Hampton Inn Zhangjiajie is opposite the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station
Elevator requires swiping the door card
There is a door in the elevator room that leads directly to the commercial street outside the hotel
Breakfast at Hampton Inn Zhangjiajie
After settling down, I booked a ticket to enter the Tianmen Mountain Line A from 11:00 to 12:00. It should be noted that Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area implements a real-name ticket purchase system. Whether it is purchased online or on-site, you need to use your ID card to purchase tickets. There is no need to collect tickets, and you can directly swipe your ID card to enter. Tickets for Tianmen Mountain are divided into Line A tickets (check in from the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station and go up the mountain--Tianmen Mountain Cableway Up the mountain--Take the 7-level mountain-crossing escalator from the top of the mountain to visit Tianmen Cave--Take the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway Down the mountain--Exit the scenic spot--Take the scenic spot shuttle bus to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station). Line B ticket (Take the scenic shuttle bus at the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station--to the gate, check in to enter the scenic spot--Take the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway up to Tianmen Cave for sightseeing--Take the 7-level mountain-crossing escalator from the top of Tianmen Cave to the top of the mountain--Tour the top of the mountain--Take the cableway from the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station and go down the mountain). Line C ticket (Take the scenic shuttle bus at the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station--to the mountain gate, check in to enter the scenic spot--Take the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway up to Tianmen Cave for sightseeing--Take the Level 7 mountain-crossing escalator from the top of Tianmen Cave to the top of the mountain--Tour the top---Take the Level 7 mountain-crossing escalator from the top to return to Tianmen Cave--Take the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway down the mountain--Exit the scenic spot--Take the scenic shuttle bus to Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station).
Line A is lined up separately, and most people choose line A, so there are also the largest number of people. BC lines up together, and there are relatively few people. No matter which route you take, the starting station of the entire Tianmen Mountain scenic spot is the cableway station in the urban area and also the ticket office. There are two entrances, Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station and Shanmen. The two entrances are about 8 kilometers apart, and there are shuttle buses from the scenic area (the fee is included). The tourist attractions for Tianmen Mountain are the same for Line A and Line BC tickets, only in different order. The difference is that the A line is down (first at the top of the mountain and then at the foot of the mountain, and down the 999 ladder), while the BC line is up (first at the mountain and then at the top of the mountain, and up the 999 ladder) is more tiring. Booking tickets depends on whether you are climbing the 999 ladder or descending the 999 ladder. Tickets for Tianmen Mountain are not only divided into routes, but also divided into time periods, one hour and one time period. The scenic area adopts time-based reservations to improve the user experience. For example, the ticket for the A line I booked has the check-in time 11;00-12:00, tourists are required to check in at the cableway station during the check-in time period to enter the scenic area (they cannot enter early, but they can still enter after the time period).
June 29, Tianmen Mountain
After breakfast at the hotel, walk to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station and take the Tianmen Mountain Cableway to Tianmen Mountain. The line has a slope length of 7455 meters and a height difference of 1277 meters. It is 28 minutes one way and reaches the top of Tianmen Mountain directly.
There is air conditioning inside, and the air conditioning system is not allowed to enter.
The top of Tianmen Mountain is a complete primitive secondary forest, which is beautifully known as the Hanging Garden. The tour at the top of the mountain is divided into the middle line (the middle line is Yunmeng Xianding, the highest peak of Shangtianmen Mountain), the east line and the west line. With the cableway station and Tianmen Mountain Temple as two endpoints, the east and west lines are exactly one circle. The western line has the best scenery. We chose to go to the middle line first and then take the Grand Loop Line from the western line to the eastern line.
Standing on the cableway and passing through the long passage, I found the straight ladder leading to Yunmeng Xianding. Yunmeng Xianding is a platform with an absolutely good view. I can look around the entire top of Tianmen Mountain 360 degrees. Go around, take photos, and take the elevator (both up and down are free) back to the cableway station.
