"If you are not in Zhangjiajie, how can you call yourself an old man when you are 100 years old?", Just because of this saying that is spread in the world, when I am over fifty years old, I must also visit the famous Zhangjiajie.
Arrive at Zhangjiajie West Railway Station the next day by taking a sleeper from Hangzhou South Railway Station. West Railway Station is regarded as Zhangjiajie's high-speed railway station, which is a bit far away from the urban area.
The first day of accommodation in Zhangjiajie was booked on Ctrip-Guanyuan Inn (Zhangjiajie Railway Station Tianmenshan Branch), a very good Xiangxi-style B & B. The landlady is warm and treats others sincerely. She and I are very friendly, but the most important thing is that his home is cost-effective. The location is right at the old Zhangjiajie Railway Station with convenient transportation. By the way, his family also has a chain B & B at the north gate of Tianzi Mountain. It is super convenient to go to the forest park to play.
I went to a restaurant with a good reputation for lunch. I wanted to try the famous Sanxia Pot. When I went in and saw, how could one person eat this big iron pot?! I came with a serving of stone-ground tofu and a cup of rice as hard as raw rice, which was very nostalgic.
In the afternoon, I went to a tourist attraction in the city-Tusi City. I didn't have a good impression. I felt like it was an attraction specially built for tour groups. I didn't go in and went around outside.
Then we went to the newly opened Nanmenkou Food Street, located next to Xinbubugao on Huilong Road, Yongding District. The neighborhood focuses on creativity, Internet celebrity snacks and traditional snacks, and is home to many Internet celebrity restaurants and trendy shops.
I took a short rest yesterday, and I was ready to go into the mountains early this morning!
At dawn, in a small shop full of Xiangxi customs, a bowl of Hunan spicy noodles arrived.
There is a Zhangjiajie Bus Station next to the old Zhangjiajie Railway Station. There are minibuses going to each gate of Zhangjiajie Forest Park in the station, which is quite convenient.
I first went to the Zhangjiajie Forest Park Ticket Station, which is the closest entrance to the city. Looking from afar, you can see the bronze statue of Wu Guanzhong standing in front of the gate of the scenic area. Yes, how can the people of Zhangjiajie forget this benefactor of Zhangjiajie?! It was Wu Guanzhong who discovered Zhangjiajie, which was "raised in a boudoir and unknown to anyone"!
Not long after the entrance, I arrived at the Oxygen Bar Square. It is said that this is the place with the highest negative oxygen ions in the country. I looked up at the Qifeng and was drunk.
On the left side of Dayang Bar Square is Huangshi Village, and walking forward is Jinbian Creek.
The purpose of my entry from the Zhangjiajie Forest Park ticket station was to walk along this beautiful stream named after the Golden Whip Rock. Jinbianxi originates from Tudiya and ends at Shuiaround Simen. It has a total length of 7.5 kilometers and spans almost the entire forest park.
Because it was late autumn, the stream was a little dry and the water was not large enough.
Walking through the deep ravines, peaks on both sides stand tall.
Go straight down the stream and pass by Jinbianyan, Changshou Spring, Shuanggui Tanxi, Huaguoshan and other scenic spots. It meanders among the green forests and forests. The stream is clear, and birds sing and flowers are fragrant.
Running up the slope, you can reach the back garden of Yuanjia Jie, but this road up the mountain requires more than 2000 steps. Those with good physical strength can walk up the mountain.
Camel Peak in Jinbian River is very similar: stretch your neck and hold your head high, and carry your weight far away.
After walking Jinbian River, we took an eco-friendly vehicle at the four gates of the water to the Bailong Ladder.
Standing at the Hundred Dragons Stairway and looking at more than 30 peaks of various shapes rising from the ground, like a group of soldiers standing in line. This is one of the top ten unique scenes in Zhangjiajie-the Gathering of Soldiers.
In order to save physical strength, I took the Hundred Dragons Ladder to Yuanjiajie.
The Bailong Ladder is magnificent, with a vertical height difference of 335 meters and a running height of 326 meters. It consists of a 154-meter shaft in the mountain and a 172-meter steel structure derrick attached to the mountain. It uses three double-layer fully exposed sightseeing and running in parallel. Recorded in the Guinness World Records with the honor of "tallest outdoor elevator"?, It is a perfect combination of natural beauty and man-made wonders.
