofu I bought in other places before was not authentic at all.
Handsome people are not only handsome, but also more delicious.
In addition to Yuelu Mountain, Juzizhou is also a must-visit place to Changsha. Because we like the chairman's poem "Qinyuan Spring Changsha", we must visit and have a look at this place he has visited many times back then.
After walking for an hour, I finally arrived in front of the chairman's sculpture when he was young. Looking at his solemn expression and worried eyes for the country and the people, I was deeply moved. In 1925, Mao Zedong, a young man with the ideal of saving the country, visited his hometown again. Standing at the head of the continent, facing the surging Xiangjiang River, he thought about the destiny and future of the Chinese nation with excitement and imagination, and wrote the vigorous "Qinyuan Spring Changsha"
In the cold autumn of independence, the Xiangjiang River heads north, at the head of Juzizhou. Look at the mountains all red and the forests all dyed; the rivers are clear and green, and hundreds of boats compete for the current. Eagles strike the sky, fish fly to the shallow bottom, and all kinds of frost compete for freedom. Looking down on the vast expanse, I ask who controls the ups and downs on the vast earth?
Bring hundreds of couples to travel and remember the extraordinary years of the past. My classmates are young and in their prime; they are scholarly and arrogant. Pointing out the country, inspiring the words, and smearing the land of the Marquis of Ten Thousand Families. Do you ever remember that when you hit the water in the middle of the stream, the waves stopped the flying boat!
Ask Tiantai
I can't get enough on the small train. Look at the child sitting in the first row of the small train, his mouth full of joy.
Take the subway directly from Juzizhou to Pozi Street in the evening.
For some reason, the child was particularly interested in Peking Opera, so he sat over and listened attentively.
For dinner, we ordered two-color fish heads and flavored shrimp and other dishes at a century-old restaurant-Wenji Si-in-one. It is worthy of being a century-old store. The two-color fish head has delicate meat, fat but not greasy, spicy and delicious; the shrimp taste is red and bright in color, smooth and tender in texture, and spicy in taste. It is simply delicious in the world!
Day 8 (Tianxin Pavilion-Hunan Province Science and Technology Museum)
Only when I came here did I understand that Changsha's Yuelu Academy, Pozi Street, Tianxin Pavilion and other historic sites were destroyed by the Japanese army when they approached Changsha in 1938. The "Scorched Earth Resistance" formulated at that time was destroyed. The fire lasted for five days and five nights, and 3000 Changsha compatriots died in the fire, known in history as the "Wenxi Fire".
The Science and Technology Museum is a must-go place where Xiaomi must go every time he travels. He never gets tired of going!
Day 9 (Changsha-Dalian-Dandong)
At six o'clock in the evening, our family of three returned to Dandong safely. We sat together and had dinner while reminiscing about every detail of the trip. Although there were many incidents during the process, we all felt that everything was the best arrangement. Yes! It is because of this mentality that we can be calm and calm no matter what happens during the journey. I think we will continue to bring this good mentality into our future life and work, and always maintain our best self!
I also hope that when we get older, we will sit in a rocking chair and look through these photos together and recall those good times together...