There are two other ways to get to Yunmeng Xianding: one is to take the forest cable car up at Tianmen Temple for 38 yuan one way; the other is to walk up at the fork next to Gongtong Garden. It is said that the scenery is average and the walking time is not long. You can choose a straight ladder or a forest cable car for the return journey. If you buy a line A ticket to Yunmeng Xianding, my personal suggestion is to go up and down the elevator directly, and then take a loop on the west and east lines. This way, the line can be arranged easily and there is no need to spend money. Moreover, when taking the Grand Loop Road, you will not take the wrong road, because when taking the Western and Eastern Loop Road, you will have to take the escalator through the mountain to go down Tianmen Cave before you reach the cableway station. Follow the road signs and start my Hilltop Loop Road from the west line to the east line in the direction of Lingxiao Terrace. Attractions on the west line (total length of 2.7 kilometers) include Lingxiao Terrace, glass plank road on the west line, Guigu plank road, suspension bridge, Guigu Cave to Tianmen Mountain Temple,
The Guigu Plank Road hangs along the cliffs on the upper side of Guigu Cave. It has a total length of 1600 meters and an average altitude of 1400 meters. It is the most exciting section on the top of Tianmen Mountain. More than half of the western route is walked on it.
This observation deck stretches out beyond the mountain and has a wide view. It may be one of the best observation decks on Tianmen Mountain.
The suspension bridge is built between two mountains. It is very strong and will not sway even when jumping.
Tianmenshan Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty and is the Buddhist center in western Hunan. Since the temple was built, there have been many believers and the incense has flourished. Tianmen Mountain Temple What I introduce to you is that the last hall houses the sari of the real Buddha.(On the afternoon of June 8, 2009, the newly renovated Tianmen Mountain Temple in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, the solemn and loud sound of trumpets resounded through the mountains, and Dharma music echoed in all directions. For the first time, the Chinese Buddhist community organized a group to visit the hometown of Buddha founder Sakyamuni, Nepal's sari invited by Lumbini, Nepal, and officially placed it here). At the entrance of Tianmen Mountain Temple, there is a bus stop to Yunmeng Xianding Forest Cable Car. Bypass the forest cable car and go straight to the east line (3.7 kilometers in total length). The attractions include Gongtong Garden, the east line glass plank road, and the south overlooking Tianmen Cave, Cherry Bay, etc. At the intersection of Gongtong Garden, I wanted to visit Kunpeng Peak, but it was temporarily closed due to heavy fog and heavy rain.(I didn't see it in the rain, the staff said, but the fog was really heavy), walked to the escalator through the mountain and stood up (The Tianmen Mountain mountain-crossing elevator runs in a mountain tunnel throughout the entire journey, from Tianmen Cave Square to the top of the mountain. There are 12 sections in total, with a running length of 897 meters, an elevated height of 340 meters, and a total span of 692 meters), including from Tianmen Cave Square to Tianmen Cave is the lower section, which replaces the 999-level ladder. There is a fee of 32 yuan/person per way. From Tianmen Cave to the top of the mountain is the upper section. This section is the only road, so it is free. Take the mountain-crossing escalator and go down to Tianmen Cave. Tianmen Cave is the highest natural mountain-crossing cave in the world. It is located on a cliff at an altitude of more than 1260 meters. The door opening is 131.5 meters high and more than 50 meters wide. It is full of clouds all year round. There have always been three major wonders: "Tianmen Spitting Mist","Tianmen Lingguang", and "Plum Blossom Rain". It is said that it was a strange sight of Tianmen spitting out mist on that day, but for me, I wanted to see the true appearance of Tianmen Gate. Leave regrets next time. Then walk down the 999 ladder. The ladder is very steep, making the legs tiring up and the heart tiring down. Standing on the top of the ladder and looking down, it feels scary. In fact, it is very safe to walk the ladder. There are handrails on both sides. It is recommended to take the ladder and experience it. Moreover, looking at Tianmen Cave on the ladder is another feeling.
Tianmen Cave--The fog is heavy, the rain is heavy, nothing can be seen
Arriving at Tianmen Cave Square, follow the crowd to the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway Station, take the express cableway down the mountain (directly swipe your ID card, one car can seat 26 people, the time is very short), and you will pass the Tianmen Fox Fairy Performance Site and leave the mountain gate. There is a shuttle bus back to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station. At this point, my trip to Tianmen Mountain was over. I had dinner at the three pots next to the hotel and returned to the hotel to rest.
