Zhangjiajie is the location of a strange and steep mountain range. It is located in the northwest of Hunan, in the middle and upper reaches of the Lishui River, and belongs to the hinterland of the Wuling Mountains. In September 1982, Zhangjiajie became China's first national forest park. In 1992, Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Natural Scenic Spot, which is composed of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxiyu Scenic Spot and Tianzishan Scenic Spot, was listed in the World Natural Heritage List by UNESCO. Interestingly, the original name of Zhangjiajie City was Dayong County, which is under the jurisdiction of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Dayong Road in the city center came from this. In May 1988, with the approval of the State Council, Dayong County was upgraded to a prefecture level city. But due to its limited fame, in 1994, during the nationwide renaming trend, Dayong City also kept up with the times and changed its name to the scenic area "Zhangjiajie". There are pros and cons to changing the name, as it has caused too many tourists to ask 'how to get to Zhangjiajie' within the city, leaving many locals confused. In fact, the correct way to ask is "how to get to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot" or "how to get to Zhangjiajie Forest Park".

However, Dayong County was originally a well-known name. This place used to be the Southern Barbarians. During the reign of Yao and Shun, "Shun sent Huan Dou to Chongshan to transform into the Southern Barbarians," which gave rise to the term "Southern Barbarians" in history. During the Spring and Autumn Period, this place was known as the Yong State, which once conquered the Shang Dynasty with King Wu of Zhou. It was a relatively large country among the three states of Ba, Qin, and Chu. It was destroyed by the state of Chu in 611 BC. In 221 BC, Emperor Qin Shi Huang established prefectures and counties, and the area around Dayong belonged to Cigu County in Qianzhong County. The county seat was located in Guantaping, Cili County (now Taiping Village, Jiangjiaping Township). In the sixth year of Yong'an reign of Emperor Jing of Wu of the Three Kingdoms (264 AD), Songliang County was called "Tianmen Mountain" and Tianmen Commandery was established. During the Two Jin Dynasties and the Southern and Northern Dynasties, it was subordinate to Nanzhong and Linli counties in Tianmen Commandery. In the second year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1369), Dayong County was established, with the words "great university" and "moderate means" chosen, due to the barbaric nature of the area and the desire to cultivate oneself. Yongding County was established in the 13th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1735). From 1949 to 1988, Cili County was under the jurisdiction of Changde. By the end of 1988, Dayong and Sangzhi counties were under the jurisdiction of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Therefore, Zhangjiajie City should be renamed as Dayong, which is the true essence and clear source.

The urban area of Zhangjiajie itself is not worth visiting - the scenery of Zhangjiajie is divided into two parts: Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area (10 kilometers north of the city), including Huangshi Village, Yangjiajie, Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Suoxiyu Scenic Area; And Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area (about five kilometers south of the city). It would be a great blessing if we could go all the way, but the time is always limited. It is great to go half way in two days, so it is very important to make a good plan to take its essence. Therefore, we plan to walk through the main essence scenic spots of Yangjiajie, Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot in one and a half days, and then walk through the Tianmen Mountain scenic spot in half a day. Unfortunately, plans are always full and reality is always fragile. After the first day's excitement, there will be endless depression the next day

The weather is good, and public transportation is environmentally friendly.

At 22:59, land at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport. This is a small airport. Outside the airport, the chaotic crowd of tourists means a crowded holiday. Because it was too late, I wanted to take a taxi to a hotel in the city. However, the airport taxi driver, who was originally priced at 20 yuan, spoke loudly. First, he pretended not to know the way, and then said that he would directly charge 80 yuan in the suburbs. This shamelessly made me angry and I turned around and left. Fortunately, there is a free airport shuttle bus outside the airport that can travel from the airport to the hotel, which is located on the north bank of Guanyin Bridge on the Lishui River in the city. Taking a taxi to Zhangjiajie Hotel is only a little over ten yuan, but even so, some drivers pretend to be confused and don't recognize the way. It wasn't until I showed my signboard and said I know the way, why did you come here to be a driver? Only then did a taxi driver who was good at singing white face come to pick us up. The harsh and tough local customs are evident.

Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area

On the first day of the trip. Go to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area in the north of Zhangjiajie as planned, and plan to walk through Yangjiajie and Yuanjiajie. The itinerary for the day is very tight, so there is inevitably some anxiety before departure. The morning in Zhangjiajie is peaceful and tranquil. But perhaps due to the National Day holiday, there were firecrackers early in the morning, which made me feel like I was living next door to the barracks in my sleep. The weather is sunny, it couldn't be better, it's a very good start! 6: 30, eating breakfast crowded in the downstairs restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet, and what's unique is that the walls are covered with calligraphy pieces gifted by Koreans, all of which are Tang poems. The buffet also includes local specialties, where a chef specializes in scooping rice noodles from several buckets.

