The convenience of transportation allows me to visit Zhangjiajie and experience this well-known scenic spot in just three days. The impression Zhangjiajie left on me is the magnificent and majestic scenery of thousands of rocks and peaks. All the beautiful scenery must be seen with one's own eyes to count.

We finally departed from Jinjiang Airport and arrived at Changsha Airport to fly to Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport. As we had already boarded the shuttle bus, we were informed that the plane had a malfunction and had to wait.

Day3 Xibu Street - Quanzhou

There is no direct flight from Quanzhou to Zhangjiajie. We took a layover from Changsha, which is perfect for a weekend trip. Two and a half days back and forth are enough.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the first national forest park in China, collectively known as Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area. The scenic area is very large, including Yuanjiajie, Jinbianxi, Huangshizhai, Tianzi Mountain, Yangjiajie, and so on. It can't be played out in one day. Therefore, the ticket for Zhangjiajie Scenic Area is 228 yuan, valid for four days, and you can enter your fingerprint within four days.

The eco-friendly vehicles in the scenic area can be taken freely, but the cableway and Bailong ladder need to be purchased separately. If you want to play more places, it is recommended to spend money to take Bailong ladder or cableway, which can save energy.

In addition, tourism in Zhangjiajie also includes scattered attractions such as Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, and Huanglong Cave.

Speaking of Zhangjiajie, we enjoyed the scenery during the day and had many choices at night. It only takes five minutes to walk to Xibu Street from where we live, where we can go to the street to have some snacks and drinks. Of course, we can also watch director Feng Xiaogang's "Charming Xiangxi", which will give us a better understanding of what Xiangxi is all about.

Let's go take the world's tallest outdoor elevator and quickly reach the top of Zhangjiajie Mountain

We had scheduled to depart at 8:30 in the morning and head to the east gate of the scenic area. After purchasing tickets, we originally planned to take the scenic shuttle bus, but later we decided to take a car directly to the Bailong Heavenly Ladder.

The Bailong Sky Elevator still has some stories to tell. It is the tallest outdoor sightseeing elevator in the world, with a vertical height of 335 meters and a running speed of 5.25 meters per second. Zhangjiajie Bailong Sky Ladder has been included in the Guinness World Records for its fastest running speed, highest running height, and largest carrying capacity.

As the world's first elevator, the Bailong Sky Ladder can be said to be unique in the country. From its construction in 1999 to its trial operation in 2002, the Bailong Sky Ladder has never experienced a safety accident. During the construction process of Bailong Tianti, there were many difficulties. The craftsmen installed more than 4000 anchor rods on the rock wall and used certain techniques to firmly integrate the elevator with the mountain, making it as solid as a rock. Bailong Tianti also invested in world-class equipment for safety testing, so there is almost no need to worry about safety issues.

Compared to other scenic spots such as cable cars and scenic taxis, the Bai Long Sky Ladder is not affected by any weather and can operate year-round.

We bought round-trip tickets and were able to walk through the VIP channel without queuing, quickly getting on the elevator. In an instant, at a speed of 66 seconds, the gathering of divine soldiers (a formation of 48 independent mountain pillars forming a general formation) was presented in front of us. The scenery we saw during the movement was particularly magical.

There are cableways in every scenic spot, but only Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot in Zhangjiajie has such a fast outdoor sightseeing elevator. Coming out of the Bailong elevator, we arrived at Pandora's Yuan Family Realm. This can be considered as the most popular and accessible attraction in Zhangjiajie, and the Floating Mountain of Avatar is located here.

We quickly went from the foot of the mountain to the top and arrived at the core scenic area of Yuanjiajie. We entered a secret observation deck from a small path, where we could clearly see the operation process of the Hundred Dragon Sky Ladder and feel its speed. The 48 stone peaks in front of us were said to be divine weapons of the King, which was very spectacular.

We walked all the way and first arrived at the Enchanting Tower. The scenery that gave me the biggest feeling was' It's not worth my thousands of miles to come here '. I have always loved this kind of grand scene. The peaks and forests that stand alone in the sky and earth, like pillars, once again feel the awe inspiring craftsmanship of nature.

When we walk towards the direction of the world's first bridge, we will first pass through Mount Hallelujah. Hallelujah Mountain, also known as Qiankun Pillar, is the prototype of the suspended mountain in Avatar, and Zhangjiajie became even more famous because of Avatar. This 1074 meter high stone pillar, topped with lush greenery, miraculously rises from the ground and stands alone in this world.