Tianmen Huxian Performance Hall
June 30, Zhangjiajie City--Wulingyuan National Forest Park (Shili Gallery)--Charming Xiangxi
Wake up naturally. The hotel checks out after breakfast and waits for the shuttle bus to Wulingyuan Bus Station at the bus stop in front of Wulingshanzhen Museum diagonally opposite the hotel. If we take the tourist shuttle bus at Wulingshanzhen Museum Station like this, there will definitely be seats in the off-season, but it's hard to say in the peak season. I don't get a bus at the bus station. The main reason is that the Hampton Inn Zhangjiajie is diagonally opposite Wulingshanzhen Museum Station, just across the road. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station, and it's raining. I really don't want to walk to the bus station.
Shuttle bus from Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station to Wulingyuan Bus Station (Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station is just a 5-minute walk near the railway station, making it very convenient to go to the Forest Park or transfer to surrounding cities and counties. The trains from the Central Bus Station to the Forest Park Ticket Station and the Wulingyuan Ticket Station are very dense. Both of them depart at 6:30 at the earliest, and depart every 10- 15 minutes. They depart through running water. The shuttle bus from the Central Bus Station to the sign gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ends at Wulingyuan Bus Station. The journey is about 60 minutes, and the fare is 13 yuan.) The shuttle bus comes out from the bus station and first circles in the urban area. It will pass through the railway station, Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station, and Wulingshan Treasures Museum. The whole circle takes about 10 minutes. On the way from the urban area to the high-speed rail station, the shuttle bus runs so slowly, almost stop-and-go. At the high-speed rail station, the previous shuttle bus directly hands over all passengers to the shuttle bus I am on. The driver said that they are like this in normal times. The bus station requires running water to depart every 10 minutes. There is no delay. They need to support their families and it is impossible to run empty.
The shuttle bus speeds up after passing the high-speed rail station, and it takes about an hour to reach Pullman Zhangjiajie Jingwu Hotel. First of all, the hotel has convenient transportation. There is a bus stop at the entrance of the hotel. The shuttle bus from Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station to Wulingyuan Bus Station stops at the hotel. There is no need to go to Wulingyuan Bus Station for the return trip. Just stop the bus from Wulingyuan Railway Station or Bus Station at the entrance of the hotel and go to the South Gate (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Ticket Station), just stop and hang the minibus from Forest Park-Wulingyuan directly at the entrance of the hotel. It is a bit away to the East Gate (Suoxiyu Sign Gate of Zhangjiajie Forest Park). It is about 10 minutes 'walk. You can also take a taxi. The price is 10 yuan per bite. The concierge in the lobby of the hotel can help call a taxi. There are many taxis, so you don't need to worry about not having a car. Secondly, the location is very good. Next door is the Charming Xiangxi Performance Site, which is convenient to watch the performance. There is a food street diagonally opposite, as well as supermarkets and fruit shops, which are convenient for shopping and eating. The interior of the room is carpet and has sanitary dead spots. This is worth understanding. The room is cleaned in place. Overall, the room is clean and tidy. The hotel is 17 years old (Ctrip notes). The room equipment and facilities are a bit old and indeed old. The hotel staff have a good service attitude and answer any questions. Breakfast includes rice noodles, fried rice, grilled meat, roasted sausage and 6 or 7 hot dishes. In the cold section, there are fruits, salads, milk, etc. Generally speaking, the dishes are rich and delicious.