After finishing a good breakfast, I walked out of the hotel and stood on the noon road to take a taxi. The air in Zhangjiajie City in the early morning is fresh and pollution-free, with various vehicles traveling on the main roads, but not as bustling as the eastern cities. A taxi stopped and we got on to take a taxi to Central Station. Because today's task is really urgent and I am not very clear about the situation on the mountain, I have to rush slowly. The bus arrived at the Central Station, groped to the parking lot full of buses, and got on a bus marked "Zhangjiajie - Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot". After all, there are few people going to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, and most of them go to the forest park bus. This is foolish, wasting a lot of time on the 90 minute hike from the Forest Park ticket station to the Water Loop Four Gates, which is tens of kilometers away. The train departed shortly after boarding. When we passed the intersection of Ziwu Road and Dayong Road, we realized that the departure from Zhangjiajie Central Station actually passes outside our hotel. Therefore, recalling the advice given by the taxi driver when getting off the bus the night before, in fact, you can walk to the intersection in the morning and take a car directly without taking a taxi to the central station. The bus company arrived at Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Bus Station in more than 40 minutes. There aren't many people in the morning. Because I was afraid of not having enough time, I wasted 15 yuan to take a taxi from the bus station to the ticket station. In fact, the journey was only a short one stop. There is a magnificent modern tower at the entrance of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Ticket Station, which is antique.

The car passes through the water and winds around the four doors. There is a tomb of Zhang Liang in this area, according to the "Xianshi Zhi": "Zhang Liang is said to have traveled from Chisongzi. There is a tomb on Qingyan Mountain, which appears and disappears at times." Qingyan Mountain was the Yuanjiajie and Huangshi Village of Zhangjiajie Forest Park at that time. The Tomb Annals "records:" The tomb of Han Liu Hou Zhang Liang is located on Qingyan Mountain. After obtaining the official letter from Huangshi, Liang traveled from Chisongzi. There are many relics in Tianmen and Qingyan mountains in the city. "This is doubtful because Zhang Liang was from Bozhou, Anhui and fought with Liu Bang to conquer the world. He was granted the title of Marquis Pei County, while Wang Guanzhong was unlikely to spend his later years in Xiaoxiang, Chu. It's probably just a beautiful legend in Zhangjiajie. The reason why "Zhangjiajie" replaced the name "Qingyan Mountain" is simply not because Zhang Liang lived here in seclusion, but rather because the Zhang family members boasted about it themselves! The water surrounds the four gates, and the mountains surround the Golden Whip Creek. Getting off the car, you can see that what you said is true. The mountains and rocks are steep, like a pen piercing the sky, and you are called "General Line up". The streams below are misty, creating a beautiful scenery of Xiangxi! At sunrise, the golden light shone brightly, and the mountains and rocks sparkled. Although I had a flagship mirrorless watch in my hand, I couldn't capture its brilliance. I had no choice but to exclaim in admiration!

The elevator reaches the top, which is a corner of the Yuan family boundary. The scenery here is very beautiful, but I didn't have much time to see it and hurried away, heading straight to the theme of the Yang family.

Yang Jiajie

Yangjiajie is the essence of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, which is located in the west of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot and adjacent to Mount Tianzi in the north. It is a newly developed magical scenic spot. More than twenty years ago, Yangjiajie was still known by locals, but now it is open to everyone. Traveling through the Yangjiajie requires passing directly through the Yuanjiajie, which is the farthest among all scenic spots. But the so-called infinite scenery on dangerous peaks is just that. Moreover, there are too many tourists on National Day, and it is estimated that most of them are still stuck on the road. Soon, they will all gather at the two major scenic spots of Yuanjiajie and Tianzishan. However, the journey to Yangjiajie is dangerous and there are no cars passing through. Generally, tour guides are not willing to take guests to Yangjiajie. Therefore, it is rare to go straight to Yangjiajie. It is wise to take this time difference. It has been proven that this is today's biggest gain, as the beautiful scenery is rarely visited by tourists, as if it were presented to us alone.

Due to the car not stopping at Yangjiajie, it is necessary to inform the driver in advance and get off at the Wulongzhai intersection. After getting off the car, I was immediately confused. There is a small stone path leading to Wulong Village, hidden among many vendors and shops on the left side of the exit. The vendors are all locals, and their inquiries for directions are vague and their attitude is extremely bad. If you don't want to talk too much, just go up the mountain. The mountain road is winding, but through the forest, one can already see strange peaks and rocks. There is a "golden rooster announcing the dawn", where giant stones stand tall in the sky, as if the golden rooster were standing alone.