It took only 1 minute and 32 seconds to arrive at Yuan Jiajie. After getting off the ladder and walking for about 10 minutes, you can take an eco-friendly car to the core scenic spot of Yuanjiajie.
The entire road in Yuanjiajie is relatively gentle, and you can visit the back garden, Quizai Terrace, Hallelujah Mountain, Lianxin Bridge, Changshou Pool, Divine Turtle Wentian, and World's No. 1 Bridge. It is easier to follow the signs.
The back garden is located at the junction of Zhongping and Xiaping in the Yuanjia boundary. When walking through the green bamboo forest between the cliffs, it was suddenly blocked by a stone wall. Just as there was no way out, I saw a full-moon white stone garden opening at the corner of the cliff. Dozens of strange peaks stand in the dark green deep streams, like a bonsai garden magnified countless times.
Qiankun Pillar, also known as the suspended mountain, is named after the suspended mountain prototype in the Avatar movie.
The best place to appreciate the Qiankun Pillar is not where the Avatar sculpture is. We have to continue to move forward. The bridge between hearts is the best perspective to shoot the Qiankun Pillar. This heart-to-heart bridge is a hollow steel structure bridge, from which you can directly see the valley thousands of meters below.
The Ecstasy Platform is divided into two levels. The first level has a gentle slope from east to west, about 100 square meters; the second level is about 2 meters lower than the first level and is a slab that is closely connected to the first level and extends horizontally. Watching the scenery here, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland, making people feel distracted.
Ecstasy Terrace is an ideal viewing position. Standing on the stage, there are hundreds of stone peaks standing around them, which are majestic. You can also see the world's first bridge that spans between the two mountains and has a vertical height difference of 357 meters.
The first bridge in the world, a curved arch bridge is naturally formed between the two mountains.
When we heard that the Yangjiajie Scenic Area was under maintenance and repair, we didn't go to Tianbo Prefecture, Wulong Village, etc., but we saw the Natural Great Wall at the Yangjiajie area, with all the strange peaks.
After the trip to Yangjiajie ended, it was getting late, and today's trip was basically over.
It takes at least two days to visit Zhangjiajie Forest Park, and it is best to arrange to live on the mountain. But now due to the need to protect the environment, stays are not allowed in the mountain scenic spots, so I booked a B & B near the Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station closest to the mountain scenic spot. This plan is quite correct.
I took an eco-friendly car on the mountain from Yangjiajie to Dingxiangrong Village, the distribution center of the scenic area. Here, there is the only free scenic area bus that goes directly to the entrance of the scenic area at the foot of the mountain-Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station. It is super cool and circles down the mountain road. Thousands of stone peaks roar past!
The owner of the B & B drove to the Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station to pick me up and return to the B & B, which was about a 10-minute drive. The B & B I booked on Ctrip was owned by a young couple with two toddlers who were learning to speak. Without the help of adults, the B & B was a bit messy.
I was so tired that I asked the B & B owner to cook some for dinner. A dish and a bowl of rice cost 40 yuan, which was a bit expensive.
The Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station has the highest altitude among the entrances to several scenic spots, almost halfway up the mountain, so it feels very cold to sleep at night. When you get up in the morning, the air in the mountains is fresh! The boss drove me to Tianzishan Town. The breakfast I had there was another bowl of Hunan rice noodles, which was quite rich.
Today's main attack is the Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area. It is located at the main peak of Tianzi Mountain. Looking up and looking into the distance, you have a vast vision, long perspective lines and rich levels.
Helong Park was built to commemorate Marshal He Long's battle to Tianzi Mountain. The bronze statue of He Long standing on the "Yunqingyan" is connected with nature, forming a unique artistic style.
From the next platform of Helong Park, I saw countless stone peaks like swords and halberds, standing among them.
On the terrace 200 meters east of Helong Park, there is a tower-like building-Tianzi Pavilion. It was built with donations from the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government in 1995. The pavilion introduces the history of Xiang Tianwang and also shows the Tujia and Miao people living in western Hunan. The customs and beliefs of ethnic minorities, such as ethnic minorities, gain some humanistic knowledge while appreciating the beautiful scenery.
Yubi Peak in Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area is one of the most popular places for photographers in Zhangjiajie. Standing on the observation deck and looking southwest, you can see dozens of well-arranged beautiful peaks protruding in the valley, rushing into the blue sky.