After checking in, I was ready to go to Huangshi Village. I met the hotel concierge staff at the door and enthusiastically sent a map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Scenic Area. I advised me to give up the idea of going to Huangshi Village and took out my mobile phone to show me Zhangjiajie One-Plane Tour Mini programs (You can view the videos of various scenic spots in the Forest Park in real time.) I realized at a glance that all the scenic spots up the mountain were filled with fog and it was still raining. The concierge staff suggested that I go to Jinbianxi or Shili Gallery. I am not afraid of rain or fog. It will not affect my play. Follow the advice and walk out of the hotel for about 10 minutes to the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Suoxiyu Sign Gate, formerly known as Wulingyuan Ticket Station and Wulingyuan Wujiayu Ticket Station), Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is very large and consists of four parts: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzishan Nature Reserve, Suoxiyu Nature Reserve and Yangjiajie Nature Reserve. There are a total of five ticket stations, East Gate (Suoxiyu Sign Gate), South Gate (Forest Park Ticket Station), Southeast Gate (Zimugang Ticket Station), and West Gate (Yangjiajie Ticket Station). North Gate (Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station). In the past few days, I have been visiting the East Gate (Suoxiyu Sign Gate, which has a tall tower at the entrance. The official website introduced that the sign gate is a landmark building in Wulingyuan and a beautiful scenery in Wulingyuan Yuancheng District. With the idea of a deep courtyard and nine cornices at the corners, it integrates world natural heritage and Tujia architectural culture.(Small green tiles, sloping roofs, external eaves, corner buildings, and light gray walls) cost 25 million yuan and have a construction area of 5045 square meters. The main building has a total of 9 floors and a height of 39.9 meters. It looks like a little giant standing in Wuling Yuancheng District) in and out, entering from the south gate once (At the entrance of the Forest Park ticket station, there is a bronze statue of Wu Guanzhong, a famous contemporary painter and art educator. Zhangjiajie stepped out of the boudoir step by step with his travel essay "Raising in the Boudoir Unknownst to People-A Lost Scenic Pearl"., towards the world). If you buy tickets online, you can get tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (including environmentally friendly vehicles in the scenic area, excluding cableways, elevators and other transportation vehicles). Because the forest park is very large, it is divided into mountain and mountain scenic spots. There are two parts on the mountain scenic spot. One part is Tianzi Mountain, Yangjiajie, and Yuanjiajie are connected and can be reached by mountain scenic spot bus. The other part is Huangshizhai, which is a separate mountain. Jinbianxi and Shili Gallery in the scenic spots at the foot of the mountain. There is no limit on admission time when purchasing online. Buy it at any time and enter the park at any time. Large tickets can be entered from the 5 ticket stations: the East Gate (Suoxiyu Sign Gate), the South Gate (Forest Park Ticket Station), and the Southeast Gate (Zimugang Ticket Station), the West Gate (Yangjiajie Ticket Station), and the North Gate (Tianzishan Ticket Station). The big ticket is valid for 4 days. There is no need to pick up the ticket. You can directly swipe your ID card to enter.
Enter the scenic spot and take an eco-friendly car to Shili Gallery Station. Whether it is a parking lot on the mountain or at the foot of the mountain, there are staff guidance and guidance. Whether you go to the Tianzishan Cableway Station, Shili Gallery, Shuilaosimen, Bailong Tiantian Station, or Sanchakou Station, just listen to the station name and eco-friendly car number reported by the staff, and then ride according to the number. Shuilaosimen and Bailong Tiantian Station are on the same train, and the distance between the two stations is not far. The eco-friendly bus route is Qiaomen Ticket Station-Shili Gallery Station-Shuilao Simen Station (also called Jinbianxi Station, this station can transfer to Zimugang Ticket Station)-Bailong Tiantixia Station (take Bailong Tiantian up the mountain and head to Yuanjiajie of Forest Park). It takes about 15 minutes to reach Shili Gallery Station, take a small train to enter and walk out. Shili Gallery is known as 10 miles, but actually 4-5 miles. It is all flat roads and easy to walk. It is estimated that the round-trip walk is about 1.5 hours. There is no need to take a small train in good weather. Continue to take the eco-friendly car to Shuiwasimen Station and prepare to hike Jinbian Creek. It rained lightly at Shili Gallery. When entering Jinbian Creek, the rain became heavier and heavier, and it seemed like drifting and heavy rain. I could only return to Shuiwasimen, rest in Dekki and wait for the rain to stop. After waiting for a long time, the rain had no intention of stopping. I simply returned to the Forest Park Sign Gate. The rain was too heavy, so I took a taxi back to the hotel.
