Time is not a matter of in-depth travel, but based on my own travel experience, I think I can summarize several options. I live at the east gate of the scenic spot, which is the Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot landmark gate. I think this gate is the most convenient, with many inns, good accommodation conditions, and convenient food and shopping.
One day tour: (This plan is only available for those who are physically strong and have tight schedules. Ensure that there is no pressure to hike 30 kilometers a day. Be prepared for a full day of hiking, otherwise skip) Tour route: Jinbian Creek → Yuanjiajie → Yangjiajie → Tianzishan → Shili Gallery. (It's also possible to travel in reverse, but I'm going up from Jinbian Creek) Attention! This route doesn't have Huangshi Village! Enter the door and take an eco-friendly car to Jinbian Creek (get off at Shuiluo Simen Station). Walk half a distance (about 3.5 kilometers) and meet up at Qianli to reach Yuanjiajie. Take a roundabout to see Avatar and the world's first bridge. 🌶️ Attention: There is no restroom at the Qianli Meeting Point. Either there is a restroom located just a few hundred meters away from Qianli Meeting Point, or there is a restroom located halfway up the mountain. Therefore, please solve your personal problem at the entrance of Jinbian Creek. Yuanjiajie Tour is a circular road. After walking, take a bus to Yangjiajie Cableway Station to visit the natural Great Wall and climb to the sky in one step. The natural Great Wall and the one-step ascent to the sky are opposite directions. Go to the natural Great Wall first, as it is very close and takes about ten minutes to travel back and forth. Then going to climb to the sky in one step will be a bit farther. It requires climbing a straight up and down iron ladder, and the scenery is pretty good. It's up to you to choose. I think other attractions can be omitted.
🌶️ Attention: There is a shortcut to reaching the sky in one step, which is a pure mountain road. If it doesn't rain, it will be much closer. Don't enter if it rains, it will be muddy all the way. After completing the one step ascent to the sky, you need to return to the original route and take an eco-friendly car to Tianzishan (Helong Park). The core scenic area of Tianzishan is not large, with attractions such as Helong Park, Xihai Peak Forest, Fairy Scattered Flowers, and Imperial Brush Peak. It won't take long to tour around.
My route: He Long Bronze Statue → Tianzi Observation Deck → Xihai Peak Forest → He Long Tomb → Fairy Scattered Flowers → Imperial Brush Peak → Tianzi Pavilion. After visiting Tianzi Mountain, you can choose to hike down to Shili Gallery, which is right next to Tianzi Pavilion. Along the way, you can walk through Shili Gallery.
🏻 Tell me about the time: Zhangjiajie's mountains are not high, and the pure climbing section is from the meeting of thousands of miles to Yuanjiajie. It takes me one hour. When I get to the top, there is a viewing platform. It is only more than 100 meters lower than the top, and the photography effect is almost the same. The key is that no one is there. The top is crowded into a pot of porridge, and I can't even see a person here. But Avatar and the world's first bridge still need to be filmed from the top. Half of the way up the mountain, the steps are super slippery and covered in moss. To quote from a Tang poem: "Moss marks green on the upper steps. The steps here are the best portrayal, so it is recommended to bring a hiking stick. The half journey to Jinbian Creek also takes one hour, because taking photos and playing in the water, the scenery is very beautiful. Let's determine the time of the circle around the world's first bridge based on the flow of people, after all, people are crowded together and it's difficult to walk fast. Yang Jiajie has set aside 1.5-2 hours and needs to turn back. The tour time of Tianzishan is 1-1.5 hours. I think taking an eco-friendly car is the most time-consuming, as the peak season can be longer than your playtime, and you can't even see the line. After my tour of Tianzishan, I took the cable car down the mountain in a hurry (I needed to take an eco-friendly car to the cable car) because the innkeeper told me that the ten mile gallery was very long, a full ten miles. The next day, I personally walked through it and found out that it was only a ten mile journey back and forth. [Laughing and crying] I was also delayed halfway because of my mother's problem, afraid that I wouldn't have a car to rush down the mountain. When I took the cable car down Tianzishan, it was 4:10 pm, and I didn't know how long I had been waiting for the eco-friendly car convoy. It was almost six o'clock when I left. Judging from the posture of the bus and tour group, they should have been running very late, so I regret not getting off because I don't have to go back and take the eco-friendly bus to the cableway station, just go directly to Tianzi Pavilion. So it is recommended to walk purely on foot for convenience and time-saving!!! I suggest going up from the Jinbian River in the morning because the scenery of Shili Gallery is really not as beautiful as Jinbian River. I think Jinbian River is the most beautiful scenery in Zhangjiajie. Two day tour: Depending on the situation, you can choose to add some paid transportation to have a more comprehensive experience.
