Zhangjiajie tourism has given me a wonderful memory. And I also felt the essence of Zhangjiajie in this journey.

My colleagues and I wanted to go to Zhangjiajie for three days of low annual leave in April. Before we left, two people found a lot of information on the Internet and always wanted to appreciate the essence of Zhangjiajie in these three days. We booked a hotel online in advance and roughly planned our itinerary.

Regarding the itinerary

Our journey should be divided into three parts, namely glass walkway, glass bridge and Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot scenic spot. Because I read on the Internet that we must go to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot to visit Zhangjiajie, and learned that the ticket validity period of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot is another four days. We spent most of our time here. However, there are various views about glass walkway and glass bridge, and we also want to experience them.

Day 1: Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Wujiayu Ticket Station, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie (taking an environmental bus) - Bailong Skyladder up - (taking an environmental bus) Yuan Jiajie, the core scenic spot - Back Garden - Haliluya Mountain - the first bridge under heaven - Yuan Jiajie Tourist Center (about 3 hours in total) - take an environmental bus to the left to Yangjiajie - Wulong Village - step up to the sky - Tianbo Mansion - (taking an environmental bus) Bailong Skyladder down - (taking an environmental bus) Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Wujiayu Ticket Station, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie

Day 2: Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Wujiayu Ticket Station in Zhangjiajie Core Scenic Area (taking an environmental bus) - Jinbianxi (about 3 hours of sightseeing) - Big Oxygen Bar Square (about half an hour of sightseeing, taking an environmental bus) - Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Wujiayu Ticket Station in Zhangjiajie Core Scenic Area

Day 3: Tianmen Mountain (half day)+Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge (half day)

Regarding Transportation

Because it involves the conversion of three scenic spots, we have decided to drive from Chongqing to Zhangjiajie for more convenience.

Route: Take Baotou Maoming Expressway from Chongqing South Ring Interchange, drive more than 430 kilometers, enter Zhanghua Expressway, drive more than 100 kilometers, enter Changzhang Expressway, drive more than 60 kilometers, and get off the expressway from Yanghe Exit to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Spot. You can enter the scenic spot from Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Wujiayu Ticket Station, which is also the landmark ticket station.

We arrived the night before and parked our car directly in the free parking lot of the inn.

Regarding accommodation:

We stayed at Ya'anju Inn at the gate of Xibu Street in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot. The Inn is very good, with free parking. For self driving tour, it is a huge benefit. The rooms booked are large and clean, and the standard rooms are large. The room is 118 yuan. I didn't expect such a good location (2 kilometers away from Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area, the bus station is the most convenient place to go out), such a good environment, so cheap, elevators, and free wifi. However, all hotels in Zhangjiajie are prohibited from all one-time sex products because they advocate environmental protection. This initiative is quite favorable. The boss can also book Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot bought 228 tickets, and the boss ordered 208 tickets for us. Haha, the locals are comfortable. Thank the innkeeper for providing us with such good help, That's amazing!

PS: There is also a Xibu Street near Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area. You can go for a stroll at night, which is quite good~

After a night of preparation, our journey has officially begun!

DAY 1

We walked to the Wujiayu ticket station in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot. This is the symbolic gate. We chose the hotel beside this gate to facilitate access.

Our first stop was the Bailong Skyladder that we had heard about for a long time. Almost everyone who came here would choose to take the Bailong Skyladder to the mountain. Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot on the mountain is the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot, becoming the first choice for every tourist.

I thought there would be a lot of tourists in such a large scenic area, but I didn't expect that the transportation capacity of Bailong Sky Ladder is very strong, and it can accommodate dozens of people entering. The space is still spacious.

We bought round-trip tickets for exclusive access, and there's no need to queue up.

It's really a novel experience to take the Bailong Heavenly Ladder up the mountain. It used to be used as a cable car or cableway, but there are such vehicles in Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area.

After getting off the elevator, we went directly to the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot [Yuan Jiajie], which opened our upstream mode.

The first stop on the mountain is the Back Garden. I always saw this scenic spot online, and I thought it was like a backyard in the entire Yuan family world, but it's said not to be. Anyway, it's very beautiful~

The second stop, Mount Hallelujah, is not unfamiliar by its name, and many people also come here because of it. Don't mention, this stone peak is really interesting.