At check-in, the front desk staff specially told us that the Charming Xiangxi performance venue was next to the hotel. You can choose Charming Xiangxi by looking at the performance pictures. We booked a ticket for the Charming Xiangxi performance at 19:20 p.m. in our room. There are two performances in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie. One is "Charming Xiangxi", which is a microcosm of Xiangxi culture with strong national characteristics and takes you to know different Xiangxi. The first is "Eternal Love in Zhangjiajie", which condenses the history, culture and legends of Zhangjiajie for hundreds of millions of years. It is divided into "Canghai Mulangtian","Wuling Wonderland","Legend of Tianzi Mountain","Past Events in a Small Town","Masang Tree","Love in Xiangxi", etc. After watching the performance, we chose Sanxiaguo opposite the Charming Xiangxi Theater because we didn't want to find anything else. Moreover, it was the same brand as the one we ate next to the Tianmen Mountain Hilton Hotel yesterday. After dinner, the hotel rested.
July 1 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain)
After breakfast, walk to the sign gate and visit the scenic spots on the mountains of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park today (Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Laowuchang, Dagantai). These five scenic spots on the mountain are connected. You only need to go up and down the mountain once to visit all five scenic spots. Take an eco-friendly car to Bailong Tiantian Lower Station. The eco-friendly car route is Lingmen Ticket Station-Shili Gallery Station-Shuilao Simen Station-Bailong Tiantian Lower Station. Bailong Tiantian, one-way discount ticket is 72 yuan, one-way discount ticket is 36 yuan. It is very convenient for individual customers to purchase tickets. There are many QR code pictures in front of the ticket office. You can just scan the code directly. The staff recommends buying a round-trip ticket at 144 yuan (It is said that you can take the VIP channel and no need to queue.) The vertical height difference of the Bailong Ladder is 335 meters and the running height is 326 meters, which is equivalent to the height of a 100-story building! The running speed can reach 5.25 meters/second, and it can instantly bring people to the top of the mountain or the foot of the mountain in 66 seconds. Maybe we arrived late and didn't encounter a large force. We arrived in about 10 minutes, and we were standing close to the elevator. In the first row of glass, we can enjoy a unique scene in Zhangjiajie from the perspective of the first row-Shenshen Gathering, located directly opposite the Bailong Ladder and composed of 48 relatively independent stone peaks. It was the place where Xiang Tianzi, the Tujia uprising leader, led his troops to revolt, so it was also known as the 48th General Rock.
Get off the Bailong ladder, follow the trail to the parking lot, stand on the Bailong ladder to the parking lot, there is a long way to go. Take an environmentally friendly car from the parking lot to Yuanjiajie, and the green car line on the mountain is connected. Bailong Tian ladder Station-back Garden Station (Yuanjiajie)-Maze platform Station (Yuanjiajie)-the first Bridge Station under Heaven (Yuanjiajie)-Wangqiatai Station (Yuanjiajie)-Yangjiajie Cableway Station (Yangjiajie)-Sanchakou Station (Lao UK Field)-Shentang Bay Station (Tianzishan)-Dianjiangtai Station (Tianzishan)-Helong Park Station (Tianzishan)-Tianzishan Cableway Station. Among them, the Sanchakou Station is a transit station, which can be transferred to the Tianzishan Scenic spot (Tianzishan entrance ticket Station-Sanchajie intersection), the environmental protection car goes up the mountain free of charge, and the Yangjiajie Scenic spot (Sanchakou Station-Yangjiajie Cableway Station), Yuanjiajie Scenic spot (Sanchakou Station-Yangjiajie Cableway Station-the first Bridge under the World (Yuanjiajie)-Bailong Tiantian Station). At both ends of the Yuanjiajie Scenic spot are the Bailong Tian Leng Station and the first Bridge Station in the World. The Bailong Tian ladder goes up the hill and takes an environmentally friendly car to the back Garden. Start playing in the back garden, from the back garden through the ecstasy platform (the most famous here is Qian Kunzhu, the more than 1,000-meter-high Qian Kunzhu is the business card of Zhangjiajie, the prototype of Hallelujah Mountain in the movie "Avatar"), to the first Bridge in the World, end the tour of Yuanjiajie for about 