Day 1: Ten Mile Gallery → Tianzishan → Yangjiajie → Yuanjiajie → Bailong Ladder down the mountain, take an eco-friendly car back. At the end of the Ten Mile Gallery, there is Monkey Garden, a gathering place for monkeys. Next to it is the up trail of Tianzi Mountain. The Ten Mile Gallery is really not ten miles long. Believe me, it's less than three kilometers one way. After visiting Tianzishan, take an eco-friendly bus to Yangjiajie, then take a bus to Yuanjiajie to see the first bridge, and finally take the eco-friendly bus to Bailong Tianti Station, take the elevator down, and then take the eco-friendly bus to Dongmen.
The next day: The entire journey of Jinbian Creek (about 7.5 kilometers), back and forth to Huangshizhai. 🌶️ Note: Huangshi Stronghold can go up from Jinbian Creek. Those who don't want to go back too much, take the cableway down from Huangshi Stronghold, go out of the South Gate, and take a bus (toll) to your door, such as the East Gate and Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Sign Gate
Three day tour: I think two days in Zhangjiajie is enough. Either add single fee attractions such as Huanglong Cave to the three-day tour, or split the two-day itinerary. The itinerary for a two-day trip is bound to be physically weak, so I suggest that Yang Jiajie can skip it because there are many mountain roads and the scenery is really average. Let's talk about my own trap route again~It's really "a journey full of pitfalls, regrets everywhere that drive me crazy" [Laughing] [Laughing] [Laughing] [Laughing]
Accommodation: This is my first time to Zhangjiajie, and I have booked the Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot [Listen to Ya'anju Special Hotel]. It is a very good hotel. It is close to the scenic spot, has a good environment, and the price is relatively affordable. I can live at more than 100 points. The boss helps us book preferential tickets for free, which is more affordable than our own expectations. It is good to give us free maps, elevators, and carry luggage. It is a very good hotel on the whole. It is very close to the scenic spot, and there is a bus directly to the scenic spot. This is very good

On the first day at noon when I arrived in Zhangjiajie, I went to Tianmen Mountain first. Half a day at Tianmen Mountain was enough.
The core area of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot is ready to play for two whole days. Because my mother's legs are not good, the innkeeper introduced a plan for me to walk on my own and for my mother to walk less.
On the first day, I hiked up from Jinbian Creek to Yuanjiajie, and my mother climbed up the Bailong Heavenly Ladder to Yuanjiajie. Then we went to Yangjiajie and Tianzishan together, and accompanied my mother back down the Tianzishan Cableway.