Passing the golden rooster, there is a tavern with a fork in the road ahead. I don't know what's going on, but after studying it for a while, I found out. To the left is to reach places like One Step to Heaven, and to the right is to go to Wulong Village.

Wulong Village, located at an altitude of 1122 meters, is named after the bandit stronghold, which was occupied by bandits during the late Qing Dynasty's Free Democratic Republic. There are 27 stone steps at the entrance of the village, and there are remnants such as isolated village ladders and bandit caves on the village. Immediately in my mind, I thought of 'The Anti Banditry Chronicles of Wulong Mountain'. But this Wulong Village is not the same Wulong Village. The Wulong Village in the TV drama is located on the Wulong Mountain in the northeast of Fenghuang County, so it has nothing to do with it. The terrain is treacherous, with steep cliffs on the left and overhanging cliffs on the right. It is indeed easy to defend but difficult to attack, with one man holding the pass and ten thousand men unable to open it. There is Carmen, the first checkpoint guarding the fortress. In the era of cold weapons, as long as a few people hold hands, a thousand people will feel sad.

There is another line of sky, passing through the cracks between the huge stones on both sides. Those who are overweight are at risk of getting stuck in it and unable to move. They are struggling to find the way to attack and defend easily!

A hundred stone steps ahead, Wulong Village stands in front of us. Tourists like me are panting heavily and taking a nap here. The village is not big, and there are bandit seats available for photography as a paid item. There are also corpse houses, Tujia Xitang, and daily necessities halls for visitors to visit. There is a very interesting cannon here. There are also vendors selling various local products on the mountain, such as bandit cigarettes, kudzu root, etc., at affordable prices. This place is only a few hundred steps away from Tianbo Mansion, so we won't make a stop.

At 10:30, the magnificent 'Tianbo Mansion' appeared before my eyes. Tianbo Mansion is a cliff that rises from the sky, like a broken wall or fortress, surrounded by mountains and deep canyons. It cannot help but marvel at the vicissitudes of life. Named after She Taijun's "Tianbo Mansion", it is said that a general of the Yang family once lived here. However, this is a false rumor, and it is speculated that it was also fabricated by local Yang clan members. To reach Tianbo Mansion, one must go downhill, cross a suspended iron cable bridge, and then climb an iron ladder for rock climbing. Although there are iron bars to guard, it is not easy.

It's not easy to climb the mountain with a backpack on your back.

There is another road down the mountain from Tianbo Prefecture, which is on the left and right of the previous mountain road, forming an O-shape. This road is also dangerous, winding along the mountains and rocks, but the scenery is equally beautiful.

Although as thin as a woman, it is difficult to pass through, and the danger is like this.

When you come to the restaurant, walk to the left. This leads to the aerial corridor. Due to the long and dangerous journey, there are few tourists and many young people can be seen along the way. Go through a dense forest and take a detour up the mountain.

Further ahead, the mountain road rises and falls intermittently, with sore waist and legs, sweating profusely. Without perseverance, it will be difficult to move forward. After walking for about an hour, there was a "one-step ascent to the sky", where a giant rock was lifted up and climbing required walking on a steel ladder, like the Tianbo Mansion. The scenery here is even more unique. After climbing up the rocks, I suddenly feel the scenery entering the painting, with clear mountains and beautiful waters, and a refreshing spirit! Several people on the mountain rock are all backpackers, and a young man exclaimed in admiration, 'It's worth walking all this way here!'! From here, the scenery is even better when you look at the road where Wulang worships Buddha.

There is a withered tree soaring in the sky at the top of the rock, which reminds me of the withered tree on the western peak of Mount Hua! Looking down from here, the mountain peaks are like blades, sliced by knives, with peculiar shapes. I don't know how heaven and earth could create such a landscape! This place name truly lives up to its name, 'One Step to the Sky'!

Moving forward, suddenly enlightened, the left side of the corridor is a towering cliff, the right side is a cliff in the air, and there are hundreds of acres of terraced fields at the foot of the mountain. At the end of the aerial corridor, there is a flat ground for people to rest on. From a distance, the mountains are stacked and continuous. Nearby, a stone pillar can be pulled up, and the top of the pillar is lush and green. The pine forest is like a pine forest. This kind of scenic spot is difficult to describe with pen and ink!

