Our trip to Zhangjiajie allowed us to fully appreciate the unique charm of Xiangxi. The stunning scenery completely shattered our expectations, and the beauty here is truly unique. This unique peak forest landform and magnificent karst landscape, excavated from the depths of the mountains, as well as the majestic Tianmen Mountain and the misty Xibu Street at night, all make us fall in love with it, as if we are in a fairyland of fairy mountains. The whole journey was like a dream, where the scenery was both familiar and unfamiliar, captivating and unforgettable.

The sight here is strange because although the reputation of "Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area looks at the water and Zhangjiajie looks at the mountains" has long been well known, we have almost traveled all over the country but have never been to either of these two places. Although we have always wanted to go as soon as possible, some people are afraid that the name does not match the reality and the reality will break our dreams. The familiar scenery here is not only because I have seen countless pictures online, but also because I watched the TV series Journey to the West when I was a child, and in recent years, I have watched movies such as Avatar, Monkey King, Monkey King, Zhong Kui Conquers Demons, Monster Hunt, and Heart Flower Road, all of which feature the figures of Zhangjiajie. It can be said that I am no longer unfamiliar with this place. But whether unfamiliar or familiar, Zhangjiajie still gives us an unparalleled shock. Here, three thousand stone peaks rise from the ground, and eight hundred streams meander and twist. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a miniature fairyland and an enlarged bonsai. Zhangjiajie was developed very late, only over 30 years ago. Compared to the famous mountains and rivers that have attracted countless tourists for hundreds or thousands of years, this place may not have a profound cultural heritage, but it has a more unique primitive style.

The scenery here has hardly undergone any artificial carving, with stone pillars and peaks, cliffs and cliffs, ancient and famous trees, clouds and smoke, flowing springs and waterfalls, and rare birds and animals everywhere. Being immersed in it is like entering a magical world and a charming artistic landscape corridor. Whether on Tianzi Mountain or Tianmen Mountain, looking at the dreamlike scenery around us, we just want to leap forward, soar in the blue sky, and blend in with the beautiful scenery here.

Visiting Zhangjiajie should be arranged according to your own time. Generally speaking, the forest park, which is the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, needs 2 days. If the time is not tight, 3 days can also be used.

Must visit attractions include Jinbianxi, Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, and Tianzishan, while alternative attractions include Shili Gallery and Laowuchang, each with its own unique features.

In addition to the forest park, Zhangjiajie also has surrounding attractions such as Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, Baofeng Lake, Huanglong Cave, and Tujia Cultural Park, all of which have their unique features and are worth visiting if you have time. In particular, Tianmen Mountain, like the Forest Park, is a 5A scenic spot, famous for its precipitousness, as well as the world's longest cableway, glass walkway, ghost valley plank road, mountain cableway, mountain elevator, Tianmen Cave, 999 stairs to the sky, and 99 turns of Panshan Road to the sky, all of which are amazing and magical experiences, and are definitely worth visiting.

[About playing] There are two forest parks in Zhangjiajie, namely Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Spot), which are particularly easy to confuse. Tianmen Mountain Forest Park is in the urban area, and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is 50 minutes away from the urban area. Tickets are also purchased separately. To put it simply: The glass walkway and Tianmen Cave are located in Tianmen Mountain, and the exterior of Avatar is located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is very large and cannot be visited for a day, at least two days. Tickets are universal and valid for 4 days. After entering, there is no need to buy tickets again. But the expenses for taking cableways, small trains, etc. need to be purchased separately.

Regarding transportation, the transportation in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is for eco-friendly vehicles, which do not incur additional charges. It is important to first understand which vehicle to take and where to wait in order to avoid wasting time.
