Overall plan:
On the first day, I played at Tianmen Mountain for one day
On the second day, play in the National Forest Park for 2-3 days
On the third day, play at Huanglong Cave and the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge for one day
Approximately 4-5 days in total
Cost estimate: Approximately 10000 yuan in total
Estimated ticket fee: approximately 5000 yuan
Tianmen Mountain costs approximately 310 yuan per person * 5=1550 yuan; Forest Park 249 * 5=1245 yuan; Grand Canyon+Glass Bridge 219 * 5=1095 yuan Huanglong Cave 73 * 2+43 * 2=232 yuan. Further investigation will be conducted to determine the specific details. Elderly and children may have some free tickets or discounts.
Estimated accommodation fee: Approximately 1800 yuan in total
100 * 2 (first night)+(310+285) * 2 (second to third night)+200 * 2 (fourth night)
Meal cost estimate: estimated at 400 yuan per day, totaling approximately 2000 yuan
The following is the actual execution (basically consistent):
Overview: This incident involved 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 elderly individuals. Except for 20% full price tickets, both the elderly and children have discounted tickets.
On the first day, we visited Tianmen Mountain. From Changsha, it takes about 3 and a half hours by car to reach Tianmen Mountain.
Park the car, pick up the ticket, and then take the shuttle bus at the entrance (we are on Line B) to the cableway station. Just arrived at the foot of the mountain, we started eating some homemade cucumbers, while the children drank milk and took the cableway. The first time I sat there, it felt fresh and beautiful (because I was really tired of sitting later, haha). While taking the cableway, I enjoyed the unique "stone" mountain of Tianmen Mountain, which was very pleasant. At first, I sat inside the cableway and it was really super hot. Grandma was still laughing when Grandpa brought a fan, which was really wise. In just a few minutes, the cool breeze blew, and I asked if the air conditioning had been turned on. Everyone burst into laughter:)
After getting off the cableway and following the crowd, we arrived at the entrance of Tianmen Cave. At this moment, we started eating the dry food in our bags: cookies, milk, and fruits as lunch. Eating while marveling at the amazing craftsmanship of nature!
The entrance to the sky has 999 steps, and if you take the escalator, you will need to purchase an additional ticket. Of course, the elderly and children bought tickets, which is much farther than expected. The escalators have been changed one after another, about 4-5 sections. If you want to climb by yourself, it will take a lot of time and effort, and you should be prepared.
I went up the back and walked along the glass walkway twice (children like it, I'm afraid I can't look at it... stall holder), 5 yuan for each ticket (not for shoe covers, we were cheated when we heard others buy shoe covers outside. Here is the ticket fee)
When I came down, it was tough. I had to wait in a long queue, pick up my number first, and then wait. By the way, a key reminder: be sure to bring long clothes and pants when going up the mountain, it's too cold. The elderly can't take it anymore. We brought clothes, but forgot them in the car. I was really caught in a dilemma when queuing down the mountain: I asked more than N staff members and thought of many ways, but in the end, I took my mother-in-law to do exercises on the side and got hot, so I asked my husband to queue up. It takes about 2-3 hours to queue before it's time to go down the mountain.
After descending the mountain, sitting on the cableway for nearly 30 minutes, enjoying the night scenery, the fatigue did not diminish at all. As soon as I picked up the car, I immediately drove to the restaurant near the Forest Park Hotel. I think when you arrive, you must order one as the netizen suggested: three pots, and finally ordered small fish (definitely not, the fish are not fresh), as well as other dishes, which are really not good and can be said to be really not delicious. After checking into the hotel, I hurriedly washed up and slept because it was very late, almost 11 o'clock.
The next day, perhaps due to being too tired from the previous day, I closed the curtains and slept until 8am before waking up. I ate some dumplings, steamed stuffed buns, soybean milk and other snacks at the door, and prepared to leave for the second hotel in the Forest Park (located on the hillside, I'm a quiet person, and I'm looking forward to it... If I didn't have my family and my family, I wouldn't want to travel around. I would just stay in a mountain hotel and have my lungs cleaned for a few days. Wow, ha ha, am I a super satisfied person?)
By the way, the hotel reservation was too wrong. There are several entrances to the forest park. We booked the first night at the East Gate, but the second and third nights at the Banpo Hotel could only be accessed from the West Gate. I have the heart to cry. I drove for over an hour from Tianmen Mountain last night, and now I have to drive for another hour and a half to get to the hotel. I'm not in a good mood, but thinking about it, I can go to the Half Mountain Hotel that I've been looking forward to, and I'm full of anticipation.
It's almost 11 o'clock to arrive at the hotel. We bought local cucumbers for 10 yuan at the entrance. The hotel owner said they didn't book meals in advance and there's no food to eat. So, let's just have noodles, simpler. One person eats a large bowl of noodles. Start researching the itinerary for today and tomorrow. In the afternoon, we will go to Jinbian Creek and Huangshi Village; Tomorrow we will go to Tianzishan, Bailong Tianti, and come back from Yangjiajie.
There are many cableway tickets to buy yourself in the forest park, as well as the Hundred Dragon Sky Ladder. You can buy it now.
The highlight of the forest park is the wild monkeys in Jinbian Creek. During my trip, I was eating cucumbers and mocking nearby monkeys. Unexpectedly, a portion of my cucumber was taken away by the monkey (luckily my cucumber grew, otherwise would it have scratched my hand?). I was really scared. Play inside, don't eat, don't accidentally get scratched by monkeys.
Then we took the cable car N times. Hey, the kids love it so much, we don't want to take it anymore.
On the third day, Tianzishan, Bailong Tianti, Yangjiajie and others circled around in a big circle. This place is not very friendly to the elderly and adults, and I feel a bit tired after a day.
On the the fourth day, go to Huanglong Cave and stay at the gate: Longmen Inn. The store is quite distinctive. There are really many spider webs in the local area.
After seeing the Sea God Needle, I took a boat and brought a big bag of kudzu root pastry home at the exit. The scenery is still pretty good.
The old man didn't go in the afternoon, so we hurriedly drove to the Glass Bridge and the Grand Canyon. I caught the last bus and almost got off work without being allowed in. I didn't go in until almost 5 o'clock.