Yuan Jiajie

Yuanjiajie is located north of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and east of Yangjiajie. It is a mountainous plateau, backed by rocky peaks and facing secluded valleys and peaks, extending from east to west. Legend has it that the name of the Yuan Family Realm comes from a general surnamed Yuan in the Huangchao Army during the Later Tang Dynasty. He came to Qingyan Mountain to hide from pursuit, built a house as a dwelling, cultivated land and planted crops, and named himself after the Yuan surname.

The main attractions of Yuanjiajie include the backyard, the Lost Soul Terrace, and the First Bridge in the World. After coming down from the Yang family boundary, the road to the Yuan family boundary is a ∩ - shaped and relatively far. To be honest, my legs are already shaking a bit, and the high and low hills up and down the mountain are unbearable. Fortunately, based on the homework I had done beforehand, there is a small path that can bypass the Wulongzhai Mountain Road and go straight through the forest, saving at least 40 minutes of travel. In the mountains and valleys of the Yang family, I followed my intuition and walked down this path paved with pine needles. On both sides, the forest covers the sun, unable to see sunlight, or there are mountain springs rushing by, with scattered rocks on both sides. Not long after walking, I met a young man who was also a backpacker, panting heavily and looking puzzled, asking for directions. I told him that Yang Jiajie was ahead, and he was very excited. This feeling is great. Today on the road, I met at least several young people like this. I gave them a lot of advice and encouragement, and they also responded with gratitude and excitement. This is also thanks to the beautiful girl I met in the air corridor, who smiled at me when I was sweating profusely and told me she was almost there, giving me a lot of encouragement.

After walking for a quarter of an hour, he really emerged from it. Leave a photo of the signboard here to indicate the successor.

In order to save time, we simply ignored lunch and ate fruits and dry food while walking. It was indeed cost-effective and fast, and most importantly, we didn't have to rush into restaurants with thousands of tour groups! Walking out against the gradually surging crowd, with back pain and discomfort, I secretly squeezed into a crowded environmental protection car that had already exceeded capacity, rushing all the way down and accelerating quite a bit. When I got off at Yuanjiajie, I saw tens of thousands of people crowded in a small area of several hundred square meters! Thank you for making the right decision to go far and then close! The scenery of the Yuan Family Circle is also good. For those who cannot reach the Yang Family Circle, it is enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot in the Yuan Family Circle. There are many strange peaks and rocks here. Standing on the observation deck of Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, you can see three thousand strange peaks in full view. They are majestic and beautiful, with different expressions. Thousands of stone peaks and pillars stand tall and majestic, ready to emerge.

Tiansheng Bridge is the largest naturally occurring stone slab bridge with the largest vertical height difference discovered in the world so far.

Yuan Jiajie

Although the bridge is already crowded with people, it doesn't really catch people's attention. Walking east along the winding stone path that surrounds the cliffs, you can reach the most magnificent landscape in the Yuan family world - the Enchanting Tower. The reason why it is called "enchanting" is said to stem from the fact that as soon as one stands on the observation deck, their soul will be captivated by the beautiful scenery in front of them. Here, hundreds of stone peaks stand quietly in the canyon, piercing straight into the blue sky like soldiers in formation, with various postures and extraordinary momentum. The Enchanting Tower captures the magnificent scenery of the Heavenly Dog gazing at the moon, the conch emerging from the water, the generals lining up, and the towering pillar of the sky.

The Nine Heavenly Mysterious Ladder is a north-south canyon among a group of peaks, with four slender peaks standing from near to far, from bottom to top, connected in a straight line, pointing straight to the sky, like four steps of a ladder.

There is a pine tree on the left, named Xianweng Pine.

The backyard is located at the junction of Zhongping and Xiaping in the Yuan family boundary. At the corner of the cliff, a cave opened, and a strange moon shaped stone passed through the door, with dozens of peaks standing in the deep ravine in a staggered manner.

Crossing an iron arch bridge, the crowded crowd caused the not spacious iron bridge to sway left and right. Afraid of falling into the abyss with hundreds of people, he quickly escaped.

After walking away and looking back, the bridge is shaking even more violently from side to side, which is really scary. It is recommended that the scenic area reinforce the bridge and limit the number of people on the bridge.

After crossing the bridge, you will arrive at Zhangjiajie's most famous Qiankun Pillar. This place is the filming location of Mount Hallelujah on Pandora's planet in the 3D movie Avatar, so a monster was specially placed... The stone pillar in the distance is Mount Hallelujah.

After turning a corner, a magnificent valley suddenly appeared before my eyes.

