Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is a newly developed tourist attraction located in Sanguansi Township, Cili County, Zhangjiajie City. As a famous tourist attraction in China, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon has its own beautiful scenery halo. Everything here is so natural and harmonious, peaceful and wonderful!
The most exciting Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon glass bridge has set ten "world records" and can be regarded as a model of international bridge construction. It has a transparent glass bridge with a total length of 385 meters, known as the world's longest glass bridge. As a world-renowned wonder, the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge comes with a dreamy halo, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon from 360 degrees on the bridge deck. The bridge deck is paved with 99 pieces of fully transparent glass, and from a distance, the glass bridge is as thin as cicada wings, "invisible" in the landscape. From the glass bridge down the cliff path to the bottom of the valley, the sound of waterfalls and streams can be heard from afar. The vegetation on the mountain is lush, the monkeys are playing, the birds are singing, the flowers are fragrant, the bees are flying and butterflies are dancing, the air is fresh and humid, and the temperature is several degrees higher than the top and bottom, which is very comfortable.
Walk one to two hundred meters along the valley floor, and through the tender green leaves, a long waterfall comes into view. The water rushes down from a hundred meter high cliff, hitting the rocks and forming a fine mist, creating a picturesque atmosphere of "flying straight down three thousand feet, suspected to be the Milky Way falling into the sky".
At the bottom of the valley is a quiet stream. Beside the stream, a wooden boardwalk has been artificially built, winding and twisting for several miles. Walking along the boardwalk, the cliffs on both sides become narrower, and there are more and more small waterfalls. The water flow in the stream also becomes wider, following our footsteps and slowly flowing downwards.
The winding path twists and turns, slowly wandering on the boardwalk, listening to the chirping of birds and insects, the joyful singing of streams, and the chirping of cicadas in midsummer. Relax and feel the natural sounds of nature.
The water flow becomes bigger and wider, eventually converging into a pool. The pool water is emerald green, like a gentle jade, reflecting the shadows of people. Mandarin ducks play in the water in the pool, and there is a waterfall flying down from the cliffs, falling into the embrace of Cuitan. Therefore, this scenic spot is called "Cuitan Lanpu".
Further ahead, climb up a stone arch bridge. Inside the stone arch bridge is a huge hole where you can't see your fingers. Look at the introduction board, which shows many wild giant salamanders, also known as baby fish. Due to the high water quality requirements of wild baby fish, it is impossible for them to grow in a typical water source environment. This shows that the ecological environment of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is excellent.
After crossing the arch bridge, you will come to the "bandit cave". In the past, there were three major bandits in China: the bandits in the east, the Tartars in Hebei, and the bandits in western Hunan. Among them, the bandits in Xiangxi are known for their bravery and strength. Currently, in the bandit cave, there are still the local stoves, cooking beds, trenches, and lookout posts of the bandits in the past, which inevitably reminds me of the TV dramas "Blood Red Xiangxi" and "Xiangxi Nest Bandits".
At the end of the boardwalk is the boat dock of the reservoir, and there is no way forward except by boat. The boat slowly moves forward on the emerald green lake, as if entering a landscape painting, making people linger and forget to return.
The ship travels on the water surface for about 20-30 minutes to reach the other shore, and the exit of the Grand Canyon is at the dock.