2 hours. Take an environmentally friendly car at the first Bridge Station in the world to Yangjiajie cableway. After getting off, go to the Yangjiajie ropeway and go in that direction. After the ropeway, you will get to the Natural Great Wall. And then go back the same way. Yangjiajie Scenic spot is one of the larger scenic spots on the mountain, because the forest fire Oolongzhai Tianbofu closed, I did not want to walk down Yangjiajie, so one step up to the sky, the air corridor did not see. Take an environmentally friendly car on the Yangjiajie cableway to the three forks to see the old house farm. It is said that it is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and the stone pillars here are also the most beautiful and typical of the whole Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The old house contains two scenic spots: the gathering of magical soldiers and the pastoral sky. To visit the old house, you have to take a battery car, it is an extra fee, and the round trip is 53 yuan per person. You can see the Bailong ladder opposite the Shenbing party, and you can see the operation of the Bailong ladder. The scenery here can be said to be the most beautiful of the whole Wulingyuan Scenic spot in Zhangjiajie. It's worth seeing! Although it costs another 53 yuan. Return to the three forks station, take the environmental protection car to the Daguan platform, and tell the master that he was under the Daguan platform. As a result, he was answered that the time for waiting for the bus had arrived, and it was estimated that in 3 minutes, I thought the master would not stop, but the master was a good man. I stepped on it. The grand viewing platform is just an observation platform, the tour route is T-shaped, you need to go down 600 steps from the asphalt road, and then you need to see the left and right roads, to the left and to the left, chicken pecking and one step is difficult to walk, it takes more than ten minutes to get there. Go right to Xianren Bridge and Zodiac. I heard it would take more than half an hour, but we didn't go there. No matter to the left or to the right, you need to go back the same way. And you have to climb 600 scary steps to get back to the Daguantai eco-friendly bus station. When I returned to the Daguantai station, I waited for several trains without stopping, but I walked directly back to the three forks station, which was really not very far. There are still two small spots between Sanchou Station and he long Park (Tianzi Mountain Scenic spot), namely, Shentang Bay and Commander Appointing Platform. I first consulted the staff, which of the two scenic spots, Shentang Bay and Commander Appointing Platform, is worth seeing. And why so many cars didn't stop at Dagantai station just now. Finally, I chose Commander Appointing Platform. The main staff said that Commander Appointing Platform was more than 1000 meters away from he long Park and walked for about 15 minutes. Even if there is no green car parking, we can still walk to Helong Park. Take an environmentally friendly car to Commander Appointing Platform to remind you that when you go to some small scenic spots, you must tell the driver in advance. Otherwise, it's straight through. Commander Appointing Platform my feeling is that there are few tourists, the visit time is not long, and the waiting time for the bus is long. Take an environmentally friendly car to the he long Park Station in Tianzi Mountain Scenic spot. Helong Park is small and the scenic spot is ringed. There are he long bronze statue, Tianzi Pavilion, and several viewing platforms such as Xiannu Sanhua, Xihai Peak Forest, Yubifeng, Fairy Sanhua, etc., and visit each viewing platform. Finally, take the Tianzi Mountain cableway down the mountain, change to the East Gate (Suoxiyu sign Gate) and take a taxi back to the hotel.
July 2, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Huangshi Village, hiking Jinbian Creek)
It's still the same rule, wake up naturally. After breakfast, we leave Huangshizhai and wait at the entrance of the hotel for the shuttle bus with the words Forest Park = Wulingyuan (the shuttle bus from Wulingyuan Bus Station to the Forest Park Gate passes in front of Pullman Zhangjiajie Jingwu Hotel). It's not long, it will be there in a while. It's about 30 minutes to reach the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Ticket Station. The shuttle bus is 10 yuan per person. The shuttle bus stops at the entrance of the Forest Park Ticket Station and takes a short walk to enter the scenic spot.