This is the best viewing spot on the Enchanted Tower. The peaks stand tall, as strong as an iron army, the mountains are layered, and the strange rocks are rugged. The green peaks form a formation in the secluded valley, with infinite layers and grand scenes that capture the heart and soul.

If there weren't too many tourists, I think I would have stayed here all day to admire this natural masterpiece. But after walking so much, my legs are really out of control. Slowly pacing down the mountain in a disheveled manner, I couldn't walk on the chaotic slope anymore, so I had to give up on Jinbian Creek and take the Bailong elevator straight down.

Although I can't see the small train at the Ten Mile Gallery anymore, after all, I have successfully completed my task today, so I am satisfied. Then he turned two buses and left the gate of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot.

After going out, I gained experience and got on the bus at the entrance. It cost only one yuan to get to the minibus station. After more than an hour, I returned to the city center. Because I was too tired, I fell asleep on the bus, but there seemed to be a string taut in my sleep. I kept staring at the GPS on my phone from time to time, and finally got off the bus decisively at the intersection of Ziwu Road and Dayong Road, saving dozens of yuan on the taxi fare from the bus station to the hotel.

evening.

The next night, we chose to stay at a very distinctive inn. The environment was very good, with various equipment and facilities that were very complete and new. The room was very large, clean and tidy, and the owner was very nice. They also helped us plan the route for the next day and bought us tickets for the next day. It was really good. The price was the most affordable for so many days of stay, and the environment was the best. We must give it a good review. Next time we have the opportunity to come back, we must stay at the owner's house forever!

At night, I went out to look for food and searched online to find a restaurant nearby that specializes in Zhangjiajie's specialty cuisine. It's not far from us, so I decided to try this restaurant. As expected, a restaurant with a good reputation is different. The environment is good, the service is enthusiastic, and the food is great. Before coming here, I heard that the bandit chicken here is very delicious. Personally, I quite like to eat chicken. The bandit chicken I ate this time is, without exaggeration, one of the best chicken restaurants I have ever tried. I strongly recommend it! And the prices are also affordable, it's rare to come across such a good restaurant while traveling! Must be a five-star recommendation!

Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Tianzi Mountain

I was overworked from hiking yesterday, so I slept from 8 pm to 6:30 am the next day! Fortunately, I slept for so long. I seemed to have a slight fever last night, but now it's better. Today I'm going to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Tianzi Mountain. The route is similar to that of yesterday. The east of the Emperor is adjacent to Suoxiyu, the south to Yuanjiajie, and the north to Sangzhi County. It is one of the four scenic spots in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot District. This mountain was formerly known as Qingyan Mountain. In the 13th year of the Yuan Dynasty's Zhizheng reign (1353), the leader of Tujia farmers, Xiang Dakun, was invited by the hermit Li Boru in Huanglongquan Cave at the foot of Qingyan Mountain to lead his followers to "Qingyan Mountain". He adopted the name "Xiangwang Tianzi" and, with the assistance of Li Boru, rose up in rebellion, commanding the establishment of a country and standing firm. After the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, in the 18th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1385), Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang ordered Chu King Zhen to lead more than 10000 elite soldiers, including General Tang He and Deputy General Tong Deguang, to besiege Xiang Wang in five directions. After more than 40 days of bloody battles, Xiang Dakun, who had arrogantly claimed the title of "Emperor" for 32 years, died at the foot of the cliff in Shentangwan due to being outnumbered and losing one after another. Afterwards, the local ethnic groups named all the places where Xiang Wang lived before his death as "Tianzi" in memory of him.

After washing up and going out, although it's not a clear sky, it's still a good thin cloud weather. Because of yesterday's experience, I didn't take the bus after getting off at Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Bus Station today, but walked directly to the ticket station, only to find that I had detoured the wrong way. When you see the sea of people at the ticket station, there are at least a few hundred meters in front of it. Fortunately, the pass I bought yesterday can be used directly, but even so, I feel that today's itinerary may not be too smooth. This feeling was immediately confirmed - I rushed to the Tianzishan ticket station, but unfortunately saw a long queue of over 200 meters and a dark crowd filling the stairs. I didn't care too much and squeezed in. After waiting in line for half an hour, I realized that I had only taken a dozen steps... The original plan was to walk through Tianzi Mountain in the morning and go to Tianmen Mountain in the afternoon. Judging from the current situation, there was a big mistake now.