The third stop, the "Number One Bridge in the World," is suspended between cliffs, and red ribbons symbolizing good luck and blessings are hung on both sides of the bridge. It is truly thrilling and warm, and we cannot help but marvel at the incredible craftsmanship of nature.

At noon, we ate and rested at the Yuanjiajie Tourist Center

The first stop in the afternoon is Wulong Village. It is said that Wulong Village was originally a place where bandits set up camp. Curiosity drove us to go and take a look, which was quite interesting.

On the way to Tianbo Mansion, one needs to go through a relatively rugged road and climb a ladder called 'One Step to Heaven' to reach Tianbo Mansion. The ladder is narrow and steep, and only one person can walk in a row at a time, which is in line with the atmosphere of the Yang family.

Watching the color of the sky gradually change from Tianbo Mansion, as the sun sets, it's time for us to descend the mountain.

So, we got off from Tianbo Mansion and took an eco-friendly car to the Bai Long Heavenly Ladder station. With the tickets we had bought before, we went straight down the mountain. It was so convenient and smooth!

When I came back in the evening, I remember the restaurant recommended by the boss the night before. He said that the Zhangjiajie specialty food he made was super good, so I called the boss directly to make a reservation and asked him to cook the dishes first. We navigated directly to the restaurant, which is located next to the bus station and has free parking. The restaurant has two floors and is not big, but the environment inside is super clean. It left a very comfortable first impression on me. I ordered stone pot fish, which is tender, and there are many vegetables to match it. The dipping water is really fragrant, and there is bandit chicken, which is delicious, crispy, super flavorful, and very comfortable to eat. There is also tiger skin and green pepper given by the boss. I earned it and opened it directly when I arrived. Only those who have experienced it before. I just realized that comfort and ease!

DAY 2

The first day is up the mountain, so today we will develop a great place to go down the mountain

【 Oxygen Bar Square 】+【 Golden Whip Creek 】

We were originally looking at online recommendations to go to Jinbian Creek, but on the way, we saw a huge square with lush green grass and floating water vapor in the air. Later, we found out that this is the Big Oxygen Bar Square, named after its abundant oxygen. It is said that there are 80000 to 100000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter here.

We took a walk along the water source and arrived at Jinbian Creek.

Every inch of land here is moist, and every breath of air is refreshing. Taking a walk here is truly a pleasure, without the fatigue of traveling. We took many green photos, which are very eye-catching

The two-day trip to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot ended with a wonderful gift from nature~I fell in love with this place. The wonderful mountains and rocks, green mountains and green waters, as well as its artificial miracle, the Hundred Dragon Ladder, are perfectly combined with the natural beauty. It is a good place for traveling, vacationing and relaxing.

We ended early in the afternoon, returned to the hotel for a brief rest, and set off early to the vicinity of Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area to prepare for the next day.

DAY 3

We saw on the Internet that we had to take a cable car to get to the glass walkway of Tianmen Mountain, and there were many people queuing up in the cable car, so we started early in the morning.

As expected, the queue was too long and the capacity of the cable car was too limited. It took us a long time to get on board, as one round trip would be faster than an hour. It's nice to take the cable car and overlook the scenery below, but I've run out of patience in the front. If I were impatient, what would happen.

The glass walkway is a little short. When we went there, we caught up with many people and were crowded, so it was not so exciting. Looking back, it took more than 200 people to come in with full expectation, which was a bit different from what we imagined.

We didn't think it was interesting, so we left early and went to play at the Glass Bridge this afternoon~

It's really no exaggeration. There are more people on the glass bridge than on the glass stack. How can I do? I'm desperate... Fortunately, the tickets for the Glass Bridge and the Grand Canyon can be purchased separately. We only bought tickets for the Glass Bridge for over 150 yuan.

Therefore, we prefer the Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot scenic spot with a higher cost performance ratio. The scenic spot is larger, and the ticket validity period is also long. There is no need to rush to travel. This mode may be the rhythm of tourism. In addition, the scenic spots are quite distinctive and the photos taken are also very beautiful. I sincerely recommend them~