On the way from Helong Park back to Dingxiang Rong Village Transfer Station, you will pass by a semicircular deep valley full of mystery-Shentang Bay. Most tourists will not get off here, but you can ask the driver to put you down here.
There is a scenic spot very close to Shentang Bay called Dianjiangtai. Walking a few hundred meters from the road, you will see an entrance and then walking down. At first, you can't see the peak forest at all. You will see a viewing platform all the way down. More than dozens of peak pillars rise from the ground, like a scene at a military parade point in a school ground.
After walking back to the road from Dianjiangtai for a while, you will see a road leading to the deep valley.
This leads to Shentang Bay, located on Tianzi Mountain. It is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, and the bottom is deep in the bay. Since ancient times, it has been covered with a layer of mystery. It is unfathomable and its god is unspeakable.
There is an attraction called Laowuchang in Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area. It sounds like an inaccessible place, but it is actually an undeveloped scenic spot. In the past, there were no environmentally friendly vehicles entering, either on foot or chartered cars. Now an environmentally friendly vehicle starting from Dingxiangrong Village has been opened (but at an additional charge, 50 yuan/person round trip) to take tourists directly to Laowuchang.
The car will arrive at Laowuchang in 20 minutes. There are construction sites everywhere, so development should be underway. Follow the mountain road that has not yet been fully completed, all the way down.
Arriving at a viewing platform, I saw hundreds of stone peaks densely lined in the deep valley. This was the best place to view the gathering of divine weapons from another perspective.
Looking far away, you can see the Hundred Dragons Stairway in the Yuan Family Boundary opposite, penetrating into the deep valley from the sky.
There is a beautiful scenery in the west of the Laowuchang Scenic Area-the Sky Pastoral. It is an empty land with three sides facing a deep and lifted up in the sky. There are dozens of acres of rice fields on it. If you look carefully, you can still distinguish the green fields. There is a winding path that stretches into another hill. Perhaps this is where the farmers in the countryside walked out of their paradise and merged into the world.
Take a bus back to Dingxiangrong Village. There is a Daguantai nearby. After walking along the road for about ten minutes, you will arrive at the location of Daguantai. It is located at the turn of the road and you can overlook the peak forest below. Opposite is Shentang Bay and Helong Park.
As the sun sets, the two-day trip to Zhangjiajie Forest Park ends.
Here, I specially pointed out to the viewing officials that it is very convenient to take a free eco-friendly car down the mountain from Dingxiangrong Village to the Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station. Not far from the scenic spot, there is a Chinese bus to Zhangjiajie City.
In order to make it easier to go to Tianmen Mountain in the morning, I stayed at the same B & B last night-Guanyuan Inn booked on Ctrip (Tianmen Mountain Store of Zhangjiajie Railway Station).
Tickets for Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area are booked in advance on Ctrip. This ticket must be booked in advance. If you buy it temporarily, you may miss it. I booked Line A of Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park (Tianmen Mountain Cableway Up the Mountain-Tianmen Cave Express Cableway Down the Mountain).
Tianmenshan Cableway is the world's longest alpine passenger cableway. The cableway has a total length of 7454 meters and a height difference of 1277 meters. It is one of the few cableways in China with a height difference of more than 1,000 meters. The local slope between station and station is as high as 37 degrees, rare in the world and very exciting.
You can reach the top in one step and enjoy the different scenery from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Looking down, you can see the Tongtian Avenue of Tianmen Mountain, also known as the "Jiuqu Tianlu", like a giant python lying in the mountain jungle.
After getting out of the cableway, stand on the station and take the west line: in order: Lingxiao Terrace-Glass Plank Road-Ghost Valley Plank Road-Qiuerdong-Tianmen Temple.
Arriving at Lingxiao Terrace, you have a vast view. When it's sunny, you can overlook the entire Urban area of Zhangjiajie. It was raining continuously, and we saw rolling clouds of clouds and mountains.
There is a high-altitude plank road on the cliff outside Lingxiao Terrace, leaning against the cliff and facing the sea of clouds.
I was scared to death when I walked through the glass plank road that was not too dangerous in the past. In such an exciting Tianmen Mountain, I didn't dare to walk the glass plank road that I had been thinking about before. Bypass the glass plank road on the west line and directly enter the Ghost Valley plank road.