The round-trip cable car from Tianzishan is 104 yuan. Finally getting on the cable car, I felt a long sigh of relief. There are three little boys in the same group, all from Guangdong who came to the summer camp. One child has a fear of heights and has been ridiculed by everyone for a long time. Sitting in this trembling high-altitude cable car is actually very comfortable, and the scenery is also very good. There are towering mountains on both sides, and deep valleys and forests below. The strange peaks and rocks flashed past outside the window.

Not long after, reach the summit. Looking down, a thin mist covers the plain. Without enough time to take a closer look, I hurriedly walked towards the Zhongba Station and aimed straight at the Grand View Terrace at the farthest point of Tianzi Mountain. The car was speeding around the peak, and people were jumping up and down inside the car. After traveling for fifteen minutes, the driver reminded us that we had arrived at the Grand View Tower! When I got off the car, I had to walk down for more than ten minutes. This section of the road is easy to walk, so I took a leisurely stroll - in fact, I got hurt yesterday and couldn't get faster if I had to. Upon arriving at the Grand View Tower, one cannot help but feel a bit disappointed. The scenery here is not as stunning as it was in the Yang Family Realm yesterday, only with several peaks arranged in a clear and layered manner. The weather is not as awesome as it was yesterday, and the haze has further reduced the grandeur of the scene. Nevertheless, I still marvel at the incredible craftsmanship and grandeur of nature!

In fact, today's goal was originally to walk down from the Grand View Tower, complete the Xianren Bridge, Tianzi Seat, take a difficult step, and be pecked by the divine chicken, but it was completely ruined by the two-hour queue at the cableway station. After walking more than ten steps towards the downhill direction from the Grand View Terrace, I saw a family panting and coming up from below. Question: How far is it below? Answer: About an hour and a half, one-way! After looking at the table, even without considering the amount of movement for the six hundred steps, it was too late even on a flat road, so I had to give up. Sitting on the steps of the path, gazing at the distant mountains and valleys, I suddenly realized that there was a better angle here than the Grand View Terrace!

Switching the photography mode to black and white, I realized that the 'Grand View Platform' truly lives up to its name! The distant mountains are like jade, the nearby mountains are like ink, the ocean is vast and the layers are distinct, which is admirable.

After resting for over half an hour, I returned on the same route and got on a passing minibus. Without hesitation, I looked at the map and made plans for the scenic spots along the way. In the end, I decided to go to "Diandiantai" for a stroll. Diandian Terrace is located in the middle of the distance between Daguan Terrace and the peak of Tianzi Mountain. Walking down from the bus stop, there are lush trees on both sides of the path, but crossing the railing could result in fatalities.

Fifteen minutes' walk to Diandiantai. Looking into the deep valley from afar, there are rugged and strange rocks that resemble dozens of human figures. The "emperor" stands tall in the center, while the "messenger" in front reads out the imperial edict. The "left prime minister and right prime minister" stand with bows, while the "soldiers" hold their breath and listen attentively - this is something that requires a good imagination, at least I don't feel very familiar looking at it.

In the distance is the Tianzi Pavilion, which is the tower on Tianzi Mountain. I don't have time to go, keep two here.

Passing by a group of vendors at the cableway station. Local special food - rice noodles Rice noodles.

Unexpectedly, while taking the cableway down the mountain, we encountered Waterloo again, with hundreds of people lined up like paper clips in front of us! From 1:30 to 2:30, the queue left everyone feeling hopeless. Just as their legs were about to break, they finally got on the cable car! Unable to bear to die, put up a handsome Tianzi Mountain as a memorial.

Tianmen Mountain

Tianmen Mountain, also known as Yunmeng Mountain and Songliang Mountain, is the highest mountain in the urban area of Zhangjiajie, only 8 kilometers away from the city center. It is named after the spectacular Tianmen Cave and is one of the earliest famous mountains recorded in history. In the sixth year of the Yong'an reign of Wu in the Three Kingdoms period (263 AD), the steep cliffs and caves of Songliang Mountain suddenly opened (probably the result of the development of sandstone peak forests), forming a rare wonder - Tianmen Cave, which was regarded as a good omen by the descendants of the Wu Emperor, and thus named Tianmen Mountain. "Tianmen Cave Opens" has become my only impression of Tianmen Mountain before I came to Zhangjiajie. This mountain, which is more than a thousand meters high, is famous for its unique shape and mysterious legend. The Tianmen Gate is like a mirror hanging high, like the Tianmen Gate opening alone. It breathes clouds and thunder all the year round, but it is often ignored by tourists because of its single scenery: in front of the famous Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, its scenery is slightly inferior. However, I decided to go to Tianmen Mountain because I recently filmed the legend of "Wild Treasures" with thick ink and heavy strokes on the Central Nine Exploration Channel. The Wild Fur is said to be Li Guoye, a general under the command of the Conquering King Li Zicheng. After the defeat of the Conquering King, Li Guo became a monk at Tianmen Mountain and was given the Dharma name Yefu. When King Chuang withdrew from the capital, he emptied all the gold and silver treasures in the Ming Emperor's palace with the intention of making a comeback in the future. It is said that he hid the treasure official silver in a giant tree and spread it to Yefu, hiding it in Tianmen. For hundreds of years, people have been flocking to the wild treasure trove, all returning empty handed. To this day, the whereabouts of the treasure remain a mystery. In recent decades, local villagers have found treasures hidden in the Ming Palace in some caves, which confirms this. There are also two fascinating places in Tianmen Mountain, namely, the world's first cableway with a length of 7455 meters newly opened and the glass walkway newly built in 2011. Just based on these two points, it's worth spending hundreds of yuan on a trip to Tianmen Mountain!