If you encounter weather with clouds and mist, the scenery will definitely be enchanting, but the mountains in Zhangjiajie are so magical, with a variety of stone peaks that make people imagine.

Further ahead, you will arrive at the world's first bridge, which is the work of nature itself. A stone slab about 5 meters thick miraculously "spans" over two mountain peaks, forming a bridge that can connect the two peaks. This bridge is 350 meters high and is also the tallest stone bridge in Zhangjiajie.

Following the direction of taking the Jingjiao bus, we got on the bus to Bailong Tianti. I'm ready to go down the mountain now. At the foot of the mountain, the peak in the opposite direction of the morning light is now beautiful.

We also plan to go to Jinbian Creek. The total length of Jinbian Creek is 7.5 kilometers, and it takes about 2 hours to walk the entire distance. During the hot summer vacation, people unconsciously enter to play when they see the water. The water in Jinbian Creek is clear and there are many trees blocking the shade, making it very comfortable to play in the canyon.

Due to time constraints, we also arranged to watch the performance of "Charming Xiangxi" in the evening. We got on the train early and walked to the entrance of the scenic area. Everyone was really tired. When we saw a caf é called "Bird Nuo", we went in to have a cup of coffee to refresh ourselves. After walking on a mountain road for a whole day and drinking a cup of cappuccino, I feel like I'm going to heaven. Taking a break is the best way to recharge at this moment.

Before we went up the mountain, I was going with Xiao Kou where we were going. As a result, we only went to these places after a day's struggle. Moreover, it saved a lot of time to take the Hundred Dragon Ladder, which shows that Zhangjiajie is really too big. If you especially like the 3000 odd peaks, it is not too much to play in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot for four days.

That night when I arrived at Xibu Street, I was thinking that it would be particularly comfortable during the day, but the night was also very good. Although the lights and drinks were noisy, there was a different feeling. Although Zhangjiajie is very hot during the day, it becomes cool at night. It's very leisurely to take a walk and stroll around Xibu Street.

Xibu Street is a unique old street that integrates inns, bars, specialty snack streets, and boutique streets. It is mainly built in the style of Xiangxi and has ethnic minority characteristics, but also incorporates many new elements, which can retain tourists.

We found a small bar and sat by the roadside, enjoying the breeze, clinking glasses, and chatting. This feeling was incredibly satisfying.

Dou Xiaokou and I made an appointment to come and see Xibu Street the next morning as long as the weather is good. I woke up early and glanced out the window. There was a bit of fog on the mountain, and I thought to myself, 'Those who go up the mountain today must have had a great time. It must be like a fairyland. Unfortunately, we are only here for the weekend, and today's plane is going back.'.

Call out to Dou Xiaokou, wake up now. Unlike last night's lights and revelry, in the quiet world of Xibu Street in the early morning, you can only hear the sound of flowing water, the gentle sunshine on your face, without much wind, with a mirror like reflection. The local aunties are practicing Tai Chi, and the morning time is so beautiful.

The building built by the water is ancient and charming, gathering the five major ethnic customs of Tujia, Miao, Bai, Dong, and Yao at night. The bars have all quieted down this morning, and now there is enough soft sunshine.

As a 5A level national forest park, it is normal for Zhangjiajie to be crowded, but if you want to find a peaceful Zhangjiajie, then it is in the early morning on Xibu Street.

Since we wanted to come to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot when we came, we chose to live in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot District. It takes 8 minutes to walk from the Charming Xiangxi Theater, 10 minutes to take a taxi to the gate of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area, and 10 minutes to walk to Xibu Street.

The inn we chose to stay in has a small swimming pool on the second floor, and we really like the sky garden on the top floor. After returning from Xibu Street, we brought two bottles of wine and chatted on the rooftop, enjoying the breeze. This is the most beautiful moment of our journey.

It is said that every day in Quanzhou, I have recruited many volunteers from Hunan, and I can often eat Hunan cuisine in the shop, but I am always complained that the chili peppers in Quanzhou are not hot enough. Now that I'm in Hunan cuisine, of course I have to choose a Changsha cuisine to eat.

There is a very unique dish here, which is loach with tofu. Pour fresh loaches into tender white tofu, stew in oil, and the loaches will make many small holes in the tofu, making it very delicious to eat.
