1: Zhangjiajie
Life is a journey full of unknowns. What matters is the scenery along the way, and what matters is the mood of seeing the scenery. Travel will not end because of beautiful scenery. The path we have walked becomes the scenery behind us, we cannot turn back or stay. If we stop at this moment, we will miss a better scenery. Keep a sense of peace and clarity. Enjoy every moment and appreciate every scenery, this is life.
Someone once said, "Loving travel is an attitude towards life, at least having the courage to abandon worldly desires and pursue tranquility." I don't know if I have the courage to abandon everything and embark on a spontaneous journey, but I know this journey is not far away.
Zhangjiajie's mountains are known as the "Wonders of the World". Over 360 square kilometers of land, more than 3100 stone peaks stand tall, with various shapes and changes, showcasing the beauty and magnificence of nature to the fullest. The milk flowing from the peaks and mountains of Zhangjiajie's water elephant forest is pure sweet dew, flowing endlessly. Huanglong Cave in Zhangjiajie is a magical and wonderful underground maze, with various and exquisite stalagmites and stone pillars forming an unparalleled underground cave. And Phoenix, let alone... The fame of the three major romantic destinations in China (Lijiang, Phoenix, Yangshuo) rose to fame because of Shen Congwen's "Border Town".
Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang are well-known places that every travel enthusiast must visit. The beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie is composed of mountains, water, caves, and lakes, showcasing the beauty and grandeur of nature with their grandeur, wonder, and beauty.
Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot is 32 kilometers away from the urban area of Zhangjiajie. The rare quartz sandstone peak forest spectacle in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot was discovered in the late 1970s. In 1982, the country named the forest farm in this area as the first national forest park in China (somewhat similar to Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area). It is said that during the reign of Emperor Gaozu of Han, Marquis Zhang Liang was intimidated by the historical lesson of "when all the birds fly, good archery hides". He followed the example of Fan Li, the ruler of Yue during the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period, and retired and lived in seclusion in the rivers and lakes. He came to Dayong and left behind descendants of the Zhang family, hence the name Zhangjiajie.
It is reported that in the late autumn of 1979, Mr. Wu Guanzhong went to Xiangxi for sketching and walked into the predecessor of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie Forest Farm, which had not yet been developed at that time. Shocked by the magical and beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers in front of him, the gentleman created a huge painting called "Home Axe Splitting - Zhangjiajie in Western Hunan", and then took the opportunity to write an essay called "Growing up in the boudoir, unrecognized - Zhangjiajie is a scenic pearl", which was published in the Hunan Daily on New Year's Day in 1980. Mr. Wu wrote with deep affection in his article, 'In order to explore the beauty of painting, I have worked hard to climb many famous mountains, and I feel that Yandang, Wuyi, Qingcheng, Shilin... cannot compare to this unnamed Zhangjiajie.'. The beauty here may not compare to Guilin, but the peaks are more mysterious, concentrated, straight, and wild! This is the true Peach Blossom Spring of Hunan! Afterwards, the gentleman became acquainted with the local scenery and people, and spared no effort in promoting Zhangjiajie. It was through the recommendation of Mr. and others that Zhangjiajie, a lost scenic gem, was able to emerge from its seclusion and become well-known to the world. This led to the establishment of the first national forest park, the rapid development of tourism in Zhangjiajie, and the city's establishment as a tourist destination. So Mr. Wu Guanzhong, who is famous in Zhangjiajie, deserves credit.
After entering the village, there were not many stone steps left before the road up the mountain. The road up the mountain was indeed difficult to walk, not only steep, but also treacherous. There were three levels on the road, called "One Step Hard", "Who dares not bow down", and "Shrink into the valley", each of which required careful attention.
The total area of the bottom of Huanglong Cave that has been discovered is 100000 square meters, with a total length of 7.5 kilometers and a vertical height of 140 meters. It is divided into two layers of dry caves and two layers of water caves. The cave has 1 reservoir, 2 rivers, 3 ponds, 4 waterfalls, 13 halls, and 98 corridors. There are six major scenic spots in the cave, including the maze, Xiangshui River, Tianxian Water, Tianzhu Street, and Dragon Palace. The entire cave is like an ancient tree with twisted roots, radiating out. There are caves in the cave and buildings above, and various cave wonders are dazzling and beautiful. Its scale, abundance of stalactites, and peculiar shape are extremely rare in domestic and foreign karst caves, and it is praised by karst experts at home and abroad as the all-around champion of world karst caves.
Huanglong Cave is located to the east of Suoxiyu and is known as the "Underground Magic Palace". The entrance of the cave is shrouded in mist, with winding corridors, suspended stalactites, towering stone pillars and stalagmites, as well as stone curtains, curtains, flowers, and pianos, all of which are dazzling and dazzling. 'Outside the cave', 'outside the building', 'outside the sky', 'outside the mountain' are intertwined. Huanglong Cave can be divided into four levels, with water and land entering simultaneously. From the lowest Yin River to the highest dome, the vertical height difference is more than 100 meters. There is a reservoir (Huanglong Water Cave), two Yin rivers (Xiangshui River, Crystal River), three underground waterfalls (Huanglong Waterfall, Tianshui Waterfall, Tiandi Waterfall), four water pools, thirteen halls (palaces) (Dragon Dance Palace, Crystal Palace, Enchanting Palace...), and 96 corridors inside the cave. The length is about 15 kilometers, and the largest hall is 12000 square meters, which can accommodate 10000 people. It can be said that the universe is vast in the cave, and there is a cave underground. Entering Huanglong Cave is like entering a fairyland on earth
Tianmen Mountain, towering and majestic, is known as the natural canvas of Zhangjiajie due to its steep terrain and magnificent scenery. The uplift of Tianmen Mountain began with the Yanshan Movement and then passed through the Himalayan orogeny, causing the mountain to rise more than a kilometer. The surrounding area is deeply cut by fault joints, and the long-term erosion of karst by wind and rain has created a towering and towering karst terrace landform. The mountain top is relatively flat, preserving intact primary secondary forests, with many extremely precious and unique plant species, and a forest coverage rate of 90%. Among them, ancient trees are towering, vines are entwined, moss is everywhere, stalagmites and buds are everywhere, like natural bonsai. It is hailed as the most beautiful sky garden and heavenly paradise in the world

Being a tour guide was really hard, and he worked hard for us all the way. Thank you very much to Chen Qiao. If you choose a good tour guide during the trip, it will bring you joy, care, warmth, and peace of mind, which cannot be enjoyed by traveling alone.