Enter from the Forest Park Ticket Station, walk 5 minutes to Dayang Bar Square Station, and take an eco-friendly bus to Huangshizhai Cableway Station. The eco-car route is: Dayang Bar Square-Huangshizhai Cableway Exit Station. There is also one stop on this eco-car route to Longfeng 'an Exit Station. From Longfeng' an Exit Station, you need to walk a forest plank road, about 15 minutes to Longfeng 'an Station, and then take the eco-car-Yangjiajie Cableway Exit Station. Take the Yangjiajie cableway up the mountain and visit Yangjiajie-Yuanjiajie-Tianzi Mountain. Huangshi Village was once a must-see attraction when visiting Zhangjiajie, but Huangshi Village is a separate scenic spot and is not interconnected with any other scenic spots on the mountain. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park has been fully developed and has become an optional tourist attraction after opening. Arrive at the lower station of Huangshizhai Cableway, buy a round-trip cableway ticket, and take the cable car to the upper station of Huangshizhai Cableway. Huangshizhai Scenic Area is a large loop line, including fairy laying flowers, fog sea golden turtles, monkey shuai soldiers, Buddha Zhang Peak, Liuqi Pavilion, Tianqiao Yidun and other viewing platforms. Take a tour of the mountains and see all the attractions. It takes about 2 hours to walk the Grand Loop Road. It's hard to say whether Huangshi Village is beautiful or not, because the aesthetics are tired. But few tourists from Huangshi Village are real.
Take the cableway down the mountain. Take an environmentally friendly vehicle to Dayang Bar Square and enter Jinbian Creek. At both ends of Jinbian Creek are Shuihuan Simen and Dayang Bar Square. The total length is 7.5 kilometers, all flat roads can only be walked. Attractions include the gods of eagles protecting the whip, the golden whip rock, the zitake pond, the water surrounds the four gates, and the thousands of miles meet. The air in the golden whip creek is fresh and the humidity is very high. If you don't rush to walk slowly, you can spend more time playing with the water by the creek. It's also good. I originally wanted to walk halfway, but later the guy suggested walking directly the whole way, so that there was no need to go back and there was no need to go to the ticket station to wait for the shuttle bus. We arrived at Shuishuiaosimen in about 2 hours, took an eco-friendly car to the sign gate, and returned to the hotel.
July 3 Zhangjiajie--Fenghuang Ancient City
After breakfast, I checked out and waited at the entrance of the hotel for the shuttle bus from Wulingyuan Bus Station to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station (via Zhangjiajie West Station). As a result, I was seen by a passing taxi. The master strongly recommended that I take his car. The shuttle bus was 26 for two people, so he asked me to add another 26 and send it directly to the high-speed railway station. It was comfortable and fast. After thinking that the taxi master was right and the price was reasonable, I finally took a taxi to Zhangjiajie West Station. I purchased the high-speed railway from Zhangjiajie West to Fenghuang Ancient City at 11:30 on the bus. I booked Phoenix International Hotel on the high-speed train for a simple reason. Online reviews said that Phoenix International Hotel is next to Nanhuali Visitor Center and very, very close to Fenghuang Ancient City. It takes about 1 hour to reach Fenghuang Ancient City Station by high-speed rail. Take the high-speed rail shuttle bus at Fenghuang Ancient City High-speed Railway Station, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach Nanhuali Visitor Center. It passes through the commercial street and walks for 2- 3 minutes to reach Phoenix International Hotel. The hotel is right at the entrance of Fenghuang Ancient City. After exiting the hotel, turn right and walk downhill for 2-3 minutes to Fenghuang Cultural Square and Ancient City Visitor Center. It takes a ten minute walk to Beimen Pier. At the entrance of the hotel is the commercial district, with many restaurants and KFC, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The hotel has not many varieties of breakfast, and there is no problem if you are full. The room provides fruits and two small bottles of mineral water (mineral water cannot be added). The disadvantage is that the front desk is too enthusiastic and she will sell Amei to take you around the ancient city or Miao Village when you meet. The hotel has average soundproofing effect and average cleanliness in the room. Check in at the hotel, visit the ancient city, come back for dinner, rest, and visit the ancient city at night.
