This trip to Zhangjiajie is my first joint trip with my boyfriend. It is said that travel is a touchstone for evaluating another person, so I am looking forward to this trip with a "sharpening the knife to the lamb" attitude.

During these five days of travel, the two of us surprisingly had no disagreements and played happily. My boyfriend's evaluation of this reality is: 'Don't always believe in the poisonous chicken soup online. The law in a nutshell is basically wrong.'“

Impressions of Zhangjiajie

1. Here are some of China's most beautiful mountain peaks. If you love to see the various forms of mountain peaks, Zhangjiajie is definitely a must visit.

2. The peaks in Zhangjiajie are slightly steep. If it's a family trip, you need to slow down the itinerary. Otherwise, the child will not be able to handle it.

3. In addition to the mountain peaks, there is also Fenghuang Ancient Town to visit here, which is also a particularly fun attraction.

4. Not recommended to join a group. Usually there are extra expenses to be made (if I'm not right, then you're right), and self driving trips are more convenient to schedule. We placed an order to rent a car in advance on the Yihai APP, picked it up in Zhangjiajie, and then went on a self driving tour. Nowadays, the rental fees are not high, and cheap car models can be bought for around a hundred yuan a day. (Remember to use that new user gift package, and the rent will be waived on the first day)

Travel itinerary:

Day 1: Landing in Zhangjiajie (played at the Ten Mile Gallery)

The next day: Forest Park

Day 3: Forest Park

The fourth day: Tianmen Mountain

Day 5: Return journey

Day 1: Landing in Zhangjiajie

After the plane arrived in Zhangjiajie, we contacted the staff of Yihai Car Rental. They came back to the airport to pick up the car and handle the procedures at a nearby store, without having to carry their luggage, which was very convenient.

During the epidemic, cars were also disinfected, so it's reassuring.

After collecting the car, we drove directly to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot. On the day of arrival, it was still raining and I didn't buy a raincoat. It was also inconvenient to hold an umbrella, so I bought a raincoat on the roadside.

We bought tickets that afternoon. Remember to buy tickets with insurance. If you are scratched by a monkey here, the insurance will compensate.

The Ten Mile Gallery has a particularly beautiful scenery. The rain didn't affect the scenery, I was particularly happy. Suggest taking a small train when entering and walking when exiting.

I saw a monkey here, it was my first time seeing a wild monkey. I was excited, but also worried about getting scratched. However, the monkey did not attack anyone, and we even took a photo from a distance.

The next day, Forest Park

Continue to explore the National Forest Park on this day. Because we walked a long way the day before and felt a bit tired, we set off relatively late. I drove to the forest park and parked in the parking lot. I found a recommended route online in advance and walked in the opposite direction, which was very interesting.

We didn't buy the tickets in advance, which is a bit regrettable. The queue time is quite long, about half an hour.

After entering, I first went to the Hundred Dragon Ladder and as soon as I came out, I saw some little monkeys. I thought they would have no worries about food and clothing here and wouldn't look for trash cans. I didn't expect everyone to gather around the trash can.

A child was feeding food to a monkey, but the monkey was in a hurry and scratched the child's hand. At this point, everyone realized that little monkeys can really hurt people.

These little monkeys are very intelligent and also very picky eaters.

This is the Qiankun Pillar of the Yuan Family Realm, a solitary mountain peak that can stand for tens of thousands of years without collapsing.

This mountain peak also illustrates that as a creator, you cannot fully fathom what nature will create.

We walked to the first bridge in the world. When standing on the bridge, it doesn't feel scary, and the road surface doesn't feel very narrow. On the contrary, looking at this bridge from elsewhere makes me feel scared.

After leaving the Yuan family realm, we went to Tianzi Mountain again. You can drive there. The distance on this road is not far, and the road conditions are also good. Just the mountain road has ups and downs, remember to slow down and travel slowly.

I came to Tianzi Mountain to see the fairy scattering flowers, which is also a very beautiful attraction. At first, I didn't even notice the feeling of the fairy scattering flowers.

Leaving from here, we arrived at the Imperial Pen Peak, as shown in the picture below. The mountain peaks stand steep, like vertical pens.

I saw parents traveling with their children, so I must remember to protect them. There are cliffs on both sides here, so it's important to take good care of your children.

I watched the performance of 'Charming Xiangxi' in the evening and it was still very good. Whether it's the scenery or the professionalism of the performers, it's all worth it.

Due to the pandemic, everyone in the theater sits in separate seats and is required to wear masks. In addition to outdoor performances, there will also be indoor performances later. We arrived around 7 o'clock and the performance ended at 9 o'clock.

Forest Park - Jinbian Creek

Many people's trip to Jinbian Creek was on the first day, but because we were going in the opposite direction, it turned into a forest park trip on the second day.

After leaving the forest park, we are going to Tianmen Mountain. So I checked out directly that morning.

The scenery of Jinbian Creek is particularly beautiful. The water here is very clear, and on sunny days, you can still see the feeling of mist permeating.

I saw several tour groups here, they went to the scenic spots of Journey to the West, and the trip came to an end. But we are still moving forward.

Although it is written here that you can play in the water, the water is too cold and you dare not go down at all. The fog was quite heavy that day. But since it's rare to come to Zhangjiajie, we still need to have some fun, so we continued up the mountain.

In fact, after going up the mountain, the fog was still very thick and never dissipated.

I saw someone being scratched by a monkey here. According to the doctor in the clinic, buying insurance can reimburse related expenses. Moreover, people in the clinic are occasionally scratched, so it's better to buy insurance for those few dollars.

That night we stayed at Huatian Hotel, which is also a hotel with beautiful scenery.

The fourth day: Tianmen Mountain

Tianmen Mountain Forest Park is not Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. And Tianzi Mountain in the National Forest Park is not Tianmen Mountain here.

Fame remembers that I had a headache.

At Tianmen Mountain, we first took the western route and then took the eastern route. The fog hasn't dissipated all the way, which means that the western route has been watching the fog for almost two hours. The forest sightseeing cable car is particularly interesting. Note that the cable car here is different from other places, with legs soaring high, which is very exciting. The cost is not too high, 25 yuan, worth a try.

Slowly, the fog began to dissipate, and we even saw a sea of clouds, which made us feel very satisfied at that moment.

The process of descending the ladder is tiring. 999 steps down, my legs feel like they've been injected with lead.

We also saw 99 winding mountain roads. I admire the infrastructure of Greater China, as highways can be built anywhere. Winding like ribbons, floating on the mountain peak.

The biggest regret is that the mist did not see Tianmen Cave.

After returning from Tianmen Mountain, we drove back to the city center of Zhangjiajie and went straight home on the same day. When returning the car at the airport, it was also very smooth. After handing over the car, I got on the plane and returned.

The biggest feeling this time is that when visiting scenic spots like mountains and waters, it's best to check the weather in advance. It's best to visit on a sunny day.