During the meal, many diners asked the landlady about the nightlife. Approaching the conversation, I learned that there will be a performance of 'Tianmen Fox Fairy' tonight. Tianmen Fox Fairy? Isn't it just a stage play at the foot of Tianmen Mountain? Probably the same as "Impressions of Lijiang" and "Impressions of West Lake"! If it were normal days, I wouldn't be very interested and there would be mixed opinions online. But this afternoon, I was rejected from Tianmen Mountain and have been filled with resentment. When I heard that there was a chance to go to Tianmen Mountain, I found a life-saving straw. Regardless of the situation, I paid the bill and left, and then went to Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station again to try my luck! Waiting for the bus on the main road for a long time

Tianmen Mountain

The scenic area has specially built such a large platform for stage plays, it seems that the price of 180 yuan is worth it. Looking at the behind the scenes team, there are Mei Shuaiyuan and Tan Dun, it's not a waste of this trip!

The stage scenery is also very beautiful. That's all for now.

The majestic Tianmen Mountain and the magnificent Tianmen Cave. In the majestic Wuling Mountains, there is a canyon that is 5 kilometers long and has an elevation difference of over 1000 meters. The canyon is covered with fragrant grass, the stream is gurgling, and there are occasional clouds and mist overflowing from the valley, just like a peach blossom garden in this world. The main stage of "Tianmen Fox Immortal - New Liu Hai Chopping Trees" is integrated with these peculiar peaks, canyons, forests, and waterfalls, forming a world's only high mountain canyon grand stage with a depth of several kilometers, a width and height difference of over kilometers! The stage and stage design facilities of this project are currently the most invested, complex and large-scale stage machinery, and the largest number and distribution of lighting facilities among live performances worldwide. In addition, the main stage is also the largest in the world, using a panoramic fiberglass stage of 10000 square meters. The telescopic flying bridge with a span of 60 meters and a height of 32 meters is currently the only large-scale stage mechanical device in the world's performance projects. Number of lights: 1100 large lights, 2800 small and medium-sized lights; The performance audio is a specially customized American EAW outdoor rainproof and moisture-proof audio equipment, which is currently the largest investment in domestic performance projects.

The central stage of the play is built on a valley, resembling a horizontally lying ancient tree floating on a trickling stream, perfectly blending with the surrounding natural rocks. The total stage area is 10000 square meters, which is not only the largest performance stage in the world, but also entirely designed with fiberglass. Under the illumination of the lights, the entire structure is transparent and the colors change, creating amazing and fantastic scenes.

The smoky world of the human world is built along the mountains, with more than 10 authentic Tujia wooden houses, black tiled carved small windows, wooden railings to protect the houses, and strings of corn and chili peppers, forming a village with Xiangxi characteristics. All wooden houses are made of special materials, and can change colors freely with the lighting at night, creating a colorful scene. And the distant terraced fields, wooden bridges, and waterwheels also echo the village from afar.

Plot introduction: Adapted from the story of Liu Hai chopping wood, this song and dance drama incorporates folk songs from places such as Sangzhi and the folk customs and traditions of Tujia. It is performed in large-scale real-life scenes. The victory lies in the large-scale creation of lighting and background, as well as the unique style of the song. The whole drama is divided into 5 scenes.

