We drove from Changsha by ourselves, and the general route is Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, the core scenic spot of Changsha Zhangjiajie. Happily, Changsha self driving does not need to go to Zhangjiajie urban area, and the Yanghe exit can directly go to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot. It was more than nine o'clock at night when we arrived at the station, and the humid air suddenly made us feel refreshed. We hurried to the Ya'anju characteristic hotel we had booked in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot city with our friends and luggage. The hotel environment was good, the room was still much larger than I expected, the equipment inside was super new, and the elevator. The hotel can also help us book tickets for Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot. The owner helped us book 208 tickets for free. If we order 248, it may be the reason that the boss is a local person. It is effective for four days, there are free sightseeing buses, the hotel also has free parking places, which is amazing. Such a hotel is warm!

I woke up at six in the morning, had a bowl of rice, and arrived at the scenic area after eight o'clock. I originally planned to take a nap while riding in the car, but I felt like I was about to step into the scene in the text, so excited that I couldn't fall asleep no matter what. Just entering the scenic area, people are instantly full of energy. Under the misty sky, there is an endless expanse of emerald green, and smoke lingers between the peaks, which is extremely beautiful! At this time, there are not many tourists, which is why we chose to come here in mid April.

Jinbian Creek

The first place we went was Jinbian Creek, which belongs to the Golden Tourist Area of Zhangjiajie. The stream has a long and winding flow, flowing quietly down like that. The path of the creek is very narrow, surrounded by young grass that has just grown up. The stones under the stream have been washed away from their edges. Standing on the grassland, listening to the chirping of birds, it feels so comfortable. We walked along the Golden Whip Creek for nearly half an hour, stopping and starting. Although we didn't reach the end, we were satisfied with being able to walk quietly all the way.

Hundred Dragon Ladder, Yuan Family Realm

Compared to the gentle and elegant Jinbian Creek, these two places are much more unrestrained and free spirited, with strange mountains and rocks, broken walls and secluded valleys, a kind of reverence for nature arises naturally. The first thing I see is the famous Hundred Dragon Sky Ladder, which climbs up the cliff like a silver dragon, with a magnificent momentum and exquisite design, blending seamlessly with nature. Many tourists on the central platform couldn't help but exclaim in shock when facing the towering dragons. Then there was a frenzy of group photos, and such a magnificent artificial scenic spot felt no less beautiful than other natural landscapes.

We bought round-trip tickets for the Bailong Sky Elevator, so you don't have to queue up and can quickly enter the elevator car, preparing for an exciting journey. According to the etiquette in the elevator, the Bailong Sky Elevator has a vertical height difference of 335 meters and a running height of 326 meters. Currently, it is the highest fully exposed outdoor sightseeing elevator in the world. In the elevator, you can see the "Divine Weapon Gathering", one of the top ten scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, shrouded in clouds and mist, showcasing its grandeur.

Quickly, the ladder successfully took us to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, and we really need to thank it for saving us a lot of energy. Getting off the eco-friendly car, a huge mist came into view. The term 'fog city' is most appropriate to describe the Yuan family's world that day, as the world a few meters away was blurred. The diffuse sea of clouds is a climate characteristic of Zhangjiajie. Whenever you come, Zhangjiajie is like a fairyland, with a misty sea of clouds. Yuanjiajie is the core of Zhangjiajie World Natural Heritage. It is surrounded by steep cliffs and stands in the mountains of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot. The scenic spot is too beautiful, just take the picture above.

In the evening, I had a nice dinner next to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Bus Station. This restaurant is one of the more distinctive food restaurants in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, Zhangjiajie. The food is really good. It tastes good, has enough weight, is affordable, and has a high cost performance ratio. There is also free parking here. It's really comfortable. The boss is very nice, talkative, and has a good chat with us. It's rare to see such a humorous and handsome boss. Ha ha, recommend the boss's stone pot fish. It's really delicious. I didn't expect that the fish can be done like this, and it's so delicious!

Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

Maybe I was a little excited yesterday. I got up later this morning than yesterday, but it was only nine o'clock when I arrived at the scenic spot. I turned to two scenic spots this morning, the Grand Canyon and Tianmen Mountain. In fact, I went to these two places to see the glass bridge and glass walkway, but it was so disappointing.

I first went to the Grand Canyon, but I have to say it was a wrong decision. Because it rained that day, the shoe covers provided by the scenic spot were dirty and wet! Moreover, the service staff's attitude was not very friendly. It felt like a period had arrived and they stuffed shoe covers into our hands, dirtying both our hands and clothes!! Take a closer look at that shoe cover, be good, it's still wearing fur and a straw stick!!! In an instant, ten thousand grass and mud horses ran by in my heart... I don't want to put this thing on my little white shoes.

Also, it's really not exciting... To be honest, I'm a bit afraid of heights, but I also enjoy excitement. So when I was preparing to come, I had high expectations. There was no feeling of fear at all! Because all I see are people, crowded and chaotic, like strolling through a vegetable market.

Then we went to the glass walkway of Tianmen Mountain. We thought we would sweep away the bad mood before, but the result was also disappointing.

The road is several tens of meters long, and it takes almost an hour to get in line. Just queue up, but the management on site is a mess, with many people cutting in line and making a lot of noise.

Then you also need to buy tickets separately and change shoe covers. The narrow road is crowded with people. Looking down, it's all the feet of the tourists nearby... I don't complain about it if there are too many people. What's important is that the glass really needs to be replaced!! The glass has been scratched by tourists, which not only affects the visual experience but also poses a safety hazard. I hope the scenic spots can attach great importance to this!

In summary, I just want to say that Zhangjiajie is very beautiful! Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area is the best! Must experience the Hundred Dragon Sky Ladder!