July 4, the ancient city of Fenghuang--Changsha
I visit the ancient city three times early in the morning. In the early morning, there are fewer people and much quieter in the ancient city. Went back to the hotel to check out, booked the high-speed train at 12:35 noon, and arrived at Changsha South Railway Station in 2 and a half hours.
At Changsha South High-speed Railway Station, take Changsha Metro Line 2 to People's Square East, transfer to Line 6 to Baigezui Station, and walk 3 minutes from Exit 4 to Changsha Yuelu Hilton Hotel. Although the hotel is far away from pedestrian streets such as Wuyi Square, it is close to Wangfujing Commercial Street. There are tea and beauty spots on the lower floor, Hippo Supermarket, and various gourmet restaurants on the fifth floor, making it convenient for eating and shopping. Next to it is Baigezui Station of Changsha Metro Line 6. Line 6 goes directly to the airport. You need to transfer once to Changsha South, Wuyi Square, Juzizhou, and Yuelu Mountain. Overall, travel is convenient. The hotel is very new (Ctrip standard accommodation is in 2022), with new and complete equipment and facilities. Smart electric curtains and light controls, toilet, shower, and sink are separated, and there is a lot of space. The room is clean and has no dead spots in hygiene. Breakfast is in the lobby on the first floor. The dishes are not rich and there is no problem eating enough. Check-in, return to Baige Tsui Station, take the subway to Wuyi Square to go shopping and have snacks. As a result, I found it pouring heavily after leaving the subway. What's the situation? It was fine while taking the subway. Just like the scene when I first arrived at Shuiaosimen, the heavy rain had no intention of stopping, so I had to return to the hotel. Daniu had a hot pot next to the hotel, and then went to the first floor of Wangfujing Commercial Street to have a cup of Internet black tea Yanyue color tea.
July 5, Yuelu Mountain Juzi Island
After breakfast, take the subway to Yuelu Mountain. Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area is located in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, with an altitude of 300.8 meters. It is the last peak of the 72 peaks of Hengshan Mountain in the south mountain. Yuelu Mountain in the city is worth a visit, as the eyes are full of green. The scenic area has two entrances: the south gate and the east gate. Most cultural attractions are close to the south gate, including Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion, and Hunan University. By the way, when searching for Yuelu Mountain travel guides, they all said that they need to make reservations in advance. Reservations can be made on the Weixin Official Accounts of Yuelu Mountain Juzizhou Tourist Area. I entered from the south gate, and no one checked whether I had made a reservation. I didn't see the inspection reservation code when I went out from the east gate. I didn't experience the Yuelu Mountain Cableway and the Yuelu Mountain Slide in the scenic area. The Yuelu Mountain Cableway was stopped after May Day. According to the staff, it was going to be converted into a cable-car cable car. There are too many tourists on the Yuelu Mountain slide. If you take a battery car down the mountain from the top of the mountain, you will stop at the slide station. Whenever a battery car stops, the staff of the slide will loudly announce that the waiting time on the slide will take one and a half hours. Moreover, you will have to charge again to get off the battery car and get on the battery car. Exit the east gate of Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area and walk to Rongwan Town Subway Station of Changsha Metro Line 2. The walking distance is a bit far. Take the subway back to the hotel to rest.
In the afternoon, we depart for Juzizhou Scenic Area. Juzizhou is located in the center of the Xiangjiang River in the urban area of Changsha. It is the largest famous continent in the Xiangjiang River and one of the important scenic spots in Changsha. It is known as "China's No. 1 Continent". It is a national key scenic spot. There are scenic spots such as the Historical and Cultural Exhibition Hall, Xiaoxiang Celebrity Club, and Citrus Cultural Park. When visiting Juzizhou, you are all about seeing the famous statue of Chairman Mao. Juzizhou Scenic Area also requires advance reservations (official website prompts). After leaving the subway, you will find the ticket office for a small train. The ticket price is 20 yuan. We didn't buy it. The main reason is that there are too many people queuing up to buy tickets, and there are also too many tourists taking the small train. When you go to the door, you can swipe your ID card to enter. The scenic area is very big, and it's very comfortable to stroll slowly. Finally, I took photos with the great statue of Chairman Mao, walked out of the scenic area, and returned to the hotel to rest the same way.