The next day: Ten Mile Gallery+Golden Whip Creek, Huangshi Village to see the situation. The ideal is full, however
On the first day, my mother and I took a bus to the scenic area. I got off at Shuiluo Simen and my mother got off at Bailong Elevator. On the same bus, I got off first and my mother got off at the second stop. I walked half a journey from Jinbianxi to Qianli to meet, then went up to Yuanjiajie. My mother took the Bailong elevator directly to Yuanjiajie. The previous part went according to plan, but I still underestimated my mother's unreasonable way of playing cards. She didn't have the ability to turn things around at first sight [laughs and cries]. On my way up to the Yuan family realm, my mother's phone started a series of deadly calls, asking every five minutes where you were? How much longer? Let me be speechless... When I reached the top, my mom was extremely impatient and told me she was at the hundred yuan bill. She asked me to go find her quickly. What is the hundred yuan bill? I went to the information desk, but there was no one... Then I asked a passerby and found out that the first bridge in the world is just a circle around the mountain, which is not far. Well, then I can always see my old Buddha by walking directly on the ring road. I had only walked less than half a circle when I crossed the Lianxin Bridge. From a distance, I saw my old Buddha sitting under a tree playing with his phone. I went over and asked her, 'Have you seen the first bridge?'? The old Buddha was instantly angry and said, "What's there to see in this rundown place? It made me walk so far, and my legs hurt." I... But I haven't seen the first bridge yet, and it's only half a lap... "What are you looking at? I'm going back." I... okay, can you still call it a perfect trip without leaving any regrets? (What kind of theory!) Give the hiking stick to the old Buddha and take her to take a ride. We can either go to the direction of Bailong Tianti or the direction of Yangjiajie. I'm considering going to two more hills, and there's also a cable car in Yangjiajie, so I'll take the old Buddha to the direction of Yangjiajie. This was an important mistake that directly led to me almost being scolded by the old Buddha's phone call and dying on the spot in the Yang family world! The Yangjiajie cableway can only exit from the south gate! And I didn't know about this situation at the time. When I went to inquire, there was no one at the information desk. I asked the boss who sells things, and she said that both the Bailong Heavenly Ladder and the Yang Family Realm can descend and go to the East Gate, but she didn't tell me that the exits are different! The only way out of the Yang family's realm is through the South Gate! You can only go out of the south gate! Take the bus at your own expense! To Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Passenger Station!! Old Buddha took a taxi back to the east gate, over sixty, so please don't take the wrong door! The West Sea Peak Forest of Tianzishan has a beautiful scenery. On the way, I ate two peanut cakes, a cucumber, and 1.5 liters of water. I was so hungry that my legs were weak when I went out. When I saw KFC at the door, I stuffed a luxurious beef burger set meal into my stomach, which was satisfying! By the way, there is KFC at the entrance of Jinbian Creek. There is KFC at the transfer station from Yuanjiajie to Yangjiajie. There is a McDonald's in the direction of Yubi Peak from Helong Park. Snacks are everywhere, and there are also several buffet restaurants, but apart from cucumbers, they don't seem very appetizing. I missed the first two KFC, and there were too many people at the McDonald's on Tianzishan, so I kept starving until I came down the mountain
delicious food:
In the evening, I took my mother to a very popular Hunan restaurant to have a meal of Hunan cuisine. It was very good, the taste was really good, the service was very warm, and my mother liked it so much that before we left Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, we also came here to have a meal. The main reason is that this restaurant is still near the Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot bus station, which is more suitable for my mother! To be honest, this is truly the best and most cost-effective specialty food restaurant I have had in Zhangjiajie. I highly recommend it
The next day: I woke up early in the morning and it was raining. It was drizzling until after 9 o'clock, so I set off for the scenic area. My mom wanted to have breakfast, and after finishing it, I walked in after 10 o'clock. The first stop was the Ten Mile Gallery, and my mom took a small train back and forth. However, according to my mom, I was not much slower than the small train on my legs, and there was a time difference of a few minutes. At the end of the Ten Mile Gallery is the Monkey Garden and the hiking trail to Mount Tianzi. My mother and I returned the same way and took an eco-friendly car to Jinbian Creek. At noon, when I arrived at Jinbianxi, I found that the road was closed. I said there were collapsed areas in the mountain and no entry was allowed. Why is my travel itinerary always so bumpy? I asked how to get to Huangshi Village and answered that I should go up the mountain from the east gate to the south gate. My mother asked to go back to the inn and not play anymore! I still want to play, but it was rejected! Mom has too much resentment towards Nanmen! Sitting in the inn until after 4 pm, it cleared up and I sighed in front of the big sun. My mom said, 'Tomorrow morning I'll give you three hours to go play around Jinbian Creek and Huangshi Village.' I [hehe] said, '... when I finish practicing my lightness skills, I'll definitely try your advice...'