The Legend of Tianmen: As night falls and the moon rises, the majestic and magical Tianmen Mountain slowly unfolds like a natural screen, transforming into another kind of fantastic and magnificent scenery. The sound of music resounds, mist and smoke linger among the strange peaks, waterfalls and springs surge in the canyon, flowers, plants and trees dance gracefully, and 100 Tujia girls dressed in silver ornaments sing like heavenly music in the joyful and lively nature, telling the love story that has been transported by the gentle breeze for thousands of years:

At the foot of Tianmen Mountain in the Fox King's Selection of Concubines, purple energy rises in the dense forest. The King of Ten Thousand Foxes begins to select concubines, and countless enchanting foxes appear in powder and ink, their swaying postures displaying a myriad of styles. Coincidentally, at this moment, the white fox, who had been practicing in the mountains for thousands of years, was transforming into a holy and pure woman, walking out slowly from the rising full moon. Bright eyes and white teeth, slender waist and graceful beauty; The dance moves are graceful and ethereal. The cold and aloof Fox King was deeply attracted and presented a precious pearl symbolizing royal power as a gift

On the other side of the Tujia mountain village in "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", men are working, women are burning fires, woodcutters are singing mountain songs, and girls are washing clothes by the river. The pure and happy human life aroused the infinite longing of the White Fox Fairy. She quietly came to the mountain stronghold to spy, but was unexpectedly chased by hunters. The young woodcutter Liu Hai stepped forward and used his body to cover up for the white fox fairy to run, run, run... Liu Hai and the white fox became husband and wife in their dream.

Contradictions abound in the world of demons and mortals, the heavens and emotions, the immortal realm and the mundane world. These contradictions weigh heavily like mountains, blocking the hearts of two lovers layer by layer.

The Thousand Year Watchtower: Tianmen Wonderland, an unparalleled fate; Millennium White Fox, Eternal Watch! Sadness, joy, smiles, and tears converge to create a touching love story. At the moment when the lights were lit up, we were deeply immersed in it. The combination of this folk song and modern musical is enchanting!

Oh, it's raining now. The audience has left their seats and gone to the front desk to get raincoats. But after a flurry of activity, they have all sat down again. What kind of scriptwriting and stage effects are needed to make the restless Chinese audience watch calmly in the rain?

Zhangjiajie

Because Zhangjiajie is located in a remote area, parades are not easy, and information is often monopolized by travel agencies, this brief guide is made for readers. As mentioned in the first chapter, Zhangjiajie Scenic Area is actually three parts: Zhangjiajie urban area, Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area in the south of the city and Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area in the north of the city. Among them, Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area includes Huangshi Village, Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, as well as Baofeng Lake and Huanglong Cave in the remote east. Time is limited, and it takes two days to complete its essence, so the final plan is to complete the main essence scenic spots of Yangjiajie, Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain in one and a half days, and complete Tianmen Mountain in half a day.

Jishou

After Zhangjiajie, head to Phoenix. There are many people, mostly young people born in the 1980s and 1990s who went on a pilgrimage to Phoenix. The car is a large passenger, carrying thirty people and dialects from various regions, heading west along S306 provincial road. Along the way, you can already see tiled earthen houses, arranged in rows and winding through the mountains and valleys. The tiles are black bricks and tiles, occasionally mixed with newly burned red tiles. The railway on the left also moved forward, and a red skinned sleeper car slowly stopped, so it was overtaken by our bus. Such a train, accompanied by the sprawling green mountains and fields harvested with rice, is hard not to evoke memories of the past era. Luojiagang, Bajiahe Village, with fields on both sides. The strange mountains and steep ridges are on the side, shrouded in clouds and mist, as if time has been turned back to the outskirts of Xi'an in 1998. Along the way, there are many new builders of residential houses, with colorful porcelain tiles pasted on the walls and glazed tiles on the roofs. Farmers also have money. Houping. Passing through the agricultural market. traffic jam. There are many idle residents. Flying on the dirt road, bumpy up and down, feeling dizzy and dizzy. Stop writing and take a nap.

Chaxia Village

And Chaxia Village, it seems to be the sound of Tea Picking Village. The Luo Yi River flows eastward from here. The stream is as wide as the river, and there are boats sailing on the stream. There is a planting field on the water surface, which seems to be lotus roots.

Longbi Village

Guzhang Longbi Village Miao Village. There is a giant dragon crossing the sky in front, and a small stream flowing quietly behind.

After the Miao village, the roads became increasingly muddy and there were fewer cars. Afraid of prolonged rain and landslides. X109 This road is relatively quaint and lush on both sides, and should have been a major thoroughfare before the opening of the highway. Get out of the mud road and go to Jishou City, passing by Jishou Station. According to the guide, you can take the Hunan train from Zhangjiajie to Jishou and transfer to Fenghuang Station. But the speed is slow, as seen on the road, so it is not as smooth as a bus. The entire journey from Jishou to Fenghuang is smooth on the highway, without further ado.