The Ghost Valley Plank Road is named after it hangs along the cliffs on the upper side of Ghost Valley Cave. It is one of the most dangerous high-altitude plank roads in the country. Almost the entire section of Ghost Valley Plank Road is suspended, plus the large drop from the ground to walk on it makes people feel scared, and the scenery in the canyon is extremely magnificent.
The plank road passes through a huge longitudinal crack, with a vertical depth of hundreds of meters, as if it was hacked by a divine soldier and a celestial general with a giant axe. The walls on both sides of the crack stand thousands of feet, pressing down on them to destroy it. It is called the "Ghost Valley Heavenly Chasm" here.
Walking on the plank road in shock and trembling, surrounded by clouds and mist, can only appreciate the beauty of Tianmen Mountain after experiencing that thrilling experience.
At the end of the Ghost Valley Plank Road is a suspension bridge. After crossing the bridge, it is also close to the end of the Western Line.
After passing through several scenic spots, we arrived at Tianmen Mountain Temple.
Tianmen Mountain Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and is the Buddhist center in Xiangxi. The temple is located in a mountain nest and has a wide view. It truly has the spirit of being a mountain.
After reaching Tianmen Temple, we will take the east line: Love of Wood and Stone-overlooking Tianmen in the south--Glass Plank Road on the east--(Xianyuan--Kouyun Pass--Zuiyun Pavilion--Yuhu Peak--Lingquan)--overlooking Tianmen in the north--Tianmen turns over water.
Love between wood and stone, a touching love story. Modern people regard this place as a spiritual place for prayers and wishes.
There is also a plank road embedded in the rock wall on the east line. Although it is much inferior to the Ghost Valley plank road, it is still a stroll on the clouds.
Arriving at the top of Tianmen Cave and overlooking the huge cave from the south, the hands that stretched out outside the guardrail to take photos were shaking.
This is a stone door lock emerald. Look, does it look like it?
There is also a glass plank road on the east line. It is recommended to take the glass plank road on the west line. Pass this one.
There is a spring here called Lingquan.
After experiencing so many beautiful scenery, I still have another destination in my heart-Yuhu Peak. I wanted to go there because there was a wing-mounted flight platform there, so I wanted to go and have a look. I wanted to stand there and feel my brave heart!
Yuhu Peak is one of the sixteen peaks of Tianmen Mountain. It is named because it looks like a jade pot for holding wine. It is also one of the best scenic spots on Tianmen Mountain. Its east, west and south are cliffs, which are strange and dangerous.
Standing on the Ghost Valley Plank Road, you can overlook Yuhu Peak in the misty sea of mountains and mountains. To the west is the towering cliff of Tianmen Mountain, to the north is Chaotian Mountain, and to the southeast are 48 Matou Mountains.
After passing through scenic spots such as Happy Forest and Yundong, I came to Yuhu Peak panting and saw it! I saw it! The flight platform!
Climbing to the summit, you have passed the clouds, and the clouds of clouds surround the entire vision.
Coming down from Yuhu Peak, passing through the North Overlooking Tianmen, we overlook Tianmen Cave from the north.
When I came to Tianmen to climb the water, I wanted to go down the mountain. When I thought that the highest point of Yunmeng Immortal Peak had not yet been there, I knew that the scenery was not good, but I was still unwilling.
When I arrived, except for the highest peak of Tianmen Mountain, which is 1,518.6 meters above sea level, it was really empty.
On the way to Yunmeng Xianding, I accidentally broke into Gongtong Garden on this 1500-meter Tianmen Mountain. Davidia involucrata is a remnant plant left in the tertiary period of the Cenozoic era 10 million years ago. During the Quaternary Glacial Period, Davidia involucrata in most areas became extinct one after another. Only some areas in southern China survived. It is called "Plant Giant Panda", and the more than 100 Davidia involucrata communities here are even rarer.
I returned to Tianmen to climb the water and took the escalator through the mountain down the mountain. After taking seven long escalators, I felt dizzy.
I finally looked up at Tianmen Cave from zero distance. It was really great!
Finally, I arrived at the 999-level ladder at the foot of Tianmen Gate and decided to walk it.
Although Tianmen Cave, which was shrouded in fog, was a little blurred, I used this posture to pay tribute to the countless warriors who crossed Tianmen Cave!
